Downpour
All these titles and registrations,
All these winding paths,
The dark pathos
And gilded ages
Thawed with the abundance
Of lies and abandons
But the recollections of victory
In a warfare against humanity
Is a colossus contender
Battling out the malignance
Of your ignorance from your
Faults and peccadilloes
My transient friend,
I'd like to keep your memory
Unstained so we can be
These falling crystals
Traversing sunwards
Please, do not try to feel
More than you really do
Just come with your scars and bruises
That wasn't really yours
But come with recognition
And the far-flung audacity
Of honesty and sincerity
And I will understand
And I will exonerate
For the sake of what you were
And the absent shape
Juxtaposed this downpour.
