A Mother's Collection: Tissues, Bones, And Blood (Second)

Her second born

“Mother You Have A Baby Boy'
Seven pound of flesh lay beneath
her throbbing heart, teardrops
rained down on his light brown hair,
flowing past matching eyes, and
forming a salty pool in
the crease of his neck.
“Put him back in his warm home, only his
brother and me live in that cemetary room!
I swallowed and digested hope and
wrapped my tissues, bones, and blood
in tenderness and nursed the fruit of my womb.
Oh how delightful watching him suckle-feed warm
milk as my heartbeat lulled him to sleep!

“Big Mike” your childhood holds many memorable moments
and Klutziness is one:
“Look mommy, I ripped my pants…I was chasing my friend
down the street'
“Look mommy, I bruised my knee…I was running from a bee”
“Look mommy, the dog was hungry and I was meat”

Son, it seems like yesterday when I held you in my arms,
rocked you to sleep, and not knowing what the future held for us three!
But, look at you now, with all varied drumbeats in your ear,
you chose to ignore most, instead marching by your own,
even dad would say, “he walks right on the edge”

Big Mike, children can’t choose their parents, but
I'm delighted you appreciate the choice I made.
You’re a man now and this is your special day...
two scores and eight- heck who’s keeping score,
enjoy your special day!

You’re like a bottle of vintage wine and I the wine maker.
Now my dear you’re aged...Go! Soar in the distance sky.
Mommy's love clinging to your wings and the winds whispering 'son I love you!

Someone Is Going To Pay For This

'MOMMY? '

Why are you screaming like that?
You nearly scared me to death.

That look...
In your eyes.
What is wrong?

'Mommy?
The sky.
I saw the sky...
And it was blue.

No?
What did I tell you about lieing?

'It's true mommy.
It's true.
My friends and I just left the beach.
And it was covered with...'

Go on!
Don't cry.
Mother's here.

'Mommy?
It was covered with 'white' sand! '

LIES!

'And...
We saw people smiling.
At us.'

Where is my gun?
I want you to stay in this house.
Go to your room.
Don't go anywhere.
I'll be right back.

'Where are you going, mommy? '

Someone is trying to feed my child with delusions.
And I don't like it one bit.
We are here to trash this world.
Not respect it.
Do you understand that?
DO YOU?

'Yes, mommy! '

You go to your room.
I'll be right back.
Someone is going to pay for this.

Mommy Why?

**This poem is not about me...it just came out of my head**

Why did they rip your heart out, mommy?
Why did they hate you so much?
Mommy, why didn't they accept you
Mommy why?

Why are you dead mommy?
What did they do?
How did it happen?
Mommy, why did it have to happen to you?

Oh i need to know why
Mommy please come back
Mommy i'm sorry i called you a bitch
Mommy i really don't hate you
Mommy please come back, i need you

Mommy & Daddy

Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
How come theyre all living in places
With too much snow or too much sand?
Tell your mommy, I got a funny feeling deep inside of me
Ask your daddy, is it really as bad as people make it seem?
Wa ta tick it ta too too..
Ask your mommy why everybody swallows all those little pills
Ask your daddy why that soldier doesnt care who he kills
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper, mommy and daddy would you rather that
I learned it from my friends, instead?
Do you think Im to young to know, to see, to feel, or hear
My questions need an answer or a vaccuum will appear
Dont be surprised if they turn and walk away
And tell your mommy and daddy that you love them anyway
That you love them anyway...
Give them a kiss
Love will set you free
Kings of emi
Mommy and daddy (alt.)
Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
Ask your mommy and daddy to tell you where you really came from
Then mommy and daddy will probably turn and quickly walk away
Then ask your mommy and daddy who really killed j.f.k
Wa ta tick it ta too too...
Ask your mommy if she really gets off on all her - all her pills
Ask your daddy, why doesnt that soldier care who he kills?
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper mommy and daddy,
Would it matter if the bullet went through my head?
If it was my blood spilling on the kitchen floor
If it was my blood, mommy, would you care a little more?
Dont be surprised when they turn and start to cry
And tell your mommy and daddy, tell your mommy and daddy
Scream it to your mommy and daddy
Theyre living in a lie, a lie, a lie
Its all a lie, a lie, a lie
A lie, a lie...

