Influence
We are all just a canvas
media is the artist
if you let it shape you
the big companies the largest
try to brain wash what they think is true
but I was raised by my dad a working man's
morals of wrong and right
not afraid to stand up and fight
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression
Thanks to the media we got kids
confused about love and lust
its hard to trust
we gotta educate the mind
cant sit back and recline
while watching the world become cold
It's effecting the
young and the old
If only we could unite but instead
social classes are what
I see in this site
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression
eagerness to learn should bring us closer
together
we will never surrender
I speak for the families that
dont eat
the mothers and fathers
who cant sleep with the
daily stress of bills on
their minds and hoping their
landlords will let them stay
another day
free of pay
a revolution is the solution
to fight the mind pollution
Unity will be the conclusion
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression
all the hate with money at the core
if food wasn't so expensive
and gas prices were lower
maybe crime rates
would climb slower
we need to make a change
I want to be free of oppression
no more neglect and aggression
blood is the nations confession
we want progression

We know that dictators are quick to choose aggression, while free nations strive to resolve differences in peace. We know that oppressive governments support terror, while free governments fight the terrorists in their midst. Good Bye Aiden
Sitting in the room of shadows wondering if the beauty laden
Laden by the lonesome darkness guided by the night’s amour.
Love it fills the night of question; about the doubtless future succession
For the morning’s eve progression, progression towards the closing door
Hushing whispers of choice uniting, in the movement of the maiden
Oh the maiden lonely sitting upon the venerable door.
Sodden by the rains aggression; the wan face sits with no expression;
To avoid the precarious transgression, transgression of the note in his drawer.
Cannular heart pulses in a manner; that it burdens the day with thoughts of Aiden.
Aiden, sweet Aiden smoldering the sun, that has shaken her core,
The man who consumes her mind’s obsession, what an agitated depression.
Depression that was once progression, progression towards the closing door.

Got To Be Free
(malik pendelton/nicole johnson)
Ive got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Ive got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Long goodbyes, stolen glances
Cant explain all thats happened in our past
Im tired of creating lies to be alone
Im living wrong, were living wrong
More and more you make me
Afraid to come around
You take the pleasure out of being in love
And being down and down and down and down and down
For the one whos there for me
All I really want to be is free, yeah
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
You dont know why, havent got a clue
In the dark about why I am leaving you
You cant expect me to go on this way
No, I cannot stay, I will not stay
More and more you make me
Realize what I have home
Whats taboos exciting
But sometimes it just gets old
Sometimes it just gets old
For as long as I am me, boy
All I really want to be is free
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free
Ive got to be free, got to be free
Gotta be, gotta be free

Making The World A Safer Place
If humanity truly aspires, to globally evolve interact,
aspires to make the world a better safer place, for all people;
then would we, should we, not cooperate to fight crime?
Should we create an International Criminal Court
a permanent tribunal to prosecute individuals;
for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes,
and the crime of aggression against other nations?
Would this help stop wars, aid the cause of world peace?
Should we cooperate internationally, to stop crimes of aggression?
Would this be an effective aid, in wars against terrorism?
Rejoice global peace loving nations, have indeed created,
supported in law, such an International Criminal Court.
The International Criminal Court, the ICC, currently it
cannot, will not; be able to exercise
jurisdiction over the crime of aggression;
in any way before the year 2017 but
slowly steadily we are making progress,
in the right direction, yet still the question
lingers, is progress fast enough to save us?

