Wise Step
Nothing could go to my head as what was wrong?
Why I did not find best suitable love among?
Was I expecting something more or unusual?
Was my approach not sincere or casual/
Well, this was question baffling me ever
I had given up the hunt for love forever
I was not expecting any more blossoms
I think this was wise step and full of wisdom
I still missed the real feeling of true love
I was traveling in car which simply drove
It had no other mission than to travel
I had given up without reaching any level
May be I was not able to put forth my views
Bright sun rays only knew to wipe out the dews
I was unlucky among all with counting of few
May be I was not destined to get my real due
Is the pull really emerging from inner heart?
Why their faces lit up with smile and look so smart?
I was really wondering what this phenomenon “love” is.
Everybody says the same as these are blessings from His
My eyes may not have that flicker and killer’s instinct
Approach may have been different and distinct
I virtually longed for real feeling and attachment
What it could land in was only detachment?
Everybody may not be that lucky to find real pleasure
It is one of the most rare and unavailable treasure
How one can find in comfortable position which can assure
Smooth life with all the happiness and joy to reassure
I guess it may be lovely gift from savior the Almighty
Warmth feelings and all happy actions considered to be naughty
I have yet to come across and feel all the earthly feelings
If some one comes form no where suddenly and willing
I know it can not be orchestrated or stage managed show
Whole might and true intentions one should offer or throw
It may grow in its own natural sphere and mushroom
Spring may sprang surprise with full arrival of blossom
I may wait for those moments to enter in my barren age
I shall become poet to pen down lovely feelings on page
It may end long spell of frustration for not meeting partner
Who could bring all happiness and prove as good listener
I shall wake up to witness new heights and reality
It shall be best available in the form good quality
I shall endeavor to preserve it with full honor
I shall not mind it even if you come with mistakes so minor

What a wonderful hesitation

Dearth of happiness
Every flower resembles your face.
They do not make me happy rather

i push you away,
you still come back,
you say it how it is,
something i wasn't expecting,
i was expecting you to walk out,
disappear and not look back,
but you didn't,
you said what i've been waiting to here,
that you are not like most guys,
you wasn't telling me,
from a crush stand point,
but as a friend,
what i need more than anything,
at this moment of frustration,
is a friend to tell me,
what i'm too blind to see,
through honesty and a caring heart,
i can live without judgements,
what i really need is,
somebody who willing to be by myside,

Golden Days
I long for those days
which were filled with full of laughter,
Without worrying about time
when we just used to loiter
I miss those days
which were full of pranks n mischief,
When we used to burst into laughing
without minding the crowd or anything
People used to mock us
& call us the laughter stock,
yet we were unmindful
& simply used to rock!
Yes I long for the lost happiness
for the lost world,
My today seems to be void minus those moments
Its like an ocean without a pearl!

Reminiscenes
Oh those days gone past my era of joy,
“Come back – come back’’ I’m yelling
now. Still today when the memories
of those days flashback, a moment of
smile returns with the images of a few
happy friends holding hands and
Rejoicing-rejoicing in the small school
of Jnaneshwar. The river of love was
flowing in full swing, here-there,
everywhere was joy and joy and amidst
that joy lived some joyful friends happily.
we will never meet, my dear friends, all
of us once again and even in this
tearful life of today the slight memories
of those days bring back the smile on my
face. Oh those days gone past my era of
Joy- “please come back”.
Violent tides battle in the ocean of tears
each day that I remember the days gone
past in to the pages of memory, and the
Harbor though strong and resistant soon
falls apart as the teardrops wet my cheeks.
The stream of life haunted through the coot
and hern and joy bubbled at each fall until
it made a sudden sally and listed a thousand
miles between us which changed all. Late at
nights I’ve often awoken to cry for the laughter
that reverberates in my dreams, and soaking my
tears, I’ve often turned back expecting your eyes
which never allowed me feel solitary and I’ve passed
each day hoping that this day is the last day of
separation but the time is the arrow which once
shot, never really returns back.

Eight Minutes To One
In the early hours the radio alarm
went off at eight minutes to one
despite me setting it earlier for six
and checking that it was on.
Now wide awake I rechecked the setting;
and I had definitely made no mistake.
I put it down to an electrical malfunction
and fell asleep until it was time to wake.
I didn’t think any more about the alarm
and continued with my normal day.
The alarm was already set for six o’clock
so I went to bed in the usual way.
At eight minutes to one the alarm went off
exactly the same time as the previous night.
Again I checked on my alarm settings
and again everything was set right.
This time I unplugged the whole radio unit
and recalibrated the time and alarm.
I was now happy that all would be okay
and fell asleep relaxed and calm.
The following night I went to bed as usual
and slept until eight minutes to one.
The cursed radio alarm went off again,
so this radio’s days were done.
The next day I bought an electrical travel clock
and tried out the alarm there and then.
It worked like a charm and I was very pleased,
so that night I went to bed at ten.
At eight minutes to one the alarm went off again
and I could hardly believe this to be true.
I was faced with a problem that had to be sorted,
and a mechanical clock should do.
I bought a large brass, twin belled wind up clock;
set the alarm and several times tried it out.
That night I retired expecting a good night’s sleep,
with no electrics to care about.
At eight minutes to one the alarm went off,
and I threw the clock against the wall.
I was now convinced something supernatural
was causing the earlier morning call.
Over the next few days I tried several clocks
and the alarms went off the same.
In the end I didn’t have a clock in the room,
and I never will again.
