Just Be You
When one looks at history
We can either
Learn from the past
To adapt to the present
So you can
Face tomorrow's mysteries
The age old question
We all ask
Can we better ourselves?
To better oneself
You must be brave
To better oneself
You must know love
To better oneself
You must be strong
To better oneself
You must believe
To better oneself
You must learn to share
To better oneself
Just be you
After learning all
Of life's mysteries
One must discover
To be true to
Thine own self
Just be you

To place oneself in the position of God is painful: being God is equivalent to being tortured. For being God means that one is in harmony with all that is, including the worst. The existence of the worst evils is unimaginable unless God willed them.

0017 And Where The Joy
This, then, the question
for those whom it may concern –
to find a celebration in oneself
that, as outer is, so inner;
that all truth rests within oneself –
for where else can it be found?
to love oneself – for oneself must be loveable,
or none other could be loved for true;
to know all happiness to be within;
to celebrate all this; the world a constant joy;
to find this celebration in oneself.

Self indulgences.
The one who talks much of oneself
Is doing so to conceal as much oneself.
The one who curses much oneself
Is doing so to get pity for oneself.

The Mediocre In Class Who Made Good Money
class reunions serve no purpose
other than advertising yourself at the end of the year
that you made good.
you are there not because you are interested
about the welfare of those who failed
you are there to be acknowledged
that the teachers did you wrong by not putting
you at the top on those years
you are there to prove to them that you were no nonsense
never a nincompoop,
you are going to spend a lot of money to drive your point
and you shall be at your pedestal of success
the most honest of all the teachers
who is old and retired still is not convinced about you
you were the cheat in the class
and you are still the worst cheat in the city
sometimes the cheat wins
you just proved it now.

One of the great attractions of patriotism - it fulfills our worst wishes. In the person of our nation we are able, vicariously, to bully and cheat. Bully and cheat, what's more, with a feeling that we are profoundly virtuous.

The Worst And The Best
in the hospitals and jails
it's the worst
in madhouses
it's the worst
in penthouses
it's the worst
in skid row flophouses
it's the worst
at poetry readings
at rock concerts
at benefits for the disabled
it's the worst
at funerals
at weddings
it's the worst
at parades
at skating rinks
at sexual orgies
it's the worst
at midnight
at 3 a.m.
at 5:45 p.m.
it's the worst

Better Not To Cheat
You cannot cheat conscience;
You can silence it though.
You cannot cheat the Nature;
You cannot silence it either.
You can cheat on your wife
But not beyond suspicion.
Better don’t cheat to get imbalanced.

Don't Cheat
Don't cheat it makes people sad
Don't cheat it makes people mad
Don't cheat it makes people die
Don't cheat it makes people lie
Don't cheat it makes people pi**ed
Don't cheat it makes people bit*chie
Don't cheat it makes people kill the person that cheated on them
Don't cheat it makes people get a knife and cut there self
People everyday die From getting cheated on
People hate people after it happens

One Cannot Be What One Is Not
ONCE CANNOT BE WHAT ONE IS NOT
One cannot be what one is not
Even if it is greater than oneself
Who knows why the worst creatures persist
While into the darkness
The best often go down?
I am an old singer
Of my own memories
Poems in abundance
Silence as sounds.

Animal
'This city is an animal, fierce and complicated. To understand it I read its droppings, its scents, the movements of its parasites' -Rorschach
Living in the city
one loses oneself
amongst buildings, darkness
and madness.
City of madness,
inhabited by madmen
and the madmens children
seek their escape
in fantasies of happiness
where everything is pure.
Their methods are scorned
but in their worst state
reveal the worst truth,
City of loss.

Cheat not who have faith in you;
Cheat not in whom you have faith.
At no cost should you cheat the one
After one’s death, the defenseless soul.
