Chanel (Cat Poem)
She was an adorable cat, of whom I was really rather fond.
Over time, with each other, we formed a really special bond.
To become perfect pals, I guess we both made a choice.
I would sit, and speak softly to her, in a low, gentle voice.
For me, I always hoped that she would sit and wait;
That she’d sit, waiting patiently, by her garden gate.
If she was there, with joy, I could feel my heart lift,
But, if there was no sign of her, I felt a little miffed.
Placing her paws upon my bended knees, she’d gaze into my eyes.
Sometimes, she’d touch her nose to mine, which gave me a surprise.
Whenever she did this, feeling taken aback, I would, happily, laugh,
But I felt a little shy, if someone then came walking along the path.
She would purr contentedly, as by her side, I knelt.
Inside, I could physically feel all my tension melt.
With her, I would always spend a little while.
Being in her company, always made me smile.
Being with her, I felt happy, and all day, I could have stayed,
And it was with much difficulty, that I pulled myself away.
But what people thought of me, I didn’t really worry.
To leave Chanel’s side, I was never in too much hurry.
A more loving cat, I have never ever known.
A cat like her, I would simply love to own.
Chanel was the most adorable cat, who I ever met,
And that special little cat, I will never ever forget.

Old Bob
I guess folks think I'm mighty dumb
Since Jack and Jim and Joe
Have hit the trail to Kingdom Come
And left me here below:
Since Death, the bastard, bowled them out,
And left me faced with--Doubt.
My pals have all passed out on me
And I am by my lone;
Old Bill was last, and now I see
His name cut on a stone;
A marble slab, but not as fine
As I have picked for mine.
I nurse and curse rheumatic pain
As on the porch I sit;
With nothing special in my brain
I rock and smoke and spit:
When one is nearing to the end
One sorely needs a friend.
My Pals have gone,--in God's good earth
I guess they're packed up snug,
And since I have no guts for mirth
I zipper to my mug:
The question that I ponder on
Is--where the heck they've gone?

You And Me
Baby you know that theres no choice
Im tired of hearing my own voice
We cant live on love alone
To find some work Ill have to leave our home
And I know that things look desperate now
But stand by me well get through somehow
* ooh when you touch me it all fades away
Ooh when you hold me Ill make it through another day
Winters here and its looking bleak
The snow is falling as we speak
And can we cut back a little more
Something will turn up Im really sure
So please darlin keep your faith in me
Ill make it good you wait and see
* repeat
Its so special, oh so special
cos theres always you and me
And we stand alone with our love
So strong, bold and free
Its so special, oh so special
You cant take that away
Theres a bond that holds us together
Itll always stay
[instrumental]
Though Im getting stronger every day
Situations change, I hope and pray
Im not a man whos afraid to fight
With you beside me Ill see the light
Well be together, Im sure its meant to be
A friend and lover my only loyalty
If nothing else, its you and me.

To Every Student
In every school, to every student
there's a special teacher.
To every teacher, to every student
there's a special bond.
To every bond to every moment
There's a special time that we'll think
back and say to ourself's "That teacher
really cared!"
If you know that teacher cares
you're life will brighten up.
Cause now you know that
if you fall, that same special teacher
Will come and help you up.

The Love Sonnets Of Proteus. Part III: Gods And False Gods: LXIV
HE APPEALS AGAINST HIS BOND
In my distress Love made me sign a bond,
A cruel bond. 'Twas by necessity
Wrung from a foolish heart, alas, too fond,
Too blindly fond, its error to foresee.
And now my soul's estate, in jeopardy,
Lies to a pledge it never can redeem.
Love's loan was love, one hour of ecstasy,
His penalty eternal loss of him.
--See, I am penniless, the forfeit paid,
And go a beggar forth from thy dear sight,
My pound of more than flesh too strictly weighed
And cut too near the heart. Fair Israelite,
Thy plea was just. Thy right has been confessed.
And yet a work of mercy were twice blessed.

Words May Be Less
I have longed for your association
Dreamed about long stay with relation
It was you who made me smile
Otherwise it was hell for a while
I can't forget that lovely moment
When almighty had certainly sent
A chance to make strong union with bond
I opted for it and was very much fond
I have longed for your association
Dreamed about long stay with relation
It was you who made me smile
Otherwise it was hell for a while
I can't forget that lovely moment
When almighty had certainly sent
A chance to made strong union and bond
I opted for it and was very much fond
What will I choose if offered?
Never a thought to be differed
He is all for me in future journey
With clear blessings from almighty
Females may always want to settle
In life at later stage to feel well
Not to worry and face no troubles
As life is full of struggle
Some gentle whisper do magic in ears
As if moving on wider horizon with no fears
It is extreme zenith and peak
Where words may be less to speak

Think You Are Better
Look in the mirror
What do you see
Someone who is special
For there is no one else like me
I may not have the best looks
Or money or fame
But God made me special
For He knows my name
He formed me in His image
Like He did you
So it might not be apparent
I'm alot like you
So if you think of putting me down
Remember we have the same FATHER
So you are no better than me

