But it is true that some magazines have a policy to show only a certain amount of black girls on their covers. Naomi is right. It's not fair, and I wish it would change.

Magazines
you see them everywhere
you know those magazines
yeah I've bought a few
they show you everything
so many news stands
as I'm passing by
but rows and rows of you
are bound to catch my eye
now everyone can gaze upon your body
its good for you - I guess you have no shame
I never knew if how I acted
would make you seek revenge
and now I know
and you're in magazines
but is it really you
in the empty world
I shouldn't be surprised
you're an ambitious girl
with all that naked skin as sweet as honey
Maybe you just really needed money
I wondered if I would be punished for
my voyeuristic pleasure
and now I know
and you're in magazines
and now I know
and you're in magazines
now I know
I tear through pages
of every kind of pose
but its not really you I see
when I look real close
no you're a little bit different
you're a little bit different
you're a little bit different
and now I know
and you're in magazines
now I know
and you're in magazines
I'm alone
and you're in magazines
so it never was you

If you've looked at all the glamour magazines lately, all the covers are actresses. If they are on those covers, they are going to try to emulate models. That's just the way it is.

Love Me - Love My Poetry
I once wrote some poetry - the best,
the finest POETRY
My POETRY came with a capital
"P".
My POETRY was distinguished
POETRY, proper, complete line of
Verse POETRY - honorable,
prehistoric, geographical POETRY
Divine, instinctive, even religious
POETRY -
I sent it to the magazines
The very good magazines
The very best magazines -
They returned it to me every time!
I once wrote some inferior POETRY
Low in style, irregular in measure
POETRY
Undignified, trivial, absurd POETRY
inadequate, mischievous, comic
POETRY
Some stuff like this - A CRIME -
I sent it to the magazines
The very good magazines
The very best magazines
They kept it every time!
Now, I ask of you - my question is
fair and brief - I ask
Of you - your ear I pray and beg you
give -
Shall I write intuitive,
comprehensive, reasoning
POETRY
Specific, Godlike, Capitol
committed POETRY
The sort I think will live?
Or shall I write inferior, very bad
POETRY - the kind that soon is
Dead - and send it to the magazines,
the very good, the best magazines
THAT I MAY LIVE INSTEAD!!!

Younger Girls
Words and music by robin zander and rick nielsen
Try to bend me, try to shake me
Try and turn my head around
Oh try to change me, rearrange me
I think you know about the boy you found
A fantasy like this is hit and run
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls
I had a dream about girls like you
You said call us, you'll get two
One for your money, two for the show
I'll give you something more
I know,i know,i know,i know
It's hard enough to make you wanna cry
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls
It's hard enough to make you wanna cry
And it drives me out of my mind
I'm in love with you, baby
My poor innocent baby
Don't you say maybe
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls
Feels so good, let me in
I might jump right out of my skin
Don't you ever grow up little girl
Sweet young thing, not so innocent
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls
Younger girls
Oh how i love those younger girls

Didja ever
Didja ever get
Didja ever get one
Didja ever get one of them
Didja ever get one of them days, boy
Didja ever get one of them days
When nothin is right from mornin till night
Didja ever get one of them days
Didja ever get one of them days
Ya get up in the morning and turn the shower on
Youre gettin pneumonia, the hot water is gone
Freezin sneezin
You wanna dry your back, a well
Didja ever get one of them days
When theres no towel on the rack
Didja ever
Didja ever get
Didja ever get one
Didja ever get one of them
Didja ever get one of them girls, boys
Didja ever get one of them girls
Whos awful nice
But cold as ice
Didja ever get one of them girls, yeah
Didja ever get one of them girls
Yeah! girls, girls, girls, girls, girls, girls, girls, girls
Youre at a drive-in movie
With a cute brunette
A countin on the kisses that you figure to get
Closer, closer, then she hollers ho!
Didja ever get one of them girls
Who just wants to watch the show
Show, show, show, show, show, show, show, show
Didja ever
Didja ever get
Didja ever get one
Didja ever get one of them
Didja ever get one of them days, boy
Didja ever get one of them days
When nothin is right
From mornin to night
Didja ever get one of them days, boy
Didja ever get one of them days
Youre on a sunday picnic
And then it starts to pour
You run through poison ivy, scratch until youre sore
Ants come dancin, carry off the bread
Didja ever get one of them days
When you should a-stayed in bed
Didja ever
Didja ever get
Didja ever get one
Didja ever get one of them

