The greatest of all faults is to be conscious of none. Recognizing our limitations and imperfections is the first requisite of progress. Those who believe they have arrived believe they have nowhere to go. Some not only have closed their minds to new truth, but they sit on the lid.

Endeavor to be always patient of the faults and imperfections of others for thou has many faults and imperfections of thine own that require forbearance. If thou are not able to make thyself that which thou wishest, how canst thou expect to mold another in conformity to thy will?

Thrown to Hit
The truth has frightened.
None knew it would be like this.
They believed truth could be dismissed.
Like a white lie told from lips.
But truth is unresisting.
It hits like a ton of bricks.
And could care less,
Who denies its existence.
And those living without it...
Now find their lives in a mess.
The hour of truth has arrived.
And recognizing it,
Catches many by surprise.
Why?
Because so many believed,
It was something they could create.
Like a lie told that is given life.
But there is nothing artificial about truth.
It will always remain solid like a rock.
And when it is thrown to hit...
It hurts!
Getting over it...
Is not as easy as getting up off the ground!
Once it lands,
Truth has a tendency to stay around.

Imperfections, Imperfection
Imperfections
Imperfection
Separating us all from
Perfection
Imperfections
Imperf ection
I'll never be perfect
Neither will you
Imperfections
Imperfection
You can't change everything
About the way you look
Imperfections
Imperfection
You can't change everything
About your personality
Imperfections
Imperfection
But, you can work on those things
Change little things
Instead of worrying about all the things
Imperfections
Imperfection
Never completely gone
It's what makes us human

Ode
I. VENGEANCE will sit above our faults ; but till
She there do sit,
We see her not, nor them. Thus blind, yet still
We lead her way ; and thus, whilst we do ill,
We suffer it.
2. Unhappy he whom youth makes not beware
Of doing ill.
Enough we labour under age, and care ;
In number, th' errors of the last place are
The greatest still.
3. Yet we, that should the ill we now begin
As soon repent,
Strange thing ! perceive not ; our faults are not seen,
But past us ; neither felt, but only in
The punishment.
4. But we know ourselves least ; mere outward shows
Our minds so store,
That our souls no more than our eyes disclose
But form and colour. Only he who knows
Himself, knows more.

While Advocating to Establish This
Those taught to attack,
The progress of their own kind...
Aren't conscious enough to know,
They are out of their minds.
And addicted to inflict upon themselves,
Their own grief.
To validate this as a confirmation!
While advocating to establish this,
As the foundation of one's belief!

Truth Frees
Truth frees!
Like a struggle from a cocoon,
To be butterflied!
To soar with beauty,
In Sun drenched skies.
Truth frees!
And that is seen from once closed eyes.
Freed from a consciousness known to exist,
In limitations condoned...
To magnetize those heartaches.
With fears and pains,
Shared to groan and felt to moan.
Truth frees!
A mind disconnected,
From disrespect and neglect.
To reflect upon rejection,
As tests to produce one's best.
With a satisfaction,
That brings one a peace of mind...
Now one can confess,
Brings one more rest.
Truth frees those who can accept,
Those lessons learned.
And on them can self examine,
A success that has progressed...
From low depths to heights now flown!
Truth frees,
A happiness trapped...
In doubts now lived,
Without comparing sorrows.
As if this is a gift to give!
'Are you a christian, democrat?
Independent or conservative?
Are you liberal or right wing?
Are you a socialist, capitalist...
Or a nonconformist?
With misfit mutterings?
Are you a nationalist,
With a patriotic point of view?
Are you racially inclined?
Exactly...
What are you? '
Truth frees!
Like a struggle from a cocoon,
To be butterflied!
To soar with beauty,
In Sun drenched skies.
Truth frees!
And that is seen from once closed eyes.
Freed from a consciousness known to exist,
In limitations condoned...
To magnetize those heartaches.
With fears and pains,
Shared to groan and felt to moan.
Truth frees!
'I see!
You're just another irrational radical.
Attempting to bring attention to yourself.'
Truth frees!

