(Angry Poem) Angorance Took Me Down

May the gods give me the power,
on my dieing hour,
to relinquish the demons that devour.

Disgrace me not.
For the words I have sought have more meaning then they seem.
I'm bewildered by the action of others.
Children and there mother cling together by the fire.
I tip toe down such a thinly braided wire.
I dwell in a place of treachery.
Who will know how far down this hole truly goes.
Its a back door show.
Sneaking in to such wrong place.
Paying for something that should never be given.
Money buys the lies that put that eccentric tie on the well mannered suit.
Man this life is such a whoot.
Taken aback by the lack of tact.
You always emerge from the darkness when you helps not wanted or needed.
You act so conceded when your imaginary friends are around.
I slap a piece of meat on the table and say pound.
Everything in the ignorance of some drunks bliss.
What did you miss?
Here try that again my friend, more of an acquaintance.
But who wants to debate this.
Most would rather piss in your cornflakes.
Here you go now eat.
Such good deeds.
Just what I need.
Are you able yet to see beyond the cloud minds of such tectonic times?
If not drink some more of my wine.
It was made from a dime of this and that.
Yet it reacts so potent.
You think id be broke over it, or filthy rich from selling it in mass quantities.
Boy life's such a stitch.
I can still here all the complaints about what they don't got.
What do they expect?
Some things just cant be bought.
A murder going exactly as planned.
In the courts you feel so damned.
Its triple whammy.
Charged with so many felonies.
Bars so tight.
Down in a hole with no light.
This is what happens when you don't listen, to some kind reasoning.
Now are you believing in what you were truly achieving.

Peace

I feel sorry for each new soul
that falls into a big black hole.
When they were born they knew they were one
with all of life under the sun.

But the hole of ignorance opened wide
and the soul that they were fell inside.
Now climbing out is a challenge for some.
For the systam has got them and made them numb.

Relatively few will reach for that sun
and figure out what has been done,
That the big black hole was never there.
It was only a story to give them a scare.

Can you change the system? Probably not,
but you can change your perception and change the plot.
Each one is a mystery and quite unique.
Listen to yourself, not to those who speak

words that will send you back to the hole.
For these are words that are not of the soul.
I feel happy for each and everyone
who understands love, for they have won
peace.

Hole In My Head

Remember yesterday?
Driving down the M4
The sun lit up your face
Playing all the tunes
Feeling like a child again
The pain has been erased
I feel much better anyhow
Until I see that black cloud
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in
Stop looking in
Hide it all away
Keeping your heart inside a box
That no one else can take
Smile it all away
Holding back a thousand lies
But that was yesterday
I love it when she comes around
Until I see that black cloud
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in
Got a hole in my head
Got this song in my head
Waiting for the sun to come around
Waiting for the sun to come around
Take another smoke
I though you said you'd given up?
And does your mother know?
Take another rest
Holding out my hand again
I hope that we're still friends
I got a, I got a, I got a, I got a...
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in
I got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps looking in
Got a hole in my head
And it's making me sad
Got a hole and the world keeps crashing in

Is Ignorance Really Bliss

Godly Knowledge is rare today, as we're told that ignorance is bliss,
Take a look into some of the faces that you simply just can't miss.

As you look in their eyes, is there an inner peace and joy displayed,
Or do you see an unsettled darkness that almost appears engraved?

Your eyes The Lord had said are the windows to the soul, to see,
A little tiny glimpse my friend, of what kind of person they may be.

If his eyes are bad, The Lord said, his body is filled with darkness,
If this is so, I can assure you now that he is not filled with bliss.

If his eyes are good, again He said, his body is filled with light,
Therefore friend, I can assure you that he's on a path that's right.

Now that we are Children of God we no longer belong to the night,
For when we became Born Again we truly received new sight.

This new sight we receive brings a true understanding of our Lord,
He is the only one you see, who should not and will not be ignored.

To continue to willfully ignore The Lord's awesome revelation,
Will bring you not a life of bliss, but also eternal condemnation.