What Children Worry About

Mommy

Mommy, mommy
what’s going on in the world today?
Mommy am I going to be OK?
I heard some kids were wearing bombs
and blowing people up..
Mommy their world is very far away.
They can’t come here, right mommy?
Am I going to be OK.

Written: July 17,2007

Daddy

Daddy, daddy

I asked mommy some questions yesterday,
and tears were in her eyes.
She’s really scared daddy,
I know the reason why.
The kids with bombs,
might be here in our schools.
They won’t listen to the rules.
Mommy is really scared that one day,
you’ll both have no choice but to send me away

Mommy, Daddy

Mommy, Daddy, there’s no reason to fear
I figured it out late last night.
I said the words for God to hear.
I know He knows all things
and will do what’s right,
sooo… we say the words for God to hear,
everyday and every night.
Guess what Mommy, Daddy
everything will be alright.
Mommy, why are you still crying? ? ?

Our Healthy First Year

The sun is shining brightly
It is a warm and beautiful day
The children are running
The birds are singing
As our little Viva plays
You know, father time is passing by
Seems a happy baby seldom cries
No sign of God’s love could be more clear
Today we give thanks to our healthy first year
We give thanks to our Lord
On this tenth of May
Cause mommy was born
On the very same day
We give thanks to our maker
On this tenth of May
Cause daddy met mommy
On the very same day

Doll In A Carriage

She wants to be like her mommy
so she places her doll in a carriage.
She does not know that a mommy
should precede this event with marriage.
She covers the doll with a blanket
to keep her dolly warm.
She does not know that a mommy
is always in uniform.
White as a nurse for the babe that's sick,
an umbrella for the storm,
frazzeled, unkempt from nights awake,
worn out from lack of sleep.
Bedecked and proper for her husband
whose love she wants to keep.

She's unaware of all of this
but her innate mothering is there.
So she pushes her doll and is happy.
She has no mother's care.

One last time.

One last time daddy hold me close to your heart.
One last time daddy let's play Scrabble so I can win.
Daddy one more time to walk together, talking about the next trip.
Daddy for the very, last time tell me that you love me very much so.
Mommy one last time, doing my make-up for me.
One last time mommy, cook tacos and cake for a birthday.
Just one last time mommy, the laugh that we will never forget.
Mommy just one more time to go to the mall together with your best friend.
One last time sister, playing with dolls in your room that your share with me.
Sister one more time to ride daddy's motorcycle with him.
Sister just one more time to cook with mommy and daddy.
One last time sister to share a room, wear each other clothes.
Brother one more time for the fun, old memories when we never fought.
Brother one more time fun of it chasing the dogs around the yard.
One last time brother to go running through the woods for you.
Brother one more time to play hide and go seek for grandpa.
One last time grandma cooking for the family reunion and grandma for the very last time measure a skirt.
One last time grandma to sew and sew the skirt for me to wear on Sunday.
Grandma one more time to get the laughs all the time.
One more time grandpa to read the Christmas story from the Bible.
Grandpa one more time for memories sake hide and go seek up in the trees.
One last time hold me tight please do not let me go.
Please one more time let me go to sleep on your lap.

I Wanna Be

when i was four years old
i used to say
mommy, i wanna be a teacher
mommy, i wanna be a superhero
when i was six years old
i used to say
mommy, i wanna be a president
mommy, i wanna be rich
when i was eight years old
i used to say
mommy, who do you wanna be? ?
she smiled at me and kiss my head '
when i was twelve years old
i used to say
mommy, i wanna a be a doctor
mommy, i wanna be an engineer
when i was fourteen years old
that's when i begin to understand the way of life
i used to say
mommy, why life is unfair
why it always want to hurt us
now i'm sixteen years old
i'd say
mom, i wanna be
i wanna who i am
i wanna be the person god wants me to be
i wanna follow my dream
i wanna listen to my own heart talking
that 's who
i wanna be

Two Little Orphans

Two little children a boy and a girl
Sat by and old church door
The little girls feet were as brown as the curl
That fell on the dress that she wore
The little boys clothes were all tattered and torn
They shone beneath his blue eyes
Why dont you go home to your mommy I said
And this was the maidens reply
Mommys is heaven angels took her away
Left jim and I all alone
Weve no one to love us daddy is dead
And our darling mother is gone
Mommy got sick angels took her away
To dwell in those matins so bright
She said she would come for her children someday
And I guess shes coming tonight
The sexton came early to ring the church bell
And found them beneath the snow white
The angels made room for the orphans to dwell
Up in heaven with their mommy that night

The Diary Of A Young Girl (diary From An Angel)

Dear Diary,

Daddy was on the couch again
Mommy left again.

