We fear things in proportion to our ignorance of them.

Love is conditioned
Love for one is in proportion
To the influence you wield.
Concern for one is in proportion
To the identity you have.
Respect for one is in proportion
To the trust you have.
Don’t expect more than the due.

Fear of...
Fear of one thing
Fear of many things
Fear of winning nothing, but just losing
Fear of life and what is called death
Fear of being too happy, only to get hurt again
Fear of something becoming nothing
Fear of losing something of much value
Fear of love becoming hate
Fear of being liked or disliked, is of the same
Fear of misunderstanding what is understood by others
Fear is of many things
But what makes fear?

The poorer is a family, the greater is the proportion of the total outgo which must be used for food... The proportion of the outgo used for food, other things being equal, is the best measure of the material standard of living of a population.

The truth that many people never understand, until it is too late, is that the more you try to avoid suffering the more you suffer because smaller and more insignificant things begin to torture you in proportion to your fear of being hurt.

By The Fire... (Part Four)
it is not ignorance we should fear,
but our addiction to ignorance,
fueled by indifference and self centeredness...
the door is not locked, unless we lock it.
the chains are not real, until we don them,
and parade around like they're jewelry!

People always fear change. People feared electricity when it was invented, didn't they? People feared coal, they feared gas-powered engines... There will always be ignorance, and ignorance leads to fear. But with time, people will come to accept their silicon masters.

One Disturbed
Seeking an attention,
By the use of offensive means...
Teaches not a thing,
To one disturbed...
By mental dysfunctions.
An ignorance like this has been fostered.
An ignorance has been allowed to flourish.
An ignorance that grows becomes expensive.
Since an ignorance bestows,
A flowing of it that becomes out of control!

Raised To Be Independent
I did not understand it then,
But I was in good hands...
When I was raised to be independent.
And learning at an early age,
What it takes to accept in life...
About those things I had to do,
And did not like!
I did not understand it then,
The taking on of responsibilities...
That seem to have no end.
The crying alone inside,
And not showing not a tear outside.
For fear an assessment of it,
Would earn another name to be called.
I did not understand it then,
How to be patient with an ignorance displayed...
At my expense.
Or...
An unconscious ignorance everyone pays,
For the dispense of it!
I did not understand it then,
But I was in good hands...
When I was raised to be independent.
And learning at an early age,
What it takes to accept about my life...
And those things I had to do,
But did not like!

There is no Fear
The people of this world, if against they stand,
There is no fear, there is no fear, nothing like fear.
Although, we are counted cheap and rebuked,
There is no fear , there is no fear , nothing like fear.
If to beg for food, would be a life attained,
There is no fear , there is no fear , nothing like fear.
Loveable possessions if, are lost,
There is no fear , there is no fear , nothing like fear.
2. If clothed bosomed damsels, cast their eyes
There is no fear , there is no fear , nothing like fear.
Poison in the mouth, if fed by friends
There is no fear , there is no fear , nothing like fear.
Shielded armies, if to attack approach
There is no fear , there is no fear , nothing like fear.
On the acme of my head, if the sky did crash and plummet down
There is no fear , there is no fear , nothing like fear.

Forgive Them
Forgive them for their ignorance since ignorance is bliss
What empathy is all about the point they seem to miss
Their great lack in compassion does not seem a surprise
Since not that many people know how to empathize
With people who are doing it tough they do not wish to know
Of the have nots of the poor streets of poverty and woe
Cocooned in their self centredness they do not wish to hear
Of the poverty that does exist even to where they live near
Forgive them for their ignorance they cannot help the way they are
They drive around the leafy Suburb showing off their brand new car
To the material things of life they only can relate
Only their own and their family successes they wish to celebrate
Forgive them for their ignorance some people are that way
And their type are growing in numbers that does seem sad to say.

No Matter What Your Nationality
No matter what our Nationality our colour or our creed
We are air breathing mortals and when we cut we bleed
We may look on them as inferior as weeds amongst the flowers
But the proof of their equality is their blood flows red like ours.
Racism is born of ignorance and ignorance is based on fear
That's what happens when the negative things of those we do not know we only wish to hear
'Til to the sharp scythe of the Reaper we eventually must fall
So lets toast egalatarianism and a fair go for all.
No matter where we come from or our title to fame
One day it will not matter to us we will all be the same
On our great journey through life we may weather many a storm
But we must all return to Nature in whatever shape or form.
No matter what our Nationality or no matter what our Race
We are mere mortals born to die and others to take our place
Ignorance and lack of empathy to racism does lead
And differences no more than skin deep, red is the blood we bleed.

My fears
Sometimes I am fearful to follow my own dreams
And I have fears that I may cease to be
Because I fear to speak
I am fearful when I see
People substituting fear for reason
And I am more fearful when
I see people fearing to think
I have a preference to have assurance
That my fear will never arise
But I believe that I do not have assurance
That my fear will never arise
And I am not very well prepared to face on this
But I will never love ignorance,
I will never be a liar,
I will never fear to love people around,
And I will never fear of myself
Just because I know me.

What is fear?
Fear is stormy weather
Fear is light as a feather
Fear is rain
Fear is pain
Fear is hiding in the dark
Fear is lingering at the park
Fear is not your friend
Fear is hard to comprehend
Fear is not knowing what to do
Fear is what ever he wants to
Fear is turning out the lights
Fear is having no sight
Fear is going to give you a thrill
Fear is also going to make you kill
Fear is never fun
Fear is going to make you run
Fear is that scary little voice
Fear is going to give you no other choice
Fear is losing someone
Fear is like a loaded gun
Fear is something you can't control
Fear is something you can't unfold
Fear is the opposite of love
Fear is what we're made of
Fear is not going to please
Fear is always me...
