That's one of the things I hope that the book can do, is to restore some dignity to Joe Cinque.

Dream Tomorrow
I shall think it a dream tomorrow
I wont believe you returned
That once again I saw and touched you
And youre so unconserned, unconcerned
You must have known that your cruel silence
Would be so hard to bear
And yet you let me wait, you let me wait and
Wonder
Neither here nor there, here nor there
I came back with just one intention
For one last look, one last taste of you
Revenge on those who still despise me
And take my own life too
But theres a long and twisted journey
Between this callous thought and deed
And youre a sweeter way to give me
All the things I need
Two ambitions coincidind
Will only happen now and then
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
How I hope its no dream tomorrow
But Im scared the light will fade
And today will be a vague recollection
Just a fools escapade, escapade
I never cared much about the future
Yesterday was always there
So when you give me hope, hope or a promise
It just isnt fair, isnt fair
Any plan, any calculation
Any plot or device at all
Runs into anothers dream
Runs into a wall
No matter what premeditation
In our three score years and ten
There are only fractured moments
Wed want to live again
Two ambitions coinciding
Will only happen now and then
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore you faith again

Dignity
Dignity is what we want,
As human beings on this earth;
Dignity is what we can’t,
Give up anyway since birth.
Dignity is innate right,
God has bestowed man, He made;
Dignity is cause to fight
When employees get under-paid.
Dignity, all need always
At home, at school and one’s work-place;
Dignity for human race,
Men must guarantee all days.
Dignity in livelihood,
Receive should all citizens;
Dignity in dying too,
World must assure everyone.
Dignity is what we need
In life on earth and when we die;
Dignity is good indeed
For creatures born under the sky.
Dignity for man and beast
Is a must for all, west / east;
Dignity for anyone
Shouldn’t be denied, any time!

What should move us to action is human dignity: the inalienable dignity of the oppressed, but also the dignity of each of us. We lose dignity if we tolerate the intolerable.

Were There Hope
I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles
To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.
But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

Restoration Ode
Restoration Ode
What tends toward orbit and return,
comets and melodies, robins and trash trucks
restore us. What would be an arrow, a dove
to pierce our hearts restore us. Restore us
minutes clustered like nursing baby bats
and minutes that are shards of glass. Mountains
that are vapor, mice living in cathedrals,
and the heft and lightness of snow restore us.
One hope inside dread, 'Oh what the hell'
inside 'I can't' like a pearl inside a cake
of soap, love in lust in loss, and the tub
filled with dirt in the backyard restore us.
Sunflowers, let me wait, let me please
see the bridge again from my smacked-up
desk on Euclid, jog by the Black Angel
without begging, dream without thrashing.
Let us be quick and accurate with the knife
and everything that dashes restore us,
salmon, shadows buzzing in the wind,
wren trapped in the atrium, and all
that stills at last, my friend's cat,
a pile of leaves after much practice,
and ash beneath the grate, last ember
winked shut restore us. And the one who comes
out from the back wiping his hands on a rag,
saying, 'Who knows, there might be a chance.'
And one more undestroyed, knocked-down nest
stitched with cellophane and dental floss,
one more gift to gently shake
and one more guess and one more chance.

Shall I hope?
Shall we hope?
Shall we hope?
Hope for a better life?
Hope to feel like we actually live?
Hope for a chance to do things better?
Is there a reason for hope?
Shall we hope?
Hope to undo what’s been done?
Hope to be greater than we are?
Hope to learn to give and not take?
What’s hope?
I ask you, shall we hope?

Is Hope Of
A word perhaps to me is hope
and hope you used to use a lot.
Without perhaps it being hope for naught.
A lot of hope about the things you are,
and you are all the things I hoped about.
You of hope at night the moon the light I write about.
And you write about the thoughts of hope,
and make them come to pass and write of that.
Ardently your mouth of hope, not going over there.
You who are without to be and I am crossing over.
Green bushes hold within my hope, blue open flowers.
Afterwards through fog or loam a stream flows slowly after.
I saw so bright the torch of hope from here to there beside us.
So there are we.
And are we there, for loving it sits about us.
Me I simply am, you and I, comes hope a certain thing.

