Grow

I want to
Grow…
Old with you,
So that we both
Look uglier
Together ;)

Yet,
We'll say
To each other:
You look
Beautiful
To me :)
As beauty
Lies in the
Eyes of the
Beholder :)

Beauty

It has been said.
Beauty lies
in the eyes
of the beholder.

Might one ask.
Does beauty
in or of itself
recognize any bounds?

To voice an opinion
as to knowledge of beauty.
Must the beholder
be acclaimed expert?

In all truth.
Might an expression
of beauty be but
an affair of one's heart?

Beauty

Doesn’t matter
If I look ugly
To the world

If I look beautiful
In your eyes…
Beauty reigns
Over me :)

Become a beautiful person...

Beauty lies in kindness,
Beauty lies in honesty…
Blend them together,
Become a beautiful faculty….

Beauty lies in love,
Beauty lies in grin…
Rapped them together,
Become a beautiful being…

Beauty lies in care,
Beauty lies in your expressions…
Brew them together,
Become a beautiful person…

Beautiful Woman!

Beautiful like fresh flower,
Beautiful with rainbows in eyes,
Beautiful with shyness and smile,
beautiful woman!

Beautiful are the star like eyes
Deeper than deepest ocean,
Ocean of feelings and love,
Beautiful is that motherly heart!

Beautiful woman thy beauty is thy compassion,
Thy beauty is in patience and knowledge,
Thy beauty lies in flowerless lips with precious smile,

Beautiful woman, most abstract beauty,
Not that beauty felt by eyes
Nor that skin or hair,
Not that grace or style, beautiful woman,
you are the beauty!

Beautiful woman!
thy beauty shines
Moon in star studded sky,
Thy beauty flashes with every turn of your neck to the call of child,
like plant swing with
perfumed flower in the garden

When that beauty of heart beautifully expressed!
Where her beauty lies,
Is it in her body or mind,
Or is it in her heart soft and kind?
Who wants to get stick or bind,
That's why women race fast leaving wondering men behind!

Beautiful Me

They look at my dark complexion and they laugh.
But that don’t bother me.
For I’m beautiful.
Beautiful me.

I love my wide nose,
and thick lips.
I’m beautiful.
Beautiful me.

Now, my hips are wide,
and I got a lot of junk in my trunk.
But I’m beautiful.
Beautiful me.

My hair may be coarse,
And my breast are not enhance.
But I’m still beautiful.
Beautiful me.

So they may point, and laugh if they want too.
They may even call me names because of my
dark skin. I won’t cry because beauty is in
the eye of the beholder. And in my eyes
I’m beautiful.
Beautiful me.

a friend from Utah

she finally finds her way in Utah
watching the sunset there on a desert

she sent me a letter telling me that she never saw such a beautiful sunset
as that
in Utah but i was not really amazed with what she thinks she saw as beauty
because i still believe
that beauty still lies to the beholden
(i know you may think i am wrong, you think of the
beholder

a cliche of the almost forgotten)

but that is not really the point
that is,
a dog must know the hands of the person who feeds it
and wag its tail
to manifest gratitude and
admiration

what amazes me still is the last poem she sent me while i also watch
the most beautiful sunset at the Dipolog Boulevard

she says she has nothing to prove to herself
she burns everything
she is finally quitting and whatever that means i refuse to make any
conclusion

i still love it here because it is home and i too agree, i have nothing to prove
to myself
or anybody else, alien or otherwise

Finding beauty

Is Beauty like pornography?
-identified by sight.
Is the 'eye of the beholder' school
the one that got it right?

For them a pleasing symmetry,
of eyes, lips, breasts and hips
is ample justification
to launch a thousand ships.

For them beauty is genetic,
gifted by heredity
you get it from your parents-
much like their insanity.

For most, its unattainable-
that certain je ne sais quoit-
Still women spend a fortune
on beauty in a jar.

Lust for curves? -drive the Taconic
or the Pacific Coast Highway.
They both boast scenic beauty
and have fewer tolls to pay.

Instead seek beauty in her eyes,
the mirror of her soul.
For they will remain beautiful
as together you grow old

Beauty Of Eternal Truth!

