Flying is hours and hours of boredom sprinkled with a few seconds of sheer terror.

Frustrating Seconds
These seconds of time that seem so small
really are not that small at all.
They continuously add up to a minute.
Sixty seconds later and all that's within it
is larger as they pass.
And then they add up to an hour.
Now those seconds have more power.
They move along and soon there'll be
another day gone from you with me.
Seconds, minutes, hours and days
have grown so long in heartfelt ways.
They leave me wondering just how long
these drawn out seconds did me wrong?
I'd love to bundle them up real tight
and little by little squeeze them at night.
And when the dawn is here again
remember all of them and say Amen.
I do not wish my life away.
I just want those seconds to go their way.
Let them add up for another fool.
For these seconds for me are much too cruel.
I don't need seconds, minutes or hours
to remind me of eternity.
I will not count the time anymore
for all it contains is the misery
of being away from you.

Flight Delays (Life Poem)
Sympathyless disbelief when I complain again,
Delays are the balance for the glamour of flying.
Nine hours in Sao Paulo while the ATC strike,
Eight hours in Vienna while new wheel flies in,
Seven sins would be justified by this purgatory,
Six times six hours from CBB to DUB last week,
Five hours sweating in Port au Prince plastic chair,
Four hours for rain in Miami seems not so bad,
Three hours in Shannon for bomb threat search,
Two hours sitting in Seattle with mad dash in Kennedy.
One would be happier walking, swimming or driving.

Is All About You
1 hour unity,
2 hours peace,
3 hours playing,
4 hours sleeping,
5 hours smiling,
6 hours living,
7 hours trusting in your muse!
For this river is mine and yours foeevers;
And, i want to be close to you always.
1 hour smiling,
2 hours learning,
3 hours thinking,
4 hours with your muse,
5 hours teaching,
6 hours working,
But, the 7th hour comes for me to sleep with you;
Because, this love is all about you! !
And, i want to be with you always.

The Coloured Hours
GRAY hours have cities,
Green hours have rhymes
Of hearts grown loving
In old summertimes,
But the white hours have only
A cloud in the sky
And a star, bright and lonely,
To remember them by.
Gold hours have laughter,
Red hours have song
Drawn from lost fountains
Of beauty and wrong.
But the white hours,–O, tender
As rose-flakes they lie,
With youth's fallen splendour
To remember them by.

~time~
As the hours drag on
the doctors rush to save her life
as the hours drag on
the day ends with no hope left
as the hours drag on
a nurse in forms a young girls family full of distress
as the minutes pass by
a young girl slowly dies
as the minutes pass by
a dieing girl whispers her last good byes
as the seconds tick past
she breaths her last breath
as seconds tick past
a family is struck with the truth that life does not last forever
months past in a blur
years will only dull the pain for the family
eternity till they will meet again

Hurtful Hours
So many hurtful hours
until I'll hear your voice.
Just seconds, just seconds
that would be my choice.
The wait is long. The wait is hard.
It's so very tough.
And when I finally hear from you
the minutes are not enough.
I sit on pins and needles
and let the time go by.
Sometimes I get weepy.
I try hard not to cry.
'Cause crying is a hurtful thing
and is no help to me.
So I dry my tears and wait for the phone
to bring sweet peace to me.
Speak to me. Speak to me.
Tell me what I want to hear,
that those hurtful, hurtful hours
are the same for you, my dear.

Four hours of makeup, and then an hour to take it off. It's tiring. I go in, I get picked up at two-thirty in the morning, I get there at three. I wait four hours, go through it, ready to work at seven, work all day long for twelve hours, and get it taken off for an hours, go home and go to sleep, and do the same thing again.

It's a shame that the only thing a man can do for eight hours a day is work. He can't eat for eight hours; he can't drink for eight hours; he can't make love for eight hours. The only thing a man can do for eight hours is work.

War is Boredom
War is Boredom
War is Boredom
War can be defined as long periods of boredom, short burst of terror, seemingly lasting forever, To those who are there, Waiting for another outburst, which never seems to cease.
You Pray, you count all your blessings, the outgoing not what you fear, its the incoming that can't be trusted.
War can be defined as boredom, for those who's life was spared, as the days in between that matters, on those who life spent there.

7 Hours
Today's a sunny day
And there's a lot of time to go with it
For me
I want to celebrate and have fun for 7 hours
So ladies and gentlemen
Make the food
Fill up the drinks
It's going to be a fun 7 hours
I'll bring my poems
Maybe my photos
Perhaps even show the ladies a dance I know
7 hours
And the time is ours
Full of nice memories
Full of good times
Full of new friendships
Full of whatever we want to make of it
These 7 hours
These 7 hours of perhaps stress free and
drama free
These 7 hours to be what we want it to be

17
17 seconds of compassion
17 seconds of peace
17 seconds to remember love is the energy
behind which all is created
17 seconds to remember all that is good
17 seconds to forget all your hurt and pain
17 seconds of faith
17 seconds to trust you again
17 seconds of radiance
17 seconds to send a prayer up
17 seconds is all you really need

Innocent Birds
Birds are innocent.
They fly from place to place.
In search of peace and happiness.
Like everyone else.
I wish I had wings.
Flying everywhere and roaming here and there.
All the places and somewhere else.
Their life is like ours.
Like a day of 24 hours.
And a time of few hours.
Birds are hunted for nothing else.
Hunters have them for something else.

Wherever You Are
There is a beautiful woman , an ordinary guy
You let her into your heart,
Its a part of the show but you never know why
You fall in love in a minute and its a bottomless well
And shed be draggin you down til you just wanna die
Its a livin hell
Wherever you go , you live inside of me
I was born to make you see what you never learned
Wherever you are , well let the lovin go down
Lovin evry minute
The seconds , the hours , that you wait around
What if I like to play but the world gets in the way
Instead of loving you Im losing you
And losing just dont pay
Somebody give me the night
Give me a chance to feel
I see your face in the sky ,
In the moon and the stars
But you know it aint real
You battle love to the limit
Ah ,but you never can win
You finish up cryin tears in the
Wild woods but you cant give in
Wherever you are , well let the lovin go down
Lovin every minute
The seconds , the hours , that you wait around
What if I like to play but the world gets in the way
Instead of loving you , Im losing you
And losing just dont pay
Wherever you are ,you know the lovin dont end
And though you make it a crime girl , I love ya
I try to talk to you woman
You got your mind on your own
There may be somebody else in your eyes girl
But youre still alone
Wherever you go my love will follow you
My dream will make it through
If I ever learn
Wherever you are , well let the lovin go down
Loving every minute
The seconds , the hours , that you wait around
What if I like to play but the world gets in the way
Instead of loving you , Im losing you
And losing just dont pay
(repeat last verse and fade out )

Care Free Guy
he stands against
an old wall
on folded arms
watching people
pass by
let time kills its hours
let it choke the minutes
faded denims
white shirt
he winks at the lady
who believes that
a man likes him
has a lot of time to
offer her
she is boredom
he is the perfect man for her
he kills time
he shall choke her hours
like the way her hands
press her breasts
squeezing
her private moments
to juices of
their complimentary
convenience

Since We Are Still Here
since we are still here
we make the best we can
to make the stay
worth the while
we may have longer hours
of boredom
we may have more hours
for the small stuff
we sweat all these out
small stuff, little things, trivial matters
somehow we ask why?
oh, these little things if we do not mind
they make the boat leak
they make us sick & make the boat sink