Pride And Dignity
You can say what you will
call me any kind of name
I heard them all before
and though sticks and stones
may break the bones
your words will never kill
But before you go and judge me
look at yourself in that mirror
at every little mistake
you're still the same
and know it's nobody's fault
because only you're the blame
in your own trap you're caught
So look at me and stare
hope you see inside of me
and see things clearer
or should I give you a little more
because there's some things you can't take
and that's my pride and dignity
or my heart to love and care

Death With Dignity In Canada Oct 29th,2012
If the church has forbidden death with dignity; what else have they banned?
Are pedophile priests still hidden in this multicultural land?
Are abortions allowed to kill unborn babies here and there?
Should I apologize for being so bold and showing that I care?
If the States of Oregon and Washington can change things around,
Should the other states and should Canada hear the campaign sound?
Could we all die in dignity instead of devastating pain?
I think it would be better to hear the death-with-dignity campaign.
If ladies can have abortions here and there; then and now,
Why can't we have death-with-dignity instead of a pompous row?
Is it illegal or a sin or disgusting to talk about this?
Several European countries have it now, including the Swiss

Have Hope
Have hope, friend
Because with it you can move mountains
With hope you can climb the Everest.
Nothing can stop you from you aims
When you have hope.
I saw you when you are down
Thinking that all mountain of life
Are too high for climbing
But with hope you can do it.
You think that all things are impossible
But with hope all things are possible.
I saw you when you cry
And shed many tears
Because many scorn you
They reject you because they thought you are failure
But have hope
Because the rejected might be the appreciated
Just have hope and surely, you will rejoice.

Little Wish..
I wish you love,
I hope he gives you all you need..
I hope he never cheats..
and listens to you at night..
I hope he enjoys the same things you do,
and loves you all the same..
I hope he treats you right,
and loves you till his last breath..
I hope he holds you tight,
making all your troubles fade away..
I hope he does it all to put a smile on your face..
I hope he does all the things I could never do..
I'll think of you every now and then..
but right now, I need to forget..
I wish you the best..
its time for me to go..

Book Of Brilliant Things
Thank you for the voice, the eyes and the memories shine
Thank you for the pictures of living in the beautiful black and the white
Some say well be together for a very long time
Some say that our first impressions never will lie
I open up to take a look into the bright and shiny book
Into the open scheme of things
Book of brilliant things
Book of brilliant things
I open up to take a look into the bright and shiny book;
Into the open scheme of things
Book of brilliant things
Oh, book of brilliant things
I thank you for the shadows
It takes two or three to make company
I thank you for the lightning that shoots up and sparkles in the rain
Some say this could be the great divide
Some day some of them say that our hearts will beat
Like the wheels of the fast train, all around the world
I open up to take a look into the bright and shiny book
Into the open scheme of things
Book of brilliant things
Book of brilliant things
Some say we can be together for a very long time
Some say our hearts will beat like the wheels of a fast train
All around the world
All around the world
All around the world
Some say our hearts beat like the wheels of a fast train
All around the world
All around, all around, around, around
All around the world
Our hearts beat like the wheels of a fast train
A very long time
All around and all around and all around and all around the world
Some say well be together
Some say
A very long time, some of them will say
A very long time all around the world

Is This You? Sept 18th,2012
You may have a chance between dying with chemo or cancer,
Not a nice question, I know, so no need to come up with an answer,
Because in Canada, you are not allowed death with dignity,
Let's hope that your future does not have this indignity.
The lady dying of Lou Gehrig's disease asked but was forbidden,
Was refused by appointees whose decisions can't be overridden,
Therefore Canadians are forbidden death with dignity,
A graphic lack of democracy and all done instantly.
And when a problem arrives, it cannot be recognized,
Because everything is perfect and you didn't even realize,
And those who want death with dignity will have to go away,
Referendums are forbidden too but aristocrats can stay.

