The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit.

Toughen Up
(t. britten/g. lyle)
Hes the kind that takes the line of least resistance
In this situation cupid needs assistance
I can tell you this in confidence
You should learn a little self-defense
Toughen up
You better believe it
Toughen up
Youre gonna need to
Toughen up
Dont let him get the best of you
Toughen up, yeah
What youre looking for is only wishful thinking
Word is out all over town whose bell hes ringing
Wont you take a little good advice
Youre better hiding what you feel inside
Toughen up
You better believe it
Toughen up
Youre gonna need to
Toughen up
Dont let him get the best of you
Toughen up, yeah
Dont let him tell you what to do
To get him running after you
Pretend you dont care about the guy
Never let him see you cry
If you love him take a tip from me
Its a sensible philosophy
Toughen up
Enough is enough
Toughen up
Show him youre hot stuff
Toughen up
Dont let him get one over you
Toughen up, yeah
Toughen up
You better believe it
Toughen up
Youre gonna need to
Toughen up
Dont let him get the best of you
Toughen up, yeah
Toughen up
Enough is enough
Toughen up
Show him youre hot stuff
Toughen up

Gimme Some Slack
I wanna shake like liguardia
Magic mouth in the sun
Train ride to the courtyard
Before you can run
Down at the end of lonely street
Where no one takes a walk
Someone lyin at your feet
And someones gettin off
Just gimme some slack, yeah
Just gimme some slack
Just gimme, slack
Thats all I want is slack
The seven floors of walkup
The odor musted cracks
And the peeping keyhole introverts
With the monkeys on their backs
And the rooftops strung with frauleins
The pastel pinned up sails
The eighteen color roses
Against your face so pale
A just gimme some slack, thats right
Uh gimme some slack
Gimme, slack, oo yeah
All I want is slack
I wanna float like euripides
All visions intact
Im alright with fellini fiends
A trippin over the track
Down at the end of l-onely street
Where no one takes a chance
Someones in the cheap light
Someone wants to dance
Just gimme some slack, thats right
All I want is slack
Oh, gimme, slack
All I want is slack
Gimme, slack
Slack
Slack
Sssslack
Slack
[unintelligible]slack

I'm playing a very strong character, it's the story of the woman Polish Jews out of the Warsaw ghetto. I've just begun my weapons training and the SAS type training that's getting me fit.

Training For Christ
It is good to be physically fit, but what about our soul and spirit?
For it’s a man’s spirit and soul, which makes him spiritually whole.
Physical fitness now my friend, has no spiritual benefit in the end,
But it’s the training in godliness, which leads us to spiritual fitness.
All us who belong to God’s Son, need to train for the life to come,
Through the Spirit of Jesus Christ, for the present and a future life,
Our manual is the Word of God, as we labor upon this earthly sod,
With eternity as our final goal, we need training for our eternal soul.
Exercises for our heart and mind, with a training of a different kind,
And memory is the place to start, as we hide The Word in our heart.
This won’t strength us physically, but prepare our souls for eternity,
And as God’s Truth we do recall, we’re lifted up as we begin to fall.
This training by The Spirit inside, helps believers in Christ, to abide,
As The Lord transforms our mind, leaving old worldly ways behind.
This as we exercise our new life, living for The Savior, Jesus Christ,
And when we’re lifted from that fall, it’s in Christ, we then stand tall.
This training is second to none, as men train for God’s Eternal Son,
Who begins training in all men, who in Christ have been Born Again,
Training which shall continue until, Christ completes His Father’s will,
Then all who trained on the earth, will receive reward of eternal worth.

Training gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body.

Hangmans Knee
(hopkins, beck, newman, stewart, wood)
Hangman, hangman, slack your noose
Slack it, oh slack it
Slack it for a while
There aint no use in your hurrying me
Aint nothing gonna change things now
Now I aint trying to prove your judge is wrong
And your jury, oh your jury
I guess Ill know the way out
And if you kill me with my canvas shirt
Good god, you could put my lawyer in jail
Listen
Its just this twenty two minutes to prepare yourself
I havent been in this position before
Wash your hands, get your .? .
Find the waistcoat, lock the door.
And oh!
Get your .? .
Oh yeah, get your .? . lock the door
Come on
Listen to this one
Oh hangman, hangman, slack your noose
Oh slack it, please slack it
Oh just slack it awhile, give me one more chance
There aint no use in you hurryin me
Good god, nothings gonna stop me now
Oh
Dont you worry
Cause you never get your .? .
Well, might get your waistcoat on
Ha-ha
Heh-heh

Obviously, the difference between a game and actual training is you're using your whole body, so in that sense, maybe not, although maybe something to do with reaction, the speed of reaction, maybe that was of use during the training.

