I look out the window sometimes to seek the color of the shadows and the different greens in the trees, but when I get ready to paint I just close my eyes and imagine a scene.

What is the color of love?

What is the color of love?

I'll paint it with RED.

Do you ask me why? Because.....

Red roses are the symbol of love,

Red sunrises are the symbol of life.

What is the color of love?

I think I'll paint it with ORANGE.

I'll give it to you by the segments.

It looks so naive but....

You have to believe.

What is the color of love?

And now I'll paint it with YELLOW.

It's the sunshine of the bright day.

It's the color of flowers in spring.

What is the color of love?

I'll better paint it with GREEN.

'Green grass of home...',

Green leaves, green piece...

What is the color of love?

I think I'll paint it with BLUE.

It's the color of the sky,

It's the color of freedom,

It's the color of seas and oceans

It's the color of the devotions.

What is the color of love?

It is sometimes dark blue

When the ocean is angry

When someone's love is not true.

What is the color of love?

May be it is VIOLETTE?

Don't try to guess

As I'd like here to confess:

It's a RAINBOW!

Yes You May Paint My World

be ready
paint my world
be patient
it is not as white
as a canvass
to start with

i am spotted
like gerard manley hopkins
with his cow
and this trout

i have some
red marks on
my heart and
some stains
in my brains

i am dark
and you will need
nothing black

paint me
with the color
of gentleness
and the color
of your concern

i am not really
lovable but
you may paint
me with the colors
of your love

if you have doubts
don't worry
make something
abstract about me
i won't bother
i am your brother

Red Is The Color I See

Red Is the Color I See
Red is the only color she can see
Dripping from the sky sliding from the trees
Red is the only color she sees
From the blink of an eye to a dropp of a penny
Red is the only color she sees
From the pain exploding within
To the drink being mixed with vodka or Gin
Red Is the Color Hanging On the Walls
Crawling on the floor and sliding down the halls
Red it the blanket that covers her a night
The color that hugs her skin so tight
Red is the Color that whispers death
That suck up the air and your last breathe
Red is the color tell her it will be ok
Just lay down close your eyes and pray
Red is the color that didn't make it through the night
Eyes closed no more memories in sight
Red it the color that hung on the knife
Gone was a life
No a breathe or a blink
The knife now lies in the sink.

Imagine the World

Imagine the world ……………………….
Imagine the world without wars…
Imagine the world without your laws
Imagine your life without fear
Imagine your eyes without a tear
Imagine all men were real men
Imagine…imagine…imagine…
Imagine life without hate
Imagine you knew your own fate
Imagine all children were happy
Imagine all nations were free
What would life be like?
Imagine no-one were blind
Imagine all the woes behind
Imagine…….imagine……..imagine….
Imagi ne earth were flat
Imagine man without a heart
Imagine the day without light
Imagine the dark without the night
Imagine……….imagine……imagine……
Imagine faces without a smile
Imagine birds without a nightingale

Through the Shutter

The dull transfiguration's of this hapless old room.
The rusted edges,
orange-brown autumn leaves
on Yosemite's endless trees.
And I'm sure,
you can feel my sigh
With my head tilted upwards,
As I watch, the green paint peeling
and small flakes falling,
it's color becomes less overwhelming.
The rooms passage,
less open than before
still open,
none the less
leads to nowhere
for ages hence
and I sit here waiting,
patiently staying
watching the beautiful scene outside of the window before me.
and my eyes do seem
to be wondering what lies beyond this stale green.
but they know,
they have to surpass,
the endless darkness beside this room
for nothing here has changed,
and they know nothing would.

