A further point is that, little by little, in the current universe, everything is slowly being named; nor does this have anything to do with the older Aristotelian universals in which the idea of a chair subsumes all its individual manifestations.

I have a cousin named....

I have a cousin named tru,
Who is always more excited than you,
He jumps an dhe bounces,
in so many houses,

I have a cousin named tru,
Who might belong in a zoo,
He moos and he poos,
while on the news.

I have a cousin named tru,
Who will try o say boo,
when you come out the lou.

I have a cousin named tru,
Who probably won't say goo,
Because he's ay older than two,
Whose name is not sue.

I cousin named tru...
I love you tru!

Poets of The Electron Dream

There is a single factum
for the current century
which has
All Meaning
for Poetry.

The Physicists
have
since the 1920's
told us that electrons
can be in two different places
simultaneously.

The Principle of Uncertainty.

They have finally caught up with
Poets who
have long
argued that
Poetry comes
through
many times
from somewhere else;

other channels
sometimes unknown to
the Poet who
often hurries
to write down
new poems
originating
from venues
which seem to burst through
to consciousness;
Whole Cloth
and fully formed.

Commonplace
yet it has never
been explained:
how this could be?

But now
we all
have to take seriously

that not only electrons
can be here and there
simultaneously,

but perhaps too
so can I and you.

Taking this idea seriously
is to understand
that an Idea
in the human mind
has electrons too
and that any idea
may have in fact
come not only from you
but also from that other you
that is not in the room
that may in fact simultaneously
exist
in parallel
somewhere else
leading a slightly different
life Poetically.

A second point made
in Physics labs
is that electrons
everywhere
pop in and out of existence
instantly;
constantly.
But where do they go when they go
and from where are they coming back from?

Finally, there is physical proof that
Electron A with a positive charge,
if changed to a negative one, will
cause its match
all the way across the universe
to revert its charge to positive.

All matter
therefore is
in constant contact
across all of the Universe
at the same time.

This is the 'Theory of Inflation'

Actually not a theory mind you.
At this point a proven fact.

Poets have long argued
'The Connectedness of All Things'
Now it seems
the Physicists
are agreeing;

boggled minds
in the laboratory
are now
sounding like
Poets of the Electron Dream.

Either Physicists are now Poets
or Poets created Physicists.

Father Of A Boy Named Sue

(Okay now years ago I wrote a song called A Boy Named Sue and that was okay
And everything except then I started to think about it and I thought
It is unfair I am looking at the whole thing from the poor kid's point of view
And as I get more older and more fatherly
I begin to look at things from an old man's point of view
So I decided to give the old man equal time okay here we go)

Yeah I lef' home when the kid was three and it sure felt good to be fancy free
Tho I knew it wasn't quite the fatherly thing to do
But that kid kept screamin' and throwin' up and pissin' in his pants til I had enough
So just for revenge I went and named him Sue
Yeah it was Gatlinberg in mid July I was gettin' drunk but gettin' by
Gettin' old and goin' from bad to worse
When thru the door with an awful scream comes the ugliest queen I've ever seen
He says my name is Sue how do you do then he hits me with his purse

Now this ain't the way he tells the tale but he scratched my face with his fingernails
And then he bit my thumb and kicked me with his high-heeled shoe
So I hit him in the nose and he started to cry and he threw some perfume in my eye
And it sure ain't easy fightin' with a boy named Sue

So I hit him in the head with a caned-back chair
And he screamed hey dad you mussed my hair
And he hit me in the navel and knocked out a piece of my lint
He was spittin' blood I was spittin' teeth
And we crashed through the wall and out into the street
A kickin and gougin' in the mud and the blood and the creme de menth

Then out of his garter he pulls a gun I'm about to get shot by my very own son
He's screamin' bout Sigmond Freud and lookin' grim uh
So I thought fast and I told him some stuff
How I named him Sue just to make him tough
And I guess he bought it cuz now I'm livin' with him
Yeah he cooks and sews and cleans up the place he cuts my hair and shaves my face
And irons my shirts better than a daughter could do
And on the nights that I can't score well I can't tell you anymore
Sure is a joy to have a boy named Sue yeah a son is fun
But it's a joy to have a boy named Sue

Boiling Point

Boiling Point
What no shame
Broken Dreams
What no shame
I have come for you
Since I was to die
Boil to unknown sights
Make believe broken dreams
Broken dreams
Boiling point
Point of no return
Fears and dreams disguise
Lifes noose
Can I
Face the chair (electric chair I assume)
Face the chair
Face the chair
Boiling point
Falling to darkness
Where the sky turns red
Turns into stark features
Letting you wish you would live
You wish you would live
What no shame
Boiling point
Broken dreams
What no shame

