TV Memories
There was ‘Rainbow' featuring Zippy, George and Bungle,
And quiz show, ‘On Safari', which was set in the jungle.
There was ‘Mr Benn' in his black suit and bowler hat,
And ‘Postman Pat', along with Jess, his beloved cat.
There was ‘Pitkins', ‘Fingerbobs' and ‘Hector's House',
And fearless, crime-fighting rodent, ‘Dangermouse'.
There was Crystal Tipps and her dog, Alistair,
And the marmalade-loving, ‘Paddington Bear'.
There was ‘Jim'll Fix It', where dreams came true,
‘A Handful of Songs' and ‘Why Don't You? '
There was ‘Mary, Mungo and Midge' living in a flat,
Gordon the Gopher, and superstar, Roland the Rat.
There was ‘Rupert The Bear' and ‘Sally And Jake',
And ‘Blue Peter', which featured things to make.
There was ‘Andy Pandy' and friend, Looby-Loo,
‘Bagpuss', ‘Barnaby' and the cosmic ‘Button Moon'.
There was ‘Playdays', ‘Playschool' and ‘Playaway',
And spiders, Itsy and Bitsy helped host ‘Paperplay'.
There were flowerpots inhabited by ‘Bill and Ben',
And we experienced various moods of the ‘Mr Men'.
There was ‘Superted', ‘Noddy' and ‘Rentaghost',
And ‘Emu's World', with Rod Hull as the host.
There was ‘Trumpton', ‘Chigley', and ‘Camberwick Green',
And ‘Wombles' in Wimbledon keeping the Common clean.
There was ‘Basil Brush', ‘The Smurfs' and ‘Captain Pugwash',
And Lady Penelope of ‘Thunderbirds', who was really posh.
‘The Magic Roundabout', had a theme tune which was merry.
There was ‘Rugrats', ‘Penelope Pitstop' and ‘Tom And Jerry'.
As children, we watch TV, and many characters, we befriend,
But as we grow up, those special relationships come to an end.
Even as adults, those carefree days we will never ever forget;
We will always remember the fun we had, and the people we met.

High Price
Jerry Jerry your lifestyles hairy
how do your dope plants grow?
In cramped ceiling, under a naked bulb, my lady,
from little seeds all in a row.
Jerry Jerry your rather smelly
how are your dope plants sold?
By bountiful bagful, or in single rolls, to tally
Waitangi gold, is a trip, for joint discerning bold.
Jerry Jerry do you live in fear
do you feel hunted, with pouncing, policemen near?
The boys in blue, dance a merry, merry tune.
What’s a bust, may come yearly, like June?
Jerry Jerry one day all grow old
will you feel regret, for lives, you’ve sold?
I’ve been living high, flying in narcotic, sky seat.
Life’s been so very sweet, living with prepaid, heat.
Jerry Jerry a future comes, your days done,
there’s no place for you, under our sun?
There’s always a place, man in selective, supplying know.
There’re other trips, after poppy seeds, to sow.
Jerry Jerry it’s time now, you must go
tell of other pastures, you now will hoe?
Man’s full of lust, greed, ever fertile seed,
a high paying price, is charge for need.
No matter where man chance may roam.
A place is found, I’m right at home.

The Hen and the Wren
The lovely, laying hen said to the itsy-bitsy wren.
'Good morning. It's nice to see you now and then.'
The itsy-bitsy wren said, 'Thank you Mrs. Hen.
I haven't seen you for awhile and don't remember when.'
The laying hen said to the itsy-bitsy wren, 'If you recall,
The last time we were together was a bit before last fall.'
The wren smiled and said, 'Oh yes I should have guessed.
It's spring again so I'm back to build another nest.'
The hen said, 'Soon we both will be sitting on our eggs.
Not long after that there'll be babies ‘neath our legs.'
The itsy-bitsy wren said, 'I wish my eggs weren't so small.
Your eggs are so large that your babies will be tall.'
Well the lovely laying hen said, 'Your eggs are just right.
And that song you sing brings everyone delight.'
From spring to fall wherever hens and wrens reside,
There'll be nests, eggs and babies chirping far and wide.

Mood Colours
At times, we describe our moods in colours
that pass by our eyes each day.
There are our blue moods,
those when we are down.
Then there are our red moods
whenever our temper flares.
Our black moods are colourless
and the most dangerous of them all.
Our sunshine moods are when the world is golden
and smiles are all we see.
Pink shades our loving moods
and to the world, we show we care
as our love shines through.
Our moods can change quickly
as we pass through the rainbow spectrum
within our daily lives.

