Any kid will run any errand for you, if you ask at bedtime.

There Is A Poem I Could Have Written
There is a poem I could have written
Instead I had an errand of life I needed to do
The errand took longer than I expected =
Many years later long after the errand was incompletely done
I remembered there was a poem to write -
But I cannot remember how it was supposed to go-
And it will always now be
as if it never was-

My Bed Time
The bed time I miss
I miss when you told me to get ready for bed. I miss having you tuck me in at night., reading a bedtime story and if I was good a little melody. Then afterwards you would turn my nightlight on and say okay Kay-Kay it’s bedtime. Then you would sing a lullaby till I fell asleep. I miss your voice. I miss all the times we have spent together. I just miss you. I would give my life for you. I miss my bedtime with you. Then I miss you waking me up in the morning

Wrestling A Foe
To wrestle a foe is suggesting a crime,
May werewolves regulate our passes,
This time no help is at bedtime.
Your nation lies ahead as we climb,
May strangers lurk in the dark gases,
To wrestle a foe is suggesting a crime.
Combatting the burden on our mime,
May dangers damage the glasses,
This time no help is at bedtime.
Yesterday, the day was like the lime,
Will they not be sour and sweet as lasses?
To wrestle a foe is suggesting a crime.
May today ask for sentences as longtime,
Yet the nights swing in masses,
This time no help is at bedtime.
The darkness eventually arrives in the meantime,
Selling effort over as if in classes,
This time no help is at bedtime,
To wrestle a foe is suggesting a crime.

Loyalty Does Not Come Cheap
We are all victims of the circumstances around us and,
Your lips took mine in the name of love!
But, what is written is already written.
Bedtime delights and bedtime love,
Bedtime stories and bedtime acts;
And like the bold and the beautiful with,
The glory of the hearts to share with each other.
The sex of the unborn child is like,
The very name of the unborn child!
But, the eleventh rain comes to make us fall asleep;
However, in this world, people call sin enjoyment.
Loyalty does not come cheap in this world,
With money at hand to put your back to the ground!
And, you have to buy your way through at times.
No matter how great or how strong a person is,
We still have enemies around us! !
However, exotic are your moves on this love;
But, we are all victims of the circumstances in this world.

The Poem At The End Of A Too- Errand Filled Day
THE POEM AT THE END OF A TOO ERRAND- FILLED DAY
The poem at the end of a too errand- filled day
Is a poem of incompleteness.
I might have done more today
I might have found a way to ‘truly write’
I might have reached that feeling
That I am in the true thing.
Tired and errand- troubled
Even afternoon sleep could not revive me.
I write this now
As the last effort
Before the Candles are lit
To enter Shabbat
As if I have earned
The rest
we are about to be blessed with.

The Sloth
They call me the sloth
Way down in the ghetto
Italian Spaghetti
Singing falsetto
Sleeping all day
Rip Van Winklin'
Spend my nights in bars
Glasses tinklin'
I'm so bad
He's so nasty
Ain't got no friends
Real outcasty
Stay out of my way
Or you'll end up a cripple
I'll take this piece of paper
And slice you in the nipple
[repeat first verse]
Colonel Forbin stared at the fourteen bars that stood at the end of the cell. He ran his hand across the cold, damp dungeon wall and thought again about the door. He had traveled through the door out of necessity. Once he knew it existed, he simply couldn't leave it alone. Just like Wilson. Just like Tela. Just like Errand Wolfe. And he sat in the dungeon, and he realized that he was back again; through the door. And through the tiny window in the corner of his cell, he heard the distant strains...
Errand... Errand... Errand... Errand...
And from atop the mountain Icculus looked down on all that went on below him. And he smiled...

A Distressing Bedtime
It is now bedtime, the soldier of times,
We sleep half of the night, just tonight.
The rooms of a leap year are vast,
It was bedevilled with ghosts far too superior
To the motley crew of ghouls last year,
A clue of them died, like a crown of kings.
Distressing paws of blood escaped just past the day,
A dialect arrived by mind, of a faraway language.
The paws of a wolf became the dream of a naughty kind,
Lines of light arrived and departed.
It was now bedtime again, the very next night,
Full of mystery and suspense.

