The day I made that statement, about the inventing the internet, I was tired because I'd been up all night inventing the Camcorder.

A Strange Dog
this dog has no eyes, and so it feels most of the time
through its tongue
it believes it comes from the genealogy of the fish
and so its swims
against the current of the river
inventing its own gills
it closes and opens letting all the water of the river pass through
i am not surprised, in fact, i can relate to this dog without eyes
and inventing gills for it to breathe under water
that is what i do, most often than you know.

Found A Job
Damn that television ... what a bad picture!
Dont get upset, its not a major disaster.
Theres nothing on tonight, he said, I dont know
Whats the matter!
Nothings ever on, she said, so ... I dont know
Why you bother.
Weve heard this little scene, weve heard it many times.
People fighting over little things and wasting precious time.
They might be better off ... I think ... the way it seems to me.
Making up their own shows, which might be better than t.v.
(chorus)
Judys in the bedroom, inventing situations.
Bob is on the street today, scouting up locations.
Theyve enlisted all their family.
Theyve enlisted all their friends.
It helped saved their relationship,
And made it work again ...
Their show gets real high ratings, they think they have a hit.
There might even be a spinoff, but theyre not sure bout that.
If they ever watch t.v. again, itd be too soon for them.
Bob never yells about the picture now, hes having
Too much fun.
(chorus)
Judys in the bedroom, inventing situations,
Bob is on the street today, scouting up locations.
Theyve enlisted all their family.
Theyve enlisted all their friends.
It helped save their relationship,
And made it work again ...
So think about this little scene; apply it to you life.
If your work isnt what you love, then something isnt right.
Just look at bob and judy; theyre happy as can be,
Inventing situations, putting them on t.v.
(chorus)
Judys in the bedroom, inventing situations.
Bob is on the street today, scouting up locations.
Theyve enlisting all their family.
Theyve enlisted all their friends.
It helped save the relationship,
And made it work again ...

School On Fire
Caught in a fire we stray and commit blasphemy,
Lulled by the flames, a man is always in a sin.
The Hereafter must be dying away like a rind of cheese,
Opening a future closely and certainly, for the peace.
War is on fire, war is a believing unit of action by men,
There is fighting, there occupies a community,
Fulfilling demands of a sport that spreads innocence.
Jostling crowds of natural birth are extinguished
Just like the flames so violent, so heavier than Hell.
Our path is strange today, inventing a school
From scraps and then inventing a school of God.

You believe if (you better)
I got their number
Classic camcorder
I saw everything
Dinner plate specials
The shapes of cucumber
I'm going to the papers
I am going to sing
In the cool, cool night
And in the middle of the day
I'm watching my back
I'm waiting my visitation
From the mem in black
Are they grey or is it my own nation?
It's been a good year
It's been a good summer
I wait for the door or that phone to ring
Our little race
I don't want to fail
So just in case
I made you a copy
And I put it in the mail
You believe it
I got their number
Classic camcorder
I saw everything

I Might Have Been (Love Poem)
I might have been a poet,
who was dreaming of the stars.
I might have been a scientist,
who was inventing nothing new.
I might have been an honest man,
who could not pay his bills.
I might have been a millionaire,
who was jumping to his end.
I might have been a criminal,
who was living like a king.
I might have been a terrorist,
who was fighting for a cause.
I might have been a politician,
who was playing dirty games.
I might have been a lover,
who was lost in search of you.
I might have been a failure,
but you made me what I am

I Make My Students 'Believe
If it wasn't for me,
They would not know how to use utensils...
To cut their meat.
Eat properly.
Or how to chew with their mouths closed.
Now...
They hardly speak to me.
And...
Want to take full credit,
For inventing the plate!
Does this make me irate?
Of course.
That's how great of a teacher I am.
I make my students 'believe'...
They can walk on water if they wish!
And...
Forget I dragged them,
To the pond for their first lesson!
Today,
They look at me as if I am the one subservient!
And that ain't hardly gonna happen.
I'll let them believe it for a while.
However...
When I get tired of it.
And their taught tricks.
They will know!
And so will you.