Prologue To The University Of Oxford, 1674.
Poets, your subjects have their parts assign'd
To unbend, and to divert their sovereign's mind:
When tired with following nature, you think fit
To seek repose in the cool shades of wit,
And, from the sweet retreat, with joy survey
What rests, and what is conquer'd, of the way.
Here, free yourselves from envy, care, and strife
You view the various turns of human life:
Safe in our scene, through dangerous courts you go,
And, undebauch'd, the vice of cities know
Your theories are here to practice brought,
As in mechanic operations wrought;
And man, the little world, before you set,
As once the sphere[49] of crystal show'd the great.
Blest, sure, are you above all mortal kind,
If to your fortunes you can suit your mind:
Content to see, and shun, those ills we show,
And crimes on theatres alone to know.
With joy we bring what our dead authors writ,
And beg from you the value of their wit:
That Shakspeare's, Fletcher's, and great Jonson's claim,
May be renew'd from those who gave them fame.
None of our living poets dare appear;
For Muses so severe are worshipp'd here,
That, conscious of their faults, they shun the eye,
And, as profane, from sacred places fly,
Rather than see the offended God, and die.
We bring no imperfections but our own;
Such faults as made are by the makers shown:
And you have been so kind, that we may boast,
The greatest judges still can pardon most.
Poets must stoop, when they would please our pit,
Debased even to the level of their wit;
Disdaining that, which yet they know will take,
Hating themselves what their applause must make.
But when to praise from you they would aspire,
Though they like eagles mount, your Jove is higher.
So far your knowledge all their power transcends,
As what _should be_ beyond what _is_ extends.

It Is Not
Conscious of structure.
Conscious of order, law and discipline.
Conscious of those to whom is given respect.
Conscious of tradition and ideals...
And the effect this has on one's mindset.
Conscious of a faith that goes much deeper,
Than the faking of an acceptance of rituals.
Conscious of life,
And the limits of it lived.
Conscious are those,
Who are aware that this life...
Is much more than it is perceived,
It is!
Since it is not what we have been led to believe.
And a consciousness of those conscious of this,
Is what has been received.

Betty
Oh Betty
You know I loved you so
I'm shattered
It hurt so much to see you go
Give me your heart, I'll keep it beating
And your blood will spill no more
Oh I want to love you Betty
But I can't
'Cause you closed the greatest of doors
Oh Betty
Don't tell heaven where you've been
Don't you know that needing love is not a sin
Give me your soul, I'll be it's keeper
And the words I speak will be yours
Oh I try to hate you Betty
But I can't
'Cause you closed the greatest of doors
And the leaves are starting to fall from the trees again
And I remember when
And autumn wind sang a song of a sin
But I wasn't ready
Oh Betty
Oh Betty
Don't tell heaven where you've been
Didn't you know that needing love is not a sin
Give me your heart, I'll keep it beating
And your blood will spill no more
Oh I want to love you Betty
But I can't
'Cause you closed the greatest of doors
You closed the greatest of doors

Reflected Perception of Satisfactions
Life is much more,
Than the limitations given.
And those who chose not to see life that way?
It is okay to leave them convinced...
They are a reflected perception of satisfactions,
Sometimes there to please.
And most times delivering to them blemishes,
Found to compare an awareness of flaws!
They wish to correct...
With further imperfections!

The Imperfections Of Me
I'm an unfinished product
A work that's in progress
Though I no longer call myself young
I'm flawed and I'm broken
I'm a promise unspoken
and a song that may never be sung
Though I'm dumb and I'm blind
I'll not be definded
By what I dont hear or can't see
I gladly will take
each days small mistake
and love the imperfections of me
I've spurned some romances
missed risks, ignored chances
I've letters that will never be sent.
There are regrets and there's sorrow
and perhaps my tomorrow
may be another day that I've mispent.
I'll not know perfection,
but my misquided inflection
will not mar my lifes destiny.
Call me broken and hollow
but the path I will follow
helps me accept the imperfections of me.
The worlds litmus test
that demands but your best
is not for a wandering heart
I'm distracted, its true,
by warm winds...skies of blue
that sets this daydreamer apart.
My oft broken stride
leaves broken dreams on each side
But I'll be who I'm meant to be.
Since nothing is owed
on my strange crooked road
I embrace the imperfections of me

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Maxim 82
Two men died, bearing away their grief. One had possessed wealth and not enjoyed it, the other knowledge and not practised it.
No one sees an excellent but avaricious man
Without publishing his defect
But if a liberal man has a hundred faults
His generosity covers his imperfections.
Life Defining
Life is not defined by set limitations
for life defies all prior set limitations
I see all beings as evolving
from God within God
moving ever closer
passing ever further
plant-life to mineral
microbe to mollusk
muskrat to monkey
tad-pole to personage
moving ever closer
passing ever further
until the self fulfilled finale of eternity
open ended arrival of divine destiny
(surely the time has come
never has it passed
always has it been
Here and Now
immediate intimacy of the moment)
watering seeds
pruning weeds
upturning stones
nurturing conscious fruit
harvesting human truth
I see evolution being perhaps
no more than the process by which
consciousness regains its identity
from animal to amaranth
earth-garden where angels
groom and earn their wings
