Love is conditioned
Love for one is in proportion
To the influence you wield.
Concern for one is in proportion
To the identity you have.
Respect for one is in proportion
To the trust you have.
Don’t expect more than the due.

Telescope
i think i lost some years, sometimes i don't know how
i forget to remember now
you used to tell me things that you were thinking
now we don't even talk, that's what i'm thinking
let's have a day outside for the lonely
they're gonna cry tonight
i've got some stuff in a box, maybe i'll show you sometime
but the box would think that was unwise
some days the view from here, it means nothing
i woke up with the fear again this morning
let's have a day outside in the sun
play around and have a lot of fun
we've got some telescopes in our hands
just try to keep them pointed at the land
let's have a day outside tonight
i've been distracted from the things that i wanna do
i've been distracted from the way i wanna be for you

The poorer is a family, the greater is the proportion of the total outgo which must be used for food... The proportion of the outgo used for food, other things being equal, is the best measure of the material standard of living of a population.

The outward freedom that we shall attain will only be in exact proportion to the inward freedom to which we may have grown at a given moment. And if this is a correct view of freedom, our chief energy must be concentrated on achieving reform from within.

Don't Want To Be Hindered
It was better when I wasn't your poppa,
Or that old man you would see.
It would be better if we didn't lay naked...
And enjoy our company!
But,
I don't want to be hindered...
About my abilities.
And,
I might need just a little time...
To strike up a little bit of heat!
I like the turning up the heat too.
I like the doing what it is we do.
I like the feeling of the tender touches.
And I like it slow before I stir it up,
But...
I don't want to be hindered,
About my abilities.
And,
I might need just a little time...
To strike up a little bit of heat!
It was better when I wasn't your poppa,
Or that old man you would see.
It would be better if we didn't lay naked...
And enjoy our company!

I don't want to be hindered...
About my abilities.

I like the doing what it is we do.

I don't want to be hindered.
Don't want to be hindered.

Greedy
You are greedy for wealth but Satan had hindered your efforts,
And this is now like a metaphor to your growing up.
A little wine with water helps in stomach probelms but,
This situation of yours is much of my headache!
Because Satan had hindered your efforts in life and,
You have to struggle to meet up in life in many ways.

Reading Me
There is a chance I will go unseen
Under the pattern of things
Swimming just beneath
Your distracted gaze
You will read me
At least this far
The space between
Eye to page
But I will go largely unnoticed
The secret is
I always emerge
But as someone else
A fragment
A piece of shining glass
The photograph
Look closely
And you will see every i
Is a particle
Shaped into colour
Shade
Form made sense
Texture as soft as skin
Glossy print
Half felt
You will read me
With distracted eye
But I will remain
hidden

Outward Bound
OUT upon the unknown deep,
Where the unheard oceans sound,
Where the unseen islands sleep,--
Outward bound.
Following towards the silent west
O'er the horizon's curved rim,--
Or to islands of the blest,
--He with me and I with him--
Outward bound.
Nothing but a speck we seem
In the waste of waters round,
Floating, floating like a dream,--
Outward bound.
But within that tiny speck
Two brave hearts with one accord
Past all tumult, grief, and wreck,
Look up calm,--and praise the Lord,--
Outward bound.

We learn this by the precepts that Jesus left. He observed that the people were looking outward, and assured them that the kingdom of God cometh not with outward observation; and for this reason, that it was only to be known in man.

Hindered and Both Hinged
Hindered by an admittance...
Each avoided,
Yet kept hidden and denied.
This is an attraction...
Felt together inside.
There is a love for one another.
A magnetic bond going on,
Although kept tied at bay!
Screaming in silent desire.
But neither wouldn't!
Nor either couldn't!
Address this affection...
In a tender loving way!
Hindered and both hinged...
By this spectrum of influence held within!
And embraced without confession.
Men...
Among hearts.
Wanting to expose their private parts!
Men...
Keeping silent,
Their feelings gone unshown.
But when they are apart,
This is known.
Men...
Afraid to speak of this 'considered' weakness.
Men wishing to touch,
And kiss each other's lips in secret.
Men...
Deep in a friendship.
And anything beyond that,
Society dismisses.
'Hey, hey, hey...
Enough of that!
Let's talk about something else.
Did you see that game last week? '

There is always some universal proportion, but along with that there are some places where special things happen. Ireland, for example. I've always felt it's interesting to play there. Maybe they just drink more than anybody else.
