My cinematographic experience did not leave me any souvenirs, because I was only in very bad films that no one saw! It was better they didn't! In Europe, it is rare for women singers to be in movies. And then, may be that deep within me I didn't really wished to be in movies, for it is my belief that if I really wanted to, I'd be in the movies. I firmly believe that everybody is able to realise what their wishes, provided that they really want to.
Movies are not scripts - movies are films; they're not books, they're not the theatre.

It Happens All The Time

Sad movies always make me cry

He said he had to work, so I went to the show alone.
They turned down the lights and turned the projector on.
And just as the news of the world started to begin,
I saw my darling and my best friend walking in.
Although I was sitting right there they didnn see me.

'St. Elmo's Fire' is one of my favorite films. I like the storytelling of those teenage American films. You don't get that now. Teenage American movies are all about sick jokes, puking a lot, arse jokes.

I think you've got to talk to the director, see the director's films and recognise that it's important that the work fits right in and see if as part of the movie.
