One of the great attractions of patriotism - it fulfills our worst wishes. In the person of our nation we are able, vicariously, to bully and cheat. Bully and cheat, what's more, with a feeling that we are profoundly virtuous.

When I Was A Child A Bully Would Challenge Me
When I was a child a bully would challenge me. He was bigger. I would run away. Over and over this went on. One morning I woke up from a dream in which I seem the bully punch some one I love over a fence. I was furious that morning. That morning the bully said something about my sister. Later that day we met at the park to fight. It was all set we would fight. It seemed as if every child from the school was there. I did not care. All that I seen, felt, all that ran through my mind was him punching my sister over the fence. The bully looked so surprised when I stepped into him and punched him right in the face. He started crying. When he got back to his feet the crowd of children were cheering. One of the older children ran in. He would not let him continue, blood poured from the bully's face. The older child might have sensed that I really would have changed the bully's life even more profoundly.

You can cheat the king;
You can cheat the public;
You can cheat your spouse.
You cannot cheat the nature.

I'm Not A Bully
sometimes i say harsh-full things
and don't give a damn about
broken hearts, broken spirit shattering
to shards....
My bare knuckle may just collide
with their lips...but its only few blood that drip.
I may even be a telltale but
isn't it for their best?
I am not not bully though.
it is just apart of the bog circle of life-
'the weak will never prosperous'
it is okay to cry and sleep
I am not a bully.
I took no one's life and watch them die...
even though i may think it.
I'm not a bully

Neighborhood Bully
Well, the neighborhood bully, hes just one man,
His enemies say hes on their land.
They got him outnumbered about a million to one,
He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
Hes criticized and condemned for being alive.
Hes not supposed to fight back, hes supposed to have thick skin,
Hes supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
Hes wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
Hes always on trial for just being born.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That hell live by the rules that the world makes for him,
cause theres a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he dont get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he wont be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Well, hes surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldnt hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Every empire thats enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and rome, even the great babylon.
Hes made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no ones command.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
Whats anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin, they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
Hes the neighborhood bully.
What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
Neighborhood bully.

Me and Them
Why me, why them,
Why them, why me.
Just answer my question eh!
Bully me, bully them,
Bully them, bully me.
Maybe a her,
Maybe a he.
Peace for me, peace for them,
Peace for them, peace for me,
There's someone out there.
For everybody.

Better Not To Cheat
You cannot cheat conscience;
You can silence it though.
You cannot cheat the Nature;
You cannot silence it either.
You can cheat on your wife
But not beyond suspicion.
Better don’t cheat to get imbalanced.

The teaching of politics is that the Government, which was set for protection and comfort of all good citizens, becomes the principal obstruction and nuisance with which we have to contend. The cheat and bully and malefactor we meet everywhere is the Government.

Lets think of a game to play
Lets think of a game to play
Now the grownups have all gone away.
Now the grownups have all gone away.
You wont be much fun
You wont be much fun
Being blind deaf and dumb
Being blind deaf and dumb
But Ive no one to play with today.
But Ive no one to play with today.
Dyou know how to play hide and seek?
Dyou know how to play hide and seek?
To find me it would take you a week,
To find me it would take you a week,
But tied to that chair you wont go anywhere
But tied to that chair you wont go anywhere
Theres a lot I can do to a freak.
Theres a lot I can do to a freak.
How would you feel if I turned on the bath,
How would you feel if I turned on the bath,
Ducked your head under and started to laugh.
Ducked your head under and started to laugh.
What would you do if I shut you outside,
What would you do if I shut you outside,
To stand in the rain
To stand in the rain
And catch cold so you died?
And catch cold so you died?
Im the school bully !
Im the school bully !
The classroom cheat.
The classroom cheat.
The nastiest playfriend,
The nastiest playfriend,
You ever could meet.
You ever could meet.
Ill stick pins in your fingers
Ill stick pins in your fingers
And tread on your feet...
And tread on your feet...
Maybe a cigarette burn on your arm
Maybe a cigarette burn on your arm
Would change your expression to one of alarm,
Would change your expression to one of alarm,
Ill drag you around by a lock of your hair
Ill drag you around by a lock of your hair
Or give you a push at the top of the stairs...
Or give you a push at the top of the stairs...
Im the school bully !
Im the school bully !
The classroom cheat.
The classroom cheat.
The nastiest playfriend,
The nastiest playfriend,
You ever could meet.
You ever could meet.
Ill put glass in your dinner
Ill put glass in your dinner
And spikes in your seat...
And spikes in your seat...

