The lowest trees have tops

The lowest trees have tops, the ant her gall,
The fly her spleen, the little spark his heat,
And slender hairs cast shadows though but small,
And bees have stings although they be not great.
Seas have their source, and so have shallow springs,
And love is love in beggars and in kings.

Where waters smoothest run, deep are the fords,
The dial stirs, yet none perceives it move:
The firmest faith is in the fewest words,
The turtles cannot sing, and yet they love,
True hearts have eyes and ears no tongues to speak:
They hear, and see, and sigh, and then they break.

Whatever You Like

I have two ears
I have to hear atleast twice.
You have no ears
Why should I speak?

See, Tears only
Rolling from my eyes
And I am unable to see.
You have big round eyes
You can also do
Whatever you like.

A Girl Needs To Love

Just before you break my heart,
I feel that there is something I must say
Before you go your way
Go on, have your fun and see if you can break
Their hearts like me , big man, youll never understand
That a girl needs to love and be loved as i
Both your hearts should be in the sky
And you know that its true (you know that its true)
When it happens to you (when it happens to you )
Though I really care for you
I think its only fair for you to try
Go ahead and say goodbye
Maybe one day when you fall , I think that i
Shall tell them all and so , oh maybe then youll know
That a girl needs to love and be loved as i
Both your hearts should be in the sky
And you know that its true (you know that its true )
When it happens to you (when it happens to you )
(break)
Go on have your fun and see
If you can break their hearts like me
Big man, youll never understand
That a girl needs to love and be loved as i
Both your hearts should be in the sky
And you know that its true ( you know that its true )
When it happens to you (when it happens to you )

Is Time a Healer?

Too many lies have reached my ears.
They say time erases the tears.
But I have found this is not true
for pain is with me through and through.
I miss him at the break of day
and still hear people say.
'Time is a healer. You will see.'
but all it does is create memory.

Reminders are in the smell of the air.
I breathe it in on days so fair.
I hear a song that takes me back
to distant times and I overreact.
My heart is stricken and cannot heal.
It's lost its power to even feel.
I will not listen to anyone's lies.
I'll close my ears and shut my eyes
and pray for memories to recede.

Lost Children

we have become lost children,
stumbling in the dark.
numbed by the face of our own hunger,
we cannot recognize ourselves in others.
having laid down the torch,
we follow flashlights....
praying to a god too indifferent to hear.
a god created in our own image,
complete with holes and burnt tongues.
we blame the snake for our desire,
and wear the mark of Cain.
we build weapons made of fear,
and bury our parents in sterile graves.
we wear the chains and shackles,
with heads bowed as mindless servants.
we close our ears to the cry of suffering,
and our eyes to the ribs of need.

so who will come, and who will shout?
who will stand and face the storm?
who will bear the sins and take the lash?
who dares to speak the truth?
who will reach the hand to the enemy?
who will name the bodies?
who will give both eyes and ears?
who will dare to be? .....
if not you and i, then we're forever lost,
if not now, then they'll be no tomorrow!
if not now... then when my friend?

Mine Eyes

Sometimes we say before we speak
It's funny how we so bold
Without a word the words are still heard
Somehow the eyes they told

Isn't it funny how we can be
Such creatures of such mystery
All that we are and what's true in our hearts
Through our eyes we can so clearly see

Oh the mysteries within our own souls
We hide so others wont know
But in the end and in the blink of an eye
Your eyes on you they told

Isn't it funny how life can be
Isn't it funny about you and me
Such creatures we are we tell on our hearts
Our eyes have so learned to speak

Sometimes we say without a word
Our eyes so tell the truth
Can you see mine eyes so telling on me
Can you see that I so love you.

That lonely girl

Somewhere 'neath the blue sky
But a little above the deep
Somewhere in this little universe
My ears can hear something
Yes my ears can hear a voice

Stranger than every familiar thing
Better than that butterfly injured wing
Nicer than that crying droplet
More beautiful than my old love song
Louder than the firefly whisper
Quieter than the moon cry

My eyes are searching that voice
May be someone is shouting
No
No, that’s a cry

Someone in this world is crying
Someone is weeping
But no one can hear
No one can see

People don’t hear
People don’t see
People are not people
People inhale love
But exhale nothing
People's hearts are full of nothing

Love is dead in their hearts
Love is where, the stars with weepy eyes are
Love is where, whenever you look down you see nothing but red roses
Love is where, the sky is simply blue and the rainbow's smile has seven colors
Love is in that lonely girl's heart

