Coping Up With The Realities Of This Earth...

it will be
another lie, it will be another justification for
the preciousness of life
and its survival,
it will be another excuse
for having to follow rules,
it will be another saying
that because
i am here, so i must be like you,
and the rest of
the residents

it will be another sacrifice of
my authenticity
in favor of conformity

it will be from one cloak to another cloak
in order to keep this body warm
and then one cold wind
follows another cold wind
to make me colder all over
again

my hands shall then
by the passage of time
have mastered the techniques
of folding
to protect what i am
and what i have.

it will be another pain,
to another pain, ... i do not really know
when will this end

Pleasure And Pain

I know some people
who have experienced both
the pleasure and the pain
and some of that pain still remains
with them to this day.
One had the pleasure when they were young
when the pleasure they had
was classed as wrong
and they became the scorn of the community.
They then fell in love,
but no wedding bells did play.
Now they say they live in sin.
What sin is this you ask?
When two people live together
and share their life with one another.
Maybe they are not married,
but their lives together are happy.
Who are we to condemn them
for everything they have,
certainly not I.
How can you condemn them
for living together as man and wife?
The answer is you cannot
for when you look at it
many marriages are only just
two signatures on a piece of paper.

In LIfe...Unless There Is Pain...There Can Not Be Joy

You Are The Pain and The Joy

You are the Pain and the joy
on the stage of life.

You are the pain hunger and the joy
of food on ones table.

You are the pain of the homeless,
and the joy, of the home,
in His heart.

You are the pain on a bitter,
winter day and the joy, in
the warmth of the sun.

You are the pain and joy, in the
solitude, of those moments alone.

You are the pain and joy, that
lingers in ones heart.

You are the pain in music that is bad,
and you are the joy, in my song
of life.

You are the pain, in the tragedies
of the world, and the joy in the
goodness of people.

You are the pain of the orphans of
the street, and the joy, in a
mothers love.

You are the pain, in a sometime unjust
world, and the joy in the spirit
of ones heart.

You are the pain, in the loss of
loved ones, and the joy, when they
are seated at His table.

You are the pain of self destructive
addiction and the joy in redemption.

You are the pain, in the sicknesses of
this world, and the joy in the
hope of recovery.

You are the pain in the misery of the poor,
and disenfranchise, and the joy, in
the parts of society, that attempts to,
raise them up.

You are the pain and you are the joy,
in all things. For you see, in life, there
can not be joy...unless there is pain.

For a happy couple

When situations do not play out
As we would wish them to, we become
Critical, irritated and furious.
We curse and condemn from helplessness.

To curse or condemn wrongs is a refusal
To accept their reality; note.
Not to curse or condemn wrongs is not
That you condoned them and from weakness.

A dog's tail cannot be kept straightened.
Either accept it as a reality
And remain with it if you have to.
Thus spouses can be in harmony.

Metamorphose

There are days in everybody’s life,
days when turmoil strikes every mortal fibre
and drives us down into a seemingly bottomless pit.
It is up to us to struggle out of it
and when we see the sunlight
a metamorphose takes place
and we chuck away that cloak of darkness,
replacing it with a cloak of light.
Our smile is returned
and again we faced the world
with a smile on our face.

Scarlet Cloak

The scarlet cloak of loneliness
covers my sorrowed soul
and my gentle heart is benign
to any chosen fact.
Each day I gather straws
I reach out to cling to
but each one snaps within my grasp
and I wonder what I’ll do.
The hollow world I live in
echoes my vacant thoughts.
Even the hues of colours that
surround me everyday
cannot remove this scarlet cloak
that wants to smother me away.

5. In Pain

In pain I wonder why it is
That I should feel this way
In pain I sleep so rarely now
My nights turn into day

In pain I try to think of things
To help me ease this pain
In pain I practice memory games
But there it’s gone again

In pain I cannot reach for things
Do tasks I want to do
In pain I do not bend a lot
And can’t put on my shoe

In pain I look at what I was
Before I had this trouble
In pain I stop reflecting back
It only makes pain double

In pain I see a different world
Than what I had before
In pain I have restrictions
But I’ve learned that less means more

Why is there pain in this world?

