The Energy A Poem Needs
Like keeping a fire burning you need enough fuel.
Sometimes I run out.
Poof and it's gone.
A desire, thoughts upon the wire.
I need another jolt.
Charging my batteries.
Rebooting again.
Gathering all the energy.
Dispersing it evenly.
Trying to keep it honest.
Cause I hold truth so close to my heart.
That it is hard to separate the two.
Emotions running wild.
Look their Bambie just jumped across the screen.
The mother follows close behind.
So afraid to let her out it's sight.
Nature is but gorges of something I continuously need.
It is of the proper feed.
It is so pure and clean.
In harmony the birds always sing.
It is all the way I want my poem to be.

Running Free
Roaming free in the wild,
I wish to be,
Though I am only a child,
Please, please let me run free!
Free to live, free to roam,
Can’t you see,
Running from life, running from home,

Hiding my feelings and my thoughts,
Sadly, this is me,
Hiding them I know I should not,

Slip Away Today
You jark back your hand away from mine and I move my lips away from yours
Then quietly we sit tryin' to forget
Those deep running thoughts that run wild across our minds
You quickly stop the words you start to say and we realize just how close we are
And we both know if we let ourselves go we'll do something we'll be sorry for

The most amazing thing
I have ever seen
Was the sight of my boy?

interesting and sophisticated
refusing to be celebrated
it's a monumental big screen kiss
it's so deep it's meaningless

You’re more than a mother to me
You’re a better part of my heart
Through all the tears, I look to you
For me, that’s where the joy starts

A Walk In Nature
A walk in Nature never boring in Nature great beauty to see
The wild birds are chirping and singing on fence wire and bush and on tree
Away from the street and the traffic from human made pollution and noise
Above the gray scrub by the river the skylark he sings as he flies.
The poets have been inspired by Nature and of her great beauty they sing
The swallows return to their Homeplace when they sense the coming of Spring
And the artists they paint Nature's beauty the woodlands in their Autumn brown
And one can see the beauty of Nature even in the park of your town.
My stay on this Planet a brief stay but Mother Nature will live on
And the birds will be heard in the woodlands when I am forgotten and gone
Our lives they are not that important for our lives they are numbered in hours
But Mother Nature is forever and she outlives her beautiful flowers.

My Desire Cowers...
Can you read my heart? My passion spelled out,
Do you sense my thoughts? As I caress your soul.
Emotions and feelings that I find so hard to express,
Whispers screaming out in the silence invading my being.

Time and space have been no barrier to this heart.