Bullies On Vacation
A bully enjoying his vacation
Oblivious to all our confrontations
Speaking fondly of his junior years
When I was fighting tears
A bully enjoying his vacation
I can taste the anger and the hate
I have come to set the record straight
Twenty years seems long enough to wait
A bully enjoying his vacation
Cruising with my nemesis on high seas
Five drinks, he doesnt recognize me
Full of anticipation
I dont notice his depression
Cruising with my nemesis on high seas
My act of concern is just to tease
Im about to send him to his knees
So close to force him begging please
He mentions terminal disease
A bully enjoying his vacation
And how he feels someone is dangling
His vile existence on a string
And now the sea hes conquering
Knows he can conquer anything
A bully enjoying his vacation
Aware of his terminal condition
Frustrated by my indecision
Knowing Id regret this very day
I hit him anyway
Aware of his terminal condition
Once again, he got the best of me
I left him conquering the sea
A bully enjoying his vacation

The Mediocre In Class Who Made Good Money
class reunions serve no purpose
other than advertising yourself at the end of the year
that you made good.
you are there not because you are interested
about the welfare of those who failed
you are there to be acknowledged
that the teachers did you wrong by not putting
you at the top on those years
you are there to prove to them that you were no nonsense
never a nincompoop,
you are going to spend a lot of money to drive your point
and you shall be at your pedestal of success
the most honest of all the teachers
who is old and retired still is not convinced about you
you were the cheat in the class
and you are still the worst cheat in the city
sometimes the cheat wins
you just proved it now.

Once upon a time when I was in primary two,
Mother had a daughter who attended our class too.
She fell in love with a bully,
And I said she's so silly.
One day bully and me fought and fell in a chicken coop.

Undeserving
The grave’s been filled, the last wreaths laid
The last farewells have all been made
In quietude the mourners leave.
and I am left alone to grieve.
Though I behaved respectfully
as people would expect from me.
It was for show, it was not true
I’m happy to be rid of you.
You were a bully and a beast
I did not love you in the least
You made my life a misery
when there was no one to see.
There was no physical abuse
for blows are sure to leave a bruise
I was my self respect you hurt
you treated my like so much dirt
I was not allowed to go out
though you were free to gad about.
You judged my wishes by your own
you did not trust me out alone
When we went out in company
you kept a jealous eye on me.
You thought that I would cheat on you.
Something that I would never do.
My marriage vows I always kept
a truth that you could not accept.
Now kindly death has set me free
I will not miss your jealousy.
Although I loved you when we wed.
The hidden truth can now be said.
You weren’t the man I thought you were
you miserable philanderer.
The wasted years that I regret
will not be easy to forget.
Though you are ancient history
I can forget you easily.
The man that other people saw
was just the public mask you wore.
But I saw what lay underneath
a brute a bully and a thief.
I shan’t be coming here again
For I have nothing more to gain
To tell the truth I’m satisfied
to know I live but you have died.
The words “until death do us part”
are graven deeply on my heart.
Death parted us and I am glad
I have no reason to be sad.
Now you are dead beyond recall
I will not grieve for you at all.
I will give thanks for my relief
you don’t deserve my honest grief.

My Bullying Days
I bully people all day long,
And each time I do so,
I sing a joyful song.
I always feel good
Whenever I beat the crap out of some guy.
It frequently makes them feel
That they want to die.
So, that pretty much concludes
My very, very, very short poem...
But what makes me be at my happiest
Is when I bully my mummy at home.

The Bully and Me
He was the neighborhood Nuisance
Each morning we heard his loud mouth
When he spoke he caused a disturbance
And he threw all his cigarettes about.
Actually he was just a nasty bully
Who suffered from very poor self-esteem
He speaks in that loud voice if only
To pretend he's much better, so it seems.
In that place where I worked was a cat
She would dropp by each morning for me
She would brush my leg and purr so that
I would bless her with food, hopefully.
One day this nasty bully took a slingshot
And hid behind our trellis fence to aim
At the innocent cat who lay on her mat
With the purpose of killing the same.
He fired one stone, hit the cat on the head
And in shock I went out to confront him
Heartbroken in tears, thought my cat was dead
Because of my anger, my mind grew dim.
At my height of five feet and two inches
I was a dwarf in the face of that bully
But I pushed him down the thorn bushes -
Well the guy was really afraid of me!
All of a sudden the cat got up and ran
Escaped through the fence by one leap
Never saw her again for a month
Missing her, I lost some good sleep.
Then one day I heard her familiar meow
And what joy - she came to the house!
Took her home with me and for all I know
That bully had turned into a silly mouse.
So now I have my cat and named her 'Muning'.

Careers
Father is quite the greatest poet
That ever lived anywhere.
You say you’re going to write great music—
I chose that first: it’s unfair.
Besides, now I can’t be the greatest painter and
do Christ and angels, or lovely pears
and apples and grapes on a green dish,
or storms at sea, or anything lovely,
Because that’s been taken by Claire.
It’s stupid to be an engine-driver,
And soldiers are horrible men.
I won’t be a tailor, I won’t be a sailor,
And gardener’s taken by Ben.
It’s unfair if you say that you’ll write great
music, you horrid, you unkind (I sim-
ply loathe you, though you are my
sister), you beast, cad, coward, cheat,
bully, liar!
Well? Say what’s left for me then!
But we won’t go to your ugly music.
(Listen!) Ben will garden and dig,
And Claire will finish her wondrous pictures
All flaming and splendid and big.
And I’ll be a perfectly marvellous carpenter,
and I’ll make cupboards and benches
and tables and ... and baths, and
nice wooden boxes for studs and
money,
And you’ll be jealous, you pig!
