I loved the Godfather. I thought that was the best interpretation of our life that I've ever seen. Godfather I and Godfather II - the other one stunk.

I am so far as I am aware not at all influenced by dramatists, expect for Shakespeare, who I have to say, it is impossible not to be influenced by if you hold language to be the major element of theatre.

To Wake Up In A Time Where There Is Love
*'When will there be a time to love? '
Stevie Wonder wants to know.
No one arrived here,
Without the making of love.
Whomever disputes this...
To present it opposed and suspiciously denied,
Has more than denial on their unbelieving minds.
They also have a limited point of view and life,
Lived!
The time to give and manifest love is now.
Even if the acceptance of it is regarded as art.
Love has to start,
To be shown and expressed.
With the elimination of every disorder manmade,
On Earth reversed.
To witness the glowing of pride.
And thirsting to be released from mental stagnation.
'When will there be a time to love? '
Stevie Wonder wants to know.
And so do I.
I want to feel and know what it is like,
To wake up in a time where there is love.
Without the persistent wishes of an imagination.
I have got to witness this!
Note:
*'When Will There Be A Time To Love'
is a 'wonder'ful composition performed,
produced and written...
By Stevie Wonder
'Thank you, Stevie'

Pimpin' Ain't Easy
[ice-t]
Godfather's in the house..
Grab yo' bitches
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 4x)
Take a look at me, everything i own's iced out
Pimp baby, you can see my wrists with the lights out
This is how i do it, mad bitches and clothes
Godfather baby, only play to my rogues
Step back, hater make a little room for my hoes
Gators on my feet, take a look at my toes
Money is the reason all the real players know that
Godfather lays punks to rest
He got no chance up against the best
I rocks in the east and i rolls in the west
If you don't dig the pimpin i could really care less
Cause it's, pimp or die, pimp or die baby
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy..
G-o-d, f-a-t-h-e-r
Hoes start runnin when they see my car
Even though i'ma pro wrestling star
They know i, don't play and i gotta get paid
Everything i wear baby's tailor made
I come into your town and go off like a grenade
And anyone who steps on the mat they get laid
Let me pimp or let me die that's the game i chose
Condos, speedboats, and beautiful hoes
Cartier wristwear, furs and gold
And mad cash baby too much to fold
Cause it's, pimp or die, pimp or die baby
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Grab yo bitches!
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Big pimpin jumpin off!
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Godfather's in the house, bitch!
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy..
Break yourself bitch!
..
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't - pimp or die baby
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Grab yo bitches!
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 3x)
Big pimpin jumpin off!
Pimpin ain't pimpin ain't easy man (repeat 5x)
Grab yo bitches!

Dividends Expected
If anyone decides they'd like to get immediate feedback,
As to how their investment has progressed...
They need not look any further,
Than to the activities of their children.
And what and who has influenced them...
Along their paths when making their decisions.
When questions aren't asked answers aren't volunteered.
One who has invested time and devoted sacrifice,
Need not be too concern of their dividends expected.
Most times one can count on not experiencing a loss.
And those who have losses may be disappointed,
When all of their eggs have been 'cracked'...
And forced to be placed in one basket and mismatched,
To high expectations without periodic examination.
'But...
My portfolio was designed to retrieve specific,
And guaranteed returns.'
~But...
Times have changed.
And throwing money away...
Does not mean any of it should stick,
When the one receiving it takes it for granted...
Without it being earned to learn or acquire a purpose.~

Stevie D Jimmy And Melodie
Melodie adores Stevie D,
she compliments his style of dress to a T.
She has the memory of going to City Place
Stevie goes on the Improv comedy stage
Stevie does comedy and entertains.
Melodie laughs with Jimmy Dean,
it is one funniest acts they have ever seen!
Then Jimmy is next to go on stage,
his act is funny it's all the rage.
Melodie is then to be seen,
she is with Razel puppet and me.
Lighters light up in the air,
wild whistling everywhere,
Razel yells without a care,
'You know why I have no pupils? '
right before Melodie can jump in-
Razel has finished her line and committed the sin.
People are shocked and begin to talk.
Lights go out and Razel starts to shout,
I bow with the girls before I walk out.
What a time in 2005, where the Improv Stage comes alive.
Sharing the stage with Stevie D, Jimmy, Razel and Melodie.

You don't try to get influenced by everything that's going on with all the other music around you. You don't listen to the radio - I mean, I don't. When I get ready to do an album, I don't listen to anybody else; I don't wanna be influenced.

The Valentine’s Day
Today is Valentine’s Day.
I love you; I want to say why.
You’re a woman.
You aren’t old.
You’re in my vicinity.
You aren’t my property.
You’re in form.
You aren’t a storm.
You’re shy.
You aren’t sly.
You’re friendly.
You aren’t deadly.
Today is Valentine’s Day
I want to say my love to you.

The revelations of great men
If you do something good in return,
You aren’t good; you settled a due.
If you do something good intently,
You aren’t good; you simply invested.
If you ask pardon for a fevour,
You aren’t great; it’s a strategy.
If you give pardon to one mightier,
You aren’t great with no alternatives.
If you speak truth when comfortable
And be honest when convenient
You cannot boast of yourself as great
As any mean one could do them at ease.
You aren’t great being just in matters
Where being otherwise of no advantage.
You aren’t great with the veil you’ve made
Of good deeds to hide the ill gotten.
You aren’t great with philanthropy
From the undue or unfair wealth got.
But for few, all great men may forgive me
For the revelations made of them.

Simplistic Wishes
I am influenced by Poe.
But there is no comparison.
Maya too inspires.
And Langston seems to 'crystalize'...
The hardships of a people,
Observed through his unique eyes.
Those dark and emotional days,
Arriving with Sunrise...
And until Sunset left,
But within me stayed.
Aren't as dark,
To cast Moonlit shadows.
It seems I have graduated,
To controlled melancholy...
And free flowing sentiments.
I attribute that to aging.
As time releases,
Those reflections of memories...
More than ever to me meant.
I am influenced by Poe.
But there is no comparison.
Maya too inspires.
And Langston seems to 'crystalize'...
The hardships of a people,
Observed through his unique eyes.
And even though my own eyes,
Are opened wider than ever...
There is a sensitivity I've noticed increasing.
There is a connection to humanity,
That enables me to see each day...
Much brighter than the days before.
So bright with a clarity,
My simplistic wishes now...
Are to experience many many more.
With an opening of a door,
To adventure life,
With intentions to explore.

Aren't You The Friend You Promised Me That You Were?
I'm dragging my feet
I don't understand
Why when i'm down
You wont take my hand
Aren't you friend you promised me that you were?
You've built up my trust
You've taken it all
Please don't break my heart
Please don't let me fall
Aren't you the friend you promised me that you were?
I'm treading on
And i'm getting by
Even though i just feel the need to cry
Just answer this one question that i ask
Aren't i at least worth that?
Aren't you the friend you promised me that you were?