Imagine That

Imagine That
Close your eyes...
Now relax your mind...
Now I want you to picture yourself
Far, far away
(You know your thoughts inside, girl we're 'bout to take a ride)
I don't want you to have a care in the world right now
(Let it go, let it go, let it go, aw yeah)
It's just you... and me
In this moment
Quiet... listen...
Baby take your mind into a zone
Imagine that we're all alone
2-way's off and our friends are gone
Now picture you and me gettin' it on
Take my hand and come with me
Let's indulge in fantasies
Cast your cares and worries
And slowly fall into this ecstasy
I'm gonna rub your body so baby just relax
You've been pourin' out your lovin' and now it's time to pour it back
Imagine that
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (all night long)
Imagine that
Me strokin' your body, imagine that
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (ohh-ho)
Imagine that
Whipped cream and strawberries, know what I mean?
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (ohh-ohh)
Imagine that
Candles and oils surrounding the bed
Imagine that, imagine that, imagine that, imagine (ohh-ho)
Imagine that
And me kissin' your body from feet to head
Imagine that
We don't have to talk
Ohh lay your body here, and watch my fingers walk
Take a second... and imagine the opportunity
You and me sharin' sexual energy
Now girl just meditate on you bein' in this chair
Now close your eyes and act like we're not even here
Girl I'm gonna rub your body so baby just relax
You've been pourin' out your lovin' and now it's time to pour it back
Imagine...

Color Me

I wish that they would color me
The color of the rose
The color of the spring
Or the color of the snow.
If again they’d color me
The color that I would be
Would be the color I could see
As long as I am free.
As I wish that they would color me
The color of the trees
Or the color of the leaves
And then that color I would be.
I wish that I was a rainbow
With the many colors of the sky
Or the single color of a star
Shimmering in the night.
And if again they would color me
The color that I would be
Would be the color that is me
Is the color that I could see.

When I Close my Eyes

When I close my eyes,
I can see my country,
Shining in the light, bright.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see the trees,
Green against the skyline.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see stars shining cross,
The wide beyond.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see the sunset behind your hair,
Halo shining in the air.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I hear the ocean waves,
Crashing on the shore.
When I close my eyes.

When I close my eyes,
I see the moon glistening,
Through your eyes.
When I close my eyes.

Dream...
Imagine...
Close your eyes...
Ooh...(yah)
Ooh...(next)
Ooh...(divine mill...2k3)
Ooh... (tweet)
Ooh... (r.l.)
Ooh... (and t-low)
Now I might not have
5 or 6 cars in my garage
But would you settle for a nice massage
And the love of a lifetime
Girl...
I swear to God that
With a whole lot of love
And little bit of faith
That we can make it
You just gotta believe that...
We could roll till the wheels fall off (and)
Imma love you till my souls gone on (cause)
It can happen, baby, just hold on
Close your eyes and dream (and imagine that)
Imagine that smile ever leavin your face
Comin home from work and never leavin the place
Got chocolates and champagne just for you to taste
(close your eyes)
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that
Imagine benzes in the parkin lot
A different chauffeur for every car you got
Islands to settle on a private yacht (just close your eyes)
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that
I know you deserve
More than I got right now
But baby, theres no doubt
cause youve always stayed down
I swear to God that
With a whole lot of love
And a little bit of faith
That we can make it
You just gotta believe that
We could roll till the wheels fall off (and)
Imma love you till my souls gone on (hey)

Close your eyes, girl, imagine that (close your eyes and imagine that, girl)
{some day} just have my back and I promise that
{some way} Ill work hard and try to cop you that
{if we pray} and believe, you will see that
{itll be okay} you just gotta dream and believe
Imagine that
I can, can you, can we
We dream, ooh (dream with me)
You can have anything you need
A dream
But youve got to imagine that
Imagine that
I can, can you, can we
We dream, ooh
You can
If you close your eyes and imagine that
Imagine that smile ever leavin your face
Comin home from work and never leavin the place
Got chocolate and champagne just for you to taste
Close your eyes, girl, imagine that

Despair

expectedly, you must use black
when you paint despair
it is its color

darkness,
eyes closed and tears
coming out like drops of rain
from your cloudy
eyes

but you cannot be
restrained to the strictures of
conformity

society is raged
hurt and ravaged

oh my! you use
the color
red

they know what you mean
red is the color
of war

The Greens Of These Trees These Leaves

THE GREENS OF THESE TREES THESE LEAVES

The greens of these trees these leaves
The many shades of green-
Olive green and deep dark green and yellow green
And greens I see but have no name for-
So many shades of light and beauty in green
And I with my eyes loving them all
And delighted and made happy by them all-

Wondering why and how God's world
Has so so much Beauty
Just in green alone -
And being deep in happiness
At being alive
And loving them more
In regretting why and how
I will not one day soon
be able to see them again.