Beauty radiated from eternal
Truth,
reflected in beholder's eyes,
Beholder's eyes are eyes of
eternal,
Empyreal looking at corporeal beauty,
Through mortal eyes,
Creator appreciating His creation
through,
Another creation,
Without which beauty has no admirer!

A True Beauty

Beauty is in the eyes
of the beholder'
goes the old saying.

But true beauty
comes from within
an aura seen even
with closed eyes.

True beauty transcends
beyond physical limits
a sense of confidence
and faith in one self

True beauty is priceless
no equivalent in value
except for happiness
no money can buy

Do not ever regret
being not handsome
or beautiful in appearance
for true beauty overrules

I see two blondes

I see two blondes
that’s sitting next to each other
and they are watching me covertly.

The one looks soft and fine and beautiful,
as if she’s really pretty
and the others voice is screeching
and she’s got a hooked nose
and dark brown eyes,
that is to near to each other.

Her hair is getting thin
as if she’s loosing it
and she answers her cell phone.

The phone is on speaker
and a formidable man talks to her,
as if she’s the most beautiful
of all women
and I realise that beauty
lies in the eye
of the beholder.

If Only I Could Write A Beautiful Poem

If only I could write a beautiful love poem
I would write it special and only to you
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
So that we will forever remain so very very true
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
With more than a goodness like something new
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
Like the everlasting stay of the sky so blue
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
I would pray to God
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
I would work very hard for the Lord
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
With happiness the remain all through the year
f only I could write a beautiful love poem
Knowing that you will be very near
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
One so very very true
If only I could write a beautiful love poem
I would write it just for you

Salma Hayek

People often say that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves.

Skipover

Skip over
Not advisable
To reach conclusion.
In the conclusion
One may miss beauty.
Beauty lies in the eyes
Of the beholder though.
In this process
Joy pleasure sadness
Confusion awe fear
Disgust beauty and
Sublime evoked.

I Said ' When I Grow Old

I SAID, ‘WHEN I GROW OLD’

I said,
‘When I grow old
My poem will not be
a sad poem'-
My poem will be a poem
In memory
Of all the good I have known in my life-
Now I am old
And my poem is of pain and sadness also-
But the poem of gladness
The song of my soul
The poem of joy
Remains.
Oh how beautiful this life can be
When walking and singing free
Night is a reverie.

The Beauty in Us All

We all are beautiful inside,
Some just tend to think it isn’t so,
But where would all the beauty go?
We all have something interesting,
That is piercing to the soul,
So don’t doubt,
What your life is all about,
‘Cause beauty comes from the beholder's eye,
And not the accuser’s lips,
Because as it turns out,
That is what beauty’s all about,
The true beauty,
Is nothing but you.

Words of love

Sea never dries
The truth never dies
As it has been
Let it be
For it was meant to be

My love for you is forever
Birds of the same feathers
Flock together
So shall we share
The same love together

For what God has patten together
Let no man put asunder
Truly beauty lies
On the eyes of the beholder

From the very moment
I saw you
I knew it was you
And truly, it is you

When i look in your eyes
You are full of passion
You are loving and curing
Full of passion
What i have for you
Is love and affection

If Beauty Was Earned

If beauty was earned by caring,
you could not be more beautiful.
If beauty was earned by strength of spirit,
you could not be more beautiful.
If beauty was earned by generosity,
you could not be more beautiful.
If beauty was earned by quiet introspection,
you could not be more beautiful.
If beauty was earned by joy,
you could not be more beautiful.
If beauty was earned by unselfish love,
you could not be more beautiful.
If beauty was earned by the light behind your eyes,
you could not be more beautiful to me.

Imagination

On all the empty
Walls of my home
I’ve put posters
Through my eyes
So that wherever
I see...I see only you.

Even though
You are nowhere
There...with me,
But I am with you.

Sonnet: What Isn’t Beautiful?

What is not beautiful? What isn’t ugly?
’Tis the beholder who decides ably!
Beauty is not just color or contour;
’Tis the perception of the gray-matter!

To appreciate you need two things unlike;
Beauty exists even if you dislike;
Beauty is there in both white and in black;
There is true of Nature, when you think back.

Beautiful’s the wisdom of the old man,
And the silver hair of the old woman;
There is much beauty even in a thorn!
And the wildest flower that you scorn.

Things in Nature have an innate beauty!
Appreciation, our bounden duty.