Comin' Around
I see you comin round the bend
I just cant think of anything that can make me smile like you can
I see you comin round the bend
I just cant think of anything that can make me smile like you can
Theres a portion of the south in the spirit of this song
Keep followin the fiddle, itll never steer you wrong
Ive lived a lot of life so my innocence is blown
Im headin to the grave to replenish it at most
Ive been across the globe and Ive seen the worlds charm,
I taught em my slang, I didnt mean the world harm
It makes the soul smile to see what Ive accomplished
I got up out the woods without a map or a compass
Life does change, and the sun does set
But my last breath aint a one gust yet
As long as daddy know that his son does sweat
The same as he did for that uncut check
Ill sleep fine and a child will come
With the same last name as my poppas sons
And you can rest assure that my son will know
That his Da-da wasnt a one-squeal show
[Chorus]
One time for the New Souths imminent progression
Aint the good lord so generous with blessings
Whenever it was needed hed send me some direction
Id gaze up at the sky and take a minute for reflection
Is it baby balls, or a miniature erection
It makes you view change with degenerate dejection
Pay no nevermind to what the senators confession
He dont really mean it, he just winning his election
Nothing they can do to have prevented this obsession
With the vaccination of innocence infection
My heart is behind it if I hint it or suggest it
I finish with aggression but meant it with affection
To the common man at the end of his oppression
Welcome into church only meant for collection
And the common woman, genders no exception

Locksmith
When I was younger
I took women for granted
With my mother not being around
And my fathers words being the only sound
I decided at a young age
I could never trust a girl
Then came love
Or at least that's what they call it
The most devastating thing
I could imagine
I remember the late nights turning
Into early mornings
With nothing but stress on my mind
Followed by a shallow depression
And deep aggression
The disturbing progression
And as I grew older
And more girls
I did meet
My trust stayed the same
Locked away
The only key to be found
Was in her hand
The one girl I did trust
The one girl I couldn't get over
The one girl that left me
The one girl I don't talk to anymore
She has the key
And I didn't get a chance to make a spare
My only hope is a locksmith.

The 'Ession' Session
A symptom of a national recession,
Is widespread and collective depression,
Employees from every profession,
Just surviving, but at what concession.
There's a justified wave of aggression,
At the immoral bankworld transgression,
The piecemeal government intercession,
But nothing in the way of confession.
So with continuing fiscal compression,
And an upsurge in house repossession,
The country since Brian Cowan's accession,
Has suffered a quite seismic regression.
Now the Celtic Tiger's dispossession,
Has stemmed the money-making obsession,
But those in charge don't give the impression,
They're in touch with our poorest's oppression.

For too long, many nations, including my own, tolerated, even excused, oppression in the Middle East in the name of stability. Oppression became common, but stability never arrived. We must take a different approach. We must help the reformers of the Middle East as they work for freedom, and strive to build a community of peaceful, democratic nations.

U Bring Me Down
Dont tell me what you are
Dont tell me what youre after
Dont tell me what you want
Dont tell me what you need
Arent you just the one to always point the finger
I dont care for you cos you dont care for me !
U bring me down........repeat
Counter rap
U bring me down/youre giving me no hope
Sucking off our land/blowing off the smoke
Virus in the veins/that run into the sea
Poisoning the world/with youre generosity
U bring me down/youre killing me with lies
You take away our ears/ wont take away my eyes
The red red sea will return unto the vein
Covering the world/are you happy with your gain
Refrain
I could breathe, I could fly
The day before you came
(think you own my skin now)
Break the chains, free the slave
Turn the tides against you now
Talking to the sky
You promise evolution
Progression of the mind
By selling of the soul
The last will be the first
In the dust of revolution
Someone cares for me
But no one cares for you
Refrain 2
Will I breathe? will I see?
Far beneath the clearest stream
(to the deepest ocean)
Break the chains, free the slaves
Give back the blood, that you drain from this world now

Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time; the need for mankind to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to oppression and violence. Mankind must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.

Confession
Listen up
This is confession
This machine motion is sure to break my heart
Listen up
This is confession
Recorded music sticks in the throat of god.
I o u, you dont own me
I o u, you dont own me
Party time, one mor night, everybodys affected
Listen up
This is confession
You are a poison that flows into my veins.
Listen up
This is confession
Ive never been so scared of letting you down.
You know me, so come closer
You know me, so come closer
Party time, one more town, everybodys affected.
I know you, you dont need me
I know you, you dont need me
Party time, one more girl, everybodys affected
Listen up
This is confession
They tell me heaven just has to be somewhere
Listen up
This is confession
Id lie to God if I could make him believe.
You owe me, and I need you
You owe me, and I need you
Party time, one more game, everybodys affected
This is my confession
This is my confession
Party time, one more lie, everybodys affected

