Come again sometime to enlighten this soul groping in unawareness
Will there be another time
I will be coming across or meeting you
A question that comes to my mind
Always when I cross a person
Of unique characteristics
The person could be a male or female
Young or old
In school uniform
Or in a casual, but tastefully-select attire
Even a beggar lying on roadside platform
Under a tree looking at a distant dream
A kid sitting in a car
Insisting parents to buy something
From a street vendor
An aged fruit seller
Impressing buyers on the taste of
Fruits of his basket
And so on and so many
May be that person’s trait
The way he or she looks
The way the person talks
The scent left behind
The careless freelancing ways
A striking beauty
And so many other things
That would have drawn me to them
May be this is the last ever time
I came across them
Whatever it is
I experienced an impact
Because of their presence around
And there arose a desire in me
To be near them or they be around me
Most of them I have no clue
As to what they are
Where they hail from
Where do they go and
For what purpose
Definite it is
I got impressed by some of their
My-attention-drawn qualities
And I would like to
Imitate them if given a chance
Each one had something to convey
And I was not able decipher the message
I see in them teachers
Indirectly and silently
Conveying great many things
Which my limited wisdom
Does not understand
That is why
I feel
Will there be another time
I will be coming across or meeting you
Come again sometime to enlighten
This soul groping in unawareness

Second Chance
Sometimes we do something without thinking and it turns out bad
One mistake can rude your life
Unless you get
Second chance
To see the person you love in same class with you again
You feel it’s your time to make it right
It never too late to do it
You get that feeling you felt before and it all coming back
You can’t talk to that person again and stop looking at that person
You feel all butterfly coming back too
You feel nervous and feel that person is right for you
Second chance
To show that you still care for that person and want to be with that person
If she or he still have feelings for you, you hope and pray it work out
You finally got that person you want and if that
Second chance
Doesn’t work out then it never meant to be after all
You have to move on
Second Chance

When One Meets A New Person
When one
Meets a new person
Rarely one leaves
A lasting impression
One forgets meeting
That person
The one who leaves
A pleasant feeling
In the first meeting
Engulfs the heart and mind
One wants to
Meet the person
Again and again
Anxiety and desire
Increases
A fondness develops
Wish to strengthen
Relations
Is foremost in the mind
The unknown
Becomes known
And one’s own
Remains nearer
With heart and soul
Becomes unending desire

Positive Thinker
Am I a good thinker?
Can I see what others don't?
Am I a daring person?
Can I do what others do not like to do?
Or others are afraid to do?
Am I a creative and imaginative person?
Can I see the invisible?
Can I feel the intangible?
Can I achieve the impossible?
Am I a contemplating person?
Am I a self-reflective person?
Am I a confidence person?
Am I a self-reliance person?
Can I be a perfect person?
Can I be a clever person?
Can I be a smart thinker person?
Above all,
I prefer to be
A simple person
With a positive attitude,
Not only accept positive things,
But willing to accept negative things.

To remain close
It is not essential for person to remain closer
This has remained puzzle and direct poser
You may not know a person even if with proximity
It will be your great wisdom and sheer ability
What you try to know of a person?
It will be linked to various reasons
If you have love and affection
You will be very watchful in your action
You have definite angle in mind
You may not try for any other angle to find
You have little anxiety about person’s character
You have fixed all your attention on one factor
I was such person who has not claimed closeness
Yet find his company so enterprising with firmness
He is there at any time with you to take side
There is apparently no link to enlarge or wide
It may give immense love and protection
If you are always ready for action
This will prove you self to be good friend
But will not close the link with abrupt end
This is what generally happens in sweet relation
When more than two people have same indication
It is difficult to go close and maintain liaison
Even though you have right and every reason
If you can watch it from distance
You must show courage and presence
It will prove at right time and place
As you have withdrawn from active race

A Reflection
At one time I was blind
Blinded by the person in the mirror
The person in the mirror
Was someone I didn't like
A person that was full of anger
Anger which know one could stop
A person who was dishonest
A person who lied to themselves
A person who lied, cheated and stole
This person scared me
Yet the reflection I seen
Was me
How could this be me?
I didn't like this person I was looking at
That person couldn't of been me
Yet it was time to face the facts
This was me
This is who I'am
Now I know I had to change
If I didn't like this person
Then who would like this person?