Why is there pain in this world?
When brothers fight brothers for no reason
Faced with the light of a gun ready to shot down there own
Yet the pain and the suffering never stops people
When the guns go off and children die

Why is there pain in this world?
When family fight when kids are looking on
Yet they never see the pain and suffering that they have caused
Yet when they see it too late time has gone
If only they notice there pain as well

Why is there pain in this world?
When the school bell has gone kids should be happy
Yet in the dark corner lays the bully ready to pound his prey
Yet the victim suffer in pain and silent’s too scared
To tell other what is going on

Why is there pain in this world?
When people are hungry when you or I have enough
Why can’t we help them try and ease the pain we can stop them being hungry
We can ease there pain and stop them from starving
Why can’t you see that when I can?

Why is there pain in this world?
When all we need to do is open are eyes and look
Yet were a nation a world that too blind to notice the pain that does not need to be
So here these words open your eyes and see if you can help.
Pain can be eased if only you believe that you can see.

Pain for you

This pain is for you
Many things I believe for you is pain
I dont want any pain from you but I accepted your pain
I'll take the pain from you forever

Pain can be your own mistake
pain can lead to your own troubles
pain can lead to anything inside of you
you just need to get some help
you need some assistances to get you out of the pain

Many pains cannot be removed
many can stay forever and ever
many think pain isnt nothing for them
pain is everything you learn from outside world

you may get it someday
someday you will see what I learn from pain
you can see me with cuts on my arms
that was pain, everything I want is pain

Love is pain too you know
you left me alone in the outside world
pain is getting inside of me, not letting me go
I'm alone in the darkness of shadows

This pain is for you
Many things I believe for you is pain
I dont want any pain from you but I accepted your pain
I'll take the pain from you forever

This pain is everything painful has it is
ready for everything is to be done for you
I'll be ready for everyone's pain
Every shadows of darkness is there inside of me
tearing me apart to learn from you and the people

So I'll take everyone's pain away
so you can tell me about your pain and
forever pure

Intoxication

Under osiers with ivy ingrown
We are trying to hide from bad weather.
I am clasping your arms in my own,
In one cloak we are huddled together.

I was wrong. Not with ivy-leaves bound,
But with hops overgrown is the willow.
Well then, let us spread out on the ground
This our cloak as a sheet and a pillow.

The Old Cloak

THIS winter's weather it waxeth cold,
And frost it freezeth on every hill,
And Boreas blows his blast so bold
That all our cattle are like to spill.
Bell, my wife, she loves no strife;
   She said unto me quietlye,
Rise up, and save cow Crumbock's life!
Man, put thine old cloak about thee!

He. O Bell my wife, why dost thou flyte?
Thou kens my cloak is very thin:
It is so bare and over worn,
   A cricke thereon cannot renn.
Then I'll no longer borrow nor lend;
   For once I'll new apparell'd be;
To-morrow I'll to town and spend;
For I'll have a new cloak about me.

She. Cow Crumbock is a very good cow:
   She has been always true to the pail;
She has helped us to butter and cheese, I trow,
And other things she will not fail.
I would be loth to see her pine.
Good husband, counsel take of me:
It is not for us to go so fine--
Man, take thine old cloak about thee!

He. My cloak it was a very good cloak,
   It hath been always true to the wear;
But now it is not worth a groat:
I have had it four and forty year'.
Sometime it was of cloth in grain:
'Tis now but a sigh clout, as you may see:
It will neither hold out wind nor rain;
And I'll have a new cloak about me.

She. It is four and forty years ago
   Sine the one of us the other did ken;
And we have had, betwixt us two,
Of children either nine or ten:
We have brought them up to women and men:
In the fear of God I trow they be.
And why wilt thou thyself misken?
Man, take thine old cloak about thee!

He. O Bell my wife, why dost thou flyte?
Now is now, and then was then:
Seek now all the world throughout,
Thou kens not clowns from gentlemen:
They are clad in black, green, yellow and blue,
So far above their own degree.
Once in my life I'll take a view;
For I'll have a new cloak about me.

She. King Stephen was a worthy peer;
   His breeches cost him but a crown;
He held them sixpence all too dear,
Therefore he called the tailor 'lown.'
He was a king and wore the crown,
And thou'se but of a low degree:
It 's pride that puts this country down:
Man, take thy old cloak about thee!

He. Bell my wife, she loves not strife,
   Yet she will lead me, if she can;
And to maintain an easy life
   I oft must yield, though I'm good-man.
It 's not for a man with a woman to threap,
Unless he first give o'er the plea:
As we began, so will we keep,
And I'll take my old cloak about me.
