Valeriu Butulescu

We find true friends in dogs. They love us without expressing opinions and without borrowing anything from us.

More Of A Convenience

Time should never be the reason,
Why what is loved...
Needs more of it for someone to find.
If it's true and there to stay on one's mind.
Only to digress from expressing it to address,
When amongst friends who wine and dine.

Confused by what it is that fits,
To legitimize whenever the setting calls for it...
One can not admit exists,
Isn't love!
This is more of a convenience,
That seeks someone to permit its permanence.

If Dogs Run Free

If dogs run free, then why not we
Across the swooping plain?
My ears hear a symphony
Of two mules, trains and rain.
The best is always yet to come,
Thats what they explain to me.
Just do your thing, youll be king,
If dogs run free.
If dogs run free, why not me
Across the swamp of time?
My mind weaves a symphony
And tapestry of rhyme.
Oh, winds which rush my tale to thee
So it may flow and be,
To each his own, its all unknown,
If dogs run free.
If dogs run free, then what must be,
Must be, and that is all.
True love can make a blade of grass
Stand up straight and tall.
In harmony with the cosmic sea,
True love needs no company,
It can cure the soul, it can make it whole,
If dogs run free.

Too Happy to Fit a Bitterness into My Schedule

Never once,
Did I suggest, hint or insinuate...
Your way of life and outlook,
Was a prefabrication.
You knew my beliefs were different.
And we did not let that become between us,
As friends.

But of late,
You have become more irate.
And you seem to be annoyed,
I am not expressing disappointment...
That you are struggling,
To keep your head above water.

When I faced obstacles on my chosen path.
You laughed.
Expressing no empathy at all.
In fact,
You and your 'friends'...
Would wine and dine,
And socialize without end.
If fact,
You had more time with them to spend.

You then would ignore my calls,
When I needed your company...
As a friend to another.
To say something to me,
In the support of keeping me from not feeling...
Completely lonely.
And this is what you said...
'You made that bed,
Now lay in it by yourself.'

Well...
You made that bed,
Now lay in it by yourself.
You should be comfortable with those words.
But then,
To them I would add...
~Where are those 'friends'?
The ones you chose over me? ~

Am I harborng a bit of bitterness?
No.
Just stating to you what I know to be true.
I'm too happy to fit a bitterness into my schedule.

Stray dogs

Here and there and everywhere
Stray dogs doing business
And barkedup wrongtrees
And spoiled the working
Environments.

Stray dogs have no
Commonsense not true
Stray dogs encounter
The alien.
Stray dogs safeguard
The interest
And ensure to make
The area clean.

Stray dogs welcome
Common mass
Stray dogs do not like
Corrupt class.

Stray dogs can only think
The morrows
Stray dogs have practical
Experience and knowledge
You know I know all know.

The Woods

The trees flow around me
The cool air whips my face
The green of the tree
I have left no trace

I see my dogs running with pure adrenaline
The peace of the woods along no trail
The pure happiness of my dogs
The fast wagging tails

I find a nice tree
The urge to sit down hits me
I watch my dogs and I watch the tree that is thin
It is time for me to think, find what’s within

I need to start over
It’s time to end this persona
My true self always running
It is time to show my true self, a new beginning

Dogs (Homage)

Man’s best friend?

Why?

There is nothing quite as cute as a puppy
Dogs are more than pets, they’re companions
Dogs are fiercely loyal
Dogs protect life & property, even to their own demise
Dogs do not judge their masters
Dogs are grateful for any food fed them
Dogs can be trained to carry, guide, search, rescue and hunt
Dogs are great listeners
Dogs are ready to play anytime
Dogs are emotional sponges that absorb human misery
Dogs are wonderful match-makers and buffers
Dogs can chase away “The blues”
You can take a dog’s balls and he’ll still love you

Yes,
Dogs are 'Man’s best friend'
After all God is Dog spelled backwards...

Unconditional Love

Dogs are one kind
of friend to have,
memories of them
we share in our hearts
faithful and true are they
dogs show devotion
like no other,
no matter how we
treat them, they
return unconditional love
when were down,
and in the dumps
a friend in deed
we do have,
no one to talk with,
wagging tails, we get
alone and blue
dogs by ourside, very true
down at their level
on the floor,
kisses wet
do we get
no friend is greater
than one who gives,
unconditional love.

One True Love

All above me the stars are bright
And a sweet suburban breeze is blowing
And down the block are the parking lights
Of a hundred friends who I barely know and
Don't know me
Don't know me
None of them know me

And all through the party I want to leave
(All alone with one true love)
I could be happy if I could be
(In the dark with one true love)

And in the middle of everyone
I still find myself with my thoughts alone
And in the middle of all the noise
Look around myself at the shining toys that
I don't need
I don't need
I don't really need

And all through the party I want to leave
(All alone with one true love)
All of the lights are shining on me
(But all I want is one true love)

In this world I can see
Many billions waiting in the sun
So I'd love to believe
There'd be one of us for everyone
One of us for everyone
Enough to go around
But that's not what I've found

And all through the party I want to leave
(All alone with one true love)
All of the lights are shining on me
(All I want is one true love)
All of my life I've just wanted to be
(All alone with one true love)
Every day and night to be on my own with
One true love
With one true love
With one true love
With one true love
With one true love

True Friends Remain

I have friends,
Very few friends I only trust,
They were there for me when I needed them the most,
A true friends indeed,
They took me under their wings and show me there is meaning in life,
Friends indeed they’re,
I care for them as they cares for me,
True friends remain in my own domain,
How I love them as if they were my sister or my brother,
They’re my true friend,
And I shall try my best to be their true friend as well.

