Daily there are happenings
and all of life is passing by
in a world filled with new things
with new wonders for the eyes
while I am big but feeling small
and when things are really great
in Your presence which are forever tall

and even when life is feeling dim,

The Quaker Of The Olden Time
THE Quaker of the olden time!
How calm and firm and true,
Unspotted by its wrong and crime,
He walked the dark earth through.
The lust of power, the love of gain,
The thousand lures of sin
Around him, had no power to stain
The purity within.
With that deep insight which detects
All great things in the small,
And knows how each man's life affects
The spiritual life of all,
He walked by faith and not by sight,
By love and not by law;
The presence of the wrong or right
He rather felt than saw.
He felt that wrong with wrong partakes,
That nothing stands alone,
That whoso gives the motive, makes
His brother's sin his own.
And, pausing not for doubtful choice
Of evils great or small,
He listened to that inward voice
Which called away from all.
O Spirit of that early day,

I am chained
I am slave and chained
My hands are tightened
Mouth is sealed and eyes blinded
World has seen it but never minded
Since years I am under occupation
Children and their mothers suffer sans relation
Looses daily one soul forever
Still world has no time to care ever
Any time the artificial line is drawn
Curfew is imposed and shutters are down
Siren raids are on and life is shattered
Life is turning from bad to worst and remains scattered
Is this the price my kids may have to pay?
The world may silently watch and have nothing to say?
Alright I shall bleed some more
Let them see me in tears furthermore
How can youth control their rage?
When no peace in sight and house is on ablaze
How many more of them you want to die?
Humanity doesn't want to offer even single try?
How long will you witness my body to collapse?
Cry under pillow and shed the tears?
Blood soaked bodies to be seen all over and no one to see?
Can we call whole world as democratic and free?
No one has observed a single fast when I was raped?
Took out cloths daily and still people have clapped
How would you tolerate such happenings in your own home?
When some one enters by force and remains as unwelcome
You may all open eyes and see the reality
Daily new born die for the poor facilities

During times of great despair
I know my God is always there
He protects me from the evil eye
His hands reach down from the sky
To give me strength and give me faith
My god will always keep me safe

An island represents the world and people that inhabit it,
A conch represents democracy and freedom of speech,
Glasses symbolize power as well as the power to understand,
And have common sense,
Light represents the power to reveal or conceal,
As well as to create and illusion in the mind,
It means knowledge as well,
The sun shows power and strength however it seems,
Like it's also the protector of good,
The sea seems to represent a haven of unknown,
And maybe evil,

Fresh Air
The fresh air and the sky give such a refreshing feeling. The weather happens to be so nice. I am so alone. However, it is better than having no life at all. Life is good because at least I can do the things which I like. Earlier I hated this life but I will not say that I hate life still. Have no love in this life although at least I can be free. My love is a rock, an immovable force
Anywhere that you are, my love is right here
With any tick of the clock
Life can change its course
