Ann Landers

Class has a sense of humor. It knows that a good laugh is the best lubricant for oiling the machinery of human relations. Class never makes excuses. It takes its lumps and learns from past mistakes. Class bespeaks an aristocracy unrelated to ancestors or money. Some extremely wealthy people have no class at all, while others who are struggling to make ends meet are loaded with it. Class is real. You can't fake it. Class never tries to build itself up by tearing others down. Class is already up and need not attempt to look better by making others look worse. Everyone is comfortable with the person who has class because he is comfortable with himself. If you have class, you've got it made. If you don't have class, no matter what else you have, it won't make up for it.

I shall call the class, Heaven

'A class is not just a class
A class is like a temple.'
'Such as the God lives in temple
Same way the students lives in the class
Both are with the shiny face and broad smile.'
'A class is like a flower
That blooms with the light of the students.'
'A class is like a nursery
In which every type of flower planted.'
'In this way the class is a heaven
If we see it with our soul eyes
If we feel it
then we will find us
In the presence of God
And that is our respected Teachers.'

My class

My class is a funny class
When the teacher is not in
Our class is a circus
That will conquer the school

We have acrobats
We have clowns
and we even have elephants

My class is a noisy class
When the teacher is not in
Our class is a market
That will conquer the school

We have hawkers
We have fruiterers
and we even have butchers

No matter what
A circus or a market
We enjoy our class
When the teacher is not in

for Claribelle

Life is a polite woman.
I have always told you that in class.
I delight in the politeness of a woman.
Outside the class.

When i fall in love, i keep it
to myself. There is no courage for
me to say it. I keep my own joys.

You are a polite woman.
I named you my own Life.
The class do not know that.
I keep it upon myself as a
lovely burden. I keep sorrows too.
Secretly, like
a divine burden, an un-confessed
sin.

Sometimes, i have not told you
before you left, i also mumble upon
myself, without any wish
that i may understand what i
try to hide,
completely. Soon i forget and then
I am happy again.

That is what life is all about.
I am polite too.

In The Art Class

I look around this joyful room,
Amongst the peaceful teens
This is perhaps the only class
Where students are not machines

In the art class they’ll smile
In the art class they’ll yell
In the art class they‘ll be kind
And not raise a hell

Many teachers wonder why this is so
Many teachers wonder where the secret lies
The secret to peaceful teens, which enjoy their work
The secret to the students without depressed cries

The students wonder how they could not get it
How they could not understand
How the teachers don’t realise
That in the art room there are no demands

In the maths class there are complications
In the English room there is language
But in the art room there is only creativity
It is that which students which to salvage

The art teacher is simple and kind
The art teacher doesn’t lecture or scream
The art teacher doesn’t force them to be equal
And make a most horrendous scene

No, in the art class they are not equal
But the differences they admire
They have a writer, a painter and a sculptor
And they have freedom to aspire

Freedom is what the students wish
The students wish to be treated like people
In the art class they are treated as such
In other classes they are believed incapable

The students will always be at peace in the art room
There will be no fights, no pain, and no scorn
The other teachers will wonder what the secret is
But their attempts to find out will always be forlorn

Look, there is a sort of old view about class which is a very simplistic view that we have got the working class, the middle class and the upper class, I think it is more complicated than that.

When Its Time To Rock

Its hot up in the west end, theres panic right downtown
As the gangs assemble, coming up from underground
Well jesus I dont know which side I should be on
Im a class contender if anything goes wrong
* when its time to rock
Were the only ones
No one takes this block
cos were number one
We sneaked through the no go, very late last night
Out up from the back streets, cruising for a fight
Well jackies got his six string, he can play behind his back
Mickeys out from bellevue, hes just makin tracks
* repeat
[instrumental]
As we rocked through the midnight, took em all by storm
The police boys didnt have a chance, didnt even get warm
Oh daddy, why am I sittin here, Im not a member of the bar
Im not the only wild one in a hot wired car
* repeat

Everything Is Kiling Me....

As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function you're so full of fear
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and classless and free
But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

If you want to be a hero well just follow me
If you want to be a hero well just follow me

Working Class Hero

As soon as you're born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all.
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so f***ing crazy you can't follow their rules.
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear.
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

And you think you're so clever and classless and free,

A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.

There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill.

A working class hero is something to be.

If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

They don't understand

They don't understand,
What its like to be me.
They don't understand,
Why school is hard for me.
They don't understand,
Why I'm so skinny.
They don't understand,
Why I have no friends.