So ignorance my friend, is definitely not the path for you to take,
For those who do are the only people that He will eternally forsake.

So knowledge of The Lord, not ignorance, is the key to the only door,
To a life of bliss with The Savior down here, and life forevermore.

Im Alright

Well its been a long time glad to see your face
I knew wed meet again another time another place
Cant believe its been so many years
Youd better grab a chair and a couple of beers
Lookin good in your three piece suit
You know I always knew youd take the business route
You were always the one to follow the light and you look like youre doing alright
Been singin for my rent and singin for my supper
Im above the below and below the upper
Im stuck in the middle where money gets tight
But I guess Im doin alright
Im all Im all Im alright
Its a beautiful day not a cloud in sight so I guess Im doin alright
O- oh o-oh, Im alright
Got a good old friend here with me tonight and I guess Im doin alright
Well we had a lot of dreams when we were younger
They thought we were crazy but we had the hunger
We kept a lot of friends skipped a lot of class
Been on top of the world and knocked on our
We lost touch, we lost in love
We lost our minds when things got tough but
Beatin time is a losin fight and I guess Im doin alright
Im all Im all Im alright
Its a beautiful day not a cloud in sight so I guess Im doin alright
O-oh o-oh Im alright
I got a good old friend here with me tonight and I guess Im doin alright
Well I guess Im doin alright
Well I hate to see this evening end
God only knows when Ill see you again
Just send a fax or send me a letter or give me a call that would even be better
Give the kids a kiss for me and say hello to the family
And tell them all my futures lookin bright
Well I miss em but Im doin alright
I said I miss em but Im doin alright
Im all Im all Im alright
Its a beautiful day not a cloud in sight so I guess Im doin alright
O-oh o-oh, Im alright
Got a good old friend here with me tonight and I guess Im doin alright
Well I guess Im doin alright
Im doin alright

We Complimented Each Other Very Well

You believed in me as I believed in you
We complimented each other so well
When my back was against the wall
You brace me from my fall

In my darkest hour
You were my strength, my power
You gave me courage to keep on pushing through
Despite some thing’s I’ve done
You said that I’m the one
That makes your life whole and complete

We complimented each other very well
We complimented each other and the whole wide world could tell
We complimented each other that I’m shore
We complimented each other and you were the one that I adore

Most people said we belong together
We complimented each other so well
Inseparable and you couldn’t pull us apart
You have a special place in my heart

With you I was never alone
You just call I would be right home
You’d be right there to help me make it through
When we are old and gray
From your side I’d never stray
You have made my life whole and complete

For my love for you will never end
For you were my best friend
No gift as precious I could ever find
For you were so warm, tender, and kind

Your light no more shall I see
But in my heart you’ll always be
The storm is over piece may you lay
For tomorrow for you a brighter day

Go forth my beloved into the light
For now everything will be all right
Dream a better dream for you are in a better place
Come now the dawn I must face

Your memory will linger with me forever
For your sweetness I could forget never
You were there when I needed you most
Now I lift my glass to you to toast
I will miss you each and every hour
For you were my strength and my power

Damned

Don't smoke don't fight don't light no cigarettes
Or else you'll wind up in the can
No jokes no rights sit tight don't fool around
You are a guest of Uncle Sam
Stand up look right don't slouch and stand at ease
Allow no sex above the knees
When I snap you jump into the master plan
I'll be damned
Well I'll be damned

I'll be damned if I drink or smoke
Damned if I steal your joke
I'll be damned if I go for broke
Damned if I do
Damned if I don't

Don't talk don't fool don't try to mess around
I'll make a monkey outta you
You sign your name right on that dotted line boy
I'll be damned

I'll be damned if I drink or smoke
Damned if I steal your joke
I'll be damned if I go for broke
Damned if I do
And damned if I don't

I'll be damned if I drink or smoke
Damned if I steal your joke
I'll be damned if I go for broke
I'm damned if I do
I'm damned if I don't