Voting In Egypt
they're voting in Egypt
this morning....
they had all the oppression
they could take...
and they rose up
at the risk of their lives,
and took their country back!
will we have to follow
in their footsteps?
how many will have to die
before we can restore our dignity?
when you have nothing left
to live for....
then the price of your life isnt much!
freedom calls, will we answer?

All I Want For Christmas
All I want for Christmas,
Is my dignity.
My dignity,
You took from me!
All I want for Christmas,
Is my dignity.
Freed from a greed,
You deceived!
'You wicked lowlife slithering leeches.'
All I want for Christmas,
Is my dignity.
My dignity,
You took from me!
All I want for Christmas,
Is my dignity.
Freed from a greed,
You deceived!
~Daddy?
Do you think that is an appropriate song for Santa?
Maybe 'Jingle Bells'?
You can do 'Jingle Bells' and I'll send 'that'
With my letter to the North Pole.
Record it over, please Daddy, please.~

Who Do You Love, I Hope
I've got the question
I've had it for days
You've got the answer, dear
I'll put the question
In one little phrase
Say what I want to hear
Who do you love I hope
Who would you kiss I hope
Who is it going to be
I hope, I hope, I hope it's me
Who do you want I hope
Who do you need I hope
Who is it going to be
I hope, I hope, I hope it's me
Is it the baker who gave you a cake
I saw that look in his eye
Is it the butcher who brought you a steak
Say that it is and I'll die
Who do you love I hope
Who would you kiss I hope
Who is it going to be
I hope, I hope, I hope it's me
[2]
I heard your question
The answer you know
Love is my middle name
You asked a question
That worried you so
Mind if I do the same
Who do you love I hope
Who would you kiss I hope
Who is it going to be
I hope, I hope, I hope it's me
Who do you want I hope
Who do you need I hope
Who is it going to be
I hope, I hope, I hope it's me
Is it the blondie who acted so shy
I heard the things that she said
Is it the redhead who gave you the eye
Say that it is and your dead
Who do you love I hope
Who would you kiss I hope
Who is it going to be
I hope, I hope, I hope it's me

Psalm 80
Cause Your face to shine upon us
Let your light shine in the dark
Cause your face to shine upon us
The jackals howl and the dogs they bark
Cause your face to shine upon us
Our food has been the bread of tears
Cause your face to shine upon us
We have wandered for so many years
Cause your face to shine upon us
The thirsty's given tears to drink
Cause your face to shine upon us
For in the mire we surely sink
Restore us Lord O God of hosts
We were planted by your very hand
Restore us Lord O God of hosts
Our fertile soil has turned to sand
Restore us Lord O God of hosts
Your face shines down from up above
Restore us Lord O God of hosts
Restore us with your precious love

Books are not absolutely dead things, but do contain a potency of life in them to be as active as that soul was whose progeny they are; nay, they do preserve as in a vial the purest efficacy and extraction of that living intellect that bred them. I know they are as lively, and as vigorously productive, as those fabulous dragon's teeth; and being sown up and down, may chance to spring up armed men. And yet, on the other hand, unless wariness be used, as good almost kill a man as kill a good book. Who kills a man kills a reasonable creature, God's image; but he who destroys a good book, kills reason itself, kills the image of God, as it were in the eye. Many a man lives a burden to the earth; but a good book is the precious life-blood of a master spirit, embalmed and treasured up on purpose to a life beyond life. 'Tis true, no age can restore a life, whereof perhaps there is no great loss; and revolutions of ages do not oft recover the loss of a rejected truth, for the want of which whole nations fare the worse.
Dignity Demands...
dignity demands...
i be who i am,
i stand for what i am,
and i do so with respect!
dignity demands...
i see others for who they are,
that i accept them for who they are,
and do so with respect!
dignity demands...
that i live freedom and equality,
bound by no man nor creed,
and that i live with respect.
dignity demands...
that i do this job,
of living and giving well...
knowing respect brings respect!
dignity demands...