When A Person Does Not Know What To Do With Himself
WHEN A PERSON DOES NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH HIMSELF
When a person does not know what to do with himself
When a person feels empty
When a person feels everything he had done and everything he can do do is meaningless
When a person is bored
When a person does not know what to do with himself
And wonders why he is on this earth
And how he will endure more of it
When a person does not know what to do with himself
He must do any little thing he can do
To get himself going-
He must wash the dishes or clean the house or take something to eat or take a small walk or read a page
Or do any one of a million or more other small things to get himself going
And once he is going he must somehow go on and on and from this to something else
So that at some point somewhere along the way somehow
He is doing something
Perhaps not that great
But doing something
And in doing something
Perhaps forgetting about himself
A bit
Perhaps.

Lost Child
The person I knew
Is gone today
The person I knew
Has flown away
The person I knew
To my sad dismay
That person I knew
Has gone astray
The Child I knew
Has passed away
How sad I am
Is hard to say
The words too frail
They can't convey
The loss I feel
They can't portray
Each time in thought
I pass this way

What Can One Person Do
(n. rodgers/g. smith)
What can one person do
More than a little bit
More than a little bit
Can I fight the battle
All by myself
Can I make a miracle happen
As long as I can think
And got my health
Ill never stop
Im too strong for that
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Everyones gotta move
What they can move
The faithful can sometimes move mountains
When your faith is right
You will never lose your heart, your hope
Or your good friends
Dont be overcome by frustrations
Live up to your highest expectations
Im tellin you just for your information
Just for, just for your information
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Looked into my soul and suspected
That Im gonna take, gonna take on the unexpected
Walked into the fire unprotected
Walk into the fire
What can one person do
What can one person be
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me

Angels Cry
When you see death,
You know you have to leave this place,
When angels cry,
You know that person is crying,
All you can do is cry for that person,
All you can say is please don't cry,
All you want to do is cry and regret on what you said to that person,
To see that person pass away it breaks your heart,
Wanting to die to be with them,
Somewhere out there you he or she is watching over you,
When angels cry,
You know the person you care about is crying for you,
You feel lost without that person,
Sometimes you wish you can turn back the hands of time just to say goodbye to that person,
Your final words,
When angels cry,
You want to say goodbye,
No regrets, No nothing, that emptyness you feel inside fades away within time.
To my best friend Andrew Ybarra who passed away on March 2,2009.
May he R.I.P.

Take me for who I am
Why cant you accept me?
Accept I am a person.
I have feelings too.
Just like you.
I hurt too.
Just like you.
I still feel.
Even though I hide it.
I still feel.
Take me for who I am.
Stop hating me.
Cuase Im not like you.
I have my own mind.
Take me for me.
Im not gonna change.
For you or any one else.
Im a person to.
I feel and hurt the same.
Just like you do.
I am a person.
Im still a person.
No matter what I do.
Or different ways I have.
Im still a person.
Please stop juding me.
Take me for who I am.
Afeter all Im a person too.
Im just different from you

Fathoming Male Mind
The male mind in me
Is troublesome at times
With so many other worldly things
To ponder
With so many challenging tasks
To be accomplished
The male mind in me
Fathoms instantly at the sight of a
Female structure
Either crossing you, bypassing you,
Or on a poster
The other day in the morning
I was walking towards office
With a scheme to make a presentation
The contents of which
Will decide the future course of business
As it required a thorough revamping
Following a crisis of competition
A female in her late twenties or early thirties
Was walking towards me
Her attire revealed much of her anatomy
Added to her elegant gait
And dangerous curves swinging
All in a male-attention-drawing fashion
Result was that
I lost track of the flow of presentation
Despite its convincing contents
I failed to impress upon the
Decision-making audience
On my business strategy
Evolved over a week of toil
This was all because of the
Fathoming male mind in me
Though this thought
Gives a kind of excitement
At the time of its striking
It leaves a hurt feeling
As it proves the insincerity
Deeply sown in me
This quality of my mind
Drags away my attention
Blurs my vision on
Other more important issues
Those have potential to help me grow
I confess my inability to control
This aspect of my mind
I have no other go but
To request my male mind
To indulge less itself in such comprehension
If not, to keep itself away from fathoming
Oh, my manliness, help me
Become a better person

Fear of losing what i want the most
i'm lost and confuse,
my heart want you,
but it afraid of getting hurt,
and taking a chance,
i'm only with him,
becuz he knows my past,
he knows me,
or maybe not,
but i feel safe,
not happy,
safe that not much will be lost,
if i take this road,
than be with you,
you are amazing,
in every single way,
i feel safe with you,
i feel i can trust you,
i feel you get me,
in ways i've been looking for,
all of this time i'm running around blind,
you get the things,
i don't want to have to explain,
you kind of know by my moods,
how far you can push me,
and kind of when to stop,
why am i with the person i don't want to be?
am i searching for something else?
a mother in law,
that reminds me of mine?
so lost and confuse,
but yet knows what feels right,
yet why am i having to choose,
between that one special person,
that just feels right,
in so many ways,
than that one person,
i don't really feel nothing for?