Basic Decisions
So pitiful have become those choice allegiances.
The ones some chose to bond with years ago,
With a professed loyalty overestimated...
That anyone conscious would have let go.
Today it seems a waste of time,
To discuss how things 'use' to be...
With a locked frame of mind on times much changed.
Even those who had obtained good jobs,
Believing themselves to arrive at some stability...
To find their investments to retire on a beach,
Pulled away from their realities they no longer can speak.
Today it seems a waste of time,
To discuss how things 'use' to be...
With a locked frame of mind on times much changed.
So pitiful have become those choice allegiances.
The ones some chose to bond with years ago,
With a professed loyalty overestimated...
That anyone conscious would have let go.
But who knew those dismissed from such cliques,
Would one day discover themselves to be...
The bigger winners living on fixed incomes.
But feeling happier from basic decisions they have made.

The Perfect Christmas
The perfect christmas,
would be held with much family and friends,
all gathered in one place,
to spend this special time,
with those they love.
~
So now dreaming,
of that one perfect christmas,
with the special people in my life.
~
Pictures i see flashing,
through my mind,
of beautiful white snow falling,
a tree,
with presents under it,
in front of the window,
and everything laughing,
having a good time,
while opening,
their gifts.
~
Such a wonderful time of the year,
hopefully being the perfect christmas,
that we all wish for.

I'm Not Perfect
I'm (x8)
Had we met at a different time we'd be perfect for each other,
Now were spending all our time, in this world come together,
My heart is aching, from all the love your giving,
Were not faking, is this the life were living?
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
More and more we are together, tryin to discover,
I see a flicker in your eye, are you lookin for somethin better?
You once told me lying on the ground, but keep goin up and down, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Why waste it thinkin about it? taste it,
Don't waste it thinkin about it, taste it,
It really doesn't matter wherever i may go,
We're tied together, that's one thing we both know, yo!
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
Now i'm right on time,
I'm not perfect, but i'm perfect for you,
I feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, i feel right on time,
Right on time, i feel on time tonight, i right on time, now i'm right on time,

A real friendship
Only friends but not the friendship should be in question
Can this be termed as simple thing and narration?
This is unique bond and needs no further explanation
You can’t have it merely by extending the invitation
It bothered me since the beginning with some doubts
I was unable to think precisely and talk about
I cared so much about it in life but could go no further
I have all the sympathy for those who are for others
Yes, no one can definitely say why they want it?
What is the special need o go after person and greet?
What makes one impatient all the time to meet?
One may have all the comforts and prefer the home to sit
It has deep roots and special attachment
You can notice it in every movement
Joy and happiness rush on the face
You may want new friends and try to trace
We are social animal and need some one to care
You may not bother about who comes from where?
The person is needed by some one to confide
It is very difficult to suppress or hide
The person may be lucky if he has true friendship
There is so much joy in maintaining the companionship
It is like having good sailor on the board to navigate the ship
How the barren land can be so much attached to the camel as desert ship
It has to be durable and must have long spell
Everything may prove test of time and go well
It has to do so much with real bond
Every one should be careful and be fond

Bond
Bond
His name is James Bond
A small golden fish
Swimming in my pond
Along lines he rises
Cruises on the grid
Has many disguises
Hides and stays hid
Bond
His name is James Bond
A small golden fish
Of which I am very fond!
He's truly ambitios
He's fierce and vicious
Bond - my pet Piraya
Swimming with the fishes.
Special Family Memories
I have special family memories
Of when I was just a child
My family did things together
More often than once in awhile
We would go to church together
Then afterward a Sunday drive
With roast beef and mashed potatoes
When back home we’d later arrive
We’d to go the movies on occasion
My mom, dad, brother and me
I remember especially seeing Bambi
Although that was sad for me to see
But family is so important
It creates a special bond
I have many family memories
Of which I’m so terribly fond!

Final Good-Byes
as we say our final good-byes
I won't be fully there
I'll be thinking of time we shared
and what it'll be like without you
you're moving
it'll be sad to see
but it's nothing new
for it's plain to see
I liked you
you'd never tell
or see for that matter
how I truy feel
I thought there was something
special we shared
a bond a connection
that wouldn't rip us apart
but these are our final days
until we're far apart
I will treasure them always
you'll be in my heart
you reached me
for the first time I say
I'd trust you with my life
even on my last day
I'll think about you
and wonder 'What if...'
what if you never left
what if we could be
some think it's foolishness
but I'll never tell
how you made me feel
and how you made me melt
when I hear your voice
I always turn back to see
you smiling at me
and calling me near
some say you're normal
I say their wrong
you're something special
because you made me strong
I know we're just friends
but there's more there
I never saw it coming
but it's something I must bare
so good-bye
but not forever
time will tell
what was truly there
I will miss you
more than you know
it's the hardest thing to do
saying good-bye to you
these moments are going
as I wave you good-bye
it could be the last I see you
I'll miss you no lie.