Shadows And Tall Trees

Back to the cold restless streets at night
I talk to myself about tomorrow night
Walls of white protest
A gravestone in name
Who is it now
It's always the same
Who is it now
Who calls me inside
Are the leaves on the trees
Just living disguise
I walk sweet rain tragicomedy
I'll walk home again
to the street melody
But I know, oh no
But I know, oh no
But I know...
Shadows and tall trees
Shadows and tall trees
Shadows and tall trees
Shadows and tall trees
Life through a window
Discoloured pain
Mrs. Brown's washing is always the same
I walk street rain tragicomedy
I'll walk home again
to the street melody
But I know, oh no
But I know, oh no
But I know...
(Out there)
Do you feel in me...
Anything redeeming
Any worthwhile feeling
Is love like a tightrope
Hanging from the ceiling
But I know, oh no
But I know, oh no
But I know...

Choose Your Color

I will paint the walls blue
Blue is calm, blue is power
Blue is the color of tranquility
Do you see my colors yet?

I will paint the ceiling green
Green is healthy, green is peace
Green makes time move faster
Do you see my colors yet?

I will paint the floor red
Red is fire, red is danger
Red is the symbol of passion
Do you see my colors yet?

I will paint the sky purple
Purple is sad, purple is gloomy
Purple is the color of romance
Do you see my colors yet?

I will paint the tree black
Black is fear, black is death
Black is the symbol of grief
Do you see my colors yet?

I will paint the street yellow
Yellow is happy, yellow is fresh
Yellow is the color of sunshine
Do you see my colors yet?

I will paint the fence orange
orange is wisdom, orange is wealth
Orange is the color of success
Do you see my colors yet?

I will paint everything white
White is good, white is pure
White is the color of faith
Have you seen my colors yet?

Self Portrait

Paint me a picture and hang it on your wall.
Color it dark where the lines must start to crawl.
Down, down, down.
Spin me around and around.
Draw me away to the night from the day.
Leave not a trace to be found.
Down, down.
Nothing is real but the way that I feel.
And I feel like going down, down, down, down,
Down, down, down, down, down.
Paint me a picture of eyes that never see,
With flashes of light that will burn for only me.
Hey, hey, hey, theres only the devil to pay.
Im ready to go pull me down from below.
Give me a place I can lay.
Hey, hey.
Nothing is real but the way that I feel.
And I feel like going down, down, down, down,
Down, down, down, down!

Invincible wings

When you are totally hopeless, do not despair
Just close your eyes and calm yourself
Then imagine you have a pair of invincible wings
That will lift your hope up from the pit.

When you are totally tired, do not despair
Just close your eyes and calm yourself
Then imagine you have a pair of invincible wings
That will give you strength to continue your flying

When you are hurt, do not despair
Just close your eyes and calm yourself
Then imagine you have a pair of invincible wings
That will take you to the sanctuary of healing

With these invincible wings you can survive
Any storm that you will meet in your life
With these invincible wings you can fly
As high as you can imagine in the sky.

Paint The Town Redneck

(richard fagan/steve obrien)
All week long I been workin that nine to five
Dreamin in color but livin in black and white
Monday to friday aint nothing but shades of gray
But tonight Im gonna party
All my blue collar blues away
Im a paint the town redneck when I get my paycheck
You ought to see my chevy van go
Headin for the bright lights, Ill be painting all night
Im a honky tonkin michelangelo
Picasso with a pool stick
Too loose with a two step
Rollin till my greens all gone
Im a paint the town redneck
Honey wanna come along
We can get there early
And draw us a pitcher of beer
Do a little dancin and make the blues disappear
Brushin up against each other in the neon light
You can be my mona lisa and Ill make you smile tonight
Im a paint the town redneck when I get my paycheck
You ought to see my chevy van go
Headin for the bright lights, Ill be painting all night
Im a honky tonkin michelangelo
Picasso with a pool stick
Too loose with a two step
Rollin till my greens all gone
Im a paint the town redneck
Honey wanna come along
Im a paint the town redneck
Honey wanna come along