I'll be damned if I drink or smoke

A Round Table

we have this round table
and we put all our hands
on it when we eat and
drink and just talk for
hours and hours and
listen. And we ask what
is happening: Karding
broke a leg and Delia
is looking for the money.
Always it is the money.
Always she is short of
the money. And there
were jewelries hanging
on her neck and arms
and fingers, and we all
ask at this round table:
what is happening?
Nothing, don't mind at
all, this is just a part of
the round table, some
wine glass that broke
and must be swept at
once. We keep away the
sound of a crying pig.
We eat pigs here at this
round table. Then we shifted
the talk about our dead
parents. We pray. We
remember we keep on
saying this. We finish eating
the pig. We drink a very
cold water. Our throats
are irritated and we step
out of the room wanting
to pull away our tongues.

when we come back the
round table is empty.
and we laugh about a
joke that we remember.
our childhood games
the river, and the boat
that father made for us.

we turn off the tv and we
begin to talk about the
beautiful flowers in mother's
old garden, the secret one.

we agree. we miss it.

I Will Never Forget You

When I went to same school with you, it was fun being in same class with you and becoming friends
Although we barely talk alot, I enjoy seeing you
You are so quiet and shy
I still miss you
I will never forget you
When I left to move back here

When things that bring back memories about you, I feel sad and want to cry
I feel bad for what I did to make us not friend anymore
If I could go there I would fixed it
You make me very happy on the Valentines Day
I got wrong signals that you like me more than a friend
You did it because you want to know how you felt about me
I will never forget you
You are the guy will never meant to hurt me

When I listen to my favorite songs, it bring back memories about you
It's hard to forget you
I can't move on no matter what I tried and accept you like a friend
I can't, and I want you be my boyfriend, but I can't force you to
I will never forget you
I had so many good memories

I will always feel sad when I heard your name or sad song that remind me of you
Although we are in different city
Is just that apart of me is still over there, and
Part of me is just wishing you were here with me
It will never be the same
I will never forget you
You were one of kind

When this feeling happen, I just to hold it in
I want to be by myself and think
There's nothing I can't do
I had to leave it alone and live my life
I want to show you that I can be a better friend
It was is and leave at that
We both are in good place right now
It fun while it last
I will never forgot you

The Gods Made Heavy Metal

In the beginning there was silence and darkness
All across the earth
Then came the wind and a hole in the sky
Thunder and lightning came crashing down
Hit the earth and split the ground
Fire burned high in the sky

From down below fire melted the stone
The ground shook and started to pound

The gods made heavy metal and they saw that is was good
They said to play it louder than Hell
We promised that we would
When losers say it's over with you know that it's a lie
The gods made heavy metal and it's never gonna die

We are the true believers
It's our turn to show the world
In the fire of heavy metal we were burned
It's more than our religion it's the only way to live
But the enemies of metal we can't forgive

Cause we believe in the power and the might
And the gods who made metal are with us tonight

The gods made heavy metal and they saw that is was good
They said to play it louder than Hell
We promised that we would
When losers say it's over with you know that it's a lie
The gods made heavy metal and it's never gonna die

We believe in the power and the might
And the gods who made metal are with us tonight

We're here tonight for heavy metal are you ready in the hall
They have chosen us and we have heard the call
Gonna tear the roof off with our sound

Crack the walls and shake the ground
Fight tonight for metal one and all

Cause we believe in the power and the might
And the gods who made metal are with us tonight

The gods made heavy metal and they saw that is was good
They said to play it louder than Hell
We promised that we would
When losers say it's over with you know that it's a lie
The gods made heavy metal and it's never gonna die

Cry for her

I really cry and feel for her
She is above all and no other
Can take her place with me
She is another name of thee

How to express personal gratitude?
She has bathed me even when I was nude
She will laugh all the time at my naughtiness
She will smile all the time with all brightness

Flowers blossom in the garden
No one feels it as burden
Mother too brings kid up
This is winning for her and triumph