Sonnet 105
Let not my love be called idolatry,
Nor my beloved as an idol show,
Since all alike my songs and praises be
To one, of one, still such, and ever so.
Kind is my love to-day, to-morrow kind,
Still constant in a wondrous excellence;
Therefore my verse to constancy confined,
One thing expressing, leaves out difference.
Fair, kind, and true, is all my argument,
Fair, kind, and true, varying to other words;
And in this change is my invention spent,
Three themes in one, which wondrous scope affords.
Fair, kind, and true, have often lived alone,
Which three till now, never kept seat in one.

Girls Against Boys
Imagine a world where the girls, girls rule the earth
Imagine a world where the boys, boys could give birth
Would it be better that way?
Would it be more fun?
Would it be ecstasy?
Would it be a revolution?
Imagine a world where the girls, girls rule the earth
1:
Girls against boys, boys against the girls
Girls against boys, who would rule the world?
Girls against boys, boys against the girls
Girls against boys, who would rule the world?
Imagine a world where the girls, girls run the show
Imagine a world where the boys, boys were told no
Would there be peace on earth? , no more guns
Would it be sexier or mass confusion?
Imagine a world where the girls, girls rule the earth
Repeat 1
Count bass-d:
Well I cook for you and I clean for you
2 kids for you, in your checkbook
Im on slim fast trying to get slimmer
But here you always wanna eat big macs for dinner
My sneakers got soaked while walking through a puddle
And when we get through, you dont even wanna cuddle
You need to check in when youre hanging with your friends
Trying to be like daddy is (? )
Being a man is hard like (? )
Ima take you to the 60s and burn my boxes
Yeah, and burn my boxers
You know what Im saying? (? )
Imagine a world where the girls, girls rule the earth
Imagine a world where the boys, boys could give birth
Would there be rocketships, way more fights?
Dress up everyday, more sattelites?
Would xena be queen? would there be more magazines?
Topless bars, super-fast cars, 90,000 trips to mars
Repeat 1 x2

Ya Tvoya Ne Pervaya
hello...
hello...
do you see wind?
so what?
just look at the window.
so what?
it was sun yesterday
so what?
why are you always saying the same thing?
i am-answering machine.
Just to calm down,
silence is gold,
radio insomnia,
station parting.
who will get who,
coins will show?
who will be left to who,
by nerves, pills?
behind the windows at night
(she) will yell and break,
this doesn't count, this doesn't count.
(she is) faithful, not faithful,
i am not your first,
you are my sudden.
(you)show, show, show, show,
show, show me love.
(you) show, show, show, show
why, why am i with you.
(you)show, show, show,show
show, show me love.
(you)show, show, show, show
why, why am i with you.
i guess (someone) will refuse,
easier not to meet (not to introduce ourselves to each other)
who of us will refuse,
just to calm down.
girls like girls,
and then- sleepwalkers.
Numbers and narrows,
Chocolate bars, wrappings.
(she)will hide, cry,
will, say, scare.
this doesn't count
i am not your first
you are my sudden.
(you)show, show, show, show,
show, show me love.
(you)show, show, show, show,
why, why am i with you.
(you)show, show, show, show,
show, show me love.
(you)show, show, show,show,
why, why am i with you.
show, show me love.....
show me love......

When Love Is Not Fair
Lady you love him so
Yet he doesn't desire you
How you keep on wishing
For something not very true
When Love Is Not Fair
You tell me this will change
And that he loves you so
Well how is lady tell me
That love never will show
When Love Is not Fair
I see you wasting away
As he plays with your heart
Love is not a game you see
It can cut you very sharp

Bible Stories: Ruth (Part Ib)
Her daughters-in-law wept aloud;
Orpah kissed her mother-in-law
And left towards her mother’s house;
Ruth, howev’r clung to Naomi!
Although Naomi advised her,
Ruth refused to leave, like Orpah;
Ruth told her not to compel her;
She loved to follow Naomi;
She’d stay wherever, she would stay;
Her God and people would be hers!
She was ready to die with her,
And be buried, where she would be;
She did not care if worse things came;
She wouldn’t desert her, until death!
When Naomi saw Ruth was firm,
She didn’t dissuade her thereafter!
They both entered Bethlehem town;
Seeing them, the city got stirred;
They asked if she was Noami.
“Call me Mara, Naomi wept!
The Lord has been bitter to me.”
“I went out full but come empty.
The Lord has afflicted me now.”
Thus, Naomi with Ruth returned
From Moab to Bethlehem town,
When barley harvest had begun!