Tomorrow Is Soon Enough…
Men serve a need for violence n’ aggression
To satisfy reptilian brains thirsty for blood
By wreaking havoc with war n’ oppression
Turn what was once an Eden into toxic mud
Men have forgotten how to feel n’ pray
Whilst mothers, wives n’ children cry
They know not that some day all will pay
And that tomorrow is soon enough to die
Wake up!
Turn away from evil because it’s not too late
Understand…
Choices made today decide tomorrow’s fate

My Fight For Irish Freedom
'My fight for Irish freedom' the autobiography of Dan Breen
But perhaps he should have called his book 'When young blood stained the green'
For human blood for freedom too huge a price to pay
And liberty or freedom define it anyway.
The freedom of expression whatever that might be
To speak our minds on certain things we are not truly free
Look at poor Salman Rushdie his book you may have read
For his satanic verses some people want him dead.
From the point I am about to make you may think I tend to stray
And what has Rushdie got to do with Irish freedom you might say
But for freedom of expression there has been a World-wide
fight
And yet fear is a deterrent to a basic human right.
The fight for Irish freedom whatever that might mean
For there is more to freedom than the 'wearing of the green'
In Ireland like all Nations there is inequality
Of prejudice and class distinction the World is yet not free.
The ill fated Easter Rising in Dublin of the year nineteen sixteen
And my fight for Irish freedom the story of Dan Breen
Is living on in history yet do we understand
That there is more to freedom than owning a piece of land.

Lessons
I'll tell you what I do
Inside of my bedroom
I wrap my arms around
Myself as I'm feeling
These pains
Void from healing
I only wish I could hold back this aggression
Please hear my confession
I try to keep myself from
Thinking about you
I can't live without you
You turned away from me
All of the lessons that
I had to learn and
All of the respect that
I had to earn and
You're the one that
Makes me understand
Life
I tell you what I do
Inside of my bedroom
When I wrap my arms around
Myself as I'm feeling
These pains
Void from healing
I only wish I could hold back this aggression
Please hear my confession
I try to keep myself from
Thinking about you
I can't live without you
You turned away from me
All of the lessons that
I had to learn and
All of the respect that
I had to earn and
You're the one that
Makes me understand

Dont sleep til the sunrise, listen 2 the falling rain
Dont worry bout tomorrow, dont worry bout your pain
Dont cry unless youre happy, dont smile unless youre blue
Never let that lonely monster take control of u
Be glad that u r free
Free 2 change your mind
Free 2 go most anywhere, anytime
Be glad that u r free
Theres many a man whos not
Be glad 4 what u had baby, what youve got
Be glad 4 what youve got
I know (my? ) heart is beating, my drummer tells me so
If u take your life 4 granted, your beating heart will go
So dont sleep until youre guilty, cuz sinners all r we
Theres others doing far worse than us, so be glad that u r free
Be glad that u r free
Free 2 change your mind
Free 2 go most anywhere, anytime
Be glad that u r free

Pray
Pray for me
As you would a child
In a land of oppression
Millions cry around the world
But I cry in your back garden
Pray for me
And Ill pray for you
Its no revolution
But its somethin -
Somethin we can do!
Pray all the day
All the -
All the day
All the day
Pray for me
As you do for peace
In a world of aggression
Hear me!
Must it make the news
For us to show some affection
Pray for me
And Ill pray for you
Its no revolution
But its somethin -
Somethin we can do!
Pray all the day
All the -
All the day
All the -
As it was in the beginning - so shall it be...
Until next week!

Just Because....
just because...
your skin is dark,
and mine is light...
does that demand fear and hate?
are our dreams not the same color?
do both of our hearts not pump red?
just because...
you speak a different language,
and your god has a different name...
does that demand fear and wars?
are our needs not the same?
are our families not tired of the deaths?
just because...
you have money,
and i dont...
does that demand fear and oppression?
is our hunger not one and the same?
do we not both have faces and names?
just because...
i am human, you are human!
equal in value, dependent on each other!
and none are free, until all are free!