When We Meet Again
When we meet again
Springtime is here, and the wind from the south
Blows strong and warm to clean out your house
The sun has arisen and the lies that were told are
Driven outside with the freezing cold
I can remember a spring just like this
I was 19 yrs. old
Now the time is sorely missed
The first year that I left my mothers house
Out to make my way in this world somehow
I cant believe how the times they have changed
All the dreams that came true still seem so far away
I remember the days sittin on the front porch with
The sun beatin down in my neighborhood
Id sit out all night singin songs to the moon
Or try and get some sweet honey back to my bedroom
My friends they were few but to me they were true
All we was trying to do was just to make it thru
Always thought for the future, but we shouldnt have cared
All the best things in life we shared them right there
So to all those old friend God be with them
I wish, I wish I could see you again
In the same corner bar where it all started from
Dig your plow so deep now the stars have all gone
So wherever they shine may it be warm and bright
Out to ease my mind on this worried night
It all seemed so simple and good tidings I send
Ill never forget that one year that we spent

Renda Writer - Colors
Mismanagement damages the fabrics
Woven by the chosen few
The pointing finger chose you
Red light special
Code blue
Blue light special
Red light
Stop
Green go
Green money
Green grasso
Green leaves
Then the green leaves
Unless we start living green
Green seems
To be common
The common theme
The common ground
Is color
We're all brothers from another mother smothered by
The sun and the sky
Everything under the sun has not yet been done
And why?

Spiders In The Night
Spiders in the night
Creeping round the walls
Now you'll feel him
Crawling over you
Creepy crawly things
Filling up your bed
Soon you'll feel him
Crawling through your brains
You think he's there
Beware his bite
But when you look
The spider's not in sight
Spiders reappear
Taking peoples names
Everything is taken down insane
There's no way out
And there's no key
But here's a clue
The spider's really me
You're written in his book
The spider won't forget
You won't forget
The spiders in the night
The end is going night
Itsy witsy friends
The spiders disappearing from the night
You think he's gone
You think he's dead
There's no escape
The spiders in your head
All the spiders in the night
All the spiders in the night
All the spiders in the night

That's What I Think
Sometimes I think
things are overwhelming
sometimes I think
I don't know what I'll do
but I forget the world
and everything around me
that's what I think
when I think about you
The streets are filled
with too many babies
black air in a sky of blue
people pass by
no life in their eyes
the concrete jungle's
really going crazy
Sometimes I think
things are overwhelming...
The rent is due
and the pockets are empty
people ask machines
for the truth
no crystal ball
can help see it all
but where we gonna find
the dreams to feed the babies
Baby life goes on
that's what people say
but I'm nowhere
if you go away
I'd just be looking
for a brighter day
Sometimes I think
things are overwhelming...
what can I do
forget about the world
and everything around me
that's what I think
when I think about you

Do You Love Your Children
Father do you love your children
I heard you do
But father will you help your children
We need you to
It could be worse I know its true
But only if we plan
La la la lady mary... its time to show your hand
La la la lady mary... and make a few demands
Children do you hope that someone
Is watching you
But do you feel the need for someone
I know I do
I think about it constantly
We really arent that wise
La la la lady mary... open up our eyes
La la la lady mary... and make us realize
First I have a question
(do you love us)
I would like to know
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Yes we really need to know
(do you love us)
I think the time has come for you to show
(do you love us)
(do you love us) (do you love us)
(do you love us)(do you love us)
(do you love us) (do you love us)
(do you love us)
Mother, do you love your children
I know you do
But mother do you know your children
Will poison you
The answer does not seem too clear
We look so hard ourselves
La la la lady mary... put your books back on the shelf
La la la lady mary... and save us from ourselves
First I have a question
(do you love us)
I would like to know
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Do you love your children
(do you love us)
Yes we really need to know
(do you love us)
I think the time has come for you to show
(do you love us)
(do you love us) (do you love us)
(do you love us)(do you love us)
(do you love us) (do you love us)

To A Special Friend
To a special friend that helped me during my darkest days.
To a special friend that showed me that loves comes in many ways.
To a special friend that is able to understand my grueling pain.
To a special friend that helped me find all my lost remains.
To a special friend that showed me the light.
To a special friend that fought by my side when I couldnt handle the fight.
To a special friend that helped me stand on the days I fell apart.
To a special friend that healed this torn heart.
For all the peace you brought me.
For all the love you gave me.
For the hand you have given me.
For the courage you gave me to live another day
To that special friend that helped me realized the truth
I say Thank You..
True Colors
Features babyface
You with the sad eyes
Dont be discouraged
Oh I realize
Its hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness, inside you
Can make you feel so small
But I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And thats why I love you
So dont be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow
Show me a smile then,
Dont be unhappy, cant remember
When I last saw you laughing
If this world makes you crazy
And youve taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know Ill be there
And Ill see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And thats why I love you
So dont be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Like a rainbow
[intru part]
So sad eyes
Discouraged now
Realize
When this world makes you crazy
And youve taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know Ill be there
And Ill see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And thats why I love you
So dont be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors, true colors
Cos theres a shining through
I see your true colors
And thats why I love you
So dont be afraid to let them show
Your true colors, true colors
True colors are beautiful,
Beautiful, like a rainbow

