I've learned that life is very tricky business: Each person needs to find what they want to do in life and not be dissuaded when people question them.

Meets The Eye

You have all known me from what I have written
But know I am different
I have learned to live life a different way
To see life in a different perspective

When I was in that hospital
I saw so many people come and go
For so many different reasons

When I first went in
I was scared and didn’t know
What was going to happen
But now I know that life is worth living

There is more to life that meets the eye
You have to look at life more carefully
Its like judging people
You shouldn’t judge a person by their looks
You need to get to know them

Life is just like that
You can’t judge life
Because if you do
Then life is going to be very rocky
Just like mine is right know
But I am trying to get through it

When I first started writing
I wrote deep and dark
I wrote about death and hurting myself
I still do here and there but I am trying to move on
And write about things that I am looking forward to

So I am moving on into a better life
A life I have never had before
A life where I can control what I do
And actually be happy

But its going to take time
So I am going to take it day by day
And see where life is going to take me

Question Meaning

The meaning of the question
Is to always question meaning,
The meaning of life,
And the life of meaning.

The life unquestioned
Means very little,
Just as a life left meaningless,
Without question, has very little life.

Therefore, we all should daily question
The meaning of life,
By doing so, life's Meaning
Will unquestionably, each day, find us.

Remember: we are free to question meaning;
May we become free enough to
Let it freely question us.

The court of gentlemen

Some people had forgotten their dreams
Buried it into oblivion deep within
Some people killed their lives
Keep it silence let their wisdom fly
Some people live life’s a destiny
Build name and ride in fame
with obscurity in them’
Some people let go of their spirit of vitality
And chose to live life of’ miserably;

How many of these people cannot find
The reason of loving without leaving
their self-dying
And what else they can do
so much for cry and end up to sigh,
How many of these people who watch the sky
but cannot find nor see the heavens
And what else they can pray
knee after knee on plea but only to die,
How many of these people live justly
but cannot find life’s beauty only cruelty
And what else they can hope for
after the long day of labor for prosperity

Some people will ask the same question
But cannot find the same answer
Some people will not bother for this inquiry
But cannot put aside the pain of reality
Some people may find time and reflect ‘bout it
But still cannot grasp what life has to say

To Amuse At The Expense Of Wasted Time

Would these be betting odds,
That an asking of someone...
Who has done something in their life,
For more than 'sixty years'.
And approached to be questioned,
What they have been doing...
Since they were last seen ten years ago?

And that question has been asked,
By that same person rerpeatedly.
And the response is known.

What would be the likely odds,
That the person asked the question...
Would 'not' be doing,
What has become an obvious love...
For what that person does.

Should the one asking that same question,
Take a gamble and ask another question...
That would initiate a conversation,
Expressing a real interest?
And not just say the same thing to re-tread.

I maybe wrong about this,
But...
Leaving the person feeling a sense of being appreciated,
Would probably reveal a human being existing.
Instead of a novelty to amuse at the expense of wasted time.

Finding Truth

They say that everyone lies
It is said that everyone will hurt you
They say honesty is the best policy
But what happens when we find the truth?

What if we find something we don't want to?
What if we find our life has been a lie?
What if we find all we ever worked for was for nothing?
What happens when we find the truth?

Is it possible to find truth within a person?
Can one person bring light into your world?
Can that one person make everything right?
Can finding that one person be like finding truth?

If it is possible then i believe i found truth
Truth to my life
Truth to everything i've searched for
Truth for the rest of my life.

The lies are over
My life complete
Truth to who i am
Which is all i ever wanted to know...to know just who i am.

This is dedicated to my g/f Gini, i love her so much.

I've learned

Ive learned that to love someone doesnt have to involve pain,
Ive learned that to have a friend you must be a friend first,
Ive learned that in time youll see your mistakes and learn from them,
Ive learned that to be alone sometimes is the best thing for you,
Ive learned that in order to love a person you must feel loved,
Ive learned that if your wrong admit it or youll never forgive yourself,
Ive learned that your first love will be a part of you and you may never forget,
Ive learned that in order to move on you must fix what was first wrong,
Ive learned that if you ever mess up, you can always start over again,
Ive learned that to be 'cool' doesnt involve pressure,
Ive learned to accept what I have and be happy,
Ive learned that people will come and go so tell the ones you love how you feel,
Ive learned that to respect yourself you must respect others,
Ive learned that your actions always involve consequences whether it be good or bad,
Ive learned that priceless words can mean the world to someone,
Ive learned that sometimes being silent is the best solution,
Ive learned to expect the unexpected,
Ive learned that healing a broken heart involves tears and pain,
Ive learned to see the world in the eyes of others,
And Ive learned that each new day is a day to touch a life.

The Sound Of Wings.....

from the bars of the cell,
i learned freedom from the body.
from the underside of the bridge,
i learned home has not a house.
from forty years of working,
i learned the bitterness of the slave.
from the political lies,
i learned that truth cant be bought.
from the books i read,
i learned to reason and question.
from the heroin needle,
i learned the value of life.
from love lost,
i learned how to love.
from doubt i learned seeking,
in seeking i found god to be more.
from the scars on my heart,
i learned to be a man.
from battles fought and lost,
i learned the need for peace.
from discrimination i learned equality,
from anger i learned forgiveness.
from the mirror i learned responsibility...
from the bars of the cell,
i learned the sound of wings!

