Why he will go before going
Did he know he was coming?
If not, he has no right to go,
He will call him in nick time,
If yes, he is a terrific big liar,
Death will put him on fire.
Had he come of his own?
If not, who had sent him and why?
Before answering this, he can not die,
If life is such and such
He suffers too much,
Every one has or had to face
Suffering or pain is a test.
After every pain valuable wisdom gained,
Deeper the sadness sweeter the gladness,
Greater the adversaries more the advantages,
Coming and going are not a playing
Most and most a serious thing,
Even if, you have not the steering
But you have the duty to keep the ship running.

standing here across the see
the sea waves crash the rocks and end in the end

'Going out there is no other
coming back there is no trace'.
Love and care for one another,
Smooth the sadness from her face.
Like Orestes how she travels!
Light-foot ever, onward roams;
as the skein of life unravels,
everywhere she makes her homes.
Loves she keeps in golden cages,
(LOVE she smiles at from afar) ,
turns (with smiles) her golden pages
(climbs her grass blade to her star) .
Still the sadness does not leave her
though she smiles and smiles again
and her gladness like a fever
is shadowed round with wisps of pain.

Closer to Happiness
What do you get when you run away from
a predator? You get exactly what I'm
writing about: something chasing after
you. Not letting you go.
Walk around the house,
It's sunny outside.
It's nice,
Warm,
Pretty.
Then I hear the first of the
Trucks and I know
It's not going to end well.
No matter how far I get,
It always catches up to me.
I keep running.
Running away from all the hurt,
All the pain,
All the pessimism and all the suffering.
I keep running.
Running away from all the death,
All the heartbreak,
All the cancer and all the disease.
Trying to get farther from all that,
Closer to happiness.
He was a truck driver,
We saw him every once in a while.
It was nice,
Something we could rely on,
Then his cancer acted up again,
The chemo and radiation started,
And being a pessimist really sucked.
Being a realist sucks even more.
No matter how far I get,
It always catches up with me.
I keep running.

Well I was born six feet tall,
With no loving at all,
Had to rummage through my life of misery.
I had to go from place to place,
Never recognise my face,
I'm the moody man you never ever see.
Well, one day I placed a bet,
With the money I had left,
Did not know what the future held for me.
Through all the suffering and the pain,
If there's one thing that I've gained,
That's the patience that I now receive.

Good bye Sadness
She is so happy now
That you are out of her mind
You finally vanished
Good bye Sadness
Why are you called Sadness?
Because that’s the name they given you
You make people cry
You even made her cry too many times
There was a dark cloud hanging in her eyes
