What was important to me was entertaining the audience, and whether that meant winning, losing, singing, or whatever it was on the live show we were doing every week, which was awesome, I was game for it.

The Chances Of Winning
life is like a game, you lost and you win
losing is winning where it fall and
winning is losing where it stand
all the day through, you gain, but nothing
has been done
what makes it defferent, when everything
is nothing and what makes it something
when everthing is nothing
life is just, but a game to play... make the
best for it, for you win for something, that
will make you something out of nothing
many years have gone, yet! it seems
that those are just a dream, a dream that
i stand for none and end with gone
i now live for something, that the only chances
I'll make, will leads me to do something
the best of the game, i have to stand for my
chances of winning is something out of nothing
winning is a matter of chances of nothing.....
just do it... right

Banging On The Door
You know that it hurts
These things that you say
But Ill be alright
Dont lose your faith
Just swallow your pride tonight
God only knows this place is strange
Banging on the door again
Banging on the door thats locked forever
Losing on a lovers game
Winning on the one side and losing forever
The air that we breather hangs heavy tonight
Still I look for your face
Im home all alone again
Some dreams grow old and then they just die
Im banging on the door again
Still banging on the door thats locked forever
Losing on a lovers game
Winning on the one track and hurting forever
Oh your love is a symphony
All this love over all of me
Oh your love is a symphony
Oh sweet love I can feel it
Still banging on the door again
Im banging on the door thats sealed forever
Losing on a lovers game
Winning on the one track hurting forever

We had all week to rehearse. An audience would come in at the end of the week and we'd our little show. Most of the ad- libbing happened during the week on the show.

A good balance of winning and losing is important. If you just win all the time, you won't get anything out of it; having some tough losses can be really important.

Their Football Team To Them Important
Their flags and their banners they are waving with joy and excitement they shout
The hero has kicked the winning goal but what are they shouting about
To them it should not really matter 'tis only a game of football
But to them it is very important and their's is the best team of all.
At least that is how they do see it their lives revolves around their team
When their team win a huge boost to their egos and a loss bad for their self esteem
Last week their team lost in a thriller but their loss reduced them to tears
And tonight they will sing their Club song in the Local and celebrate with a few beers.
They look forward to the football Season and they live for the love of the game
And on their bedroom walls a poster sized photograph of their heroes and they know every player by name
Why do they take football so serious they talk about it at work every day
But suppose each of us have our own passions and each to their own one might say.
Their flags and their banners they are waving as proudly they sing their Club song
And they look forward to next weekend's game each day till then for them too long
Their football team to them important their lives revolve around the game
And each time their heroes are defeated the umpires for the loss they will blame.

When I was nine, we'd take a bus to the seaside. Coming back, we'd take turns entertaining, singing songs and the like. I tried some stand-up comedy. I had a captive audience in that bus. Then I realized I wanted to do more than that.
My God Is An Awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
And I have my eyes fixed on him today
While I am walking to school
Because God is coming towards me
To greet me
And there is something going on with my mind
But I don't know what my mind is trying to tell me
Or if God is coming to give me a message
Or to walk with me to school
And to make sure that I am safe while I walk to school
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
He forgives everyone that sins here at home
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
He lives inside of my heart everyday
Because I made room for God inside of my heart
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
He will let the sun shine here at home every single day
And I look forward to the sun every single day
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
My God is an awesome God
Because he is the maker of heaven and earth

Winning that first game was so important; my mother always said that the first game of the second set was the chance to keep it going if you were ahead or change things if you were behind.

Winning
One day I was on the ground
When I needed a hand
And it couldnt be found
I was so far down
That I couldnt get up
You know and
One day I was one of lifes losers
Even my friends were my ac-cus-ers
And in my head
Lost before Id begun
I had a dream
But it turned to dust
What I thought was love
That must have been lust
I was living in style
When the walls fell in
When I played my hand
I looked like a joker
Turn around
Fate must have woke her
cause lady luck she was
Waiting outside the door
Chorus:
Im winning
Im winning
Im winning
And I dont intend on losing again
Too bad it belonged to me
It was the wrong time
And I meant to be
It took a long time
And I knew for now
I can see the day
That I breath for
Friends agree theres a need
To play the game
And to win again
Chorus:
(repeat first line 5xs)
(repeat last line 4xs)
Repeat verse ii
Chorus:
(repeat first line 5xs)

But seriously, I think overall in the scheme of things winning an Emmy is not important. Let's get our priorities straight. I think we all know what's really important in life - winning an Oscar.

Wrestling was like stand-up comedy for me. Every night I had a live audience of 25,000 people to win over. My goal was never to be the loudest or the craziest. It was to be the most entertaining.

The entire season, the show had never been aired for more than three weeks. You can't get an audience that way. They would never promo the show for the next week.
Meant To Live
Fumbling his confidence
And wondring why the world has passed him by
Hoping that hes meant for more than arguments
And failed attempts to fly, fly
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Dreaming about providence
And whether mice or men have second tries
Maybe weve been livin with our eyes half open
Maybe were bent and broken, broken
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
We want more than this worlds got to offer
We want more than this worlds got to offer
We want more than the wars of our fathers
And everything inside screams for second life
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live
We were meant to live

Watching your house shrink away in my rear view mirror
as I drive away
wishing that I could take back all those words that meant nothing
that I didn't say
I'm trying to be what you want me to be
But it's so damn hard to keep playing the part of the fool
week after week
I think you need some time alone
You say you want someone to callyour own
Open you eyes
you can suck in your pride
you can live your life all on your own
I this all going to be just another time
that we play this game
I've tried to convice you that things could be different
but somehow they end up the same
But what did you expect from me
What am I supposed to do
you say that you're starting to fell like you're getting lost
Well I do too
I'm not gonna live this lie again
I know I'll get it right but I don't know when
I'll open my eyes
Iv'e got somethin inside
I'll just jack off in my room until then
It's never over till its done
and I don't think that you're the one (4x)

Game Show
Cuttin pictures from a magazine
... paper smile but not from you to me
Another statue in a ?
A breakfast alone
Another compromising ?
Another game show
The game show
The game show
I pass the time away before I sleep
I have your picture sitting next to me
I taped your picture in a book
Dont bother reading I just take a look
Dont have to turn the page before I know
So full of answers I dont need to know
I like to take control
I like the game show
The game show
The game show
Dont have to turn the page before I know
You ask me questions I already know
The time has finally come to let it go
I like to take control
I like the game show
The game show
The game show
