Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things, in which smiles and kindness, and small obligations given habitually, are what preserve the heart and secure comfort.

Teacher Privileges

To be a teacher
is a privilege
the appreciation

of any student
humbles honours
us both in respect

true efforts
are rewarded
appreciated

even if often
sometimes
the road is hard

sacrifices made yet still
we run education race
until the end to the best

of our
abilities
to honour

our students
our duties
to parents to God.

Godspeed
to your work
sacrifices.

Daily There Are Happenings

Daily there are happenings
and all of life is passing by
in a world filled with new things
with new wonders for the eyes

while I am big but feeling small
and when things are really great
in Your presence which are forever tall
in the world the You do constantly create

and even when life is feeling dim,
unselfishly more sacrifices You do make,
when my eyes with tears do swim
another step closer to You I do take

then I know the power of Your great love,
that no evil force can remove.

Teacher’s Day,2011 in India

Remember all your teachers who taught you
in school and college, right from childhood days;
Revere your teachers in all things you do;
Pray God should keep them happy most, always!

They put their heart and soul to train us up;
They helped us drink ken with ease from life’s cup!
Remind yourself the toil that teachers gave;
If not for them, would we now well behave?

Recapitulate good things that teachers did;
Recollect moments ashamed, when you hid;
Realize the role each one of them well played;
Recognize their mettle, prowess, love, aid!

Recount their help they offered you in need;
Reflect on advice good, they tried to seed;
Refill your heart and mind with joy, O man!
Repay their kindness to them if you can.

What noble sacrifices teachers made!
Efforts to train us, students, will not fade;
Despite their hard-work, life gave them raw deal;
Our teachers made us wholesome and thus feel!

Dedicated to all my beloved teachers
who made me what I am, today!

The Sorrows of the Blind

Pity the sorrows of the poor blind,
For they can but little comfort find;
As they walk along the street,
They know not where to put their feet.
They are deprived of that earthly joy
Of seeing either man, woman, or boy;
Sad and lonely through the world they go,
Not knowing a friend from a foe:
Nor the difference betwixt day and night,
For the want of their eyesight;
The blind mother cannot see her darling boy,
That was once her soul's joy.
By day and night,
Since she lost her precious sight;
To her the world seems dark and drear,
And she can find no comfort here.
She once found pleasure in reading books,
But now pale and careworn are her looks.
Since she has lost her eyesight,
Everything seems wrong and nothing right.

The face of nature, with all its beauties and livery green,
Appears to the blind just like a dream.
All things beautiful have vanished from their sight,
Which were once their heart's delight.
The blind father cannot see his beautiful child, nor wife,
That was once the joy of his life;
That he was wont to see at morn and night,
When he had his eyesight.
All comfort has vanished from him now,
And a dejected look hangs on his brow.

Kind Christians all, both great and small,
Pity the sorrows of the blind,
They can but little comfort find;
Therefore we ought to be content with our lot,
And for the eyesight we have got,
And pray to God both day and night
To preserve our eyesight;
To be always willing to help the blind in their distress,
And the Lord will surely bless
And guard us by night and day,
And remember us at the judgment day.

Snail Crossing.... (Part Six)

the life well lived is composed
of small things, small happenings,
and small touches...
for it is in these most simple and
real of moments that we evolve...
a word spoken in kindness....
a meal shared, an hour or two
of listening...
a choice made from selfless compassion...
these are the moments of eternity,
the trace of our living that remains...
and the steps to the temple,
of understanding, and freedom.

The best things in life are nearest Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Who Is Truly Great?

Great is one who humbles oneself;
Great is one who accomplishes without expectations;
Great is one who labors for others’ welfare;
Great is one who struggles for a noble cause;
Great is one who gives his life for his Maker’s sake;
Great is one who sacrifices his precious life for truth’s sake;
Great is one who takes the road least taken;
Great is one who climbs life’s steep hills;
Great is one who treads dangerous paths for mankind’s progress;
Great is one who risks his life unduly to save others’ lives;
Great is one who although born or made handicapped does extra-ordinary feats;
Great is one who scales heights of achievements rarely done by others;
Great is one who toils in sleep-hours too for mankind’s upliftment;
Great is one who racks his brain to find a cure for a crippling disease;
Great is one who shuns selfishness for the cause of his poorer brethren;
Great is one who dies so that others can live in peace;
Great is one who lives not for oneself but others;
Great is one who loves and forgives his worst foe;
Great is one who leads life in accordance with the Word of God!

Life

life life oh God given life
you and me given without strife
i'll say life comes from life
if i lie read science, religion about life

oh wonderful life how long more
to stay for mans heart grows sore
as he found for the earth it has core
but for life only mysteries more and more

the one who made life for man
and made it for great and small man
i know everything you can
grant he so we enjoy it as breeze fan

Sonnet-Life

Life's fabric has both threads of joys and woes;
You take away the woes, it will not stand;
When both in optimum scales, well it goes;
You take away the joys, you can't withstand.

Life is a battle, we do always fight;
Sometimes with others' help; sometimes alone;
The war is waged between darkness and light;
When victory comes, we laugh; if not we groan.

Small things in life do matter very much;
Small acts of kindness can purchase hearts;
Small courtesies can most cruel hearts touch;
Small acts of help to people work like darts.

Like your life and it will give you pleasure;
Love your life and it will be your treasure.

