Prayer To The Great Spirit

Great Spirit hear my call
and teach me of these things
I do not know
let me walk free with the wolf clan
so I may learn their wisdom
through the eyes of our sacred
of your creation

Give me strength to protect and preserve
what we have left of our Mother Earth
make me wise to teach others to follow
the path meant for us to take
by your grace
in this world now out of place
from our human race

I am only but one man
but guide me to help save
what we have taken away
with our ignorance and destruction
bring peace and harmony back again
for many generations to come
to end this misery of pain
so our children will live a life they deserve

Let me bring light into the hearts
of the shallow

A baby in a manger, the town of Bethlehem
The wise men had the heart to know He was the great I Am
They crossed the desert many miles to kneel down at His feet
The star that led them seemed to tell them what had come to be
The Son's gonna rise and shine
Make the lame walk, the deaf talk, and give sight back to the blind.
Bring a light into the darkness no one can deny
As sure as there's a heaven, the Son's gonna rise and shine
At the age of thirty-three, the prophecy fulfilled
On the cross at Calvary His blood for man was spilled
The sky was black as midnight, but 'neath the dark and gloom

Gone But Not Forgotten

Yes, you're gone but not forgotten, the memories still cling!
Yes, I know that death must happen yet I'm still wondering!
I have ten thousand anecdotes that only we have shared...
Enough to stir ten thousand notes, enough to prove I cared...
And yet I care more now than then, the grief consumes me still...
Your passing is beyond my ken... In fact, it's made me ill...
I hear your voice within the house, yes, even though you've gone!
Although I'm silent as a mouse, your voice won't carry on!
You speak my name, a moment's grace, a gift from God I think...
I look around to see your face... my timing out of sync...
I know you've gone! Your ghost abides! Your spirit dwells in dreams!
Sometimes my spirit coincides as if we're joining streams...
It's then that I fear for my mind... They say time heals our hearts...
I pray God's healing I will find and that a new life starts...
Perhaps I'm meant to love again! If so, then bless me now...

Hail O Mary, full of grace!

Mother of Christ and human race!
