External Looks
When an emphasis is placed on one's appearance,
And external looks.
A shallow mindset begets surfaced sincerities.
With an onslaught of unresting solicited approval.
Never to soothe those on a quest...
To be accepted with self expression questioned.
And any compliments given,
Are subject to be suspected.
When an emphasis is placed on one's appearance,
And external looks...
A neglect of an internal reflection,
Shows on those mindless who feed on inspection.

I have been trying to point out that in our lives chance may have an astonishing influence and, if I may offer advice to the young laboratory worker, it would be this - never to neglect an extraordinary appearance or happening.

Guest Speaker
I am not here to participate in your nonsense!
Wherever on Earth did you get that idea?
That I treat you with respect,
Does not mean I'm open season
For you to neglect mine!
When do you find the time
To fill your head with this BS?
You amaze me!
But that's not awe.
You amaze me in ways,
That you actually believe you are irresistable!
That's astounding!
Since I've been trying to get way from you!
You don't have to follow me...
OR call security!
I was not asked to dress in suit and tie!
I was 'invited' to be the guest speaker.
Did my appearance throw you off?
I mostly get that look you give me now...
After I speak!

It seems to me that in the western world, culture has something to do with appearance. A person that's out creating good stuff has got to appreciate someone when they take the time to have an appearance that goes with what they're doing.

Those Most Dependable
Those most dependable,
Are not the ones we show...
A giving of respect.
They're often people we neglect.
Those most dependable,
Are not the ones we show...
A giving of respect.
They're often people we neglect.
We take for granted when we panic,
Those who'll fix our needs.
And when they've finished doing that,
We don't show them we're pleased.
Those most dependable,
Are not the ones we show...
A giving of respect.
They're often people we neglect.
And on them we're dependent,
But we choose them to offend.
We think of them to think of us,
When daylight comes until it ends.
Those most dependable,
Are not the ones we show...
A giving of respect.
They're often people we neglect.
We take for granted when we panic,
Those who'll fix our needs.
And when they've finished doing that,
We don't show them we're pleased.
The most dependable...
Are often people we neglect.
The most dependable...
Are often people we neglect.
The most dependable...
Are often those we disrespect.

Sperm or No Sperm
All of a sudden he decides,
He wants to be in his children's lives.
They have been long on their own.
And alone they grew up...
Until they were grown.
Now 'daddy' decides,
He'd like to be a father by their side.
All of a sudden he wants to play dad.
Even his ex-wife and grandchildren...
Don't think of him.
And when they do those thoughts are sad.
He has lived his life,
Being one of the 'boys'!
And now that he has put away his toys...
He shows up...
To annoy!
And all who witness this,
Agree!
Wherever he has been and whoever he is...
To them,
He remains an absentee father!
Sperm or no sperm,
He did not earn respect!
And as far as they are concern,
He can squirm his excuses elsewhere.
They have recovered from the 'affect'...
Of his neglect they have forgiven,
And forgotten!
And his appearance would be better if kept...
Invisible!

Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover
Don’t judge me by the way I look
and by the way I have my hair.
Don’t judge me by my dirty shoes
and by the way my jeans have tears.
Don’t think because I have tattoos
that I’m not nice to know.
Don’t think because I swear
that I have no feelings to show.
My appearance is a defence
to how I feel inside.
My sensitivity is my weakness
so my appearance is just a lie.

Appearance
Appearance, pear, pan, pen, appear, ear, era, cape, cap, pence;
Where the word of the king is,
There is power! !
But whoever keeps the commandments will experience nothing harmful.
Appearance, ace, rap, rape, reap, near, pace, pea, ape, an, race;
And like the muse of your love in the land of your birth,
But try to understand the systems around you!
For whoever keeps the commandments will experience nothing harmful.

History repeats
With more concern for my children,
I have put my parents in neglect.
With more concern for their children
My children too will put me in neglect.

