Far Too Quickly Relationships Are Over (Stave Stanza Sestets)

Far too quickly relationships are over,
and people move on to the next lover,
do not stick with the one, whom they adore,
want the quick-fix, to find something more,
think that in maturity they are growing
they do not care where their lives are going

In my own past, time moved much too fast,
and I want a relationship that will last
had enough turbulence for a lifetime
and now that I am passing my own prime
in some of my friends the years are showing,
they do not care where their lives are going.

Special People

The world is filled with special people,
who are there when you need them.
They blend into the background,
emerging only when we have troubles in our lives.
They are special people because they are there for us,
no matter how many problems their lives might possess.
They care for others more than they care for themselves.
These special people who touch our lives,
and whom we simply call our friends.

My Friends Back In My Prime Years

My friends back in my prime years I never did disown
It's just that I live far from them and apart we have grown
We drank and played football together but our separate ways we've gone
And we have forged new friendships and life of course goes on.

My friends back in my prime years may now look a bit gray
And they might not know me or I might not know them if by chance we met today
In my memory they have remained young but in reality
The years have left their mark on them as the years have left their mark on me.

Old father time the aloof one to anyone doesn't bow
And some of my friends of my prime years may be grand parents now
Perhaps they now are showing their age and time has left them slow
They could run fast as I recall some twenty years ago.

My friends back in my prime years I may now not recognize
For time leaves it's mark on all of us I've come to realize
I drunk beer with them in the pub and with them played football
And that was many years ago as I can well recall.

Passing Me

In a hurry I ran down the street
People were blurs that I did meet
But as quick as I was and twice as fast
I could not outrun my sins or even my past.
I thought I had left them so many years ago
When I was younger and didn't think about growing old
Doing the things which I should never had done
Not knowing that one day they would be a rerun.
But now they keep passing me again and again
Which were my lies and evils which are a sin
Though as fast as I was or that I could ever be
They always catch up, and then they pass me.
How I wish that I was faster than they were
But that is a stupid wish, that I once had observed
Now I am hoping and praying that they never existed
But then one day I know that they all will be listed.
Now wherever that I run my past is already there
With no remorse or humility, sadness or even care
So I guess that I must run for the rest of my life
Or maybe hide away somewhere, where there is no strife.
I now look over my shoulder whenever that I can
As I try to prepare myself wherever that I am
Hopefully my strength and endurance will forever last
But sadly the faster that I run, I still can't outrun my past.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile.

The Prime Time Of Our Lives

It's the prime time of our lives
And I've never seen us more alive
Now that the night has finally arrived
I'm looking for some fun and to survive

Join hands with me
We'll slow down the time
We'll dance the last song
The prime time of our lives is here in this time for us now

When you reach a certain point in your life
You better push it to the extremes
And that's what we're doing
We're celebrating dreams
We're living dreams
We're creating new dreams
In the prime time of our lives

The time is now
In our choices
In what we thought
In what we bought
In what we've got
Thank god for now
It's the prime time of our lives

Too Much Too Soon

Hey this bottles empty, you got 2 bucks?
Cmon, well buy a bottle
Alright, Im headin to the store and Im gonna buy smokes
Hot damn"
Every night, I go out and get in my car, oh yeah
I push on the peddle but you know I go too far
Therere parties everywhere that I can see
Usin myself will be the death of me
Ya see every night I get a call on the telephone
My sweet little baby beggin me just to come home
But I know that everyday I gotta have me some fun
With Suzy to the left and Sally to my right
I know that I need just more than one
Chorus
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Lets go
When the night goes on and I seem to see some friends / Now a buck for the car for the gas goes so fast? / With friends like that tell me whos gonna last / Well the citys hot but tonight Im not / I want everything that everybodys got / Not a badge in the pan or a legend hand / Just give me one more, one last dance
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Lets go
Take the car, take the keys
Said my money dont grow on trees
You make me stumble and fall
T'ill I'm bloody at my knees?
I climbed back up to find that all my money's gone
Too much too soon not know since its been so long?
You can drive me to the edge but I really dont mind
Ya see when Im in my car I leave you behind
Theres another girl thats waitin down the road
When Im out the door you know thats just where Ill go
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room
Said its too much too fast
I dont care if I wont last
Said its too much too soon
I dont care, get outta my room

Care Not With Jealousy

faces friends events
memories labyrinth mazes
time encapsulate lives

care not with jealousy
count not the few or many
time slip transcendency

most had another lover
multiple lovers four leaf clover
mind in joy hover cover

first taste love relationships
tender innocence time porous rips
reins embodiment fate slips

why hold passion jealous stubborn fast
to who were memories in your lovers past
bliss times pass sadly cannot always last

for each gentle soul passing light
which filled your lovers day or night
be grateful spark was noble bright

be grateful for all kind past lovers
who gave happiness in meteorite showers
fate directed flowers to home meadows

how many men women were in her his past
be grateful for of them all true love may be last
fate directed her him into your path hold fast

what is true love true beauty
real love enfolds sacred duty
true heart be time ever worthy

be beautiful in love forget times past
embrace now so sacred love may last
embrace the future waylay not time last

