Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it's amazing what they can accomplish.

Weeping Meter
If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
The more you get some pity you sit and solicit it.
With a drive you started in campaign,
And aimed to have a perfect pity party trip.
You've got your buckets ready to collect the slightest drip.
Like an attention getting kitten,
Being petted as it purrs and licks!
That's what you need!
A boost to benefit.
Like the petting of a kitten getting enjoyment out of it.
To get a little bit of stroking before it leaves...
To meander off and drift.
Satisfied and pleased.
If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
Maybe you just need some petting,
And some stroking too?
Oooo...
If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
Maybe you just need some petting,
And some stroking too?
Oooo...
If you're on a weeping meter,
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.
You may need a boost.

And to do that not only for the war fighter, but also to help prepare the people in the acquisition, personnel and policy worlds who need to make adjustments in the department's business, which itself may take 10 or 15 years to accomplish.

Only Those Who Believe They Can
Don't you be afraid,
To boost it up a notch.
No...
Don't you be afraid.
No...
Don't you be afraid.
Don't you be afraid,
To give it what you've got.
No...
Don't you be afraid.
No...
Don't you be afraid.
Boost it.
Boost it.
Boost it up a notch.
And,
Don't be afraid to boost it.
Give it what you've got!
Only those who believe they can,
Will leap...
With a seeking,
What is theirs to reach.
So,
Boost it.
Boost it.
Boost it up a notch.
Only those who believe they can,
Will leap...
With a seeking,
What is theirs to reach.
So,
Boost it.
Boost it.
Boost it up a notch.
And,
Don't be afraid to boost it.
By a giving it what you've got!
Only those who believe they can,
Will boost...
It up!
Only those who believe they can will boost it,
Up!
Only those who believe they can will boost it,
Up!
Only those who believe they can will boost it.

Outstanding leaders appeal to the hearts of their followers - not their minds.
Sociopaths Stand Back
People in the middle,
Enjoy keeping their riddles griddled.
And slapped to sizzle nonstop.
While turning up the temperature...
To see who steams a lot!
Just to justify that feeling to boost.
Nobody adjusted and in a right frame of mind,
Sits to feel reduced,
In a seduction they can find.
Just to feel that boost.
Nobody wants to stay a loose goose cooked.
For other geese to please.
Just to feel that boost.
Nobody carries on their back,
Weighted troubles packed.
To consciously seek a place to bend their knees.
Just to feel that boost.
Nobody chooses to sing the blues,
Because they love the melody.
Just to feel that boost.
Although some may elect to fight...
Instead of leaving alone what is known is right.
Sociopaths stand back.
Nobody expresses those needs you feed.
Just to feel that boost.
And trying to justify,
Why their detached caboose is loose.

“it’s Amazing”
My eyes may close, yet I see your gentle face
It’s amazing
In silence, I hear the rhythm of your heart
It’s amazing
I touch your skin and feel your love
It’s amazing
Your scent releases all my memories of you
It’s amazing
I taste the sweetness of your ruby lips
It’s amazing
I cease all thought that my soul may speak to you
It’s amazing
Asleep I loose my spirit that I may find yours
It’s amazing
Yes…
It’s all so amazing

The Hypocritical
So many people injured and more than fifty numbered with the dead
About the recent London bombings a lot has been written and said
Though such cowardly and callous attacks on civilians are happening in Iraq every day
That Country to us seems so foreign and from our thoughts seems far away.
One can only feel for the civilian casualties of London for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq they are not to blame
Though their Government will not admit to it at the sufferings of millions of Afghanis and Iraqis they ought to feel shame
They are part of the invading Coalition of the willing those who have managed for to stir up more hate
And though victory in Afghanistan and Iraq has been proclaimed one wonders what is to celebrate?
When I hear war leaders condemning acts of terror I say to myself how hypocritical they are
For to wage their wars on other Nations their fighter jets and their armies travel far
Thousands of civilians have died in their bombing missions though that to them seems quite okay
They do seem to have some strange values those who promote us against they.
The perpetrators of the London bombings their names not worthy of mention but the war leaders who condemn them no better than them 'twould seem
For them to wage war on other Nations is a boost to their egos and their self esteem
They must address the root cause of terrorism before the last hope of peace has gone
For if they keep on bombing other Nations then terror is bound to live on.

For the last 20 years of my life, I've had the mantra to do amazing parts with amazing people in amazing projects, so I'm attracted to good story, writing and character and good people. That's what I'm always searching for and I don't think that's ever going to change.