Three Hearts
For JoAnn and Meggie
My adopted sisters and partners in poems
When you take partners
in whatever you do,
they become extra close,
becoming an extended family.
They bring an inner joy
that is sometimes hard to find.
They share a special place
deep within your heart.
If you write together
as I do with my adopted sisters,
you like to compliment each other
with every line you write.
A special bond is formed,
not only with the friendship
that grows on a daily basis.
You care about them
always trying to ensure
that they feel no hurt,
and if they do,
your arms are always there to comfort them.
My adopted sisters have that bond
deep within my heart
and we have become
three hearts beating as one.
Though we may live
thousands of miles away from each other,
I have become richer from their friendship.
There is one thing that I have promised myself to do,
that is to visit each of them
and give them a big, big hugs
that are well over do.
I love you Lil sis’s.
Love and hugs from your Big Bruv.

The Special Friend
The glistening eyes of a faithful friend,
In them I could see the all the even,
Yet from them I experienced all the odd,
Always hoping for more and more,
In those moments that took breaths away,
Me and my almost lover, the sky did saw
We could count the stars, glistening
The eye contact intense, listening
Could I ever be there,
Could I ever be that man,
My heart was painted purple for her,
Yet I fell more and more for her,
She was never a lover, but more than a friend,
She was the special one
To love her was an inevitable act,
Coming to me like a whispering voice,
Deliberately I made an intended choice,
Her choice was my primary priority,
Yet my heart did fail her choice,
The trees could see us smile,
The wind could see us happy,
All we had and all we used to be,
A plausible act of perfect company,
To leave or to love,
The options just but a few,
And with all my manifest flaws,
And the latent lose of sense,
She enjoyed my presence,
And the things we wont become,
So close yet a million miles away,
She was more than a friend,
Yet less than a lover,
She was the special one
Her mind was so set,
To give a hug when I cried,
In her thoughts she was alert,
To give time when I needed her,
Her concern so sharp,
To give a shoulder in time of grief,
Yet to be mine she never desired,
Those feelings she never found,
When I needed her to find them the most,
The realisations flashed lights,
Yet never did she saw,
The feelings walked passed her,
Yet never did she witness,
So good to love me, she did it perfectly
In her perfection I found pain,
Like a jail with steel bars,
Seeing freedom outside,
Freedom that can never be yours,
Such was me before the embodiment of beauty
To miss something that is by your side,
To live a fairytale in a real moment,
For all I ever needed that she gave,
And all I ever wanted that she did not,
To love her was a choice not liability,
She remained more than a friend,
Very much less than a lover,
So much she remained the special one

Friendship with Roses
Friendship with All red roses
Gain n only gain without any losses
Bond for life in strain or happiness
Always smiles wore on your face
Thousands of cheers for cherishing bond
Even loved by god and always fond
Flowers speak and fragrance is spread
I see the messages between lines to read
Why flowers only and no nature?
Why no stars and sky for sure?
All take us to the different shore
Where joy and only joy to explore
Who will say no to friendship?
Who will not sail along on ship?
Hands to wave and cheers to air
Love and friendship is simply fair
Friends may last but not their love
It will behold and successfully drive
No difference or feelings at any turn
Joy and happiness is surely to return
Day may speak for years to come
We all may speak with one voice and welcome
Let it stay for ever in all the gardens
Even if looses charm or any stand hardens

I chose my way
The road I took came to a fork.
I had no choice but to decide
which of the two paths I would walk.
One narrow way, one broad and wide.
Whichever path I choose to take
a question lingers in my mind.
Perhaps I’ve made a grave mistake
but I press on leave doubts behind.
The narrow way; I made my choice.
Although I chose impulsively
I listened to some inner voice.
That whispered it was right for me.
I reached my goal successfully
which made me what I am today
Although I wonder where I’d be
if I had gone the other way.
Once you decide don’t second guess
but execute the choice you made.
The only way to reach success
is to keep on unafraid.

Happy Anniversary (Our Special Day)
Of all the things we celebrate,
There is one very special date,
That special day when vows were said,
Our special day when we were wed.
Of you my love, I was so fond,
To want to start a lasting bond,
It was a sunny Saturday in May,
That day we call our special day.
I still recall your walk up the aisle,
As you gave to me a secret smile,
I could not help but feel so proud,
The luckiest man in the crowd.
As I stood and held your hand,
I really began to understand,
For when we two were joined as one,
A whole new life had just begun.
And when they said to kiss the bride,
I felt so very proud deep inside,
Knowing that we'd be sharing a life,
You and me as man and wife.
And looking back upon it all,
It's the good times I recall,
And if you asked me to do it again,
You'd just have to tell me when.
So now that it's our anniversary day,
There's just some words I'd like to say,
Everyday my love grows more and more,
Even more today than the day before.
And since I am so very blessed,
To be with the girl who is the best,
Once again I'd like to say,
Happy Anniversary Day.
