Beloved Haunting Memory
Oh how you haunt me,
blessed memory of my beloved!
You wake me every morn'
and twice from my dreams.
How jealous you are of my slumber!
You appear as a reverberating echo when
someone's footsteps sound so similar to his stride.
I've heard that pattern a thousand times over
every floor surface imaginable.
You grip me when someone takes hold of my shoulder.
I turn to find only your face and a stranger's,
but not that of my beloved.
Dear memory, you are dipped in cologne, wear his hat,
stole his laugh and feign ghostly kisses that stain my lips.
Sometimes I wish you were as intangible as he, but mostly my sweet,
you are the blanket he wrapped 'round me when I was cold.
You are the words of solace sung off his breath
that still my heart and soul.
You are my companion as we walk familiar streets
linked arm in arm.
You are my safety net, only not so perdurable
as the one I had before.

The Symphony of the Soul
oh! great and magnificent Orchestra loud sweet
and sound, echo in each heart; wishing to hurdle the
ears that sing with the tune that weaken my frustrated
soul to sleep into the age of every beginning I believe
take the million stars I pray, paint a thousand time, the
journey of your way; sojourn me to the paradise, for I
will take my vow and lead my foot step where I solemnly
promise, that I am gone lure in the memory of you and
me
the up and down persuade my strength to venture, the
far distance that create the night with you, slowly make
me to know the truth that only in you I whisper the star,
oh! let me be with you my love, my darling, my enmity of
my soul and touch my being with you
now, take every touch and let each strand to jingle in the
most resounding melody and my heart rejoice of the
symphony, the once I ever heard in the womb I stayed,
hold and cover me in the face of an angry soul for in you
I stay and return my day
lift me high in my hidden prayer you hear, embrace my
weaknesses and hold me in the string of every melody
of notes where my heart desire and burden me not in
your own love, as I will always love thee
the breezing air cooled my fading face, please let me
make a little wish.... may the beloved soul I'll take be rest
in your loving heart, dear Father, I commend my Spirit

One Whisper of the Beloved
Lovers share a sacred decree –
to seek the Beloved.
They roll head over heels,
rushing toward the Beautiful One
like a torrent of water.
In truth, everyone is a shadow of the Beloved –
Our seeking is His seeking,
Our words are His words.
At times we flow toward the Beloved
like a dancing stream.
At times we are still water
held in His pitcher.
At times we boil in a pot
turning to vapor –
that is the job of the Beloved.
He breathes into my ear
until my soul
takes on His fragrance.
He is the soul of my soul –
How can I escape?
But why would any soul in this world
want to escape from the Beloved?
He will melt your pride
making you thin as a strand of hair,
Yet do not trade, even for both worlds,
One strand of His hair.
We search for Him here and there
while looking right at Him.
Sitting by His side we ask,
'O Beloved, where is the Beloved?'
Enough with such questions! –
Let silence take you to the core of life.
All your talk is worthless
When compared to one whisper
of the Beloved.
Then I Wake Up
i smell the fragrance
of your hair
feel your fingers and your breath
on my skin
when we're here alone like this
a crazy world makes perfect sense
i hear you whisperin' my name
your kisses leave the sweetest taste
on my lips
when you say 'i love you too'
soft and tender like you do
i know all m dreams have come true
(chorus)
then i wake up
on the floor beside our bed
where i sleep
ever since the night
you left me alone
in this old house
days go by
but im still in love
with who we used to be
now you're just a precious memory
i can count on every night to hold me tight
then i wake up
i lay here while the truth sinks in
im still alone you're still not here
and we're still through
i remember our last night
every word right up to goodbye
slowly i drift off again
im saing words i wish id said
that night, to you
and you dont drive off in your car
and i dont have a broken heart
and you cant wait to be in my arms
(repeat chorus)
im still in love
with who we used to be
now you're just
a precious memory
i can count on every night
to hold me tight
then i wake up
on the floor
beside our bed

but im still in love

Memory (Thy Shall)
Thy shall not slumber,
Thy shall not wake,
A memory so fragile,
So delicate it may break.
A memory so lost,
So unwanted it tears apart,
Until it dies,
It shall go back to thy start.
A powerful memory it may be,
Or a memory that shall be overlooked,
Thy one shall let it see,
How thy memory is like a book.
But how powerful thy memory is,
It has to be stronger than a good memory,
A memory that has passion and feeling,
A memory that has greatness and becoming myself, I, and me.
Until that kind of memory is shown,
Thy memory shall be looked upon near and far,
Thy memory shall be kept hidden,
Until it shall be who we are.
Thy shall not slumber,
Thy shall not wake,
A memory so fragile,
so delicate it may break.