To be desire-less is pleasure-less
Dream is born of desire;
By dream multiplies desire.
Desire is born of lust;
By desire flourishes lust.
Lust is born of jealousy;
By lust bulges jealousy.
Jealousy is born of insecurity;
By jealousy deepens insecurity.
Insecurity is born of neglect;
By insecurity worsens neglect.
Neglect is born of contempt;
You be away from such contempt.
Being away will give you relief;
The relief, in turn, will give peace.
But the world you miss.
To live, then, is of no use.

Thank You for Your Appearance, Mr James
From polite acquaintances, “Good Afternoon”
At the office, a single glance and a polite tip of the head
To teacher and student
A lesson to be remembered;
How to be strong, how to learn from your mistakes
How to recognise inner beauty
For that
Thank You for your Appearance.
You, witnessing my growth from
Careless child to a much better human
My performances, my confidence
And lastly my success at overriding the rocks in my path
Is due to you, my teacher
Thank you for your appearance
In my life

Put Off Your Old Self
As New Creatures pulled out of darkness, we've been given new sight,
But, many professing Christians continue to live as if in the night.
We have been saved to be a blessing and to give the lost real hope,
And to fulfill our awesome task Christ's likeness must be our cloak.
Believers are not to be conformed to a world that will be condemned,
This also includes avoiding any appearances of evil my dear friend.
Avoiding the appearance of evil in this day is not a new revelation,
For living above this world's standards is The Lord's expectation.
But once you submit to The Lord and give His Word full adherence,
You will be lead by The Holy Spirit, and will avoid evil appearance.
Paul told us 'to put off your old self' with the world's filthiness,
And be clothed in garments that are truly The Lord's Righteousness.
Our appearance as a Christian does more then you can imagine or see,
A Godly appearance draws people to God who presently do not believe.
A choice to be different is a sign that you have some Hope to share,
For who would go to an unbeliever to get Truth in time of despair?
You may fool your family and your friends, but this you can be sure,
The Lord, whom you can not deceive, will one day knock at your door.
Finally Christ's illustration of the Wedding Banquet is quite clear,
Ignore Christ's way for your own and you may have something to fear.

Never Together Again
I am not like you,
And you are just like that.
How can you demand,
When I've asked from you something?
I don't think I should command.
Or expect respect.
That should be given.
Of that I do not neglect.
And you expect it?
When you neglect it?
I am not like you,
And you are just like that.
I try to be hospitable.
I don't welcome with attacks.
To bite and then regret.
To greet and meet to leave upset.
I am not like you.
I welcome not condescend.
Nor do I solicit attention,
To be focused on me.
Using that as a forum,
To exploit me on the scene.
I am not like you.
I could never be like that.
But I can be quite indignant,
When I learn I've been scandalized...
Behind my back,
By you.
I am not like you,
And you are just like that.
Bitter.
And unable to forgive.
Baiting to become the center of attention.
And using me as the subject,
Of your sorrows.
I am not you,
But you are just like that.
And that is why you and I,
Have no tomorrows...
To await for apologies to soothe.
With alibis and excuses too.
I am not you,
But you are just like that.
And that is why you and I,
Could never experience another forever,
Ever together,
Again.

I Saw You
The days I saw you my life was concluded,
You bedazzled me afterwards with your leering look;
It reminded me of an individual who was bolstered by excellence,
He was with this likeness, and he was with this appearance.
The glove fits, the hands are squashed by it,
As your appearance is sufficient, and I am forever in love.
That man is not here, but there,
He is not positive of his life as much as you,
He is gaining my admiration, but you are more.
Fortune bombards me now, more than bullets and stones,
The distractions are upon me now, just now.
The memory of you glistens like a simple stone of excellence,
I am dreary now, just sleepy, and my dreams are alive,
There is a morning in which I have met you,
And tomorrow will be an excellent day for us.