I personally developed the Academy training program. All our training is based on solid educational principles. We present the material in four training formats: lecture, demonstration, drill, and implementation.
Or if I have my head in the results, I can't work with what I have, because I'm trying to force something to happen. And with singing, any time you force it, you tighten up. If you tighten up, you're screwed, nothing will work.

Somebody Has To
Somebody has to go polish the stars,
They're looking a little bit dull.
Somebody has to go polish the stars,
For the eagles and starlings and gulls
Have all been complaining they're tarnished and worn,
They say they want new ones we cannot afford.
So please get your rags
And your polishing jars,
Somebody has to go polish the stars.

Try Again
Spoken:
Ah year, alright y'all, ah
You know the game
Verse 1:
I know sometimes I
Seem a little crazy
But I'm not too crazy in love
See I'm not a trick
I can take it or leave it
You can be about it
Cause I can do without it
B Sec:
For some reason
You take your life for granted
Like it's a game and
You'll always win
The things you say
And the things you do
You act like it won't come to an end
You need to realize
Chorus (2x):
Easily you can be left alone
Tighten it up, you better
Before you find yourself by yourself
Verse 2:
Some people say that
I'm nothing but a player
Don't play when it comes to my heart (laid back)
Don't be so cruel when you know everything is cool (cool)
You can be about it
Cause I can do without it
Rap:
I let you slide once
I let your slide twice
Third time baby doll
It won't be so nice
You looking hot 'doe
But you can't play Ron DeVoe
The laid back mack
With mad flow
So, here we go
I got a hottie
With a mad body
Don't chu know
In the 5-0-0
On the way to the cribo
So, how you live?
I had to ask my man Biv
Uhm hmm
Looking kind of positive
Chorus (3x):
Easily you can be left alone
Tighten it up, you better
Before you find yourself by yourself
Bridge:
For some reason you take you life for granted
Like it's a game
And you'll always win
The things you say
And the things you do
You act like it won't come to an end
But you need to realize
Chorus (4x):
Easily you can be left alone
Tighten it up, you better
Before you find yourself by yourself

Is this the part

Life
I was lying on my bed, about to loose myself in the world of dreams, but couldn't. I started to wonder the meaning of universe, the exact meaning of life. I thought for about an hour, why I am alive? Why everyone's living their life? I came to a conclusion, what if this life is just a training course, and if you fail in one life to complete the training, you live another physical life. The point is to recognize that every thing you do, and that every action you take, is an action of the mind, not your true spirit. To try to 'train your spirit' is the main motto you'r alive. Emotions, love, hate, sadness are actions of the spirit not destiny. The unexplained questions in life, are actions of the spirit. Time is an illusion, created by the minds. Before this life, there were other challenges, and after this one, there will be more, and then we will face the ultimate prize, heaven. But not as we see it. It would be a domain where there is no one to hate, and everyone would love and respect each other. There would be no time to kill, because the illusion of time would be gone. We would witness unlimited new emotions, and it would be the most wonderful thing ever! So thats what I thought, lying in my bed, looking at the ceiling.

Perhaps it is not true to speak of God as a judge at all, or of his judgements. There does not seem to be really any evidence that His worlds are places of trial but rather schools, places of training, or that He is a judge but rather a Teacher, a Trainer, not in the imperfect sense in which men are teachers, but in the sense of His contriving and adapting His whole universe for one purpose of training every intelligent being to be perfect. … I think God would not be the Almighty, the All-Wise, the All-Good, if he were the judge, in the sense that the evangelical and Roman Catholic Christians impute judgement to him. … Our business is, I think, to understand, not to judge. What He does is, as far as we know, to rule by law down to the most infinitesimally small portion of His universe, not to judge.

Ringmasters Word
I have a purpose...
Take your dill knife, stab me, go, strike my heart...(ha ha, ha ha...ha ha, ha ha )
I have a purpose...
Such things cant exist...
I have a purpose...
You will tell them of me and how one day I shall come for them...
I have a purpose...
Quietly, I will come over your bed,
I will lean over and gently bite your neck...
Ringmaster...
I have a purpose...
You will tell them of me and how one day I shall come for them

The Church is everywhere represented as one. It is one body, one family, one fold, one kingdom. It is one because pervaded by one Spirit. We are all baptized into one Spirit so as to become, says the apostle, on body.
