In my opinion, he only may be truly said to live and enjoy his being who is engaged in some laudable pursuit, and acquires a name by some illustrious action, or useful art.

He who carries out one good deed acquires one advocate in his own behalf, and he who commits one transgression acquires one accuser against himself. Repentance and good works are like a shield against calamity.
Publicity is a great purifier because it sets in action the forces of public opinion, and in this country public opinion controls the courses of the nation.

We hear much of a decent pride, a becoming proud, a noble pride, a laudable pride. Can that be decent, of which we ought to be ashamed? Can that be becoming, of which God has set forth the deformity? Can that be noble which God resists and is determined to abase? Can that be laudable, which God call abominable.

Strange Pursuit
Intersecting love lines
Drew us closer every day
Always kept your distance
When you felt my presence near you
Love keeps on rolling over
Fly in retreat
I would follow without shame
A stupid spud staggering to the flame
To be had and rehad
Be a victim of the pain
Now its strange, its so strange
Its a strange pursuit
Its a strange pursuit
Its a strange pursuit
I come running like a fatboy
In lead shoes
But like a fatboy
Huff puffing after you
Its hopeless to hope for
The one thing that Im wanting
cause its strange
Its so very strange
Its a strange pursuit
Darling, Im dazzled
But you know Im too frazzled
Its a strange pursuit
Makin my mind up
While it lies in little pieces
Its a strange pursuit
You know its getting tough
When youre getting real rough
Its a strange pursuit
Darling, Im dazzled
But you know Im too frazzled
Its a strange pursuit
Makin my mind up
While it lies in little pieces
It s a strange pursuit

For many decades now - and certainly during my adult life in academe - the Western intellectual world has not been convinced that theology is a pursuit that can be engaged in with intellectual honesty and integrity.

Verb: That's What's Happening
I get my thing in action
To be, to see, to feel, to live
And i put my heart in action
To run, to go, to get, to give
'cause that's where i find satisfaction
To search, to find, to have, to hold
When i use my imagination
I think, i plot, i plan, i dream
Turning in towards creation
Well i make, i write, i dance, i sing
'cause i get my thing in action
Yeah i get my thing in action
Go!
When i'm feeling really active
Well i run, i ride, i swim, i fly!
Other times when life is easy
Oh i rest, i sleep, i sit, i lie
I can take a noun and bend it
Make it a verb and really send it!
'cause i get my thing in action
And i don't know my own power
I can question; like what is it?
I can order; like go get it!
When i need i really need it
When i see i got to have it
'cause i put my thing in action
Yeah i put my thing in action
Yeah i get my thing in action
And i don't even know my power
No!

Heroines?
Today all talk a lot about Pussy Riot,
The girls from Russia that couldn't keep quiet.
OK, I agree! It's their right to fight
With the things they don't like.
I can understand any strike.
Even when you have to take a gun,
But … sorry to say that,
I condemn their action as the dirtiest one.
They've become the world known heroines
Because of their dirty actions.
Dancing in masks in the church
It's the moral lurch.
You can agree with me or not
But that horrible action was not done on the spot.
To my opinion it was just bought.
But tell me please: for what?
Whooping the slogans against Putin in a church
Looked like the devil's search.
They certainly should be released from prison
As their action is not the reason
To be punished like that.
Their dirty action is a fact,
But… if we are a civilized society
And would like to be a mighty,
We have to forgive and then ignore
If we don't like to repeat it any more.

Ch 03 On The Excellence Of Contentment Story 12
One of the ullemma had many eaters to provide for and only a slender income. This fact he communicated to a great man of whose character he entertained a very favourable opinion but his expectations were disappointed because the man made a wry face and averred that according to his opinion applications from respectable persons for aid are unbecoming.
With a face made sad by misfortune, to a dear friend
Do not go because thou wilt embitter his life also.
For the needful for which thou appliest, go with a fresh and smiling face.
The man of joyful countenance will not be unsuccessful in his affairs.
It is related that the great man augmented his stipend a little but considerably diminished his familiarity towards him and when he perceived after some days that it was not as usual, he recited:
‘Evil is the food which the time of degradation acquires.
The kettle is indeed placed but the dignity is lowered.’
He increased my bread but diminished my honour.
Poverty is better than the degradation of asking.
Reaction To Action
(spoken: check 1, 1, 1)
Alright
Its hard getting through to me
Im truly elusive
I got my own point of view
I am the one of a kind
And I tell you lil girl
Im fascinated by you
Theres something about you
That makes all the difference
Like the night is to day
Well I can get along without you
But I know that within you
Youve got what Im missing
And Ill find a way
To get reaction to action
Hey, say the word that would thrill me
Yeah, I need reaction to action
Just one look that would kill me
You got a way of drawing attention to you
You know you stand out in a crowd
But the way that you play
With any mans affections
Should never be allowed
See I consider myself
The one who will show you
Id go as far as to say
Girl, I aint leaving here without you
But you better understand
Theres only one rule in this game were gonna play
And thats reaction to action
Maybe like a word that would thrill me
I need reaction to action
One look that would kill me
Give me reaction to action
Its getting late Id better make a definite move
Reaction to action
And after that baby, its up to you
I need reaction to action
Just a word that would thrill me
I need reaction to action
You know what Im talking about
Give me some reaction to action
You got a look, you got a way thatll kill me
Reaction to action, reaction to action, action
Baby, dont think about it, just react
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action
Reaction to action

Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.

Snatching
The one, who is particular that his wife
Must be a virgin, share0 with him alone
Her flesh and love and shall, otherwise, be
Over-thrown outright, ignores these norms
When he’s engaged with another woman,
Who had given her flesh and love to her
Husband and is a proven second hand,
And yet he is mad of her in pursuit.
Withholding and snatching are at work.

Mr. Grieves
Hope everything is alright hope everything is alright
What's that floating in the water
Oh neptune's only daughter
I believe
In mr. grieves
Pray for a man in the middle
One that talks like doolittle
I believe
In mr. grieves
Do you have another opinion
Do you have another opinion
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
Got bombed got frozen
Got finally off to a finally dozing
I believe
In mr. grieves
Do you have another opinion
Opinion
Do you have another opinion
Do you have another opinion
You can cry you can mope
But can you swing from a good rope
Oh i believe
In mr. grieves
Hope everything is alright
Hope everything is alright

Realmbrations
realmbrations -
every realm vibrates
to its own
i have yet to evolve
to view them all
okay, to view only
for if my physique vibrates
to the same rhythm
to even one other realm
it would cause crashes
realmnilation
the mockingbird
when it sucks paradise
from the blooms,
you see two realms
one clouded by the vibrations of its wings
but if you could go fast enough
you could jump
between its up and down
the realms survive
at the edge of each other
the dead acquires another vibration,
goes to live with their like
if we fail to evolve
to see these realms
we could invent something
realmseescope
to detect all the realms between us,
tuning to them
the way we manoevre the
volume of radios
or may be invent a secret weapon
to get them to vibrate to a similar rhythm
and cause a realmnilation
or may be not, for every realm
might be installed with an auto protect system
each realm acquires another rhythm
once it detects danger looming
the way moths and frogs change colours
to keep to their own realm