Its Amazing
At a stand still, somebody, somebody put me here.
As I heal you, its not that much difference, well be there.
Cant you all see, what it says?
Its says okay now, okay now, now you go.
And I think i, Ill make it,
Because I love you, I love yes you know.
Its amazing, that were still here.
Its amazing, how?
I know you fear me now,
Why did you leave it in my hands?
I cant explain,
How can you leave me out,
How can you push me out,
How can you push me around again?
Its amazing, that were still here.
Its amazing, how?
Oh, amazing that were still here
Its amazing.
Its amazing, thats were still here.
Its amazing, how?
Its amazing that were still here.
Turn it into my direction,
Why did you leave it, leave it in my hands?
How can you put down, how can you put me out,
How can you push me around, push me around, amazing...
Its amazing...
(life, it gives, what you were living, and theres something telling me that I need to go...)

Veteran's day lament!
1376... sounds like some historical date
Required to be memorized in high school history class
Well it’s not. it’s a much, much more important number
And we cannot let it pass.
It’s the number of our young boys in Afghanistan
Who have died all alone
It’s the number of young boys
Who will never come home
They died for a people who will never care
They died hoping to accomplish something
We should have kept them home I know
For their gallant deaths will accomplish nothing
1376.…sounds like some random numbers and
To our leaders I suppose they are
To me it’s young lives, gone forever
In a stupid and senseless war.
Speak up! ! ! Bring them home, Keep them home
This madness has gone too far! !

Fall Out
Words and music by Stewart Copeland
I never thought of leading
I've got my own machine
And I've paid my dues all along
All set for breaking
When I missed those other people
'Cause I knew that I was really alone
Fall out
Fall out with all the leaders and guys
Fall out
Fall out with all the leaders and guys
I saw my education
It was my indocrination
Just to be another parking machine
All my sense was breaking
When I missed those other people
'Cause I knew that I was not very clean
Fall out
Fall out with all the leaders and guys
Fall out
Fall out with all the leaders and guys
Fall out
Fall out with all the leaders and guys
Fall out
Fall out with all the leaders and guys
Fall out

The Application Of Much Elbow Grease
If I believed everything in life,
Should come to me quick and easy...
I would not have made any attempts,
To accomplish anything.
I'd be more like you...
Complaining and maintaining,
An ability to make new and fresh excuses.
Refusing to listen.
Or accept and move on,
From mistakes I've made.
I'd be like you...
Pretending the only thing I needed,
To boost my self esteem from a routine...
Was a bit of luck.
And a patted stroke on my back,
From someone who offered a shoulder to cry on.
And while you are here...
Let me make this comment absolutely clear.
I will never make it a habit,
To run from one listening ear to another.
Wasting my time or that of others...
Whining about time I don't have,
As I defend every one of my insecurities.
I've witnessed too many seasons,
Hearing how some folks abruptly leave.
To produce nothing but a list of 'what ifs'.
Perceiving they could wish procrastination away.
I've witnwessed too many seasons,
In bloom...
Acknowledging my dreams needed more from me,
Than wishful thinking without sacrifice, dedication...
And the application of much elbow grease!

Times Like These Wont Leave
Oh it's amazing...
In these days and times,
People are still found to be...
In a deepened sleep.
And it's amazing,
In these days and times...
There are those still distant,
From believing.
And...
It doesn't matter if it's in their faces,
People are disbelieving.
It doesn't matter if it's colored blue...
People wont accept that color true.
They rather see it rosy and ready to bloom.
Yes it's amazing,
That people rather pack more on their backs...
With a closing of their eyes to facts.
It is amazing...
That people rather pack more on their backs,
With a closing of their eyes to facts and nap.
And it's amazing,
In these days and times...
There are those still distant,
From believing...
Times like these wont leave,
To keep them steadily creeping to be what they are!

She's Amazing
She came on scene
I felt like I was in a movie, She parted the room
The way that Moses did the Red Sea
And from across the room
I felt her body talking to me (yeah)
Cause thing about her, thing about her
Is she was amazing, So amazing
[Chorus:]
She's amazing
She's amazing
No man alive would ever dream of talking to her
She gave off a vibe like
Come Tom, I want to see ya
And for whatever reason, I was feeling lucky that day
Cause thing about her, thing about her
Is she was amazing, So amazing
[Chorus]
She's amazing in the daylight, She's amazing in the night,
Once you see her, She's the only thing on your mind
She's amazing, She's amazing, Every time she walks in to the room
She's a party girl, She's a party girl
Start dancing in the streets, Cause she's amazing
She's a party girl ...

Stay by my side

Lifes still a dream
Your loves amazing
Since I found you

Theres too much at stake to be down

Just False Patriotism
'Tis true to the dead that respect we should show
But they still honour men who died ninety years ago
For a dubious cause in Lands far away
But the war that was supposed to end all wars is re-lived today.
In that war it is said a million people died
And in such needless slaughter why do we take pride
At the war memorial the last post is played
And the long war dead are honoured with one more parade.
Those who march for peace it does seem to me
Do more for the betterment of humanity
Than those who go to war memorials to honour the long dead
Far too much about war has been written and said.
Just false patriotism to me this does seem
A boost to big egos and to self esteem
The mistakes of war are repeated today
And people are dying in war zones far away.