Joyce Storms
A deluge of thoughts blanket me...
Once steadied by the shade but no more
The rain is now steadily pouring
And in the background a Requiem Mass opens sorrows door.
So many years ago beloved friend...
You joined two very lonely lives
Learning of your much too early departure belatedly
Tears now overcome mine eyes.
Cancer and its ruthless ravaging...
Over took your brillant blue eyes
My Matron of Honor-you shall always be
Even though this heart of mine cries
HollyPark will always be the beginning...
Where you and your better half led me
And i will always hold your memory dearly
Even though now, i must grieve.
A candle will always burn for you, dear one
Because of your blessed friendship, beloved Joyce
You've been with God and His Angels now 6 years
I do understand our loving Gods choice
I tried to find you so many times...
In this computer age of lost friends
Tell you when i learned about your passing- -it was nearly my end.
Oh such a heavy heart i now have
A weight boring in the middle of my core
Know that it is my Soul reeeling
As your Requiem Mass has opened Sorrows Door.

True Love
True love
That blessing from God above
My dearest darling does exist!
In sweet slow motion
From morning mist
Emerged our dream
When two souls kissed.
From my heart flies smiles
Free as dancing kite
Across a thousand miles,
That letter of love you write.
Clinging to the wings of a dove tonight
My true love shimmering bright.
Can I cover you in kisses
Your blanket for the cold
My body misses
Our rapture taking hold.
Moonlit embrace captures my memory
Now dawn dare never,
Take you away from me.
My true love
One flower that heartache stole
Will wilt away
Yet you're forever in my soul.
I breathe
To touch your eyes divine.
Bequeth
All now is yours
That once was mine.
My life, our world
A new sky unfurled.
Sweet lady
In sunset of summer wine
You sting my heart
With words of bright sunshine.
I won't recover
In dew kissed flowered field
Until my pain
Your sweetest lips have healed.

Haunting
Sleep is an enemy these days
I sleep, I wake, I sleep, I wake
I look outside the window at the night
Sometimes I have such dreams
as vivid as the day, at other times
the dreams, they stay away.
It was a night of vivid dreams
I heard a noise downstairs, someone shuffling, rustling
I called, "Is someone there? "
Footsteps coming closer, passing by my door.
I heard the bathroom being used
and I called out some more.
The bedroom door creaked open,
she moved across the room, her face was so familiar
but I screamed and off she flew.
The face I saw was tired miserable and worn.
She seemed to be quite harmless
but still I was concerned
and later on that morning
as the sun rose in the sky, I realised who she was
and I breathed a heavy sigh.
The lady in my bedroom
was someone I knew well. It was me you see dear reader,
it seems I haunt myself

In the spirit of Rumi - 20
I sang to My Beloved
O My Beloved –
how could I sing of the joy
of being closer to You
than Your breath…
than Your eyes…
than Your lips…
if Sorrow had not visited me? …
In the middle of the darkest night
in the cold midwinter of the heart,
a stranger knocked upon my door:
it was Sorrow, wrapped in blackest cloak.
I greeted Sorrow; bade come in;
ate bread with Sorrow and drank wine with it;
then with a smile, sent Sorrow on its way.
Now the sun has risen,
the dawn is like a world made new
and I have woken fresh
as if I had already washed.
[this one comes with a smile for Allie, who occasioned it...]

Take Your Memory With You
I can read the writing on the wall
You pretend that nothings changed at all
Ive got just one thing to ask you if its so
Just take your memory with you when you go
So I wont have to think about
The lonely nights Ill be without
Someone to hold me when the cold wind blows
Take your memory with you when you go
I walk the floor and wonder what went wrong
Ill have to find a way to carry on
Why dont you leave before the heartache starts to show
Take your memory with you when you go
So I wont have to think about
The lonely nights Ill be without
Someone to hold me when the cold wind blows
Take your memory with you
So I wont have to miss you
Take your memory with you when you go

Death, promise a sweet goodbye
if i will die the heaven wish is to cry,
the world will always remember the lasting peace
i've give and the honest wreath of the heart will bloom
as the golden sky lapses my coffin
with a simple cry
as the journey comes away a long step
to go, the soul wait a sudden clicks with outmost
respect of angels; waving the horizon of waiting,
knowing that you will
pass bye
make the best of the tears that fall, the
beloved will only stay for a while and walk a million
miles, fading as each steps, wondered every drops of
tears, melted in the scented candle of memory, away
from the beloved dear where you want
to stay lastingly
sleep, the time is not me to hold, but yet!
the daylight leads me to close, as the smile in your face
color me to say a sweet goodbye.....
lead me Lord to your kingdom.....