Everyone Have Their Opinions

Everyone have their opinions that's how it ought to be
And respect their opinions though with them you may not agree
As long as they respect human rights and a fair go for all
The difference between you and them to say the least is small.

Everyone have their opinions and no two quite the same
Even between those who are known to think alike some difference one can name
That's what makes us most interesting we all think differently
And you are very different so different to me.

Everyone have their own opinions a fact that is well known
And like 'tis said of him or her the words to each their own
To others opinions you should not react in a violent sort of a way
We must allow for difference and let them have their say.

Everyone have their opinions that fact with us remain
And as long with your opinions power over others you don't seek to gain
Though your opinions may be very different to mine
I respect your way of thinking and our difference suits me fine.

What is a Friend?

True friends will never let each other down
True friends will tell each other when they are right or wrong
True friends listen to their problems without casting judgment
True friends are never afraid to tell you like it is

A true friend knows when to say no
A true friend will never flop you
A true friend will be supportive of all you do
A true friend will be there to dry your weeping eyes

A true friend will lend a shoulder for you to cry on
A true friend cares how you are doing
A true friend cares about your day-to-day life
A true friend always calls and checks up on you

A true friend gives of himself/herself without asking for anything in return
A true friend would not lend you money but give you whatever they can
A true friend may argue, fuss, and fight with you but will always be there for you
A true friend forgives you for your shortcomings

A true friend will come to your aid no matter what time of day it is
A true friend doesn’t wait to hear from you to make the first call
A true friend just calls to chitchat with you
A true friend is like a Godsend in times of perils

A true friend is always welcoming
A true would give you the coat off their backs
A true friend knows enough is enough
A true friend will be by your side when you need them the most

A true friend will run an intercept or blockage for you
True friends will CYA for each other
True friends knows that this world wasn’t promised to us
True friends make the best of a bad situation

True friends keeps each others secretes
True friends keeps no secretes from one another
True friends share each other’s lives
A true friend is forever

Are you a true friend?
Ask yourself that question
Can you be a true friend?
Do you deserve a good friend?

There are no goodbyes in life, just hellos

Hello friend

Together

Love, I want to be loved by you
And make love to you too.
Your neck I want to feel with mine
Slowly, feeling each other
By kissing one another
As both of us will be expressing love for each other
Feelings both of us will express
The passion will rise, I will yearn for you
You, will crave for me even more
Will grip you close to me and I know you will reciprocate
Since, my love you do know is true.
Very true we are for each other
Being factual towards each other is the finest way
Obsessive feelings forever, cherish we will
True, very true, together we will be.

True Friends!

True friends are like a stars
They shine upon on my sky
I look upon every while
To count them and admire

Oh true friends are so dear
And that's why i always fear
If one of them falls apart
I cry for them day and night

My True friends are all that i have
So how can i bear losing them
And if one of them walks away
My soul chase their foot steps night and day
May can find them to ask them why

True friends are like shining diamonds
That i hide them on my heart
I join them on my hands every while
To count them cause I fear
If one of them slips among off
my fingers then i'll die

Oh true friend are my breath
They give me hope to breath
I hide them in my heart oh how i fear
If one of them falls apart
I look for them day and night
And my heart cries bloody tears
If i can't find them oh how i fear
Because they are so dear
Oh True Friends stay near:

Limping Like Snails

I try to refrain from making public,
My 'dated' observations.
Or make them sound as if I campaign,
For a return of accountability...
When I remember those responsible,
Who did not run from anything to get done.

I 'try' to keep my opinions restricted,
To those who may be offended...
I attempt to use my mind to actually think.
And proud I am of the ones much younger,
Who express themselves...
To leave behind the elderly and their foolish whims.

I 'try' to do this...
As I observe those shuffling along,
Using walkers and canes and complaining of pains.
I 'try' to keep my opinions restricted,
Around those limping like snails...
And expressing 'still' their youthful wishes.

'Let it go! '

I'm trying.
But the fiber is fighting against my desire.

Dogs In The Midwinter

You ever had a day like I had today,
When things are stacked up bad?
You look around and every face you see
Seems guaranteed to send you mad.
And you peer into those hallowed institutions.
And they bark at you from every side.
But the bite goes wide.
I see them running with their tails hanging low
Like dogs in the midwinter.
The prophets and the wise men and the hard politicos
Are all dogs in the midwinter.
Let the breath from the mountain still the pain,
Clear water from the fountain run sweeter than the rain.
Dogs in the midwinter.
The boss man and the tax man and the moneylenders growl...
Like dogs in the midwinter.
The weaker of the herd can feel their eyes and hear them howl
Like dogs in the midwinter.
Though the fox and the rabbit are at peace,
Cold doggies in the manger turn last suppers into feasts.
Dogs in the midwinter.
You ever had a day like I had today ---
Dogs in the midwinter.
You look around and every face you see ---
Dogs in the midwinter.
And you peer into those hallowed institutions.
And they bark at you from every side.
But the bite goes wide.
Were all running on a tightrope, wearing slippers in the snow...
Were all dogs in the midwinter.
The ice is ever thinner. be careful how you go
Like dogs in the midwinter.
And its hard to find true equilibrium
When youre looking at each other down the muzzle of a gun.
Dogs in the midwinter.