On Freedom
In a dream I'm no longer in love. I breathe deeply this sense of freedom,
and I vow never again to seal myself in, but I am reminded it is myself I love
also and that too is a kind of sealed condition. I am committed to taking
care of my body and its home accommodations, its clothes and neat
appearance that I admire in the mirror, yet I would like to know what it
would be like freed of brushing my teeth, washing my neck and face and
between my toes. I'd like to know, as I neglect to move my bowels, and
stay away from food that could sustain my health, and do not change my
underwear, and let odors rise from my crotch and armpit. I stick out my
tongue at the image in the mirror showing me my ragged beard and sunken
eyes and hollow cheeks, free of my self-love at last, and I sink onto the
bathroom floor, feeling life begin to seep out of me, I who haven't eaten
since last month. I'm dying and I'm free.

Love Is Sacred
Neither love is simple matter to be wrongly misinterpreted
Nor can be taken casually or unfairly treated
Cases have been reported where even dreaded people are transformed
World needs to be properly educated and informed
Flower just represents emergence of inbuilt feeling
Lovely appearance and color may crate willingness
That is place where love emanates and mushrooms
All sorts of praise for it take place in isolated rooms
Love is never different so is its appeal
No one can neglect it or try to repeal
It comes in the form of strong invitation
Any one may be spell bound to have relation
Love can not categorized like desert, sea or air
Chances to get it not always fair
It can make a person either trustworthy
Or beggar in street asking for mercy
Love is sacred in any form
It is like emergence of an earth worm
Slowly makes place inside the heart
Flower in any form may look to us as heavenly art

Influence
We are all just a canvas
media is the artist
if you let it shape you
the big companies the largest
try to brain wash what they think is true
but I was raised by my dad a working man's
morals of wrong and right
not afraid to stand up and fight
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression
Thanks to the media we got kids
confused about love and lust
its hard to trust
we gotta educate the mind
cant sit back and recline
while watching the world become cold
It's effecting the
young and the old
If only we could unite but instead
social classes are what
I see in this site
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression
eagerness to learn should bring us closer
together
we will never surrender
I speak for the families that
dont eat
the mothers and fathers
who cant sleep with the
daily stress of bills on
their minds and hoping their
landlords will let them stay
another day
free of pay
a revolution is the solution
to fight the mind pollution
Unity will be the conclusion
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression
all the hate with money at the core
if food wasn't so expensive
and gas prices were lower
maybe crime rates
would climb slower
we need to make a change
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression

Stacked On Platters
The relevance of forgiveness,
Has distanced the significance of it...
From making an influential appearance.
Indignities are serve and presented,
As a choice on a menu selected to eat.
To feast upon by many shown licking their fingers.
The relevance of forgiveness,
Has distanced the significance of it...
From making an influential appearance.
And those preparing for the main course are teased,
With the passing aound of hors d'oeuvres...
Heated with biases to please and stacked on platters.

Result of Your Creation
You don't care where it comes from.
Nor does a hint or clue,
Interest you.
Although it has come to confront...
You rather grunt in irritation.
Nothing about its appearance,
Stirs within you a contemplation to explore...
The origin.
You rather ignore it.
Just like everything you do that is done.
Everyone has begun to notice the crumbling...
Coming to do what has to be done that stuns,
But you!
You don't care where it comes from.
Nor do you wish to know,
It is what you reflect and your neglect
Has left it to grow!
To bring some to weep and many to sow.
Whether or not you accept it to harvest...
Does not affect the effectiveness of the trap.
And the setting of it,
Accepted or not is too damaging for you to take back!
Turn your head on that if you will.
But it is still a result of your creation!
A devastation of a planted ignorance...
You believed would bloom into fruit you would eat!
Like quick sales of stolen goods on urban streets!
Your mindlessness comes back to defeat you!
You don't care where it comes from.
Nor does a hint or clue,
Interest you.
Either you are too blind...
Or being ignorant is a desire you wish,
With a hope others will find in time!
And that time is not too far from your behind.
Unfortunately...
It is your mind that has come to find these times appealing!
With every denial you bring.