Dancin round & round
(adam mitchell)
Im gonna go out tonight
Gonna feel alright
If it tears me right in two
cause I just cant stay feeling this way
With a heart thats full of you
Im gonna go right down
To a part of town
Where Ive never been before
And in some small place
Find a brand new face
And step out on the floor
And Ill be dancing round and round
And Ill be satisfied if I can just hold my ground
And if he helps me to keep your memory down
Ill be dancing round and round
Well you put some distance round you
I know I meant to see
Theres a space inside for someone
But I know it isnt me
So among the boys who are searching
And the girls who hope theyre found
If you look for me, Im the one youll see
Whos dancing round and round
And Ill be dancing round and round
And Ill be satisfied if I can just hold my ground
And if he helps me to keep your memory down
Ill be dancing round and round
Come on music, wash my tears away
Come on darkness, cover up the day
Dancing round and round
And Ill be satisfied if I can just hold my ground
And if he helps me to keep your memory down
Ill be dancing round and round
Ill be dancing round and round

A Lover's Call XXVII
Where are you, my beloved? Are you in that little
Paradise, watering the flowers who look upon you
As infants look upon the breast of their mothers?
Or are you in your chamber where the shrine of
Virtue has been placed in your honor, and upon
Which you offer my heart and soul as sacrifice?
Or amongst the books, seeking human knowledge,
While you are replete with heavenly wisdom?
Oh companion of my soul, where are you? Are you
Praying in the temple? Or calling Nature in the
Field, haven of your dreams?
Are you in the huts of the poor, consoling the
Broken-hearted with the sweetness of your soul, and
Filling their hands with your bounty?
You are God's spirit everywhere;
You are stronger than the ages.
Do you have memory of the day we met, when the halo of
You spirit surrounded us, and the Angels of Love
Floated about, singing the praise of the soul's deed?
Do you recollect our sitting in the shade of the
Branches, sheltering ourselves from Humanity, as the ribs
Protect the divine secret of the heart from injury?
Remember you the trails and forest we walked, with hands
Joined, and our heads leaning against each other, as if
We were hiding ourselves within ourselves?
Recall you the hour I bade you farewell,
And the Maritime kiss you placed on my lips?
That kiss taught me that joining of lips in Love
Reveals heavenly secrets which the tongue cannot utter!
That kiss was introduction to a great sigh,
Like the Almighty's breath that turned earth into man.
That sigh led my way into the spiritual world,
Announcing the glory of my soul; and there
It shall perpetuate until again we meet.
I remember when you kissed me and kissed me,
With tears coursing your cheeks, and you said,
"Earthly bodies must often separate for earthly purpose,
And must live apart impelled by worldly intent.
"But the spirit remains joined safely in the hands of
Love, until death arrives and takes joined souls to God.
"Go, my beloved; Love has chosen you her delegate;
Over her, for she is Beauty who offers to her follower
The cup of the sweetness of life.
As for my own empty arms, your love shall remain my
Comforting groom; you memory, my Eternal wedding."
Where are you now, my other self? Are you awake in
The silence of the night? Let the clean breeze convey
To you my heart's every beat and affection.
Are you fondling my face in your memory? That image
Is no longer my own, for Sorrow has dropped his
Shadow on my happy countenance of the past.
Sobs have withered my eyes which reflected your beauty
And dried my lips which you sweetened with kisses.
Where are you, my beloved? Do you hear my weeping
From beyond the ocean? Do you understand my need?
Do you know the greatness of my patience?
Is there any spirit in the air capable of conveying
To you the breath of this dying youth? Is there any
Secret communication between angels that will carry to
You my complaint?
Where are you, my beautiful star? The obscurity of life
Has cast me upon its bosom; sorrow has conquered me.
Sail your smile into the air; it will reach and enliven me!
Breathe your fragrance into the air; it will sustain me!
Where are you, me beloved?
Oh, how great is Love!
And how little am I!

