The Gate Keeper
If only to understand, what does that truly mean?
You can do it the man in the suit says, as if hes always known.
But has it been thoroughly inspected?
What has he really shown?
Was he just pissed off, and that's the end of it.
Only time will tell with this one, he says yet again.
Like he's judging those who come out of the wood work every day.
A thought pondered.
A thought wondered.
A question that goes unanswered.
To know, is a dangerous power in which one envelopes them self in.
An ego to all men.

what defines qualities personality stock in yourself?
same we must remake our world to suit ourselves?

Is it time for me to go
The little girl wondered if she had a chance
Is it time to go
As she started packing her travelling bags and pants
Is it time yet
She wondered with great hope
But as her hope was slowly fading away
She felt like she could'nt cope

now there's no question
I was wrong

just a dent in your throne

When you're gifted with the power of thought
It is a wonderful thing in a way,
But it can also create problems
If your thoughts tend to go astray.
The power of thought brings things to light
That we tend to postpone
But now folks with the power of thoughts
Have today become quite known
So if you posses the power of thought
And don't know how to use it
Consult others who have the same quality,
But very seldom abuse it.

Payment
A tortuous path of neurons arced a call: ‘Awake! ’
I did; in rising, peering, stretching, bearing,
Pained anticipation saw it all:
Foretold, another filthy day.
I drew the drape: diluvian lay the ground
Beneath a lazy leaden cloud – apissing out
The puddles; irksome on the roof –
The drumming drops of bitter glee
Were hounding out a hapless me –
Reinforcing doubt that I am sound.
I left the house
to go to work
to earn a crust
without a perk
then on to bust
another straining vessel.
Trudging on thro’ mud and clay, I pondered:
‘Why a drought of happy times?
Auspicious climes were
Old and fusty books
Atop a dusty shelf
Inside a morgue-of-a-room,
Somewhere in a long-forgotten library
Down a lane without a way.’
I thought again: ‘And still I pay.’

Very Last Thought
What is the very last thought
that will cross my mind?
Drawing last breath, that thought
not anyone will find.
I'll take it with me
and let it inspire me
to keep me soaring high,
higher than the deep blue sky.
The thought alone is filled with love.
It will not break apart.
It will escape the body I leave behind
and seek a brand new start.
That thought will find its way
and travel to where you'll be
and when it finds its dsetination
that thought will become me.
The question in my last thought
will most probably be
whether or not you'll recognize
that the thought contains me?

Centred experimental form
Centred
The silence of the night profound.
Unbroken by the slightest sound.
Envelopes me.
Serenity envelopes me
From earthly worries I am free
Just for a while.
I can enjoy just for a while
a complete change from my life style.
No need to rush.
I am content no need to rush.
Sit quietly amidst the hush.
I still my mind.
Effortlessly I still my mind
and meditate until I find
my inner core.
When I have reached my inner core
I need not struggle any more.
I am at peace.
I realise I am at peace
when all my errant thought trains cease.
I can just be.
I understand I can just be
if only temporarily.
Then I must go.
An hour or two then I must go
back to the noisy world I know.
Reluctantly.
Surrendering reluctantly
the only time that I am free
to be just me.

Perhaps i have such special needs
I wondered what was wrong with me
My friends all fall so easily
But today i fell in love with someone i hardly know
Did i make myself imagine that he could love me so ?
'cause the feeling was so unexpected
I could hardly keep myself collected
I thought it took a little time to learn about lovin'
Never did believe in lovin' on sight

All i know is now it's gotta be right
In the midst of conversation he looked into my eyes
And all through the conversation
Much to my own surprise

We always had to do our work at night.

she was not beautiful