An Ode To My Dad

THIS POEM IS AN ODE TO My LOVING DAD MANI

a man of greatness
made only of kindness
my only super hero
never let me in sorrow

a man with hair half white
with a heart as bright
as bright as a sun
who is gods only son

he is as soft as cream
who comes for when i scream
he suffers so much -for
me to have a great much

his kind hands kept me warm
his loving smile made no harm
i will always bend
to the kindness he lends

he kept his dreams aside
for me to have a great side
a man as beautiful as cherry blossom
a man who is awesome

a man as sweet as honey
i will always love my father MANI.! ! ! !

So Little Kindness

I cant believe it after so long
How can the memories really be gone
Now I dont deny its over
But why must you be so cold
I cant believe it
So little kindness
Yeah baby thats too bad
Saw you this evening out on the town
You went outta your way just to put me down
Now why got this chip on your sholder
When I dont even love you no more
I cant belive it
So little kindness
Baby its sad
cause we cont even talk about the little things
After this love we had
So little kindness
Baby thats too bad
So sad child child
Dont worry baby
Im not gonna stand in your way
Now that its gone
Our love is strong
No matter what you say
So little kindness
Youre so blind
That you cant even recognize a real thing
When it was yours and mine
So little kindness
After all this time
So little kindness
Baby its sad
Cause we cant even talk about anything
After what we once had
So little kindness
So little kindness
So little kindness
Im looking for some kindness
I need some kindness
Can I just have some kindness
Give me some kindness

Kindness is the life's blood, the elixir of marriage. Kindness makes the difference between passion and caring. Kindness is tenderness. Kindness is love, but perhaps greater than love ... Kindness is good will. Kindness says, 'I want you to be happy.' Kindness comes very close to the benevolence of God.

Enduring Love

You make my life so serene
Someone to make a small light in dark
Your comfort warms my heart although it’s unseen
Your light in such stark
Contrast with the looming darkness I long for my light to know
I yearn to show
You just how much I care
Your kindness-alluring, a dare
I want to build my life with you and you with me
I want to you to see
How much I love you
No one else could compare someone show me who
You are everything to me, your comfort
Keeps me going you are my support
I may be resistant but you make me want to brave
I will stay with you 'till the grave
the world may change around us
But we will be together forever
Thank you for helping me through the stress
You mean more to me then I can explain let us never
Be apart I will be with you if you are here
Right next to me Muffin, each year
Words cannot explain my love for you unashamed i am proud of our love
this poem not wrought in vain if you return this enduring love

13th May 2012..Thank You All

You belong to my heart now and forever…

To my dearest family, online friends, friends of all ages, the new and the precious old.

Your sincere kind wishes filled my heart with happiness, as another year hastily unfolds.

Growing old with you made my journey great with the wonders of your kindness dear,

Sharing the smiles, from near and far blossoms a joy, a day with many a glorious cheer.

This very special day you never failed to make my heart and soul enjoy the fragrance of love…

Hope I awake to see my next bday with the blessings of good health from God Almighty above!

Thankyou …All

Sonnet - Small Things Matter Much

A dropp of water bears semblance to sea;
A whiff of air has make-up same as rest;
A pebble speaks a mountainous story;
A dew-dropp shows the landscape’s beauty best.

A tiny-tot has all the parents' trait;
A prayer small can wonders work like saint;
A word of kindness sows love, removes hate;
A mansion ain't as good as cottage quaint!

A single Rose has smell like a garland;
A blade of grass looks like the meadow great;
A musician faulty can spoil a band;
A mistake small can spell unhappy fate.
Small things matter just like a life-time's work;
Yet, failures small should not a man's mind irk.

Believed' To Be Behind Faked Walls

Darker currents appear to unnerve and disturb.
Coming as they do...
To shake up the doubters.
Hushing but not 'yet' to close those mouths...
Still habitually tossing their standards valued.
Still habitually tossing their way of life,
And lives of others they push around and about.

Torment and heartache they come to face.

And it is with faith.
And it is with hope prayed...
That 'Something' arrives,
To rattle them away and out of their cages...
To scope.

'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.
'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.

There is a power that is conscious!
A power few can define.
And nevertheless this power felt,
Is a power 'Divine' no one can define.

'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.
'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.

Whatever is 'believed' to be behind faked walls,
Should be painstakenly reconsidered...
As a process of thorough and immediate investigation.

Darker currents appear to unnerve and disturb.
Coming as they do...
To shake up the doubters.
Hushing but not 'yet' to close those mouths...
Still habitually tossing their standards valued.
Still habitually tossing their way of life,
And lives of others they push around and about.

'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'

Whatever is 'believed' to be behind faked walls,
Should be painstakenly reconsidered...
As a process of thorough and immediate investigation.

Understand clearly that when a great need appears a great use appears also; when there is a small need there is small use; it is obvious, then, that full use is made of all things at all times according to the necessity thereof.

Sonnet: The Man of Wisdom!

Most labor for immediate good returns;
Some work all life to pull off great a feat;
For benefits and earthly gains, heart yearns;
We always want success to come and greet!

The man of wisdom does not wish for these;
He does his duties all whole-heartedly;
He only wants at mind and heart some peace;
He prays to God all life repeatedly!

All earthly things are transient, worthless;
Our stay on earth prepares our soul for God;
Our needs of life God gives, nevertheless;
This human life’s most precious gift from Lord!

God’s blessings give anyone good awards;
God-willingly anyone gets rewards.
