Informed decision-making comes from a long tradition of guessing and then blaming others for inadequate results.

Inadequate
Inadequate.
It means not enough.
Like water in a glass half full
it is insufficient.
Some necessary bit is absent.
Inadequate is deficient.
It is vitamin C
in the diet of someone suffering from scurvy.
Inadequate is precisely what you feel
when you work yourself tired
for something your heart so desired
and in the end disappoint yourself still.
Inadequate is when you lack the will
to even try because somewhere inside
you just know you will fail.
Inadequate is someone when rejected.
Something inadequate is something defective.
Inadequate can mean not deserving company
almost like you're invisible maybe,
too unimportant to like or hate.
This word 'inadequate'
resounds in my head of late.

Keep Me Informed
Keep me informed,
When you think you see dawn.
And you are through with darkness
That supplied subdued restlessness.
And you wish to move on!
Yes...
Keep me informed.
Keep me informed,
When you're hopelessness has gone.
I will be there,
To chip aware what is left of your despair.
And you are prepared to sing songs!
Yes...
Please keep me informed.
Keep me informed,
If you feel you've been wronged.
With me I will help you undo...
Bitterness I have felt too!
And we will build a love...
Recognized and true.
Yes...
That is what we will do.
If you keep me informed.
Just keep me informed,
Take your time...
But don't take that time too long!
I've been searching for you.
You are someone who sees through...
Clouds you wish to lift!
And I am here,
To assist with the lifting of it!
Yes...
Keep me informed.
I know together we belong!

Failures of perspective in decision-making can be due to aspects of the social utility paradox, but more often result from simple mistakes caused by inadequate thought.

What We Wanted All Along (Revised)
What We Wanted All Along (Revised)
The sun made a turquoise pool for me in saying
Goodnight, creating glaciers blue using clouds
drifting by - now to explain my take on Many
World's Theory:
Quantum theorists say make a decision and
worlds split - divergent choices fulfilled meet
at one point if the same effect results from
every choice
The Many Worlds fuse again, - when different
decisions lead to different results, worlds stay
apart, every new universe has to meet its very
own destiny
We prepare the mind to pick up signs of new
events through mediation, we choose whether
we participate or go another way, the sub-
conscious drives our minds
We're informed subliminally of what's to come,
free to agree or reject each destiny - thus we
shape our lives - if we don't understand
how it came about, life is agony
But if we fathom what is going on, we realise the
final end is what we wanted all along

Taking Too Long Is Not Recommended
The only drawback there is,
To making up one's mind...
With a final decision made,
Is the time, date and the year of it.
And what one believes is needed,
To decide.
If one still has high expectations,
Those awaiting for a response...
For a decision to be made.
And finally that day comes...
As if a light switch has been turned on!
That expectation once high,
Should be lowered considerably.
Since...
The likelihood of that decision made,
Being obsolete...
Is more than just likely a given!
'I'm sorry.
Who are you again?
You say we were the best of friends,
Back 'then'?
WHEN?
How far back is 'then'?
I don't remember you at all.
Oh...
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
I do!
Geeessshhh.
What happened to you?
You don't look the same at all.
I don't remember what was discussed.
What was it? '
The only drawback there is,
To making up one's mind...
With a final decision to make,
Is the time, date and the year of it.
And...
When one is requesting time to think things over,
Taking too long is not recommended.

The result is from luck.
Excess force breaks an object.
Inadequate force goes waste.
The fine line is hard to find.
Fate determines your results.

Into Whining
Into whining, into guessing, a day was guessing,
More important than mahogany, but upstairs;
Forming study, the question forbade us
As the apartment of knowledge entered our minds.
We were guessing and leading to answers,
Questions survived the chances, the telegrams;
There was lying more than us and everyone,
Yet the guesses welcomed us, as they were true.

Just in the past few years - since I've been making movies, which isn't a very long time - you now have a culture that is fascinated and informed about the box office in a way that sometimes filmmakers weren't even.

Whomever the love strikes,
On them it makes cracks, sooner or later.
Inadequate perception and inadequate
Reception provide the cause.

Definite Maybe
Got a letter through the post that says I dont exist.
Apparently the new computer thinks I wont be missed.
We need more facts, perhaps you would find out and forward them.
Theres no proof or trace or date or place or where or when.
Central informations got no news today (today).
Is there a change in my position?
No decision, no decision.
All I ever get is a definite maybe.
Head office thinks Im dead,
But Im not even ill.
How do I get attention,
Tell me who I have to kill.
Is there a change in my condition?
Not today.
The answer comes with repetition,
No decision, no decision.
round and round the circle goes,
Stood in line but the counter was closed.
And when I ask who is responsible,
Nobody knows, try one of those.
All I want is a yes or a no,
(all he wants is a yes or a no).
But all I ever get is a definite maybe.
Tried to make my life a misery,
But they dont want to know,
They dont want to know,
They dont want to know.
And all I ever get is a definite maybe.
No decision, no decision.
Surely there must be a way to open all the doors,
And wade through all the petty bureaucratic little laws.
Frustration everywhere I turn, I just get more and more.
Everyones got problems and theyve heard all mine before.
Oh, Im tired of making endless calls.
(somebody help this poor man.)
Banging my head against the wall.
I walk along an endless corridor,
Then I knock on the door, then I realize
That Ive been there before.
No one here can hear my case.
So all I ever get is a definite maybe.
When they say, no news today, get back in the queue,
What can I do? what can I do? what can I do?
No decision, no decision.
No decision.
All I ever get (no decision) is a definite maybe (no decision).

Unless, Of course...Some 'B's and 'C's Are Men
They've begun to remove the 'N' word.
From Tom Sawyer.
And other Mark Twain books.
It's the strain of being politically correct.
Although the 'B's and 'C's describing women,
Seems to no one to offend.
Unless,
Of course...
Some 'B's and 'C's are men.
Who appear to enjoy,
A defensiveness that employs...
Everyone's decision,
To feel inadequate AND a self consciousness...
To over dramatize and protect.

Guessing Games
Music: hall/j. allen
Lyrics: hall
When I met you I shouldve been warned
Ooh I could see you change from day to day
But you kept me guessing
Playing for fun
Whatll you do what would you say
Strange moods and jealous anger
A kind of passion that I cant explain
Youre high strung, thats attraction
But your act is driving me away
(guessing games) I dont wanna play those
Guessing game
(dont wanna)
Please dont make me playem no
(guessing games)
I dont wanna play those
(guessing games)
Games
You gotta give me something to hold
That cute routine you got is wearing thin
So baby can you do it for yourself and for me
I dont wanna lose you, I want us to win
Strange moods jealous anger
That kind of passion that you cant explain
Youre high strung thats a fact
But dont you let it drive me away
(guessing games) cause I dont wanna play those
Guessing game
(dont wanna)
Please dont make me playem no
Guessing games
I dont wanna play those
Games