What does she speak of child?
Sweet words even if I go wild
She will run after me for few steps
Take me in lap and offer no slap

She may try to cool me down
Make me to sleep at the cost of her own
She won’t mind if I piss in bed
Try to make me happy even if she is sad

She won’t allow me to cry
Number of tricks she may try
She will try to please me all the times
I will cause her worry sometimes

What does she expect in return?
Future security or reward in turn
I think it is wrong notion
She is down with always commotion

She may ask for nothing
Always wish for something
We may forget her great dedication
She may always willingly give indication

Today I miss her when she is not here
She has gone from here to somewhere
I don’t what she will be doing
But I feel she may be praying

I allow few tears to drop
It may mix with clay and help to grow crops
As earth may want some blessings from mother
I can feel for it and silently offer

Thats Where My Money Goes

Words and music: alfie zappacosta, paul dean, gerald obrian
Shes so fine, shes so eccentric
And what she buys, must be authentic
I paid up, to keep her down
I go crazy when shes not around, yeah, yeah
Shes got me in the palm of her hand
But please understand
No one ever made me feel
Quite like a man
She does, oh ya
You see that little girl of mine
Thats where my money goes
Thats where my money goes
And I work hard (he works hard) I work overtime
Its no good, cause I cant save a dime
When I have it, I got to spend it
On my baby
Cause Im so dependent... ya... on love...
My friends tell me Im out of my mind
But its not a crime
Iii do anything to keep that girl all mine
Oh ya, all mine
Shes satisfied and it shows
Thats where my money goes
Thats where my money goes
So take it all baby
(solo)... now listen
My friends tell me Im out of my mind
But its not a crime
Ill do anything to keep that girl all mine
Oh ya, I know
Shes satisfied and it shows
Shes satisfied and it shows
Thats where my money goes (thats where his money goes)
Thats where my money goes
(thats where his money goes)
Thats where my money goes (thats where his money goes)
Thats where my money goes (thats where his money goes)
Ill tell ya
Shes satisfied and it shows
Thats where my money goes
(thats where his money goes)
Thats where my money goes
(thats where his money goes)
Thats where my money goes (thats where his money goes)
Thats where my money goes
Thats where his money goes
Bye, bye, money, hello happiness

The Point Of View

Nothing is as it seems
No thing is as it is
We see nothing that we need to see
We see everything as they seem to be
Some things are as they're deemed
But really everything isn't what its
deemed to be
Sometimes no time seems the best time
But most times this time is the only time
'Be what you want to be', they say
Is what you want to be what you're
made to be?
Made to be? Huh?
'Aim for the sky and defy it'
A snail crawls his days and yet is what
he's made to be
What do you see when you look at me?
Wait, again I ask
What do you think you see when you
look at me?
That's true, you've never really looked at
me
I've never truly looked at you either
All that seems odd is even
Right is right, wrong is wrong, the
midway wrong
A suit and tie, a blouse and skirt
A shoulder broad, a smile broadened
To be like them, the greener grass
Things as they are, are not what they
are
All parade their lives allegedly being real
And alleging others fake
Give all a mask and they'll tell who
indeed they are
The past of a saint, the future of the
sinner
All evils hidden and intentions tucked in
He was a martyr and oh, a philanthropist
And seemed to all who saw all things
seemingly
A hero and a king
But from up above and from in within
Love was not in the mix
And all that really seemed something
Really, truly was nothing
'The building was on fire, my baby
inside
Where was God? , there is no God'
Inferences for the novice, truth founds
the wise
The night had fallen
All men stood with eyes sky-bound
Some adored the beauty of the stars
And some saw a full moon
A selected few a half-broken moon
While the rest cursed the darkness of
the night
It was the same night with the same
stars
One moon, one sky, all mortals, different
views
The pleasures of life swimming in
laughter
Are sought after in money
The treasures of life hidden in us
Are sought after in things
The marrow of life living in friendship
Is sought after in fame
The meaning of life glaring in love
Is sought after in questions
No one sees what is, we seek what
should be
Which being never made to be
Never will be.