I walked alone to school today,
Somtimes i feel alone, sometimes I feel like a real lady.

My friend left me at lunch,
I was alone, I miss her a bunch.

I got a bruise from daddy,
He told me I have to do what he says, and call him daddy

Mommy got home late tonight,
But thats no different from every night.

Daddy put me in bed with him,
I said I didn't want to, but he made me do it with him.

I cut myself, I cut my arm,
I sat and did my own harm.

Daddy and mommy were yelling,
Please don't tell, the don't know I am telling.

Daddy threatened me,
He said I ruined his life, and that I can't start new.

Mommy said I was nothing
God said she's bluffing.

Daddy killed mommy today,
As I sat and watched today.

Mommy left me alone here,
I can't feel her near.

Daddy says I'm his now, his to enjoy,
That my body is his toy.

Daddy cut through my body,
He didn't stop, even when i said I had to go potty.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I met god today
I saw mommy's face again today.

I don't want to see daddy again,
Not after the pain he's left with me, with nothing to gain.

I left him alone in the world,
I left him alone.

He hurt me yesterday, that's all I know now,
I'll never forget...... I don't know how

An Unborn Child's Poem

Today my life began, but some say I’m not a real person yet,
Yes they say only Mommy exist, because me they have not yet met.

But just like a small crumb of bread is yet truly a bread,
My Mommy is and so am I, so they once in the Bible have read.

Yes for even when I was made in secret,
God saw even the embryo of me,
In a fear-inspiring way, I am wonderfully made,
even now to be.

Just think in a year or so, I shall be laughing and later talking,
Mommy and Daddy will be the first to see me walking.

Only 20 days, but my heart is beating on its own,
Gently beating, whispers of a lovely tone.

I am to be a girl, with blond hair and blue eyes,
I am growing a bit every day, and becoming very wise.

I want to learn to sing and dance,
To giggle and love at every chance.

To make Mommy and Daddy very proud of me,
When I become a young lady to be.

When I graduate, I want to be an artist or maybe even a scientist,
I know Mommy would support me, even if I pick another one on my list.

Tup-tup, tup-tup, are you listening Mommy to the whispers of my heart,
Suddenly today I feel differently on my part.

I scream with silent tears, “No Mommy I’m not ready to come on out,
I wonder if she hears my little shout.

I love you Mommy, I need more time to be with you,
I love you Mommy, Do you love me too.

I want to get married, and have my own kids to love and to hold,
To treat you nice and take care of you when you and I grow old.

My hopes and dreams disappeared in a instant and suddenly without a thought,
Mommy did not stop to think how very hard for my life I did fought.

Yes today I took my last little breath, never to have a chance to see,
The possibilities that I can be, Because today was the day that my Mommy killed me!

Daddy Why?

Daddy why did you leave Mommy before I was born?
Daddy why weren't you there for my birth?
Daddy why did you divorce Mommy when I was only five months old?
Daddy why did you day those mean things about Mommy?

Daddy why weren't you there for my first birthday?
Daddy why weren't you there when I took my first step?
Daddy why weren't you there when I got hurt?
Daddy why weren't you there when I became a teenager?

Daddy you're not going to be there when I turn 16.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I graduate from high school.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I get married.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I have children of my own.

Daddy you're NEVER going to be here.
Daddy you had a choice.
Daddy I chose too.
Daddy I NEVER WANT TO BE LIKE YOU!

The Simple Prayer Of A Child

'missing in action'...
they didnt know...
dont get your hopes up,
we're doing all we can...

she lay on the bed
and wept uncontrollably...
the little boy sat in the darkness,
thinking...

he got down off his bed,
and down on his knees:
'God, if you're out there,
if you're real...

help my mommy, help me,
bring my daddy home! '
the room was still,
he could hear his own breathing...

suddenly light poured through
the window, and flooded his room.
the little boy got up
and ran to his mother's side.