What Color? (Hope)

what color
was the dust
from which the stars

were made?
what color is the hunger
written on the child's face?

what color is justice,
forgiveness, desire, truth?
what color is the wind....

the rain, gravity,
and knowledge?
what color is equality?

what color is freedom?
what color is eternity?
what color is redemption?

what color is God?
what color were the nails
that hung Jesus on the cross?

what color was enlightenment
falling on the Buddha as he sat
'neath that tree?

what color is prejudice, hatred,
fear, greed, apathy.....
what color your skin?

nay, what color is your blood?
and what color are the eyes
of humanity staring through the darkness?

and what color is hope?

What I see?

Darkness would soon consume what I see, before that let me say
Let me express, let me sing, a fable, a ballad or a poem, let me say
What I see.

It is a scene of a battlefield and I am standing there,
I see an omen walking by, a white moon shining in red sky,
Shattered metals everywhere, of tanks and guns, all man had made
And many men are lying here, of bones and flesh, all god had made
This is a hell but I’m not dead, but dead are they who lie afore,
Forcing me to be their part, an unsought color of this picture.

It is a scene of a broken hut and I am standing there,
Its thatched roof is gone, now roofless how it stands,
Its door is open and a window broken, but I won’t peep inside,
There may be a life, a tender rose, a bud ready to bloom,
And beneath its various fleshes, many secrets may have it closed.
I dare not touch it and destroy, and do not steal that is not mine.

It is a scene of a dying man and I am standing there,
Powerless, drunk in weakness, the curse with which I am cursed,
His eyes seek, so many questions, of answers he’s a beggar,
I stand to him, as a prophet, who has his hands, a blessing.
Mercy is my magic, my kindness sleeps in water. But showers of blood that he has laid,
The soldier, my soldier, who fought for me and laid his life, will that, be ever paid?

This saddens me and maddens me, how foolish had I been,
Desperate of love, desperate of hope and desperate of any kindness,
I have left what I had left and lost what I had found.
It is a scene of a graveyard and I am lying there,
Bereft of a white lily or grass or tear or a tombstone,

No inscription do I have no story now to tell. And my fables are closed
In my coffin, like my eyes, my lips and ears, were always closed,
When I was alive.

Moon Shadows

Moon shadows drift across
my bedroom window cill at night
just as the sandman sprinkles
his stardust dreams around my head.
I spiral into loving dreams
with you within my arms.
The moon shadows play
across my window
while I am deep in dreams
that sends me to exotic places
with you always at my arm.
We run along sandy beaches
where the palm trees grow.
The island of my dreams
that always comes to me
when the moon shadows show.

(War Poem) Blacken Skies

Focus now.
looking out the window.
Close you eyes.
Bring down the blacken skies.
Time for change.
Time to be rearranged.
The falsification of fame.
The justification to blame.
Stuck like a mental block.

Focus now.
Looking out the window.
Close your eyes.
Bring down the blacken skies.
Time for the strange.
Time to become deranged.
The melody always the same.
A reality so far from plain.
An alternate way of thinking.
In and out of the box.
Never gonna stop.
Forever reawakening.
This time, this way,
i will pray, i will focus now.
Looking out the window.
Close your eyes.
Bring down the blacken skies.
Time to take cover under the darkness of a fog of war.
Time to follow your fellow brother once more.
Lead us out of flame.
Destroy that which get in our way all the same.
Cry not for the fallen.
They have their place as do we.
Keep going show us the way
and we will proceed.
Strength will be needed for the bodies
we shall be hauling.

Focus now.
Looking out the window.
Close your eyes.
Bring down the blacken skies.
No time to ask why.
No time to worry about if your gonna die.
Vengeance always on the mind.
A gun broken and that's fine.
It did its job.
Shot all the bullets with pinpoint accuracy.
Now we must pick up and go.
Because the man upstairs said so.
So focus now.
Looking out the window.
Close your eyes.
Bring down the blacken skies.
Just focus, just focus now.
Looking out the window.
Close your eyes.
Lets bring, lets bring,
lets bring down the blacken skies.