Love Affair
Its not just a love affair, its all or nothing
Do I bet it all on love? , or change and freak out?
When the chances come my way
Will they up and dissappear?
Will it ever go my way?
Or am I out of here?
Therell be tears before your bedtime
You mark my words
You wanted more than I could give you
You wanted more than you could have
Its not just a love affair
Its now or never
Could I give it all to you?
Is that what were about?
If I hold you, will you stay?
Or will you up and dissappear?
Be forever and a day
Like your letter said
Therell be tears before your bedtime
You mark my words
You wanted more than I could give you
You wanted more than you could have
When the chances come my way
Will they up and dissappear
Will it ever go my way
Or am I out of here?
Therell be tears before your bedtime
You mark my words
You wanted more than I could give you
You wanted more than you could have
(loves growing stronger every day)
(loves growing stronger every way)

The Banana's Lullaby
When grandma wished to keep her fruit
Her apples she would take
And put them on a bed of straw
At rest, but wide awake;
But newer days have newer modes,
And now, that it may keep,
They give an orange opiates
And sing it off to sleep.
And they're telling bedtime stories to bananas,
And rocking little raspberries to rest.
They will dope an apple silly,
And it wakes in Piccadilly
From a beauty sleep that makes it look its best.
It seems a heartless kind of trick
To play on helpless pears;
To lull them off to slumberland
And soothe their nervous cares,
Only to wake them up again,
Weeks after, on a plate,
On the day of execution
To announce their cruel fate.
But they're telling bedtime stories to bananas,
And putting plums to by-by on a ship,
And they never have a notion
They have been across the ocean,
So they even miss the pleasure of the trip.

Lady
Bounce baby, bounce baby
Baby baby, bounce bounce
Bounce baby, bounce baby, bounce !
CHORUS :
Lady
If you really wanna ride with me
If you wanna have some fun baby
Then you just gotta bounce !
baby bounce bounce
VERSES :
Baby what's your name I would like to say hello
I am a true fellow with potential to be mellow
I know you know that we know that it is bedtime
I'm just a gigolo but that is not a bad sign
Ladies stand in line just to ride in my new roadster
Did I see your face lately on a playboy poster ?
I know you know that we know that it is bedtime
I'm just a gigolo
Oh baby bounce !
BRIDGE :
If it's good then it's good
If it's not then it's not
But you got me kind of hot
Baby you don't stop
If it's good then it's good
If it's not then it's not
But you got me kind of hot
Baby bounce bounce
Lady lady you just have to bounce !

Angel
Underneath this canopy of snow
Where fifty-seven winters
Took their toll
Where did you go?
And I believed in you
I believed in you
Like elvis presley
Singing psalms on a sunday
(where did you go? )
Well shes gone to meet her maker
Back to where she came from
Come to save her soul...
Come to save her soul...
Come to take her home
cause its late and past
Your bedtime
Well past bedtime
Angel
My angel
Fly over me
Angel...
She took her life
Within her hands
She took her life
Within her own two hands
And no-one can tell her
What to do now
And I believed in you
I believed in you
Like elvis presley
Singin live from las vegas
(where did you go? )
Well shes gone to meet
Her maker
Back to where she came from
Come to save her soul...

Noddin' By De Fire
SOME folks t'inks hit's right an' p'opah,
Soon ez bedtime come erroun',
Fu' to scramble to de kiver,
Lak dey'd hyeahed de trumpet soun'.
But dese people day all misses
Whut I mos'ly does desiah;
Dat's de settin' roun' an' dozin',
An' a-noddin' by de fiah.
When you's tiahed out a-hoein',
Er a-followin' de plough,
Whut's de use of des a-fallin'
On yo' pallet lak a cow?
W'y, de fun is all in waitin'
In de face of all de tiah,
An' a-dozin' and a-drowsin'
By a good ol' hick'ry fiah.
Oh, you grunts an' groans an' mumbles
Case yo' bones is full o' col',
Dough you feels de joy a-tricklin'
Roun' de co'nahs of yo' soul.
An' you 'low anothah minute
'S sho to git you wa'm an' dryah,
W'en you set up pas' yo' bedtime,
Case you hates to leave de fiah.
Whut's de use o' downright sleepin'?
You can't feel it while it las',
An' you git up feelin' sorry
W'en de time fu' it is pas'.
Seem to me dat time too precious,
An' de houahs too short entiah,
Fu' to sleep, w'en you could spen' 'em
Des a-noddin' by de fiah.