If Youd Ever Needed Someone

Stop right there and listen,
Before you say something you might regret
I know somethings missing
But I cant begin to accept what you said
Maybe, you can show me
Exactly where Im goin wrong
Cos lately Ive been thinking
Maybe Ive been round here too long
If youd ever needed someone in your life
Maybe then youd know
Why my heart just wants you to stay
But my head tells me lo let her go
If youd ever needed someone
One way or another
Whatever I do it seems you criticize
Is there any wonder
The hurt that I feel is so thinly disguised
I cant help but notice
Little things that tell me so much
Is it only a matter of time
Before Im missing your tender touch?
If youd ever needed someone in your life
Maybe then youd know
Why my heart just wants you to stay
But my head tells me to let her go
If youd ever needed someone
If youd put yourself in my place
You could never say whats gone is gone
If youd ever needed someone

Lowdown

Pop
I dont want to throw away my time
Playing games I dont respect or like
I cant give away my sovereignty
To existence with no song of me
And the hole in my heart
Im lowdown
Theres a hole in my heart
Im low
Theres a hole in my heart
Im lowdown
Theres a hole in my heart
Im low
I built myself a beautiful brick wall
Gets a little higher every day
_? _ ignorance inhabits me
Cause Ive already chased my love away
And the hole in my heart
Im lowdown
Theres a hole in my heart
Im low
Theres a hole in my heart
Im lowdown
Theres a hole in my heart
Im low
Take that happy banner off the wall
I dont need to see no smiling face
All I really wants a cup of tea
To feel a warmth inside of me
And the hole in my heart
Im lowdown
Theres a hole in my heart
Im low
Theres a hole in my heart
Im lowdown
Theres a hole in my heart

Yes, That Reflection Is Me

When you look in the mirror do you like your reflection,
Or does it bring back a bad recollection,
Why are you suffering after all these years,
Those thoughts of abuse still brings you to tears.

Whenever you think of it you feel you must cry,
You feel you're responsible you wish you could die,
You were but a victim you're dignity taken,
By a beast whose morals they had long forsaken.

This is an issue society has fudged,
The innocent victims are made feel they are judged,
Though you are the person who is truly affected,
The abuser is the one who is then protected.

You were the victim of a heinous crime,
Yet you are the one still doing the time,
The criminal moves on you're left standing still,
But this need not be if you show you've the will.

It's now time to live life you are not an outcast,
No blame lies with you so you must bury that past,
You did nothing wrong that you must know,
If you start to believe then your spirit will grow.

Your life will be yours without being a chore,
You will love who you are forever more,
I would never suggest that you'll ever forget,
But you did nothing wrong you should have no regret.

When that scumbag has gone I think you will find,
You will start to enjoy life you will clear your mind,
That's when you'll really start to believe,
There is nothing in life which you cannot acheive.

So pick yourself up from the depths of despair,
It's a known fact that life isn't fair,
When you feel like crying take appropriate action,
By defeating your demons you will gain satisfaction.

You're no longer the victim you have earned the right,
To be who you are now the end is in sight,
Though there were times your life was rotten,
Those terrible times should now be forgotten.

You must start now it is never to late,
It's now time to take charge of your own fate,
With help you can dig yourself out of that hole,
For the rest of your life you will be in control.

Then when your life is back on track,
you can look in that mirror and say, '' I Am Back ''
When you build up the courage to set your mind free,
You'll take pride in saying,

'' Yes, That Reflection Is Me ''

Experience God's Loving Grace

I grew up believing I was a Christian, but I did not know The Lord,
For the first thirty years of my life, His Word was totally ignored.
Attending church I was led to believe I lived in a Christian nation,
But personally I never heard of Grace or even understood Salvation.

Living in such spiritual ignorance, my life at times was a disgrace.
However, The Lord used my lovely wife to help me seek His face.
Through her gentle witness The Lord brought me to a time and place,
Where The Spirit opened my heart to experience God's loving Grace.