George Of The Jungle
George, george, george of the jungle
Strong as he can be
Ahhh
Watch out for that tree
George, george, george of the jungle
Lives a life thats free
Ahhh
Watch out for that tree
When he gets in scrapes
When he makes his escapes
With the help of his friend
An ape named ape
Then away hell schlep
On his elephant shep
While fella and ursula
Stay in step with
George, george, george of the jungle
Friend to you and me
Ahhh
Watch out for that tree
Watch out for that (ahhh) (oooh) tree

Our Lady
MOTHER of God! no lady thou:
Common woman of common earth
Our Lady ladies call thee now,
But Christ was never of gentle birth;
A common man of the common earth.
For God’s ways are not as our ways:
The noblest lady in the land
Would have given up half her days,
Would have cut off her right hand,
To bear the child that was God of the land.
Never a lady did He choose,
Only a maid of low degree,
So humble she might not refuse
The carpenter of Galilee:
A daughter of the people, she.
Out she sang the song of her heart.
Never a lady so had sung.
She knew no letters, had no art;
To all mankind, in woman’s tongue,
Hath Israelitish Mary sung.
And still for men to come she sings,
Nor shall her singing pass away.
‘He hath fillàd the hungry with good things’—
O listen, lords and ladies gay!—
‘And the rich He hath sent empty away.’

A Teddy Bear Is Forever
There’s a spot in the garden of childhood,
That children and adults can share;
A place in the heart and memory,
For one’s very own stuffed teddy bear.
Now, a little girl’s dolls will get broken,
And a little boy’s kites fly away,
But a soft, cuddly teddy’s forever,
When we’ve gotten too grownup to play.
And a young lady’s dreams may be dampened,
And a man sees his plans go astray,
But a teddy bear kept from our childhood,
Through life’s troubles will faithfully stay.
For whether it’s kept in a bookcase,
Or lying on top of one’s bed,
A teddy bear waits for it’s owner,
With eyes wide awake in it’s head.
And if all the world’s children were given,
The gift of a soft teddy bear,
We should see their glad faces,
Reflecting love and goodwill everywhere.

If Children Ruled The World
If Children Ruled The World,
Parents, Adults and Teachers will go to bed at 8: 00
and wake up at 7: 00 to dress up for school.
At school children will treat them like nothing,
and Parents, Adults and Teachers will have nothing to do or say.
In the morning at school, they would have to line up like chrildrens used to do like every single mornings.
If Children Ruled The World,
Lollies will be for everyone even adults and parents.
Parents and Adults will have such awful rotten teeth just like all children used to have in their teeths.
Every mornings right after adults brushes their teeths or hairs, the children would have to check if their hairs and teeths are alright.
In School Trips children goes for free but the adults has to always pay.
If Children Ruled The World,
the world wou; d be treated badly.
The children would be rich and adults would be poor and always ask for children for some money.
There will be no clean water,
No food for the adults to eat except lollies.
If Children Ruled The World,
WE'LL ALL BE IN A JAM!

Pandy Fackler
Pandy Fackler was a working girl
Living alone in another world
Of picket fences and a white faade
Sucking dicks under the Promenade
She was almost in a coma - from doing the Bossa Nova
And the Funky Cold Medina - man, I wish you coulda seen her
Poor little Pandy is doing the best she can
Eating cotton candy from the garbage can
First to come and the last to go
I met her backstage after the 2nd show
Two lonely people on a summer night
We weren't in love but it was still alright
I held her close and she squeezed me tight - my Pandy!

