At MIT, I had the good fortune for seven years to teach network theory, which is basic to many disciplines, to one-third of the undergraduate student body. It was an experiment to see how high we could bring their level of understanding, and it exceeded all of my expectations.

Indeed, this epistemological theory of the relation between theory and experiment differs sharply from the epistemological theory of naive falsificationism.

I don't think that a company should own a studio and the network, and program for their own network. It hurts the creativity - it is not a level playing field.

The Spirit Level
The Spirit level lifts us high,
Our standards to reform.
The Lord is love and love can't die,
It's hot not cold or warm
Are you living for Lord Jesus
Or the evil Devil?
If we're willing, God will teach us
About the Spirit level.
The Spirit level guides each one
Who's open to God's Word
And thanks God's Son for all He's done
And mercy that's occurred.
It's only by the Lamb of God
That we can still be saved
Forgiven by Christ shedding blood
And not how we've behaved.
So little love is seen on Earth,
Yet love begins at home
And yet each stranger's heart has worth
Wherever we may roam
Compassion's for the rich and poor,
Each soul needs God's embrace
Keep up the good work evermore,
Triumphant in God's grace
The Spirit level lifts us high,
Our standards to reform.
The Lord is love and love can't die,
It's hot not cold or warm
Are you living for Lord Jesus
Or the evil Devil?
If we're willing, God will teach us
About the Spirit level.

One Good Woman
I am so in love with you
I just cant deny it
Everybody knows I cant deny it
Everybody knows
You can read me like a book
Just like a fortune teller
Everybody needs a fortune tller
Telling you the very truth
You bring me feelin
You bring me fire
You give me love thats taking me higher
Just goes to prove
What one good woman can do
You bring out the best in me
With love and understanding
Anytime I need some understanding
You are always there
And if I ever lose my way
Youre always there to guide me
Anyone can see youre here inside me
Anyone can see it
You bring me feelin
You bring me fire
You give me love thats taking me higher
Just goes to prove
What one good woman can do
You fill me with hope
Love and devotion
You taught me how to show my emotion
Just goes to prove
What one good woman can do
This is our time, we have it all
We have a way of knowing if were heading for a fall
Well work it out and get it right
And when I get home to you
Youre such a sight for my poor eyes
This is our time, we have it all
When I come home at night
Youre such a sight for my poor eyes
You bring me feelin
You bring me fire
You give me love thats taking me higher
Just goes to prove
What one good woman can do
You fill me with hope
Love and devotion
You taught me how to show my emotion
Just goes to prove
What one good woman can do
Repeat

Student Teacher
I'm a student teacher
I love all my kids
Did'nt want to be a preacher
Like my daddy did
I go to work every day
Here at Jefferson school
I love it when we work and play
Man this place is cool
We teach whats wrong, we teach whats right
We teach the golden rule
We teach them songs and not to fight
At least not here at school
I am a student teacher
And yes I'm here to stay
I am the special feature
Of the teachings here today

Fortune Fish
Fortune fish from the sea,
Come and bring good luck to me.
I need some luck brought my way,
Swim through the currents to me today.
Fish of fate and destiny,
I ask you to hear my plea.
Fortune fish from the sea,
Come and bring good luck to me.
Fish of kismet please swim near,
I wish for positive karma here.
Fortune fish from the sea,
Come and bring good luck to me.

The Importance of Being
To teach every day
Is a dream come true?
But to see the face
Of a student
Who suddenly understands?
The importance of being
The inner shinning light
When it clicks just right
Leaves you warm inside
At the confidence
They now bring
I love what I do
I love what I teach
I hope I've made
A difference in their life

Angel Of Miracles
She couldn’t teach through lecture
As the student was unable to hear.
Nor could she teach by exhibit.
The blind student could not see it.
The student was able to respond to touch.
It would be necessary to learn how much.
In other instances one could use taste.
Such learning could not be done in haste.
Other times she could teach using smell.
Done kindly to bring him out of his shell.
These are the only ways to communicate,
Establish an interactive state.
The scholar must expand his repertoire
In order to communicate with the mentor.
Communication involves at least two people.
For this the mentor must be responsible.
The original language had to be built
As a form of Braille, not seen but felt.
The one developed, used both hands’ fingers.
In different combinations representing letters.
The teacher must provide an object to feel
And spell its name, using finger Braille.
Then repeat this over and over until
The student relates the object to the spell.
Communication is established one word at a time
The patience required is greater than sublime.
Then after success with more than one session
Must begin again with Braille 8 dot conversion.
Alphabet using both small and capital letters
Define objects requiring combinations of fingers.
Numbers and symbols and all punctuation
Must be learned and be used in each situation.
The student is driven by a need to communicate.
The teacher has an angelic drive to dedicate
Great effort to providing a life of true usefulness
To this loved one of God with all of its brightness.

My Stunning Mystery Companion
What with all my expectations long abandoned
And a future I no longer saw my hand in
How I found you is beyond my understanding
My stunning mystery companion
I know that you don't want to be
Out here forever on this road
Or live among the boxes
Where all my past lives have been stowed
Maybe you're thinking of someplace
With a garden by the sea
Where we could slow down
And you could put a little more work in on me
What with all my expectations long abandoned
My solitary nature notwithstanding
You're the one who pulled me
Out of that crash landing
My stunning mystery companion
Right now I can't quite remember
The cause of all my tears
I hear you laughing and somehow
The past just disappears
Maybe you were joking when you said
You'd take me for ten years and no more
Maybe you've had the best of me
But you could take another ten years and be sure
What with all my expectations long abandoned
And a life that just gets more and more demanding
There's no doubt that you're the reason I'm still standing
My stunning mystery companion

Living Doll
If you had such a checkered past
Then how come youre living today
I never wanted to bring it up
But whats the writing on your forehead say
Wide awake and lost, I dont feel anything at all
This sex appeal, I cant believe thats what its called
Hey
Here comes somebodys body
Who threw me away
The one and only living doll
I never liked the colder side of her
Or anybody
I never tired of puppet shows
cause I like the way that they talk
I never wanted to bring it up
But whats the writing on your forehead say
My biggest expectations put me on her train
My biggest expectations bring me home again
Hey
Here comes somebodys body
Who threw me away
The one and only living doll
I never liked the colder side of her
Or anybody

Dr. Reich vastly offended many people by his sociological theory, which holds that fascism is just an exaggerated form of the basic structure of sex-negative societies and has existed under other names in every civilization based on sexual repression. In this theory, the character and muscular armor of the average citizen — a submissive and frightened attitude anchored in body reflexes — causes the average person to want a strong authority figure above them. Tyranny, in this model, is not created by tyrants alone but by neurotic masses who want tyrants.
