Tongue - a variety of meat, rarely served because it clearly crosses the line between a cut of beef and a piece of dead cow.

So what did you bring
We got the beef

Yeah, we got it
(we got the beef)
Now, everybody get on your feet (we got the beef)
Grab a hunk of ? ? ? beef (we got the beef)

Another Piece of Juicy Meat to Satisfy Me!
Don't fiddle with my love,
Or heartstrings.
To pluck them to get heated.
Then to walk out on a chemistry...
Just to get some empathy.
If you leave me with a final sting...
I could not forgive or forget,
Who did the giving.
And who will not be getting it!
I'm about to make up my mind...
I can get another to appreciate me!
I'm about to go out and find...
Another piece of juicy meat I know I'll love to eat!
A piece of juicy meat that's not a big tease.
Don't fiddle with my love,
Or heartstrings.
To pluck them to get heated.
Then to walk out on a chemistry!
Don't fiddle with my love,
Or heartstrings.
Just to get some empathy.
You wont get that not from me!
If you leave me with a final sting...
I could not forgive or forget,
Who did the giving.
And who will not be getting it!
I'm about to make up my mind...
I can get another to appreciate me!
I'm about to go and find...
Another piece of juicy meat to please all my needs!
Another piece of juicy meat to please all my needs!
Another piece of juicy meat to satisfy me!
Don'tcha know,
I'm about to make up my mind...
I can get another to appreciate me!
I'm about to go and find...
Another piece of juicy meat to please all my needs!
Another piece of juicy meat to please all my needs!
Another piece of juicy meat to satisfy me!
I'm about to make up my mind...
I can get another knowing,
What appreciation means!
I'm about to make up my mind...
I can get another to appreciate me!
Another piece of juicy meat to please all my needs!
Another piece of juicy meat to please all my needs!
Another piece of juicy meat to satisfy me!
Another piece of juicy meat to give up my seed.

Another Piece Of Meat
Music :rudolf schenker, herman rarebell
Lyrics:herman rarebell
Met her down at that tokyo place
Loved her pretty face
I said: hey, youre alright, so alright!
I was sitting in her car
She told me: youre a star and I know you.
She said: take me home.
I need love so strong
Come on and knock me out, oh!
Ive been too long alone
I want hot love, you know, and I need it now!
She said: hey, lets go, dont put on a show
Youre just another piece, another piece of meat
She said: hey, lets go, dont put on a show
Youre just another piece --
Another piece of meat.
Next day she took me out
To a rough kick boxing show
Violence really turned her on, oh no
She was screaming for more blood
Loved it more than any drug I couldnt stand it
I said: hey, lets go, dont put on a show
Youre just another piece, another piece of meat
Said: hey, lets go, dont put on a show
Youre just another piece --
Another piece of meat.

The tongue is the worst piece of meat in the world.

For Molly, Concerning God
Is God the one who eats the meat
off the bones of dead people?
-Molly Miranda Jong-Fast, age 3 1/2
God is the one,
Molly,
whether we call him
Him,
or Her,
treeform or spewing
volcano,
Vesuvius or vulva,
penis-rock,
or reindeer-on-cave-wall,
God is the one
who eats
our meat,
Molly,
& we yield
our meat
up willingly.
Meat is our
element,
meat is our
lesson.
When our bodies fill
with each other,
when our blood swells
in our organs
aching for another,
body of meat,
heart of meat,
soul of meat,
we are only doing
what God wants
us to—
meat joining meat
to become insubstantial air,
meat fusing
with meat
to make
a small wonder
like you.
The wonder of you
is that you push
our questions
along into
the future—
so that I know
again
the wonder of meat
through you,
the wonder of meat
turning to philosophy,
the wonder of meat
transubstantiated
into poetry,
the wonder of
sky-blue meat
in your roundest eyes,
the wonder of
dawn-colored meat
in your cheeks & palms,
the wonder of meat
becoming
air.
You
are my theorem,
my proof,
my meaty metaphysics,
my little questioner,
my small Socrates
of the nursery-schoolyard.
To think that
such wonder
can come from meat!
Well then,
if God is hungry—
let Him eat,
let Her eat.