A Thousand Thoughts Of You
(s. gallop, u. minucci)
A thousand thoughts of you
Will haunt me ever after
The music of your laughter
Will serenade my heart.
A thousand thoughts of you
Will roam the night and find me
With chains of love, theyll bind me
To dreams that wont depart.
Your face,
Your smile,
The moonlight in your hair
Your lips,
Your eyes,
Ill see them everywhere.
A thousand kisses, too
Will keep me reminiscing
For therell be no dismissing
A thousand thoughts of you.
~interlude~
A thousand kisses, too
Will keep me reminiscing
For therell be no dismissing
A thousand thoughts of you.

Life Has A Great Customer!
Life is having one great customer,
The Lord in disguise in every life,
Blessed is the lotus, which blooms in mudfilled lake,
Golden petals lotus, in trifle suffered hearts,
May it be an Einstein,
or may a Gibran,
Such births take place in this pool,
Filled with so many problems!
Yet the love is so great,
I love my beloved more than my life,
This life is his,
This life is for him,
Every moment I die and reborn in him,
Every sound of rustling leaves,
My beloved's call,
With every wind the fragrance of beloved cometh,
Every moving cloud shows,
Different face of my beloved,
With every raise and fall of a wave,
My beloved shows up,
In every golden rays of the Morning Sun is my beloved's procession,
Rooster calling, wake up see the glories procession of beloved,
Birds singing praise of the beloved,
In dewdrops his world shineth,
Everyday if one rooster or bird gone,
It take the rebirth to sing his glory,
Every dew dropp evaporated appear next morning,
So am I to die every moment,
To this world I am dead,
Ever living and sleeping in beloved's heart,
Whenever I want my eyes to fill his glory,
I come out of his heart,
Stand aside, and look at my beloved's beautiful face!

Its easy to see shes the perfect girl
Shes got every single thing
That makes up my wildest dreams
Sometimes I still cant quite believe shes holding me cause
Shes got it all my heart my soul my wishes
All of my love my hugs my kisses
Everything that means anything at all
All my life Ive spent hopin
I could give someone such devotion
Every sweet memory I can recall

Someone to love like this
Only existed in my prayers
Until I saw her face
I knew I found the place
Where I could keep my every faith eternally cause

In the spirit of Rumi - 23
I asked My Beloved
How may I know the secret
of being a perfect Sufi,
insan al-kamil,
a perfect Friend of God?
My Beloved said
You will never in your life be sure;
and that is just how it should be;
that way, you will be safe in Me;
instead, seek always where My secret might be found:
as you walk, look closely at all of nature;
every flower, every tree, every lake, every cloud,
every bird, every animal;
look closely at them, to see
if they hold My secret;
as you walk down the street,
look into the eyes of each human being
to see if they know My secret in their heart;
listen to every sound and every word
in case My secret hides within them;
or in the scent of roses, or in the taste of food;
go to sleep with this question on your lips,
wake with this question in your mind;
and though you will never find the answer,
one day the question shall cease to be a question
and become the song which you have always known.

Awakening
in the deep slumber, the echo of the night lives,
wondering the sweet experience of the past,
the lasting bastion of existence of the soul
a milk in the lips of the child, hold on the
breath of each day to survive, like lime of the
sweeten tongue of every lip quest its thirst
awake every deep sleep
sow then the fertile land of wheat, for
nothing would be hungry in the each stomach
that is full, uproot and lead every sweet
strengthen sweat that touches the ground nay,
lay not the hands to toil the land for death waits
no one in the grave
leave not to hold the closing eye the vision to
walk in the valley of tears, for only the presence
of the heart will tell where the night is falling
apart, in the dream that your eyes is open to close
just be there and hold me tight, the star is there
waiting to grasp the falling rainbow in your
eyes......

People who waits their beloved one in their
Deep sleep “

To Her Memory
You are abruptly lost
Like a kite
flying on raw threads
Your loss is my memory
Your face hangs in the sky
Against the wind
Oh! your memory!
my words are far away from
The metaphors that could hold on
you to the landscape of my mind
Your memory sings against language
or sounds
You defy my familiar tools
And dimly expose an unknown
familiar to ages
and ages of our species
