Learning builds daily accumulation, but the practice of Tao builds daily simplification. Simplify and simplify, until all contamination from relative, contridictory thinking is eliminated. Then one does nothing, yet nothing is left undone. One who wins the world does so by not meddling with it. One who meddles with the world loses it.

Simplify
In this computer complicated, overrated material world I ask, “Why? ”
Why is there no time or reason to take hold of life and simplify?
Governments are so confusing that the people they are abusing
Have no way to understand to what degree they suffer from each lie.
Their hope, their only hope is to simply simplify.
A child’s life is simple and pure.
It learns when rights and wrongs occur.
Then its vision becomes confusing when it observes a world refusing
To simplify its ways; in fact it’s now a spurious maze
Where rich leave poor careening; wars have no meaning,
And man has left the elements teaming.
Though there is hope as the years rush by
Just take hold of life and simplify.
Instead of the implications of money, power and fame,
Let love’s admirations simplify your game.
Then no doubt you’ll change all the while
And happiness will rediscover that long lost smile.

What Is A Hero
A hero is a Dad,
who carries your heart onto his with his unconditional love.
A hero is a Dad,
who builds your first pair of wings to enable you to fly on your own.
A hero is a Dad,
who builds your faith when all hope tumbles out from your heart.
A hero is a Dad,
who builds you a magical ladder to keep you high off the ground.
A hero is a Dad,
who builds your confidence so you make it through the wind and rain.
A hero is a Dad,
who builds your strength beyond his own when your life with pain collides.
A hero is a Dad,
who knows when he must step aside when another hero has come to carry your heart onto his.
A hero is a Dad,
who builds his strength of having to let go when walking his little girl down the aisle to place her heart onto the heart of another hero.

They are deceptively simple. I admit that. But for me, all my life I try to simplify things. As a child in school, things were very hard for me to understand often, and I developed a knack, I think. I developed a process to simplify things so I would understand them.

He that gives good advice, builds with one hand; he that gives good counsel and example, builds with both; but he that gives good admonition and bad example, builds with one hand and pulls down with the other.

He who builds a house in the market-place, builds either too high or too low.
Where God builds a church, the devil builds a chapel.
The man who builds a factory builds a temple, that the man who works there worships there, and to each is due, not scorn and blame, but reverence and praise.

Watching Something Else...
i spin some letters, mostly consonants
for fear that so many vowels can be too noisy
sometimes we dwell more on the algebraic
x and y
z comes in to add more anonymity to the equations
that we grapple with everyday
looking for answers
with already prepared quadratic equations
to simplify life we offer simple equations
we reject too many complications and lessen the variables
eating breakfast, drinking the water
mastering the daily sequences and shying away from new innovations
there is no need for more vacations
they are all the same roads and seashores same malls and
delicacies, routine, colors of those items are not really changed,
the taste of that chicken is the same all over the world
be it in Austria or France or
Punta or Galas or Talisay or Sinonok
what matters is the compactness of your belief
inside no one can convince you no one can take you somewhere else

Love's Land
Oh Love builds on the azure sea,
And Love builds on the golden sand,
And Love builds on the rose-winged cloud,
And sometimes Love builds on the land!
Oh if Love build on sparkling sea,
And if Love build on golden strand,
And if Love build on rosy cloud,
To Love these are the solid land!
Oh Love will build his lily walls,
And Love his pearly roof will rear
On cloud, or land, or mist, or sea-
LOve's solid land is everywhere!

The Wonderful Future
She builds her own satellite
From an old rusted chair
She leaves this old world behind
And the things that she cares
Maybe she's gone but it won't be for long
What do I know?
Maybe she's found what we all dream about
What do I know?
She's beautiful and wonderful
I can't compare
It's wonderful
It's not that fair
She builds a strong alibi from the future that's here
She needs to know I'm alive
That I'm flesh and I tear
Maybe she's wrong but I wouldn't mind my own
What do I know?
Her best silicone with a touch of her soul
What do I know?
She's beautiful and wonderful
I can't compare
It's wonderful
It's just not fair

Character isn't inherited. One builds it daily by the way one thinks and acts, thought by thought, action by action. If one lets fear or hate or anger take possession of the mind, they become self-forged chains.
