Far Too Quickly Relationships Are Over (Stave Stanza Sestets)
Far too quickly relationships are over,
and people move on to the next lover,
do not stick with the one, whom they adore,
want the quick-fix, to find something more,
think that in maturity they are growing
they do not care where their lives are going
In my own past, time moved much too fast,
and I want a relationship that will last
had enough turbulence for a lifetime
and now that I am passing my own prime

I Know a Girl
I have a friend that I have never met.
A friend of two people.
Of two lives.
One people see and one people don’t.
One writes of pain and heartache while the other,
Lives within.
She wants to be that person trapped inside,
although she doesn’t know her customs.
Her poetry consist of tears and heartbreak.
Yet, the only thing I see is,
The smile she brings to my face,
a great person to talk to,
cause she'll make you laugh,
even if you wanna cry.
I wonder how such a beautiful person,
Could be gray to so many people.
I wish I could tell her everything,
Is going to be O.K. in time of doubt.
But she is the one that has to dig into herself,
To figure out how to become that person,
She wants to be, she needs to be, and I know she is.
Her writing may be made of pain and weakness.
But all I see is,
A smile that makes everyone like her,
That has great strength to get her through hardships.
She is some one I tell my secrets too.
Someone that sees me for who I am,
The me without the mask,
The me with not such a smooth shall,
And is unsure about her next move.

Inequalities in the world
So much corruption,
so much hurt,
so much pain going on in the world,
so many people are treated unequally,
they haven't heard of equality,
they're exploited for everything they have a way of living from,
and we see the poverty infront of our eyes,
but it seems however hard we try,
it's always worse than before,
all these bloodthirsty wars,
pulverising our morals,
corrupting our purified souls,
grinding away at our faith,
discrimination progressing,
slowly generates hate,
predjudice blossoming angrilly on a dead tree,
so many people,
so many lives,
so many children are blatantly deprived,
so much greed,
so much is unfair,
we need to pull together for their welfare,
so many families struggling to survive,
all of these people have difficult lives,
yet we're complaining about working from nine till five,
if we swapped lives,
we wouldn't survive,
so why don't we realise,
that they're so many people,
so much of them are deprived?
We need to work together,
work as a team,
we can make this better,
we can make the world gleam.

Some people guard their money
as being the most precious thing
in their lives.
Some people worship their loved ones

out side of heaven they will ever get.

Choir Master: Gareth Malone
He’s been the whole nation over, setting up choirs,
Whipping up enthusiasm and fuelling souls with fire.
In people’s abilities, Gareth truly does believe;
Wanting to show them what can be achieved.
When people experience the feeling of self doubt,
From out of their shell, he patiently coaxes them out.
Whereas people didn’t have the confidence before,
Because of him, they suddenly want to do more.
All of their lives, some people have felt too shy,
But now, with encouragement, they’re willing to try.
Gareth sincerely believes that everyone can sing.
He knows the joy to lives which music can bring.
Being part of a choir, people can make new friends,
And shattered souls, music can help to slowly mend.
To be part of a choir, they now are much more willing.
The fruits of their labours can be so totally thrilling.
To regular rehearsals, he hopes people will commit.
Through song, he knows, communities do often knit.
Of their communities, he wants people to be proud,
And encourages them to stand up and sing out loud.
Through media exposure on radio and TV,
He’s shown just what fun singing can be.
At various events, when his choirs have performed,
They’ve been well received and gone down a storm.
With Gareth’s guts and never ending determination,
Singing is now considered a cool hobby across the nation.
More people have been joining choirs than ever before;
His influence on choral music, you just can’t ignore.
He has managed to break through the class barrier;
For choirs everywhere, he is like a torch carrier.
He should be so very proud of what he’s done,
As into many people’s lives, he’s brought music and fun.

Are people really so bored
with their own lives
especially in small rural towns
that other people's lives
must become common
run away gossip oh so much
more interesting than
theirs own off limits lives?
Nosy people are basically
exactly that just nosy
nosy people need
little provocation
little scent incentive
bait bloodhound
encouragement
to engage actively in
their favourite pass time.
But secretly
most people
are short term gossip
really they do not
care that much