They don't understand,
What I need.
They don't understand,
Why I lie.
They don't understand,
Why life is hard.
They don't understand,
What life is like for me.
They don't understand,
Why I hurt.
They don't understand,
Why I have fears.
They don't understand,
Why I'm different.

I don't understand,
Why they don't like me.
I don't understand,
Why they don't except me.
I don't understand,
What they say.
I don't understand,
Why they don't undersatnd,
Me...

A Class

A beautiful morning!
It begins with delicious foods.
Multistoried buildings showing
an extra dignity to the dignified fellows are no doubt great.
Android, tablet, laptops performing
exciting activities are no doubt perfect.
A class! really higher class….
Yes, I also have these (Ha! Ha!) .
Suddenly, I placed my eyes into a boy.
He has a dusty sack except having a toy.
Now, I’m watching him deeply .
I got his face slippery.
He is a dweller of a slum.
Now, he want to make wet his tongue
seeking some food.
Do you know, what the expensive articles are in his bag?
He gathers your damaged glasses, your furniture’s, our toilet mug….
He wants to exchange it
to get his living a little bit.
Alas! What a class!
You know this class.
I will be happiest one
If I would get him a class.
He needs a class…….

Try to Understand Me Too (Autism)

Today might not be my day,
You might understand what I want to say.
There are times that I want to wave my hand,
And you might think it is something that I am trying to demand.
Can you hear the soun
ds as I pound my feet,
Well maybe not, but all I am doing is trying to sound a beat.
Do you remember when I read the book with you?
It was about the ghost and you made me laugh when you said BOO.
I love to hear it when we whisper and shout Lullabies, songs and rhymes,
To me I wonder, if they can hear us while we do this during school time.
This is one reason why I always say things over and over again,
And when you try to stop me, I get mad every now and then.
I only wish I can understand everything that I'm being told,
But to me it feels like I am always being controlled.
Can you remember when you asked the class a question and I wanted to answer it when was not my turn,
All I am just trying to do is show you that I can remember things that I learn.
I try to understand why I get so mad and I cannot control myself and I hurt you,
When I think about it I get sad and cry because I wish someone could, Try to Understand Me Too.
I wish the other kids would let me play,
If they took the time to talk to me, they might understand things my way,
I also love it when you want to teach me how to pray,
And you ask the Lord to help thru this day,
I know that you understand me and even, if no one ever wants to even take a guess,
So, this is my ways of saying thank you and telling you that I will always try and do my best.

Where they belonged

When I was in metric
(now grade twelve)
in the agricultural science class
an English girl took a chair
next to me
who had a secret crush
without getting
any attention from me.

I just wasn’t taken with her
and she was a little brash
and they lived
on the other side
of the railway tracks
and she had a reputation
of sleeping around.

When we studied
animal copulation
she acted as if
she didn’t really understand
and asked me some questions
which made me blush
and it was clear
that she had other plans instead.

Ignoring her didn’t help much
and heart broken she went to cry
on her sister’s shoulder
who was my class teacher
and taught me English
at the time.

We did an IQ test
(the first in my years at school)
and I scored only too well
and without really knowing
my personal circumstances
the teacher told the class
that I was lazy,
but much more than that
she marked my English grades down.

I didn’t know what had got into her
and in the second quarter
like a angel from heaven
a female inspector
(specializing in English)
visited the school.

She couldn’t understand
why my marks had slipped so much
and we had a very nice chat
where she demanded
all my English books and tests.

She graded everything again,
my grades took a hike,
the teacher was called in
and almost did the same
and after that
my grades were where
they belonged.

to my teacher Ms. emily

To my teacher to Ms. Emily
I always look forward to your class when I came to school. I enjoy each lesson you teach.

As my role model you inspire me to dream, to work very hard in class and to reach. Your an awesome teacher, your smart and intelligent.

With your kindness you always get my attention. But To be honest, sometime I bother you.

You make me understand each lesson you teach. I'm thankful for all that you've done to me.

I admire you each day and I just want to say As a teacher you are the best forever.

Downpour

All these titles and registrations,
All these winding paths,
The dark pathos
And gilded ages
Thawed with the abundance
Of lies and abandons

But the recollections of victory
In a warfare against humanity
Is a colossus contender
Battling out the malignance
Of your ignorance from your
Faults and peccadilloes

My transient friend,
I'd like to keep your memory
Unstained so we can be
These falling crystals
Traversing sunwards

Please, do not try to feel
More than you really do
Just come with your scars and bruises
That wasn't really yours
But come with recognition
And the far-flung audacity
Of honesty and sincerity
And I will understand
And I will exonerate
For the sake of what you were
And the absent shape
Juxtaposed this downpour.