I Don't Care Anymore

Well you can tell ev'ryone I'm a down disgrace
So drag my name all over the place.
I don't care anymore. (I don't care)
You can tell ev'rybody 'bout the state I'm in
You won't catch me crying 'cos I just can't win.
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
I don't care what you say
I don't play the same games you play.
'Cos I've been talking to the people that you call your friends
And it seems to me there's a means to and end.
They don't care anymore. (they don't care)
And as for me I can sit here and bide my time
I got nothing to lose if I speak my mind.
I don't care anymore I don't care no more
I don't care what you say
We never played by the same rules anyway.
I won't be there anymore
Get out of my way
Let me by
I got better things to do with my time
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
I don't care anymore I don't care anymore
Well, I don't care now what you say (I don't care what you say)
'Cos ev'ry day (everyday)
I'm feeling fine with myself (I'm feeling fine with myself)
And I don't care now what you say (I don't care what you say)
Hey I'll do alright by myself (I'll be alright by myself)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care (I don't care) anymore (anymore)
I don't care anymore
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
Do you care? Hell no!
What what?
'Cos I remember all the times I tried so hard
And you laughed in my face 'cos ya held all the cards.
I don't care anymore.
And I really ain't bothered what you think of me
'Cos all I want of you is just a let me be.
I don't care anymore
Did you hear? I don't care no more
I don't care what you say
I never did believe you much anyway.
We won't be there any more
So get out of our way.
Let us by
We got better things to do with our time
We don't care anymore
We don't care anymore
We don't care anymore
We don't care anymore
We don't care
We don't care
We don't care (anymore)
We don't care

Beyond Our Absency

Disregarding the opportunities that we meet/
Ignoring our most important responsibilities/
Unfortunately
Unwillingly we loose our most valuable years and their chances/

As we earn instead regrets/
The weakness of the will/
The loose of the faith/
Leads us to concern about our futures/

As with time we loose self confidant/
Disregarding of others capabilities to bear our immorality/
Our ignorance against other's feelings/
Leads us to disturbance/

As well as the loose of our most important relationships/
The avoidance and the fear to make a change/
In rough of importance of our cases to make a change/
Leads our lives as well as other people's lives/

Those who are the most valuable existence and the essential realities of our lives/
To never-ending sufferings/
Unfortunately sometimes unconsciously/
We do harm ourselves and people around/

We do care and love them/
Because of a very silly reasons we do harm them and ourselves/
Absency at the near future while we feel the results of the past faults/
While we suffer we forget that those are the results of our absence and unawareness/

I don’t care about your affairs
I don’t care how many your wives
I don’t care you divorce with who
What I need is your entertainment

I don’t care about your castles and cars
I don’t care about your new styles
I don’t care if you famous everywhere
I don’t care you know many connection
What I need is your talent

I don’t care about your plastic surgery
I don’t care about your disturbing behavior
I don’t care you run from your rehabilitation
I don’t care you have a fight with who
What I need is your hard work

I don’t care about your orientation
I don’t care about your life philosophy

For Who and Why

To those who value it...
Life becomes more precious,
When the thought of death and its permanence...
Comes to be not so distant,
In the reality of one who reflects on the years lived.

Fragile is this gift that has been given.
And those who believe,
They can do as they please at a time when they choose...
Often find themselves wishing they did not refuse,
To take that time when it came...
For themselves and no one else.

Realizing who they did that for...
Has either ignored them,
Or pushed them aside.
To show no appreciation.
As they live their own lives!

It is best to prioritize what one does...
For who and why!
Before they see their lives,
Like flashing snapshots.
Passing fast through what seems an hour glass.

its sad you were not there
people like you just dont care
i some times just think
do i care or may i dare

friends stand by their friends
just cant think, why you tripped
you should have been there
still me thinkin you cared

how sad, of me to belive
that the sad friends
was not real friends

so now i ve moved on
and got rid of them friends
and got great friends
who cares,

How fast does time fly by

How fast does time fly by
and with a wink of the eye,
the world has changed.

The time of sweet solitude,
unlocked doors
and little cares are past.

How fast have every thing changed
from a world of promise,
to a world gone wild and mad.

Before I can wipe
the sleep from my eyes,
I find myself in another time and place.

Uneducated people
are running my country,
into the ground.

Kids have no respect
and run their own lives
and use drugs and steal,

live only for themselves
and the here and now
like a bunch of hooligans running amok.

There’s corruption and gangsters everywhere
and hijackers and house invaders
and the police do not really seem to care.

How fast does time fly by
and with a wink of the eye,
the world has changed.

Quick We Are To Say

During lives we come to live,
There are many we don't see.
Even though we share,
The passing of cast shadows.

Everyday there is,
Opportunities to meet.
But our eyes just look away,
While walking upon the streets.

Few stop to say, 'Hello how are you today? '
Or care to know,
Who feels...
As we do!