Little person in the well

Little person in the well
Why are you still here
Is life so hard to look at
You must linger here

Must you be out of sight
From something with no eyes

Little person in the well
Why are you still here
Is life so hard to look upon
That you must linger here

Little person in the shadows
Why are you sitting here
Is life so hard to look upon
That you must hide in the shadows

Must you hide so nothing can find you
When nothing's searching

Little person in the shadows
Why are you sitting here
Is life so hard to look upon
That you must hide in the shadows

Little person running on
Why don't you ever stop
Is life so hard to look upon
That you must keep running from it

You run from every thing
When nobody's chasing you

Little person running on
Why don't you ever stop
Is life so hard to look upon
That you must keep running from it

The little person in the well
Has a secret to share
The little person hiding in the dark
Has a secret to be told
The little person always running
Has a secret thats never been heard

The little people that you hear of
Are just like me

The Life of One

The life of one is good
The life of one is bad
The life of one is glad
The life of one is sad
The life of one smiles
The life of one cries
The life of one see's the brightness of the sun
The life of one see's the dust rolling of there shoes
The life of one see's the beutifull of the night sky
The life of one see's the horror of darkness in the night
The life of one see's the beutifull in people
The life of one see's the ugly in people
The life of one is happy
The life of one is lost
The life of one is in attention
The life of one doesnt give a shit
The life of one cares for others
The life of one acts like he/she dont know you
The life of one see's the birds singing threw out the day
The life of one see's the shallows of the underworld
The life of one see's the wolrds happenings
The life of one see's the nothing at all
The life of one see's the person in you
The life of one see's the flow of nothing
The life is just life

You Have Not Yet Learned to Survive

You have not yet learned to survive.
I've heard you make excuses for it.
As you sit in the comfort of your parents' home.
Who provide amenities,
You use and they condone.

You have not yet learned to survive.
I listen to you pass your judgements,
On my appearance and how I dress.
And how I live alone,
Without complaints of being stressed.
And every bill I pay...
I do that on my own.
And that stress factor?
I have no reason to make that known.

You have not yet learned to survive.

You say you raise children?
Who are more with your folks than they are with you.
I have yet to see you do that by yourself.
Without complaining you have no social life left.
And you say your folks are always in your business.
If you stayed away and took care of it,
No one but you would know what that business is.

But you like to announce you have no life and two kids!

And then you tell me,
I don't know what life is about?
I don't know what it is to sacrifice?
Since I have it made living alone,
With no creditors ringing my phone!
And I am always at home I never go out!

Where 'is' your mind?
At Six Flags?
Or DisneyWorld?
Which one is it?

You have not yet learned to survive.
Not if you are relying on others,
To keep your lifestyle alive!

And I know you want to keep your 'lifestyle' alive!

Along with your siblings!
Who bring 'their' children...
For stops at mom and pop's.
To leave and come back when they please!

Only person

I am the only person
Responsible here.

Only person wellknown in the market
Only person to love
Only person to show life with open eyes.

The life is an empty vessel
The life you like and
If you like you can puton
Anything you like
If you like you can putoff
All your programme
And held me responsible
For all lapses committed by you.

I am the person
The only person
Who is yours
Only yours

Life goes on

My contract comes to an end
and I will have to find another job somewhere,
and outside people pass in beautiful cars
and life goes on.

At the traffic light there are beggars,
with children and boards
and stretced out hands
and life goes on.

On the road there’s a nasty accident
and there are some people dead
and for all of the rest,
life goes on.

Sometimes a person wonders
where everything is going to
and why destiny plays its part,
but life keeps
setting its demands.

My Believe

I believe
That we should care for everyone as we live in a society.
I believe
That true friendship continues to grow
Same goes for true love.
I believe
That you should always leave everyone with loving words.
I believe

That it will take a long time to become the person I want to be.
Because I believe nothing is impossible.

I believe
That there is no word like Luck
It totally depends on your work.

I believe
That change only occurs
When u analyze your small small mistakes
I believe
Miracle only happens
When you understand your own fault before others.

I believe
That anyone can keep going long alone
I believe
That we are responsible for what we do or did

I believe
That heroes are the people who do work with regardless of the consequences.

I believe
That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down

Still there will be the ones to help you get back up
That is loving God.

I believe
That maturity comes from different types of experiences you've had and what you've
learned from from your every mistakes

I believe
That it is easy to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I believe
That our background and circumstances may have influenced
who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I believe
That great people look at the exact same thing what other see
but see it something totally different.

I believe
That when a needy person cries out to you
you will find the strength to help them

How much you can.
I believe
winner never quit or quitter never win

I believe
That cruel & rude way on your way
Do not make you a decent human being

I believe
That we should not change our life
Life will change for us by our works

I believe
Life is a poem, so write your own story
Life is a song, so sing your own song
Life is a game, so play with different tricks
Life is a full of fun, so lets enjoy it.

Mirroring the shades of me

I look into the mirror and
Seeing not only a reflection of myself,
This world or the world daring me to enter
But the person I use to be
The one I'm afraid to be again
The person who would tear your heart apart
And not care
The person that didn't take her education seriously
The type of person that wanted to do
What she wanted to do

I see the person I am
Someone who helps you
No matter what
Even if I'm the one getting kicked
The senior in high school getting ready for graduation
Hovering over the next level of my life
But trying to find a way up out of the middle of the ocean
Everyone calls life in an education box
This is where I will discover
The mouse and tiger inside of me
Don't want to think of separating
Of being alone
And on my own

It's faded but there as I glance into the mirror
I see the person I will be
A person who helps other people
Discover that people with disabilities
Are not so different
I have found my way up the education latter
Helping people
Showing them there is someone that cares
And believes that they can do
Whatever they set their mind too

As if my mind was coming back to me
Out of a dream
My eyes cleared
As I realized I was just
Standing in front of a mirror
Thinking of that red cap and gown again

Starting Over Blues

I am starting over my life here at home
By making some changes to my life
So that I can improve the quality of my life
I am starting my life over
Because I made so many mistakes in my life
But I finaly learned all the lessons in life
I am starting over my life
By going out more
And socializing more with people
Because I love people
And I get along with people very well