Dead Meat
The hangmans noose wont get me
Gas chambers never stress me
The can line me up against the wall
No firing squad will make me
Confess or even break me
Ill stand alone or not at all
I will not obey
I will not betray
I will not give in
Not while Im living
No surrender
We never will surrender
We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed
No shackles made will chain me
No endless pain will change me
The scars will testify this all
No solitary confinement
Will break my strong resignment
Ill die before I will conform
I will not obey
I will not betray
I will not give in
Not while Im living
No surrender
Therell never be surrender
We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed
Read in my obituary
Defiance breeds victory
No cage they make can hold me
No law enforced controls me
No trap thats sprung stops me for long
No prison cell contains me
No snare they set will claim me
Relentlessly Ill fight them all
I will not obey
I will not betray
I will not give in
Not while Im living
No surrender
We never will
Be driven asunder
No surrender
We never will
Raise the white flag
We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed
We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed
Indoctrination
Will never
Suppress me
Theyre seriously mistaken
Cause Ill take them
Down with me
And just before theyre finished
Theyll scream along with me
We are all dead meat

The River
The river that crosses the high plain like
an artery has only muddy water since it
didn´t rain in the summer.
Wild horses and donkeys come here to
drink, but often they look up and scan
the horizon weary of man and his dogs.
They served mankind for thousands of
years but with modern farming methods
they are no longer needed and have gone
feral. Free now, but freedom comes at
a prize, winter can be hard and often they
are hunted by sportsmen who kill for fun.
By the mountain there is a corral but only
the stupid and sick go there, the rest know
they are fattened up and used as sausage
meat, which the town uphill is famous for.
Every Octobers there is a gigantic party in
the hill town, beer is senselessly drunk and
tons of sausages eaten, the river, that crosses
the plain, becomes a putrid pool of human
waste till winter rain falls and clears it away.

One Meat Ball
(l. singer-h.zaret)
The little man walked up and down
To find an eating place in town
He read the menu through and through
To see what fifteen cents could do
One meat ball, one meat ball
Well, he could afford but one meat ball
He told the waiter near at hand
A simple dinner he had planned
The guests were startled one and all to hear
That waiter loudly call
One meat ball, one meat ball
Well, this here gent wants one meat ball
Little man felt very bad
One meat ball was all he had
And in his dreams he hears that call
Ya gets no bread with one meat ball
One meat ball, one meat ball
Well, you get no bread with one meat ball
Well, he could afford but one meat ball
One meat ball, one meat ball
All he could afford was one meat ball
One meat ball

Too Raw To Eat
Picked over like a piece of meat
Nibbled and a little bit uneasy
Difficult it is to please
Somebody who prefers
The taste of cake
Without the cheese
Picked over like forbidden fruit
From a garden stomped over with people
I want to be the one who leaves
A deliciousness to tease
But I've been regarded
Too raw to eat.
Picked over like a piece of meat
Nibbled and a little bit uneasy
Difficult it is to please
Somebody who prefers
The taste of cake
Without the cheese
Picked over like forbidden fruit
From a garden stomped over with people
I want to be the one who leaves
A deliciousness to tease
But I've been regarded
Too raw to eat
Picked over like a piece of meat
But I've been regarded
Too raw to eat
Picked over like a piece of meat
But I've been regarded
Too raw to eat
Picked over like a piece of meat
But I have been regarded
Too raw to eat

Even the thinnest piece of meat will happily marry a piece of bread.
Around The Island
the trip around the island
takes us a day
it is dark and we are back
at this beach resort
lighted by shells and
torches
dinner is served
prawns, and crabs
and some lamb's meat
from the farm
and some slices of
pineapple
again, so sweet
to my tongue
crunchy to my teeth
beside you
the music from the sea
the breeze plays our songs
of silence
that only our eyes speak

A Few Easy Pieces
Piece of this
piece of that
Peace and bliss,
Piece of crap
Peace of mind,
Piece of cake,
piece of work
Piece of steak,
Piece of eight
Piece of the action
Piece of the pie
Peace and satisfaction
Piece in the valley
Piece of glass
piece of my mind
Piece of a….
That’s quite enough now! ! !
Let’s quit this dance
Let’s stop while we’re ahead…
Let’s Give peace a chance

Hunger is a fine sauce
Nature intended me to be
an omnivore: That’s what I am.
I will make no apology
because I enjoy beef and lamb.
Though others may have different views.
I find no cause for argument
if they enjoy their meatless stews.
A vegetarian precedent.
I do as nature bids me to
I eat what is available
and feel no guilt because I do.
Eat meat and fish and vegetables.
We have no choice we have to eat
I see no fault in eating meat.

