If you've looked at all the glamour magazines lately, all the covers are actresses. If they are on those covers, they are going to try to emulate models. That's just the way it is.

Mask That Covers My Pain

I wear a mask,
A mask that covers my pain,
I wear a smile,
A smile to cover my frown,

Secretly I am sad,
No ones here to hold me,
No ones here to love me,
I have no one,

My mask covers the pain in my eyes,
My mask covers the pain in my face,
My mask covers the pain in my heart,
My mask covers the pain in me,

I am but alone,
I am but in pain,
I am the only one,
I put a mask on,
To cover my pain,

In those days I was new to covers; merely felt pleased that a story of mine had been honored. I later met Rogers who did some of my early covers and I was impressed with him.

The Bandits Of Beverly Hills

The knew the moment their eyes came together
Theyd never need to explain
He was a bandit behind his behavior
She was precisely the same
Laughing and dancing those gay cabralleros
They looked so wild and so free
She likes him a little light on the loafers
But bless his heart, so does he .
Chorus:
And he covers for her and she covers for him
If its wild and they want to they will
But the dangers are real and the chances are slim
And there aint nothing cheap but the thrill
In the badlands of beverly hills.
He had a mustache that made him look macho
And she wore a mole on her cheek
Making the run around rodeo avenue
Dancing boutique to boutique
And the truth is a question with too many answers
And so hard to face on your own
Beauty is only as deep as the skin
Ugly goes clear to the bone.
Chorus:
And he covers for her and she covers for him
If its wild and they want to they will
But the dangers are real and the chances are slim
And there aint nothing cheap but the thrill
In the badlands of beverly hills.

Entangled in Her Hair

Her hair
covers my face

she

kisses my mouth
kisses my kisses.

She chuckles.

I stroke her hair.

She sways &
...moves.

Her hair
covers my chest.

She
titillates a nipple

...it tickles.

I run my fingers
through her hair.

She sashays &
...moves.

Her hair
covers my navel

& there...&
there...abouts!

I…almost beside myself
neither...here...nor... there...

Lost in the anywhere
of an everywhere.

I clutch
her hair.

She shimmies &
...moves.

Her hair
covers my crotch.

She
licks it
into shape.

She
goes to say
something

it’s on
the tip of

her tongue.

But, she says nothing
only: “Mmmmm...! ”

& smiles
...smiles.

I close
my eyes.

My hands
entangled in
her hair.

The Absent Element

covers of earth
consumed by dirt
consumed by greed
right since birth
thoughtless whispers
unknown smiles
this body shivers
as I walk these miles

covers of space
overshadowed by faith
constricting inside
this prolonged wait
demented schemes
a preoccupied mind
conspiring themes
a satire rewind

covers of air
ceaselessly dark everywhere
a haunting flare
nothing to share
drifting away
my visions unclear
hold me tight
or I'll lose it I swear

covers of water
dried up again
endless river
oceans of pain
flowing steadily
with nothing to gain
falling freely
this acidic rain

covers of fire
burns the memory
awakens the liar
a conspiracy theory
strangled and stuck
adds one more why
dwelling on that luck
waiting to die

portraits I carry
are from a time like this
my five elements of life
enlightening every bliss

When The Summer Sun Covers Us

When the summer sun covers us,
in the unstained cobalt blue,
with its rays shining in glory,
when the summer sun covers us,
let autumn then draw its first lines
when it feels as if summer is without end,
when the summer sun covers us
in the unstained cobalt blue.

Be modest to rule.

Helen, the actress, with beauty and talent,
Tilting her breast and shaking her hips,
Bet on her glamour and captivated for long
But failed to rule as Nutan or Nargis did.

Glamour is not the staple food of sex

Mother Nature

I want her so bad
Mother Nature has a hold on me
I want her so bad
Mother Nature won't you let me be untied?
'Cause it hurts my pride
To be tossed off like the morning covers
And crossed off, like her other lovers
Casually
I see her walking by my window- mhmmhmmhmmhmm!
It seems to me I know her well.
But like the flowers in the spring-time,
Growing toward the sunshine,
Her beauty falls upon me in a fragrant spring-time spell
And I want her so ba-aa-aad
Mother Nature has a HOLD on me
I want her so bad
Mother Nature won't you let me be untied?
'Cause it hurts my pride
To be tossed off like the morning covers
And crossed off, like her other lovers
Casually
Is she an icy winter woman? Mm-hhmm!
That chills my body when she's near
Sweet fever in the morning...
I don't know if I'll survive.
She walks by me as though she didn't
Know I was alive
And I want her so ba-aa-aad
Mother Nature has a hold on me
I want her so bad
Mother Nature won't you let me be untied?
'Cause it hurts my pride
To be tossed off like the morning covers
And crossed off, like her other lovers
Tossed off like the morning covers,
Crossed off, like her other lovers...
Tossed off like the morning covers,
Crossed off, like her other lovers...