Girls
I like what you know, I like what you show
No doubt about it, I wanna be where you go.
I wouldnt change it, or try to explain it
Some guys can be with girls and wind up complainin'
But I wouldnt if I could
Im not that kind of yesterday a mood swing serious.
Its just sauce for the goods
I dont even want to figure it out
Im too busy thinkinabout you.
Chorus
Girls, where would boys be without girls to love
You know that Id be with you girls,
Where would boys be without girls to love - sweet love
What would I do without someone like you
Without your sexy smile, those ways wont cramp my style
But you made me sweat when you played hard to get
One kiss from your lips though and I forget
Thats how you make me feel on the real to real
All I wanna do is be true to you
Dont need the loneliness, to hell with phoniness
I would never leave love out, because Im all about you, girl
Chorus
Can live with em,can live with em, cant live without girls
Rap:
You got me sweatin, cant ya tell?
Without perfume I love your natural smell
Others wont say that, they like to front
cause if they aint one way, then the girls a skunk
But you can be yourself, come and chill a while
Do your own thing, it wont cramp my style.
And Ill be there goinright with the flow
Yeah I know, and also love the way you show
Your innocent side, your straightup side
Look we can make you work without the foolish pride
And where would I be without my girl
You know it really doesnt matter, wouldnt trade her for the world.
Chorus
I like the things you know, I like the things you show
I wanna be where you go.
Makin me want you, all the things you do
I speak for whatever you do

Great Women - Young and Old
The lights of Bethlehem still burn,
For Ruth’s mother-in-law to return.
Since her unfettered faith, so strong,
Convinced Ruth, with her, to come along.
Facing bravely the consequences of God’s plan,
Ruth, with Naomi, went to the Promised Land.
To live on in Bethlehem was their decision,
Both seeking to receive God’s provision.
God doesn’t stop being God in adversity
Is what Naomi taught Ruth to believe.
So there in Bethlehem, Ruth sought for a man
To help her with the consequences of God’s plan.
And Boaz of Bethlehem, Naomi’s rich kinsman,
Found Ruth to be both charming and winsome.
So he shared with Ruth the bounty of his field,
When he learned her faith, though foreign, was real.
Thus they became one with the grace of God’s will
And with a prophecy of God their duty to fulfill.
Ruth’s faith in Naomi’s God found reinforcement
While lovelorn Naomi was freed of her resentment.
God’s will it was to give Ruth and Boaz a boy,
And for Naomi to restore her spiritual joy.

Girls
Some girls got it some girls dont
Some girls do it some girls wont
Some girls want to run your life
Some want to sink your boat
Girls- sweet sweet girls
Make you break you girls dont care
Wake you shake you get you there
Some girls like to play it cool
Some like to kiss and tell
Girls- sweet sweet girls
Its not new but its gotta be faced
A man can be turned by a pretty face
Cant live with them
Cant live without them
Girls- sweet sweet girls
Girls in movies girls in space
Girls on t.v. girls that race
Some girls want to tie you down
Some girls dont want to know
Girls- sweet sweet girls
Its not true but its gotta be faced
A man can be turned by a pretty face
Cant live with them

Statisticians
What ruled the clowns of statistics?
Research? Effort? Pain? Or even acrobatics?
It is a thrust towards change, to upright pursuit,
To an end beleaguered by authority all absolute.
No doubt the rumour brought a schism,
And one of utter ruin, so much awesome.
A productive policy has been espoused,
It was said the policy was housed.
Yielding no statistics is a game for feeders,
But the principles are as copious as acres.
Who are the statisticians? And what do they do?
Their policies are strict and everything is true.