A lonely girl nigh the pond in rain

Yes it rains
Yes it rains to wash only her eyes
Yes it rains to cover people's colorless hearts
Yes it rains, cause after that, when the rainbow comes
People will know black is not the only color

I can think
I can feel
I can hear
I can understand
I can love

She is still crying

She is crying to prove that people are harder than meteor
But softer than nothing
No feeling
No understanding
She is crying

Twelfth Sunday After Trinity

The Son of God in doing good
Was fain to look to Heaven and sigh:
And shall the heirs of sinful blood
Seek joy unmixed in charity?
God will not let Love's work impart
Full solace, lest it steal the heart;
Be thou content in tears to sow,
Blessing, like Jesus, in thy woe:

He looked to Heaven, and sadly sighed -
What saw my gracious Saviour there,
"With fear and anguish to divide
The joy of Heaven-accepted prayer?
So o'er the bed where Lazarus slept
He to His Father groaned and wept:
What saw He mournful in that grave,
Knowing Himself so strong to save?"

O'erwhelming thoughts of pain and grief
Over His sinking spirit sweep; -
What boots it gathering one lost leaf
Out of yon sere and withered heap,
Where souls and bodies, hopes and joys,
All that earth owns or sin destroys,
Under the spurning hoof are cast,
Or tossing in th' autumnal blast?

The deaf may hear the Saviour's voice,
The fettered tongue its chain may break;
But the deaf heart, the dumb by choice,
The laggard soul, that will not wake,
The guilt that scorns to be forgiven; -
These baffle e'en the spells of Heaven;
In thought of these, His brows benign
Not e'en in healing cloudless shine.

No eye but His might ever bear
To gaze all down that drear abyss,
Because none ever saw so clear
The shore beyond of endless bliss:
The giddy waves so restless hurled,
The vexed pulse of this feverish world,
He views and counts with steady sight,
Used to behold the Infinite.

But that in such communion high
He hath a fount of strength within,
Sure His meek heart would break and die,
O'erburthened by His brethren's sin;
Weak eyes on darkness dare not gaze,
It dazzles like the noonday blaze;
But He who sees God's face may brook
On the true face of Sin to look.

What then shall wretched sinners do,
When in their last, their hopeless day,
Sin, as it is, shall meet their view,
God turn His face for aye away?
Lord, by Thy sad and earnest eye,
When Thou didst look to Heaven and sigh:
Thy voice, that with a word could chase
The dumb, deaf spirit from his place;

As Thou hast touched our ears, and taught
Our tongues to speak Thy praises plain,
Quell Thou each thankless godless thought
That would make fast our bonds again.
From worldly strife, from mirth unblest,
Drowning Thy music in the breast,
From foul reproach, from thrilling fears,
Preserve, good Lord, Thy servants' ears.

From idle words, that restless throng
And haunt our hearts when we would pray,
From Pride's false chime, and jarring wrong,
Seal Thou my lips, and guard the way:
For Thou hast sworn, that every ear,
Willing or loth, Thy trump shall hear,
And every tongue unchained be
To own no hope, no God, but Thee.

Psalm 81

In the midst of the noise I speak to you
Open your ears and hear my voice
I removed your shoulder from the burden
And yet I do not hear my children rejoice

I hear them complain and grumble aloud
They are blinded by their own desire
Their mouths confess but their hearts deny
Yet still by night they follow the fire

My heart was to give you milk and honey
And to give you the finest wheat
You could have stood and saw the power of God
And watch your enemies fall to defeat

Yet even now I speak to you
I would fill you with passion and desire
Humble yourself before the Lord
And I will fill you with a fire

Within Reach

Prick up your dulled ears, be brave;
Hear the dislodged dirt flying
Listen; the shovels of subservience
Bury truth but carve out your grave.

If a measure of wisdom still remains;
Listen attentively and lift up your eyes.
Remember what you learned as a child.
Release the thirst for ill-gotten gains.

Look upon the mound of soil
Incline your head to this word,
Don't disregard this pronouncement.
In time, it rewards your labour and toil.

Taste with your scalded tongues,
Your now-forgotten native fare.
Wonder at that temperamental jive;
An archived litany of faults harangue.

Let inherited prudence beseech;
Open ears and responsive hearts
No longer make light of death:
Salvation now placed within our reach.

Stubborn Hearts

Stubborn hearts never learn
They will just keep on breaking
For faithless love they always yearn
Not tired from all the waiting.

Stubborn hearts keep loving
When ears are deaf to words
When eyes are blind to seeing
All the passion it accords.

Stubborn hearts are always true
And realize the matter
This heart is always here for you
And it cannot wait for later.