An Uneasy Sleep

The lightning flashed outside the window
the thunder clapped shaking everything
I had the eerie feeling of something watching me.
The lightning forced shadows to dance around the room,
as I got ready to pull the covers over my head,
my eyes searched for movement
of which I was unaware of
my heart pounded against my chest
as the storm raged without abate.
There was a tapping at the window;
I was not brave enough to look
to see if it was a branch or a face wanting me.
I slipped under the covers
going down as far as I could go,
something moved around the floor,
the creaks and thumps told me so.
I wanted to pull the covers back
and have a little peek,
but I thought better of it and tried to go to sleep.
I heard the door yawn and the hinges creak
the ghost of old McNair must be coming
for me when I fell asleep.
I heard more movements
and voices whispering low
and my heart-started pound more.
I laid silent and still hoping
that whatever it was
wouldn’t think I was in bed.
Something sat on the edge of the bed;
it was coming to get me for sure.
Then something poked around
to see if I was there.
I could feel it getting closer and closer,
I held my breath tying mot to scream,
and then it touched me and I let out a yell.
I threw back to the covers
and the room was bathed in soft warm candlelight.
The lightning outside still flashed,
a pair of smiling faces looked down at me.
I looked up at them want to know
just what was going on.
“I think the fever has broken now.
He should be a lot better in the, morning.
My advice is that you stay with him a while,
at least until he falls asleep.”
My mother nodded, and then smiled at me.
“Now you just lie down again
and try and get some sleep.
I’ll be sitting here in case you need me.”
I rested back against the pillow;
my fears were now at rest.
I closed my eyes
and sleep captured me immediately.

Fortunate are females

Among kids, girls are lovelier.
Among singers, women are appealing.
Women dancers are pretty to watch.
Female models are models everywhere.
All magazines carry female torso.
Why?
Only men have lust in eyes.

Second Hand Books

Books! Books! Books! There are so many different designs.
There are some which, by the author, are personally signed.
Some books have pages with gilt edges, which look all posh.
Some have nice pictures on their covers, which are embossed.

Some books have hard covers, while some have soft.
Some are all dusty, where they’ve been kept in the loft.
Some books have fancy covers; some just have plain.
Some have suffered mishaps, and are now all stained.

Some books are all dog-eared at the corners of their pages.
Some have gone yellow, where they’ve been around ages.
Inside some books, there can be seen a pencilled name;
Someone, who once, on this particular book, had a claim.

Some are obviously well read; their spines are all creased.
From out of a book, amazing adventures can be unleashed.
Some books have pages which are spoiled or a bit torn.
Some have covers which are grubby and look well worn.

Some just have text, while others also include illustrations.
Some are former prize winners; once the toast of the nation.
There are books by famous authors, as well as the lesser known.
Some are former library books which, to the public, were loaned.

There are romances, poetry, classics, sci-fi, humour, and histories;
Gardening, cookery, travel, thrillers, manga, and murder mysteries.
In wooden bookcases, the books are categorised, and are neatly lined.
In a second hand bookshop, you just never know what you may find.

Thoughts of mine

When I was young I used to believe
cheating was the greatest sin
I though white sheets were ghosts
but everything has changed since then

I used to count the stars I wanted to reach
I counted every rock I had climbed
but through those years I had searched
for answers I still can't find

They say sunshine covers the rain
they say laughter covers the pain
but what do the mud stains on the wall say
and why are my tears still here today

I could be beautiful
I could even be rich
but deep within were no one has been
are scars which still wont stitch

Heavy Metal Drummer

I still miss those heavy metal bands
She used to go see on the landing in the summer
She fell in love with a drummer
She fell in love with the drummer
She fell in love
Shiny shiny pants and bleach blonde hair
A double kick drum by the river in the summer
She fell in love with a drummer
Another & another
She fell in love
I miss the innocence Ive known
Playing kiss covers
Beautiful & stoned
Unlock my body and move myself to dance
In long liquid flowing blowing glass
Classical music blasting
Thats still ringing in my ears
I still miss those heavy metal bands
She used to go see on the landing in the summer
She fell in love with a drummer
She fell in love with the drummer
She fell in love
I miss the innocence Ive known
Playing kiss covers
Beautiful & stoned

Turnbuckles

Sometimes I think of the cargo holds on ships
with the metal covers secured by turnbuckles
to protect cargo in stormy seas

Even if the bow noses into towering waves
the covers hold and the ship won't sink
nor will the cargo shift

Then I read some of the posts that have
turnbuckles keeping secrets battened down
so that nothing leaks

There the metaphor fails in its comparison
because gossip and innuendo have a way
of eluding lock and key