It wasn't enough to know about God believing that He was always near,
For even the demons believe in God and they shudder with holy fear.
Things became clear when God gave me eyes to see and ears to hear,
That He's not only my God who's near but a friend who's so very dear.

Now I no longer ignore His Word, and He's with me throughout my day,
Christ leads me with The Spirit of God down His Glorious Narrow Way.
And anytime day or night should my heart become filled with dismay,
The Spirit leads me to God's Throne of Grace and even helps me pray.

My friend, my life is so much richer now that I truly know the Lord,
And as I grow in The Lord, my love for God's Word grows even more.
Friend if you read His Word and you'll understand why it has endured,
It's not simply a book by men but God's Word that's certain and sure.

An Invitation.

She invited Joey
to her apartment
on the second floor

and as she opened the door
her dog came
barking along the hall

Shut up Bonaparte
she said
Go away

and the mutt walked back
with its tail
between its legs

to its basket
under the table
and she ushered Joey in

and closed the door behind her
and said
What would you like to drink?

tea coffee coke beer?
Coke will be fine
he said

and she told him
to go sit in the lounge
and once he sat down

he looked around the room
and on the small table
by the sofa where he sat

was a photograph of her
and her husband
taken on their wedding day

she dressed in white
and smiling
and he in a black suit

like a hit man
in a mobster movie
and she came in

with his coke
and set it on the table
by the sofa

and then went out again
swaying her behind
which made him smile

then she was back
with a tall glass
of white wine

and she set it down
on the table beside him
and sat down

and began talking
about the night
he had met her

and her husband
in the bar in town
and how she had invited

him over to meet her husband
and he had bought them
both a drink

and while her husband
talked to his friend
she had flirted with him

and made him laugh
and how after that
they'd all meet

on Friday evenings
in the same bar
and her husband

had invited him
to their place
to play chess

and he remembered
how he used to play chess
holding off letting

her husband win
so he could stay longer
and see her more often

and then she leaned over
to get her drink
and she put one hand

on his thigh
and reached over
for her wine

and he smelt her scent
and the brush of her hair
as she leaned over him

and having her glass
she leaned back
her hand still resting

on his thigh
and that look of mischief
burning in her eye.

We Dug A Hole

His head is a big black hole
full of big black things
and it sucks so hard
you could never against the mud
Sugar plum, no ones ever seen anything come
ouch, what a travesty, what a sad fate
someone get a band-aid please
we gotta get this guy a machine for his cranium
I mean I don't need
maybe I don't hear what i need
this never really goes anywhere
We dug a hole
And put our heads in it
We dug a hole
We dug a hole
And put our heads in
This winter they come too quick and broad
with not enough hot spiced cider or cinnamon toast
you never think you know this but when you got a dead start
sucking up both times in your brain
things start to change
and for the record let me say
its not his fault that things never change
the summer is always too short
and still they broke up for a guy with a black hole in his head
and you'll never meet him anyway
We dug a hole
And put our heads in it
We dug a hole
We dug a hole
And put our heads in it
We dug a hole
(We dug a hole)

Wealthy Man Don't Hoard Your Money

Some one else will own your property when you are dead and gone
The day you die the World won't stop life it will carry on
You've made it big, you've reached the top, you're plutocratic kind
But wealthy guy you too must die and leave your wealth behind.

You came out of your mother free of guilt and evil sin
But now you're just a money hoarder like all other greedy men,
Your dreams of wealth have all come true you are now a millionaire
But moneyed man you too will die as sure as cows wear hair.

There's nothing wrong with money without money man can't live
But in a man there must be what is known as take and give
And just like all other greedy men you never give but take
And the more money you accumulate the more you want to make.

Wealthy man don't hoard your money, don't be scared to spend a pound
Or someone else will spend it for you when your bones rest underground
Everybody hates a miser, no one loves a greedy soul
And you too will be forgotten when you're placed in earthy hole.