Minutes To Midnight

Everybody say God is a good man
Ah, clock on the world
Driving a dump truck up to the sun
A sigh in the human heart
I look at the clock on the wall
It says three minutes to midnight
Faith is blind when were so near
Phar lap floating in a jar
Seas full of submarines, a.w.a.c.s like flies
Truth gets harder to define
Talking in tongues
But the dancers hand grips the rail
And fingers will blister on the 88s
Hope drains out of the side of the page
But ears cant hear
What eyes dont see
And you cant see me
Everybody say God is a good man
Everybody say 1,2,3
Set up those gunsights in h.g. wells backyard
I.c.b.ms, s.s.20s they lie so dormant they got so many
Remember your childhood
Remember the journey
Hope is what you say and do

Put Out My Eyes

Put out my eyes, and I can see you still,
Slam my ears to, and I can hear you yet;
And without any feet can go to you;
And tongueless, I can conjure you at will.
Break off my arms, I shall take hold of you
And grasp you with my heart as with a hand;
Arrest my heart, my brain will beat as true;
And if you set this brain of mine afire,
Then on my blood-stream I yet will carry you.

The Wall Have Ears

The walls have ears, ears that hear each little sound you make
Every time you stamp through a lamp and every cup and dish you break
But they can't hear a kiss or two arms that hold you tight
So come on baby, don't fight tonight
The walls have ears, better think before you fling that shoe
If you part my hair with a chair, they'll spread the news to Timbuktu
But they can't hear a kiss or two arms that hold you tight
So come on baby, don't fight tonight
Jets can fly, fast and high, rockets can go even faster
But they can't catch or even match sound traveling through plaster
The walls have ears, ears that hear each little sound you make
Every time you stamp through a lamp and every cup and dish you break
But they can't hear a kiss or two arms that hold you tight
So come on baby, don't fight tonight
Just in tonight
Don't fight tonight

Conversation

Look at me.
Don’t talk back.
My heart cannot speak-
My eyes can feel
Do not threaten-
You are all I have-
The skies are screaming outside-
In this instant, I hear my name called,
Talk to me with your words, misconstrued,
As threatening as
A winter storm from hell,
Listen:
I hear you- and I know
You can hear me too-
Your words are senseless, though at times
Comforting,
Warm,
Scintillating,
As a soul afire –
Quiet as a cat tiptoeing upon a cloud or
A symphony of drumsticks, muffled, or a
Single snowflake falling without rhythm upon a
Field of dandelions-
Outside,
The sky is calling me-
I do not hear,
Only your words, can I hear?
Every day and night we meet in this room,
Dark as fear, or light as a ray of agonizing and heated…
Fury?
My eyes can feel pain but
My heart cannot speak or feel-
My ears are deafened to the words of the people
Who intimidate,
Menace,
Wish to harm me?
I can hear the voices of people talking,
Conversing about me,
Those, whom I cannot see,
Although my eyes can feel the pain,
My heart won’t speak as
It cannot feel-
Speak to me
Your senseless words,
Do not look at me,
Your eyes could be daggers of death and ill fated-
Outside, the sky is calling-
Snow is falling
Flake by flake,
I cannot see, although
If my heart could speak, it would say
“I love you”
I feel safe with you-
You are not real, and
Your senseless words are a symphony,
Your garbled messages are poetry,
Do not take them back,
They warm my heart,
Though it cannot speak-
The sky is calling,
Calling?
Me?
I am terrified,
Please help me-
Your chaotic words are overpowering,
Frighteningly beautiful, and almost threatening –
Although safe because
You are not real, and that is the reason
I love you …

Unbreak the glasses

CARE.. CARE with handle
Speak Speak with gentle
Hold Hold like you never hold it before
Because once it broken it's hard to fix it
So don't break the glasses

Quench the thrust by Drinking H2O
Helps enlarging the letters
Protects your eyes
Seeing you through it
How could you break it
So don't break it

Seeing myself into you
Watching through you the outside rain and rainbow
Peeping through you to check the traffic
Feels safe n beautiful
So why..Break it

All About You

hear our praises
hear your people sing
hear our hearts cry
your love is everything
and all will hear this shout
as the nations turn to you
and this will be your anthem
'cause we're all about you
and the world you promise
and all we have will give you praise
'cause we're all about you
and the world can't stop us
living your way, always
let our hearts break as we praise your name
let the earth shake
this is the sound of faith
and the walls will fall down
and religion will break
and the nations will hear this shout
can you hear the sound of faith?
all the walls are falling down
as all the nations praaise
and all the world will hear this shout
can you hear the sound of faith?
