Just
Is it just...
Another form of tyranny
trying to enforce the dream of peace
upon humanity.
Is 'he'* just another Dictator...
attempting to brainwash
the masses with his socialistic
'share the wealth' mentality?
Maybe I am... Just
another old hippie chick,
my sign held high.
But...
I still feel the need to protest
for there are those who see
Liberalism as a disease
to be eradicated.
No vaccination for me,
I prefer to live with the
love your brother 'crazies'.

4th November 2008
'I have a dream! '
And today the dream is fulfilled by electing Barack Obama;
'I have a dream! '
And the 4th November 2008 is now recorded into the History Books;
'I have a dream! '
And today Barack Obama is the 44th President of the U.S.A.;
For the Blackman is capable of handling his or her own affairs.
'I have a dream! '
And 4th November 2008 will be the date to remember always;
'I have a dream! '
For this date gave the First African American to be a President;
'I have a dream! '
And the shout i do hear around me is: 'Obama, Obama, Obama! ! '
'I have a dream! '
That today the Americans had recorded a History to us all;
'I have a dream! '
That the days of the Slavery gone by had yielded fruit today;
'I have a dream! '
And 4th November 2008 had taken us through to fulfil this dream;
So we can really make a change of our lives today.
'I have a dream! '
Today the First Blackman is Elected as the 44th U.S. President;
'I have a dream! '
That today there is joy in the African American Community;
'I have a dream! '
And for who the cap fits must surely wear it;
And today, the cap fits Barack Obama.

Barack Obama
He is the first Blackman and the 44th U.S. President,
And 2008 U.S. Election will be remembered always!
For Barack Obama is his name.
'Say it loud! I'm Black and proud'! ! (James Brown):
For life is like the Rich Man's table and the Poor Man's Kitchen,
But my mind is faster than my fingers at times.
You have made History and,
I will use my legs to be closer to your heart;
For the 'American Dream' is all about you and i.
Being the best among your peers was like,
A thing of joy to grow up and among others;
Rather you chose to be very simple to others like,
A river flowing down to the sea and,
Coming to meet you face to face was like a warrior!
Knowing when the battle begins and ends.
Overcoming the fears and the hatred around you is like,
Barack Obama reaching out to the skies!
As far as becoming the 44th U.S. President in our time and,
Managing the affairs of others too;
As time goes by with you and your team in power!
Black bear, blue bear and the white bear;
Of a man on a vision with the truth,
So open up your eyes and try to see from him too!
143 years after the end of the Slavery in the U.S.A.,
'Change has come to America'! And,
20th January 2009 ushers in the 44th U.S. President.
It is all about the 'American Dream' and,
It is all about life!
Greetings to President Obama and his wife;
Michelle Obama (the First Lady) and the children!
Sasha and Malia should be guided too,
For this History will always be remembered.

Obama! Obama!
From Bungoma to Oklahoma
It's Obama! Obama! Our Barack Obama.
Lips and tongues ululate your name, and
Your ideology is a hot topic within the intelligentsia.
Are you the real reincarnation
Of Martin Luther and his King-size dream.
In broad daylight, Luther dreamt of no color or race.
Can you dare to dream of a paradise of all faces.
Are you, by all means necessary,
Like Malcolm with his big X on racism,
Striving and struggling for racial harmony?
Can you harmonize between the haves and the haves not?
Obama! Obama! Our Barack Obama
Before they scare you with Bin Laden Osama
Please turn into a bridge between races
And become a cauldron of peace in the Middle East.

A Do-Over Again?
I wrote awhile back about the Michigan and Florida Democratic Do-Over,
Because they violated the Democratic Party’s rules,
Now Barack Obama is the 44th President as of January 20th was that for sure?
In the hustle and bustle amongst all the bling and jewels,
There was a snafu,
At noon, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Roberts who hadn’t clue,
What he was about to say,
Justice Roberts managed to mumble a few pseudo-dyslexic statements,
For President-Elect Obama to repeat, with some surprise,
After all was the Chief Justice caught up in the moments?
This slice of American History;
This Chief Justice will make history for centuries after his demise.
What a glorious event,2 million people attended, without one fracas of the law,
What moments that practically the whole world watched,
Glued to their TV’s, radios, I-Pods, and Computers,
Could have not believed what they saw,
A non-white man was going be the President of the United States of America?
But back to the swearing ceremony; the Chief Justice,
-well kind of ‘screwed up’.
Rather than embarrass the Judge,
Barack played along,
That’s when I knew he was for real,
Rather than create an upheaval of trying to correct the Judge’s words,
Barack went on with the flow,
No ‘up-manship’ here,
it was pretty clear,
That Barack Obama was our president after 12: 01 pm EST,
However he was repeating the words of a man, not the constitution,
Yesterday, at a private ceremony,
Supreme Court Roberts did say the correct words,
In which “President Obama” was sworn in a second time,
On consecutive dates in this institution.