A Person's Worth Is Invaluable
A person's worth,
Isn't in their ability...
To obtain worldly possessions.
Or in the quality of them.
Can that person nourish others,
With encouragement?
Can that person be a true friend...
When the time for being one,
Shows what kind of skin...
That person 'is'
And exposes from within.
Being able to spend cash,
And make a quick dash on trips...
Or do a name dropping of notables,
Doesn't mean a thing...
If a person is negligent,
To extend heartfelt feelings...
Not too many can express or mention.
A person's worth is invaluable,
When a genuineness appears...
To surface time and again.
And that is proven to be dependable,
Without a doubt or a need to question.
Can that person nourish others,
With encouragement that does not end?
A person's worth will unearth,
Who and what comes first...
Regardless of those impressions made,
Someday that will fade...
Long after established ties with others,
Have remained to stay!

What I Appreciate
I appreciate
A person who acknowledge
His or her mistakes
I appreciate a person
Who apologizes
And doesn't hesitate
I appreciate
A person who makes
You believe
What they say because
They mean it truly
I appreciate
A person who keeps their word
After all it's what I deserve
I appreciate
A person who's apology
I can accept
Because it will be sincere
And I can forgive and forget it
I appreciate
Having someone I admire
It is my desire
I appreciate a person
Like this I would
Be truly flattered
For it's important
And to me it matters
So I know you are wondering
Can I do the same thing.....
Absolutely

Who We Are
Sometimes I wish I didn't awake to find my dream
sometimes I explain things when they know what I mean
sometimes I wish I didnt take things to heart
but sometimes its these things, that make us who we are.
When the rain pours down I walk through a crowded park
and I know I am not the only one sat in this empty bar
you know you want to shine but don't know if you want to be a star
all you know is, your looking for the person you are
the person you are
your looking for the person you are
the person you really are.
Its hard, no one can say that its not
we all turn pages in our minds
to find innocence we thought we forgot.

They Don't Think So-The Rationale of Robert
I am a bad person
At least I have done bad things
I admit it.
Lied, hurt others, cheated
and things worse.
yes, I know.
All bad.
But I don't really believe that I
am a bad person.
I am a good person
who has done bad things.
Most I am sorry for;
some I am not as much
as I should.
But what am I to do?
A good person
trapped by my own bad deeds.
Should I flagellate
repent, confess?
But why?
The deeds were bad, not I.
A really good person could see that
and forgive me.
A bad person can not and will not.
So, I guess they are bad just like me.
Now that leaves the good people
who see that bad deeds are not me
and forgive.
They even may forget.
But the fact they able to do that
makes me feel inferior.
They think they are better than me
and that is bad.
So, if they make me feel bad
then they are not really good people.
So, you see the whole world is just like me
even if they don't think so.

Did you know
i'm the one who got A's in school
Did you know
I'm some what cool
Did you know
I'm the coolest person you can ever meet
Did you know
I also can be the person you don't want to meet
You don't know nothing
cause I didn't give you a chance
you have to understand
I don't have time for a man

Mirroring the shades of me
I look into the mirror and
Seeing not only a reflection of myself,
This world or the world daring me to enter
But the person I use to be
The one I'm afraid to be again
The person who would tear your heart apart
And not care
The person that didn't take her education seriously
The type of person that wanted to do
What she wanted to do
I see the person I am
Someone who helps you
No matter what
Even if I'm the one getting kicked
The senior in high school getting ready for graduation
Hovering over the next level of my life
But trying to find a way up out of the middle of the ocean
Everyone calls life in an education box
This is where I will discover
The mouse and tiger inside of me
Don't want to think of separating
Of being alone
And on my own
It's faded but there as I glance into the mirror
I see the person I will be
A person who helps other people
Discover that people with disabilities
Are not so different
I have found my way up the education latter
Helping people
Showing them there is someone that cares
And believes that they can do
Whatever they set their mind too
As if my mind was coming back to me
Out of a dream
My eyes cleared
As I realized I was just
Standing in front of a mirror
Thinking of that red cap and gown again