OLDER WOMEN...by Talile Ali

NOW THAT IM OLDER
ALL I HAVE TO SAY
MY VIEW OF WOMEN'S MORPHED
IN SUCH BEAUTIFUL WAYS

OLDER CHICKS ARE LOOKING HOTTER
DOUBLE THE PLEASURE AT HALF THE SPEED

OH YES
OLDER WOMEN ARE BEST
OH YES
NORTH SOUTH EAST AND WEST

I AINT ASHAMED HERE
BABY, KNOW MY DESIGNS
I WANT ME AN OLDER WOMAN
EACH AND EVERY TIME

DOESN'T MATTER HOW OLD
SO LONG AS SHE'S FIT AND HOT
AND GOT A RACK THAT WON'T QUIT
AND BOUNCES A WHOLE LOT

MAYBE LAST BUT NOT LEAST
WHEN SHE DOES ME SHE'S A BEAST
OLDER WOMEN ARE FUN
WITH THEM YOU HAVE A FEAST

DEEP IN THEIR EYE'S
A UNIVERSE REALIZED
KNOWLEDGE BACKING THAT MUSCLE
BETWEEN THOSE INCREDIBLE THIGHS

So far as modern science is concerned, we have to abandon completely the idea that by going into the realm of the small we shall reach the ultimate foundations of the universe. I believe we can abandon this idea without any regret. The universe is infinite in all directions, not only above us in the large but also below us in the small.

By a peculiar prerogative, not only each individual is making daily advances in the sciences, and may makes advances in morality, but all mankind together are making a continual progress in proportion as the universe grows older; so that the whole human race, during the course of so many ages, may be considered as one man, who never ceases to live and learn.

A Song Of Spring

The Spring comes slowly up this way,
Slowly, slowly,
Under a snood of hodden grey.

The black and white for her array,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

Where is her green that was so gay?
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

Unto a world too sick for May,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

Where are the lads that used to play?
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

She has no heart for holiday,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

The trees are out in Heaven they say.
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up our way.

Revetted In Disbelief

From a serious point of view,
Who do you think would best represent...
The mood of the people and their concerns.
And remember...
This is your chance to influence those,
Who are not aware...
Of the firm grasp you have on their problems.
And the intentions you will undertake,
To appoint those most qualified.

'Well...
I do know this,
People have grown tired of current policies.
First I would appoint,
Uh...gee...I just had the name on the tip of my tongue.
HECKEL. That's it.'

Interesting.
And your next two candidates would be?

'I had no idea these debates were this pressuring.
My second nominee would be...
Uh,
You know what's odd?
Last night I was just reviewing their credentials too.
How embarrassing.
Oh!
Jekyll and Hyde.'

I see.
And a...
Would you have happened to be watching TV,
When assessing the landscape of concerns?

'Assessing the 'who' of the 'what?
That TV was going on in the background.
But I am a very focused and dedicated individual.
With a plan I have customized for today's needs.
The people will soon know the true me.'

Thank you for your response.
Now your views on the economy.
You have the audience revetted in disbelief.
Leaving some too overwhelmed to breathe.
You are definitely on a roll.

'Thank you.
All of my suits are tailored.
From the best material money can buy.'

Cogitation

if this chair does not exist
will i, this, chair, me, who asks,
if this chair, exists at all,
can i, exist, too? will i be dependent
on the thought of a chair
a thought of me that i think i
can touch, that i think thoughts
touching this thought of a chair
does the chair think about me,
i ask, looking for that therefore
beside the chair that i thought
is a chair, that i thought is I,
am, therefore, a chair, thinking
chair, on four feet?

Against Current

I like to move against current
I want to play more around
I don’t like to just follow order
I like to place myself against current
I want to challenge how far I could go on
I don’t like to be lead without having any power
I like to be against current
I want to see the faces who passing me by
Even I should turn so far, even I should wait a little more time
I want to be free to do what I want, to follow my heart’s tell
Maybe I’m not always against current
Maybe it’s good and the right one
But I will never know what’s outside the flow
If I only let myself swept by current

Back Into The Universe

This is your God repeat
As we wander back into the universe
We render ourselves into a higher plane
Believing we will never wonder why again
He surely must be laughing mr universe
Seeing us slowly head towards our goal
Only the joke is we dont know what it is at all
Yet our gods teach us divinity
And we go on searching for you and me
As for the universe
This is your god
The orders truly random in the universe
And where will we be in a thousand years
Soothingly searching to allay our fears
Well now weve wandered backwards to eternity
Were changing the concept of belief in time
Re arranging the clock that dictates our minds
Yet our gods teach us divinity
And we go on searching for you and me
As for the universe
This is your god
As for the universe
This is your god
This is your god

An Idea

An Idea can change the world, how many
things can be done from an idea, every piece
of object was an idea, sense the beginning of
time idea was the first thought created in the
mind, an idea is what surround’s every being.
But an idea is still only an idea and it can't be
felt, you cannot touch an idea or kiss it, or hold it,
ideas do not bleed or feel pain or love, an idea
cannot be seen or heard, its created in our thoughts,
but then again an idea can become real. An idea
can be what ever you which it to be, an idea can
be destructive, an idea can be brilliant, I've seen
people get killed in the name of ideas, ideas,
we walk around with a little
light bulb blinking in our thoughts, ideas.
