As an economics undergraduate, I also worked on a part-time basis in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for a company that was advising customers about portfolio decisions, writing reports.

(The Lights Went Out In) Massachusettes
Feel I'm goin' back to Massachusetts,
Something's telling me I must go home.
And the lights all went out in Massachusetts
The day I left her standing on her own.
Tried to hitch a ride to San Francisco,
Gotta do the things I wanna do.
And the lights all went out in Massachusetts
They brought me back to see my way with you.
Talk about the life in Massachusetts,
Speak about the people I have seen,
And the lights all went out in Massachusetts
And Massachusetts is one place I have seen.
I will remember Massachusetts...

Writing It Down
I was born on the cold side of the mountain
I wanna wake up on the warm side of the bed
How I start here
And how I end there
That is the part I aint worked out yet
Every day I climb a little bit higher
Every night I learn something new
Im writing it down
In case I forget
One day itll be my story for you
CHORUS
On every page you will know how much I love you
In every line you will see how much I care
With every word well grow a little closer
Even though we both know I cant be there
Thats why Im writing it down down down down down
Ohhhhhhhh Im writing it down
For you and for me
And for the whole wide world to read
Ohhhhhhhh Im writing it down
All my life Ive been hoping and praying
For my time to finally arrive
To put down this pen
To say its the end
And wake up back home with you by my side
REPEAT CHORUS
I was born on the cold side of the mountain
I wanna wake up on the warm side of the bed
How I start here
And how I end there
That is the part I aint worked out yet

Sections Of A Book
This section deals with politics,
And this one economics.
I am a book of longevity,
Inexact and imprecise,
Like people who want long life.
They decide with self-interests,
As volumes are written on them.
Reports form hold on information
That came from longevity,
Loathing some of the reports
As politicians argue with economists
To form some new empire
In which we live and work
In happiness.

There is a wide range of opportunities for us and we see a main part of our strategy as being a company that supplies products across a range of different end applications and indeed we have quite a wide product portfolio which we enhance each year.

the Cambridge ladies who live in furnished souls
the Cambridge ladies who live in furnished souls
are unbeautiful and have comfortable minds
(also, with the church's protestant blessings
daughters, unscented shapeless spirited)
they believe in Christ and Longfellow, both dead,
are invariably interested in so many things-
at the present writing one still finds
delighted fingers knitting for the is it Poles?
perhaps. While permanent faces coyly bandy
scandal of Mrs. N and Professor D
....the Cambridge ladies do not care, above
Cambridge if sometimes in its box of
sky lavender and cornerless, the
moon rattles like a fragment of angry candy

Pupils Slip Up
I have several questions.
For a few months
A radio business channel
In Boston carried
Thrice hourly reports
On the stock market--
The Bloomfield report.
Suddenly it was gone
And replaced by a
Monotonous religious channel.
I couldn't find it
Anywhere on the dial.
Why did that happen?
Massac came from Casamusetts.
Cassam came from Massachusetts.
They tell you that vitamin E,
Grape juice, and aspirin
Thin the blood and
Reduce cholesterol buildup
But if you take two
Or three of these
Substances regularly, do they
Thin it too much,
Causing other, unforeseen
Dangers of an interactive sort?
Massac came from Casamusetts.
Cassam came from Massachusetts.
If all politics is a lie
We tell ourselves, if
People who think they are
Conservative have horrible
Anarchic lives, raping children
And people who think
They are radical, and
Tell you so, typically,
Are repressed, authoritarian, and
Thinly frigid in their
Personal bearings,
Leaving the world on both sides
To be divided up between
Aggressive territorial types
Finding ideological excuses
To kill other people's children--
If all this is patently,
Obviously so, so that
Only poetry, and not
Politics can save us--
Is there any hope for us then?
Massac came from Casamusetts.
Cassam came from Massachusetts.

Shareholder activism is not a privilege - it is a right and a responsibility. When we invest in a company, we own part of that company and we are partly responsible for how that company progresses. If we believe there is something going wrong with the company, then we, as shareholders, must become active and vocal.