During lives we come to live,
There are many we don't see.
Even though we share,
The passing of cast shadows.

And...
We don't dare to bother to ask,
How one feels.
Or...
Dare to smile to greet,
When we pass.

But...
Quick we are to say,
Kiss my...!
As if that was a favorite task,
Mastered...
In a class.

Everyday there is,
Opportunities to meet.
But our eyes just look away,
While walking upon the streets.

Few stop to say, 'Hello how are you today? '
Or care to know,
Who feels...
As we do!

During lives we come to live,
There are many we don't see.
Even though we share,
The passing of cast shadows.

We choose,
Instead...
To be rude.

America's Pride

America’s pride is growing.
America’s pride is showing.
Flags I see—it seems everywhere.
But were they always there?
Somehow, we didn’t seem to care.
On September 11, it all changed so fast.
And the memories of that day will forever last.
It seemed to be just another day.
We’d all be up and be on our way.
But then out of nowhere, death came from the sky,
And we watched in horror as we saw people die.
Suddenly America’s pride became anew.
Everywhere I look I see the red, white and blue.
Now we’re fighting a people we don’t understand
And sending our planes to a far distant land.
America’s pride is growing.
America’s pride is showing.

What Do You Care

(robert palmer)
Youre such a rebel now can you remember when
They used to think you knew what added up to ten
Youre sick and tired of taking punches to your side
Now youre gonna add it up to any number that you like
(tell me) what do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
You thought thered always be another shot to take
You crave attention now with every move you make
You like to advertise your interest in success
But you dont know on the score of who youre trying to impress
(tell me) what do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
Baby yeah yeah
Everybodys gonna have their say
You cant please everyone
Why delay what you say
Lets decide to name the day
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
No matter what you need Ill never be your fool
Do me a favour and Ill do the same for you
Go ahead do what you have to do
Dont worry if you should do it
Tell me you love me now
Oh girl I wish you would do it
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think
What do you care
What do you care
bout what other people think

The Boys I Went To School With

We played football in the school yard and we swam in the Finnow
But the years go by so quickly and to father time we bow
And the boys I went to school with perhaps now looking gray
And many of them from the Homeland shore like me live far away.

Many of the boys I went to school with and that's going back more than four decades in time
Are now ageing grand fathers and years beyond their prime
And those legs that could move so quickly some forty years ago
Now feeling tired and heavy and their fastest pace is slow.

The boys I went to school with have known a better day
And that time takes care of everyone it would be fair to say
Our young years went too quickly and time just flitted by
And on looking back it seems like only yesterday when I was a school boy.

Some of the boys I went to school with to the grim reaper have gone
But life back in the old Hometown as usual carries on
And in the fields near Millstreet Town where the rank rushes grow
The Finnow on towards Drishane and the Blackwater flow.

Most of the boys I went to school with I have not seen for years
But for my fading memories I don't have any tears
We played football in the school yard and in Summer swam in the Finnow
But the years go by so quickly and to father time we bow.

Ascension Ii

(Excerpt from a recent letter to a friend)

What is ascension;

Ascension to me means a move to higher consciousness in or out of the body. Those that want the status quo will be given the opportunity to remain in their immovable/unshakable mindset. Those that attain higher consciousness will have the choice to move on or stay to help enlighten those that are still asleep.

When referring to ascension regarding you, I meant that you have become wiser and better able t see that higher consciousness is your reward in this lifetime. Whether you choose to stay in your body or leave is optional.

I told Brandon this morning that our work during these difficult times is in our relationships. Reconciliation with family, friends and partnerships is what will move us toward enlightenment more quickly.

Trying to do battle with evil in the streets is counterproductive to our growth. Wickedness has a way of imploding and destroying itself.

Don't fret over Mother Earth, she's been taking care of herself for billions of years. When she's had enough she simply shakes off us fleas through cataclysm.

We need to clean up our own internal house ('Know Thyself') because this teaches us how to live in harmony with this planet and each other.

Does Anybody Out There Even Care

The dream is lost
Don't let it slip away
Or bloody days won't be far away
'Cause when there's no more sun
There's no where you can run

Does anybody know how many lives we've lost
Can anybody ever pay the cost
What will it take for us to join in peace my friends
Does anybody out there even care

Wake up world before it's too late
It's time for love to conquer hate
And when the battle's won
We all can live as one

Does anybody know how many lives we've lost
Can anybody ever pay the cost
What will it take for us to join in peace my friends
Does anybody out there even care

Who will care for the people?

Who will care for the people; lost, confused and can’t find their home
Who will care for the people; raped, striped and left without anything of their own
Who will care for the people; who once had land, cattle and a harvest to reap?
Who will care for the people; who now possess despair and fear that denies them sleep?
Who will care for the people; that served only kindness but were fed a platter of pain?
Who will care for the people; who have been inflicted with cruelty again and again?
Who will care for the people; who for generations were treated unfairly?
Who will care for the people; that are the reflection of me?
They maybe many but I will mention the one that is familiar
This can be none other than the honourable Mr. Hamilton Ratshefola