Some Considerations
Consider this world and also our place in it
and know that time passes by every minute.
Consider those who’re living and also the dead
and know of the ways people earn their bread.
We consider many things but few are of real importance
and know that all those which are not are in abundance.
In consideration of this what can anyone do?
but live one’s life in a way which is true.
Consider the flowers in the garden and the colours they show
and know that with tender loving care from a seed they grow.
Consider all the children somewhere and watch them play
and know that with laughter and fun most pass the day.
Consider the things which are false and those which are true
and know how each one can and does affect all that we do.
In consideration of this what can we all do?
but try and live in a way which is just true.
Consider the march of the spirit of progress and the direction we’re all going
and know that every so often we must turn around and look back knowing.
Consider that which we all know and also that which we do not
and know it’s but knowledge and ignorance that make up the lot.
Consider the beginning and that of the very end
and know it’s terrible to get there without a friend.
In consideration of this what can one do?
but go through life with a friend who’s true.
Consider about each day and then also about each night
and know that without them there’s no darkness or light.
Consider the sunshine and also the shade
and know that with them each day is made.
Consider the evening and also the time we sleep
and know that because of them the night is deep.
In consideration of this what is there to do?
but live one day at a time and remember too.
Consider that which seems right and also what appears wrong
and know that they are both attributes of the weak and strong.
Consider the past and the future and of course the present
and know that all life relates to them and is not an accident.
Consider the labour with the crops and also the extent of the field
and know that with care and nature’s help a rich harvest will yield.
In consideration of this what is there one must do?
but only the best that one can so as to get through.
Consider what people give and also what they do take
and know that between them both much trouble make.
Consider all that which brings sorrow and all that brings joy
and know that both in life are really like an inevitable decoy.
Consider the things we believe in and those worthy to fight for
and know that there are some things in life people die or kill for.
In consideration of this whatever we all say and do
should be in harmony with life which considers us too.
Consider the reality of God and the mysteries of Divine grace and love
and know that without them from certain things we couldn’t rise above.
Consider the relationships of people as that of husband and wife
and know that around them we build society and organise our life.
Consider what people need apart from their desires and obsessions
and know that of things acquired many are unnecessary possessions.
In consideration of this it’s fairly obvious to say
that most of us have a lot and give so little away.
Consider our obligations to each other and individual human rights
and know that it’s neglect and selfishness which start all the fights.
Consider the alternative to any situation we may now find ourselves in
and know that through adversity and struggle we can succeed and win.
Consider the time it takes to go somewhere and then again to return
and know that it’s the distance between them we must cover to learn.
In consideration of this we’ll need all the help we can get
and be willing to act on advice which will cause no regret.

Three Button Hand Me Down
(rod stewart, ian mclagen)
I dont need no ones opinion
On the matter concerning my dress.
I was raised in a clinic down in oklahoma,
There were many things I did not possess.
Well I never complained, because my father said,
Son you get your chance before youre my age.
Then he took me upstairs and gave me this suit
(? ) written all over his face
He said, others may come and others may go,
But that suit will be around wherever youre goin
Three button hand me down
Three button hand me down
Hold on a minute
Now I had my fair share of neat women,
But they came between me and my suit.
That was a filly from boston, a barmaid from houston,
Not forgetting the one in detroit.
They said, we like you boy and we think youre sweet,
But cant you lose your suit?
I said, nononono, you cant do that to me
I remember what my father said:
He said, others may come and others may go,
But that suit will be around wherever youre goin
Three button hand me down, ha ha,
Three button hand me down
Ive never been a tidy dresser
And the fold in my trousers it aint straight.
Still I know a good cloth when I see one.
Thats why Im clad in this gray flannel suit.
Sometimes I wonder if I should visit a tailor
And get myself a smooth outfit.
Then I remember what my father said to me.
I make it from the open road, you all know this
He said, others may come and others may go,
But that suit will be around wherever you go
Three button hand me down,
Three button hand me down, ha ha

This Ones For The Children
This is a very serious message so all of you please listen.
There are some people living in this world
They have no food to eat
They have no place to go
But we all are gods children
Weve got to learn to love one another
Just remember, they could be us
Remember, we all are brothers
Im not trying to darken up your day
But help others in need
And show them theres a better way
This ones for the children
The children of the world
This ones for the children
May God keep them in his throne
Many people are happy
And many people are sad
Some people have many things
That others can only wish they had
So for the sake of the children
Show them loves the only way to go
cause they are tomorrow and people, theyve got to know
Im not trying to darken up your day
But help others in need
And show them theres a better way
This ones for the children
The children of the world
This ones for the children
May God keep them in his throne
This ones for the children
The children of the world
This ones for the children
May God keep them in his throne

What Exactly Is A Friend?
Could you answer this question?
What exactly is a friend?
Is it someone who’s there for you?
Until the very end
Maybe it takes someone special
Somebody brave and kind
What if it’s someone clever?
Somebody pure of mind
A friend is strong and caring
A friend you are to me
A friend is someone thoughtful
A friend is you, you see.
You’ve helped me to see the beauty,
That’s present in every star
I think you’ve really helped me,
One day you will go far
You’ve put a smile on my face,
And helped when I was sad
You’ve been here through everything
Even when things were bad
A friend is always there for you
A friend through thick and thin
A friend is a form of angel
To solve every problem you’re in
Friendship alone is difficult
But two can make it strong
When friends are very close
You really can’t go wrong
Loving you is easy
I promise what I say is true
If you hadn’t come to Carrie’s
There’d be no me and you.
I love my best friend dearly
She makes everything okay
Without my sister in my life
I wouldn’t last a day.
