Of all the things we celebrate,
There is one very special date,
That special day when vows were said,
Our special day when we were wed.

Of you my love, I was so fond,
To want to start a lasting bond,
It was a sunny Saturday in May,
That day we call our special day.

I still recall your walk up the aisle,
As you gave to me a secret smile,
I could not help but feel so proud,
The luckiest man in the crowd.

As I stood and held your hand,
I really began to understand,
For when we two were joined as one,
A whole new life had just begun.

And when they said to kiss the bride,
I felt so very proud deep inside,
Knowing that we'd be sharing a life,
You and me as man and wife.

And looking back upon it all,
It's the good times I recall,
And if you asked me to do it again,
You'd just have to tell me when.

So now that it's our anniversary day,
There's just some words I'd like to say,
Everyday my love grows more and more,
Even more today than the day before.

And since I am so very blessed,
To be with the girl who is the best,
Once again I'd like to say,

Happy Anniversary

I really miss you on this special day
I know you will call to greet me today
“Happy Anniversary” that’s all we can say
Yes, I am lonely ‘cause you’re so far away
But don’t worry, I can manage anyway

Seems like only yesterday when we took our vows
We said “I do” as tears were on my eyes
We took our pledge to share life together
Through thick and thin our love will be stronger
We promised, life will be filled with joys and laughter

That was nineteen years ago
And still I’m madly in love with you
Love matures yet we stay young at hearts
‘Cause we try to keep the flame inside
We keep our passion to lights our desires

We have endured the ups and downs of life
We’ve struggled so much and we survived
I can’t believe we’d get this far
Though sometimes we had fights and doubts
We’re able to retain that love in us

Today, I will take the chance
To say thank you for all the good times
Thank you for understanding and loving me
Thank you for sticking by my side
Thank you for giving us a decent life

One ready for a date and wait for the special one
But who will be one and date special one
No one is special because haven’t got the one
Why one date tonight special just for you
If I am special one it this just for a night
No way will I call anyone to be the special
One NIGHT
But go to open night to find one special
Party dance laugher and CATCH
End of night holding hand in hand
Together walk to valley Park
Under the moon and shining star
The moon warm and orange light
The wishing star twinkle above

Wedding Anniversary and Father’s Day

June 15,2008

Today is unique…it is a date to be doubly celebrated
June the fifteenth is a special day for remembering Dad
It is also the forty-fifth anniversary of when I wed my mate
Over the years life has changed…I could easily be sad

But this Sunday morning I have a reminiscing smile
Remembering a day that made wishful dreams come true
On a day like this…my father walked me down the aisle
Who gives this woman to be wed… he timidly said….'I do'

His grandson was named after him…he was tearfully proud
His days of living abruptly end before the little guy was two
Each day 'Joe' is called to mind as his name is spoken aloud
Father on this special day…I am having fond thoughts of you

My life changed the day,

This a special day
many have gone
lots more to come
special moments, eventful times
memories of the years that past
from the first we met, I knew
there would not be any like you
to change my world, spark my life
create amazing adventures
survived the bad times
struggles, fights, make ups
seeing your smile and sparkling eyes
still melt me after all these years
this day brings fond memories