Barack Hussein Obama II
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.
Being one of his father's children among the four wives and,
A vision came to him to achieve the best of life with dreams;
Right from the beginning of things to fulfil his ambitions and,
As the right person to stand for the U.S Presidential race.
Care was given to him from every angle to push him up like,
Kenya where his father came from.
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.
Here in Berlin with the advantage of his reputations and,
Using the opportunities in the U.S.A. like his father had;
Showing how great it is to share without racism and religion like,
Sunflowers in a sweet green field with the smell of an aroma:
Emitting with positive words to call us all together as one.
In the U.S.A. to reach out to the world with love and,
Now that he is running for the presidential seat.
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.
Obama has made a name in this world so sweet,
Being rated among the best to bring us together;
Along the lines of war, hatred and peace like,
Masters of the act of flying to reach a place:
A memory of his visit will sit many down to think.
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.

Stagflation
As history unfolds and memoirs you read
what have nations done to succeed?
Let alone the masses, take the elite
From politicians to the President, the life that they lead
Abundance of wealth, and the status they hold
From generations to generation, stories have been told
Now the question arises, in spite of all
Will the nation still suffer form its rise and fall?
Stagflation is the name for the price that we pay
Lets hope Obama will ensure better ways.
The key to success is implementation here
as quoted by Obama as 'Hope over Fear'
governing the nation, managing the mass
Lets hope Obama will do at last
Let once again be hopeful I say
It's 'Land of the Free' and 'Home of the Brave'.

Obama has spread change to America and now it is the worlds time.
Obama worked for his president seat. Dispite the death threats and racism.
Lets hope we wont have to deal with racism any longer under obama it is not white power or black power it is shared power.
Let god watch over and protect the first black president now I can say I am apart of the hip hop generation.

History Is Made Today
Kunta Kinte's Gambia,
Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana,
Nelson Mandela's South Africa,
Kofi Annan's U.N.,
And Barack Obama's U.S.A.;
All the records are there for a purpose,
For today history is made in the U.S.A.!
Check the history of these great men and what they are made of?
For the Slave Trade started in the year 1530;
And in 2008, a Blackman is elected as the 44th U.S.President.
1530 to the Slave Trade,
And after 478 years today history is made;
4th November's U.S. Election made a history!
Of slaves from Nigeria,
Of slaves from Ghana,
Of slaves from Senegal,
Of slaves from Gambia,
Of slaves from Angola,
And all the other places of the African Continent;
What was due to us has been done.
'I have a dream'! Martin Luther King (1963):
And today (2008) the dream is fulfilled (Barack Hussein Obama) .
Even babies could pronouce the name 'Obama'! ! !
For the American dream is for a better America.
Of the slaves gone by and the tears of the people today,
Out of Africa to America;
Inot the plantations of a hard work to fulfil this dream today,
So i really understood the tears of many after the results.
'Yes we can'! After 478 years in history;
The American Independence came but many were still not liberated,
Not until the 4th November's 2008 U.S. Election.
I say the tears of many,
And this history of the First Black Family to sit in the White House;
But to al things, let us give glory to the Creator Almighty.

US Presidential Race
Hear ye all in the North, the South,
The East and the West, hear ye, hear!
Hear the great event in the annals
of USA, the Giant Power in century!
After the dark Halloween and
the real horror of the Great Hurricane,
the American people will cast their ballots
for a president of their best choice.
Barack Obama and Mitt Romney
dominate attention on the stage and on
the screens; small children get tired
of their mumblings and hope that
their noise will soon end.
Rallies are held in many states
to harvest more electoral votes
Both candidates boast of their
great power and calibre
with their subtle way of
mud slaying each other.
Hear ye, hear ye, the election
of USA for a president!
Between Obama and Romney
Who is the fortunate to win?
Between the Democrats
And the Republicans
Who will hold the victory feast
in the night of November 6?
May the best win for the
Next heavy four years.