'mommy, mommy, daddy's ok,
he's not lost...'
'what do you mean, honey?
what are you saying? '

'he's not lost, mommy...
remember what he said
before he left...
he's in our hearts! '

she took the little boy
in her arms and hugged him...
they fell asleep in the stillness.
the next morning the phone rang.

she answered, and listened,
her mouth agape...
'what is it mommy, what is it? '
she put down the phone...

'they found him, he's ok,
they said it was dumb luck...'
they hugged each other crying.
dumb luck, i think not...

the simple prayer of a child!

T'was the Night Before Christmas

Her mommy was sound asleep, Her daddy was on the couch, Watchin' the T.V, She got up to use the potty, Hopefully he wouldn't see, Then she got back in her bed, She heard him walkin', And fallin' on the walls, 'cause he was drunk,

Then she prayed: 'Hopefully he wouldn't slap me, Please don't let him kick, Please not a bite or a scratch, Not even a knick, Please don't let it happen, Not on this wonderful night...', Then he opened her door, Grabed her by her neck, What a horibble sight, He put her down with a slam, Grabed her by her hair, And pulled her down the hall,

She screamed, She kicked, Then she yelled, 'WHAT DID I DO? ' After that he let go, He punched, He hit, There was nothing she could do, But lay there and cry,

Then her mommy screamed at her, For making her daddy angry, Mommy grabed a beer bottle, Then through it a her head, Her mommy said 'clean up this mess then go back to bed', She did as her mommy said, Then her mommy grabed her daddy by the arm, And went back to bed, Then she noticed she was bleeding from her head,

She grabed the phone and called 911, But I guess they were to late, 'cause when they got there, She was already dead,

T'was the night, Before christmas, The same night that little girl died, If you listen closely, You can still hear her cry.

Happiness is...(part two)

Kids do the cutest things...

I say to my daughter
'Daddy wants to sleep now'
The little one, of 22 months, says 'Not me! '
Shaking her head vigorously
My daughter wants to crawl under my covers
So I let her
She climbs on the bed
When Mommy enters, she says
'Come on, Daddy wants to sleep'
Her answer 'Ok, fine, I promise! '
Mommy laughs
And leaves
Just as she exits
My daughter exclaims 'Lights Mommy! '
So Mommy again laughs
Turns out the lights
Then after a minute or so
She gets up
Gives me a kiss
Climbs down the bed
And leaves me
And says 'Goodnight sweet dreams! '

Ask me what Happy is
This, This is Happy

I Miss My Mom

Mommy I miss you
Mommy I love you
Mommy you are everything for me
You are my best mom
You are my best friend
You are helping me more than I had seen
You always miss and care about me all the time
When every time I miss you
Sometime I cry
Sometime I feel like I want to die without you
Well, if someone read this they will think that I'm a weirdo
Because I act like a little kid that cry over a yo-yo
Yes. I agree I am if you give your love to other kid and not me
And yes. I am a jealous type of girl about my mom
Every year for mother day
I saw a lot of people buy gift for their mom with a smile on their face
But my eyes are watering and crying
I get jealous
I wish that my mom will be with me
I always think that if other people get sad or happy
Their mom will be the first one that they share
But for me I have no one
I get jealous when I saw someone mom really care about their child
Because why? Because I need a love from my mom
I mean she give me almost everything except she not here with me 
Sorry mom, I really crying right now… I have nothing else to say beside I wanted to stay with you I hope my wish will come true…

Ill Always Be With You

I just went to the corner
To get some bread and butter,
Dad called, hed got your letter,
This is his new number.
Chickens on the burner
But wait for me if you can,
Ill be back soon, honey,
Big kiss from mommy.
(chorus)
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill,
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill,
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill.
Please, I have a son!
(chorus)
Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss,
Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss.
Sorry, I was so late,
Did you call your dad?
I hope he was nice to you,
I dont wanna see you sad.
I see you ate your chicken,
And saved me a plate,
I dont know how to tell you, I dont know how to tell,
But I love you, baby, rememember, Ill always be with you
Ill always be with you.
I love you, mommy, I love you with all my heart,
Please, always be with me.
(chorus)
Miss, miss, miss, miss,
Miss, miss, miss, miss.
Mommy! mommy!
Why do I love you so if youre just a spec of dust,
Floating endlessly amongst the trillion stars?
Knowing that one day we may float apart,
Meeting each other in universe.