So What Are You Saying?
I am emotionally distraught.
But I will get over my anxieties.
'Good.'
What do you mean, 'Good'.
Aren't you going to express,
Some kind of empathy?
Some kind of emotional attachment?
'What did you expect?
Weeping?
Or a prolong sympathetic eulogy,
For the attempt you are making...
To escape a near death experience? '
Well...
Yes! Something close that shows,
I am more to you than a piece of meat!
'It's like this...
When that piece of meat heals.
And is ready for my tenderizing?
I'll toss in an ember or two in that flame.'
So what are you saying?
'When the meal is ready and prepared the way I like it...
I'll show more interest.
But I'm not accepting anything leftover that has occured,
Over and over and over to leave it tasteless!
That's what I'm saying! '

A Piece Of You
Im just trying to live this life of mine
The more I look, the more Im blind
And all I ask for is piece of mind
And all I want is a piece of you
Well I lost my way today
Back home from work
The snow fell like dust
I felt like dirt
Happens everytime I start to search
For that long lost piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you
It seems the last time I was sure
Of anything
I sold my heart
I wore your ring
But now, the queen has lost her king
All I want is a piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you
A piece of you

Living Within Reduced Means
Variety may be the spice of life...
For those who can choose,
Whether or not...
To have beans and rice,
With a taste for steak.
Thawing to roast and bake,
In a pre-heated oven.
Some today see variety as a luxury.
And preparing rice and beans,
Has become a daily ritual.
Since fixed budgets,
Have arrived on their scenes.
Living within reduced means,
Is a reality for many that has demeaned.
And those still fortunate to have variety,
In their lives...
Stretch limited paychecks,
Realizing they have no idea...
What each day to them brings next.
Yet hopeful they are,
What is enjoyed today for them stays.
At least until that steak that thaws,
Is cooked.
And delivered in a presentation,
That is well done with vegetables...
Dripping deliciously and sautéed.
As seen in gourmet cookbooks.
And leftovers are as appreciated...
Without getting a dirty look.
From someone who believes...
An abundance of choices,
Will remain to feed their greed.
And prayers received are answered,
That returns them to an accustomed...
Feast of gluttony.
Without the fears of retribution,
That the stolen beef they eat...
Will not be taken from them by other thieves.

Trade You Lay
Don't get me started.
No don't get me started.
Don't get me started,
Don't!
You tell me for you I am the one,
But if I was younger...
I'd be fun.
But don't get me started.
Don't.
You want a poppa and a friend.
To toy around in your play pen.
Don't get me started.
Don't get me started,
Don't get me started,
Don't!
Because...
I refuse to be,
A piece of trade you lay.
I'm not that way.
No I...
Refuse to be,
Treated like a piece of meat!
Not today.
Don't get me started.
Don't get me started,
Don't get me started,
Don't!
Don't get me started.
Don't get me started,
Don't get me started,
Don't!
I...
Refuse to be,
Treated like a piece of meat.
Or a trade you lay.
Trade you lay.
Trade you lay.

Bleeding Rose
her beauty flourished watching her grow
but time has taken it’s toll
dead silence grows for the bleeding rose
yet a piece of her is left in my soul
a symbol of love that I should know
bleeding rose is just a blur
for the bleeding rose, dead silence grows
left in my soul is a piece of her
symbol of love where petals aglow
so time has passed as a blink
dead silence grows for the bleeding rose
gone is the rose as it makes me think
the sight of the rose breeds thoughts of you
knowing your soul is now dead
for the bleeding rose, dead silence grows
now you're gone as the rose was once red
